Devon stood there staring at the job flyer in her hand. She read through it over and over again. She slowly began walking towards the east forest of Magnolia. “It’s only modeling, I can do it.” The words rolled off her lips in in a whispered tone her hand shock slightly. She took a short pause. “Hopefully.” Myra just hoped that she would be able to do this job. She was pretty enough to be displayed as a model. She continued walking, as she chanted to herself these specific words “ I can do it.” Modelling wasn’t really her thing but it doesn’t hurt to try. For some reason she always has this habit of over thinking before she starts a job. She herself knows that she has to get rid of that habit. She calmed herself down before putting on some ear plugs and listening to music which relax her. Her lips were tugged into a smile as she made her way to the forest.
After a long walk, she was finally able to make it to the forest. When she reached the location specified on the flyer, she was greeted with the setup of the shoot. Devon stood there taking in every detail of the shoot. She saw the camera placed in different directions, with the crew organizing everything. “Ah, so like the setup, I assume.” Devon was sort of surprised when the voice suddenly reached her ears. She turned around to see a man, wearing a suit, looking at her. He looked like he was in his mid twenties. Devon smiled at him. “Yes, it’s quite beautiful.” The man’s smile widened. “Well, I’m glad you like it. I’m Mr. Enderson, the owner to Sorcerer Weekly.” He moved his hand forward for a shake. Devon firmly gripped the man’s hand and said with a smile. “I’m Devon. I here for the job request you sent.” He looked her over. “Well, You’re just the kind of model we were looking for.” He looked to the side before yelling someone’s name. “Wellary, come here.” A girl, who Devon assumed was Wellary, came jogging at his call. “Yes, sir.” The man gestured at Devon “Please escort this young lady to the changing room. Wellary simply nodded and asked the mage to follow her. Devon obliged.
They walked into a caravan that stood there, at the back of the set. Wellary stood outside. “There is a dress kept inside. Please it and come out for the shoot. Our designer will be helping you get ready.” Devon nodded and stepped into the caravan to be greeted by a beautiful woman with long, luscious blonde hair. “Oh Hi! You must be the mage who accepted the job. I have to say, You’re a beautiful young lady.” Devon smiled at the woman’s kind tone. The woman gestured for Devon to sit down and she did as she was asked. “Well, I’ll be helping you get ready today.” She grabbed a dress hanging neatly in the rack and passed it to Devon. “Please change into this. “ She took the dress and quickly changed into it. She looked over herself in the mirror. The dress was a beautiful knee-length dress, shaded blue, with white cloth, covering the front. Devon stepped out of the curtain, where the woman, who has previously introduced herself as Lucy, was seated. She smiled at Devon. “You look lovely.” After getting her make up and hair done, the mage was ready for the shoot. Her long, red hair was simple straightened and left open. Covering her face was light make up, showcasing her natural beauty. She stepped out of the caravan and walked in front of the camera, her heels clicking with every step. She earned some mesmerized looks by the crew members. This increased her confidence. Throughout the rest of the shoot, she posed as the cameraman asked her to. Soon, the shoot was over and walking towards her was no on other than the manager himself. “The shoot was amazing. Thank you so much for your help.” Devon simply smiled and replied. “It’s no problem. Well, I should get going.” After collecting her reward, she darted back home.
The first thing Devon did the next day was go to the store where the magazines were being sold. She was slightly nervous for some unknown reason. She reached the store and saw the magazines placed on the rack, with her photograph printed on the cover page. She was delighted to see that many people were reading that magazine. Her breath calmed down as she lightly whacked her head. “I worry too much.” She then left the store and went to look for something exciting to do.
