With her father's instruction Lendis went over to Cirven and flipped him over again to quickly work on him. Cirven's hair and eyes changed back to their original colors as he laid under the girl who used healing magic on him. "Hey... Lendis.. Can you remember me now..?" He forced out the words through the pain. She simply shook her head. He smiled at her. "Is it because it reminds you of what you lost..?" Her eyes widened after he spoke. "You.. You know..?" She stared away from his wounds and lost her focus a bit which lessened the effects of her magic on him and caused him some pain. "Guh..!" She quickly regained her focus and continued working on him. "I'm sorry that I wasn't there for what happened but your brother is here now.." With that Cirven again fainted leaving the girl crying to herself. Her father looked on with a grin across his face from what his foster son had said. "That fool.. I will need to hit him again later for that..." He chuckled lightly.

Cirven took on the same stance as earlier and started to sprint towards his master who also took up the same stance. Both men started out at a slow sprint and started to move faster and faster until they got to their max speeds. Both men reached each other and launched their attacks at each other. They both stood with their backs to each other for a short few seconds until Cirven fell to the ground from the newly formed gashes across his chest again. Iyato turned around to face the fallen man and showed that his chest also had a similar slash across his chest. "You did well, boy." Iyato simply fell down to his knees as the black color around his limbs dispersed. "Lendis, help him first."

Both men decided to stop the training for the day so that their bodies could properly rest up and so that they could give Lendis a rest from healing them over and over. "Damn it, old man. I can't believe you were actually trying to kill me there like that. I can't believe you forced me to try and do the same thing to you too." Cirven spoke as the three of them were on their way out of the Void Room. "You will have to channel your killing instincts to use Anima Messor properly, boy. If you cannot control them properly you will not be able to reach the full potential of it. How many times do I have to tell you that?" The old man replied but then suddenly fell down on one knee from a sudden pain in his chest. "Dad?!" Lendis quickly started using her healing magic on him but it didn't seem to have much of an effect on him. "Hey, old man! You OK?" The old man grunted in pain as he then placed his hand on his daughter and shook his head telling her to stop. "I'm sorry, Lendis. I should have told you that this was something I have been dealing with." Iyato panted from the pain.
"What is going on, old man?!" Cirven demanded to know what the issue was. "It looks like I overextended myself in training today with you, boy. I need to rest." The old man went through the portal which him crossing it opened the portal into the restaurant. He then walked out of the restaurant while grasping his chest. Both Cirven and Lendis followed him through and Lendis pressed the wall which released the small lacrima from inside of it and closed the portal.
"He.. He.." Lendis kept her back to Cirven at first but that did not stop him from hearing the cracking in her voice. "He is such an idiot!" She yelled out as she kept her face away from Cirven.

Cirven reached out to the girl's shoulder and placed his hand on her. "He is a strong old man. He will be fine. I'll make sure of it. Just keep an eye on him for me, OK?" Lendis turned around and hugged Cirven practically slamming her face into his chest and was basically using his clothing or what was left of it as a way to rub her tears and snot off. Cirven slightly winced from it all but had been there in the past with Aayla. He hugged her back for a short time and then gave her a few light pats on her back. "You should get going and help him home." She slowly let go and looked at Cirven. "You aren't going to help?" He nodded to her. "I just got something to go do. Don't worry I will be back and it will help that stubborn idiot we have for a father." He gave the girl a wave and left her in the restaurant.
He was never the best with making a good exit and the way he left her there was showing that. His idea was to find something to help the old man out with his problem. With his enhanced hearing he could hear the old man's heart was the problem by how it was beating irregularly. He was happy that his hearing was as good as it was because he knew the old man would not tell him what was wrong otherwise. He went to the part of the city that had medicines for health issues and looked for anything that would help for the heart. He knew the old man was too prideful to go searching for a way to help himself and took it upon himself to find it. He found a shop which sold a medicine that specialized in helping the heart but there was an issue.

"So you mean that you are missing an ingredient for this medicine? What are you missing?" He spoke to the male shopkeeper of the medicine store. "Sorry about this but I am missing the main ingredient which can only be found in the bodies of wyvern in the area. They are pretty ferocious creatures and are protective of their territory and food. They have nest near here but I wouldn't recommend going to try and get any. It is their mating season and they are especially ferocious now." Cirven gave a nod and waved to the man. "Hey! Where are you going?" The shopkeeper yelled out to Cirven. "I'll be back soon with some of the things you need. Don't worry. I'm not a weakling in the slightest." The shopkeeper wanted to stop Cirven but was too late as he was already out the door and running.
"Gotta save the old man.." He mumbled as he ran down the stairs leading to the portal leading out of the city. He then went through the portal and popped out instantly running past the guards near him. "Sorry guys! In a bit of a rush!" He called out as he ran by them. The guards just shrugged being somewhat used to the antics of Cirven.
He later found himself scouring the mountains for any sign of the wyverns the shopkeeper spoke of and it didn't take him long to find them. He saw an area that was uninhabited by anything but saw that they were carcasses of some animals from near by. Carcasses that were not his to go near and this attracted what he was hunting for. Two wyverns flew in from above him screeching out at him and using the claws of their feet to swipe at him. He dodged one of the wyverns that moved towards him but was unable to dodge the other wyvern's claws and was picked up by it.

The wyvern slammed Cirven into the ground while grasping him. It then started to lean in to take a huge bite out of him but Irritum formed from out of his hair and slashed the the wyvern's face causing it to screech out in pain and let go of him. He didn't have time to relax though as the other wyvern quickly moved in and started to slam its claws into the ground at him. Cirven quickly rolled out of the way of the attacks but the wyvern did not stop at all causing debris and rubble to break around Cirven and make a cloud of smoke around him. The wyvern attacking stopped once it could not see its target anymore while the other one had fire swarming in its mouth.
The wyvern shot a ball of fire into the dust storm aiming to hit and scorch their enemy. The fire slammed into Cirven and scorched the area around him but somehow didn't hurt him as it came in contact with him. The flames were then absorbed into his body and he then took a deep breath and launched his own version of a fireball at the wyvern which collided with it and roasted its scales a bit. It was not hurt as much as Cirven would have wanted due to the toughness of its scales.
The second wyvern then attacked again as if not phased by his attack on the other. Its claws swung around him again as he changed the Irritum into its ice form, Kaikias. He waited for one of the clawed legs came down near him and jumped up into the air where he could get close to the wyvern. He then placed Kaikias over his shoulder with both hands on the hilt and slashed it out sending a wave of ice magic at the wyvern which froze its body completely.

His attack took all of the ice magic out of Irritum to do and formed it back to its base form. He had more of a problem though because he was in the air where he had no control over his movements at all. The remaining wyvern rushed him and was able to grab him into its mouth where it tried to bite through him. He screamed out in agony from the fangs starting to dig into him but he had done something. The Irritum was missing and the wyvern suddenly felt something in its stomach bouncing around. The wyvern then threw Cirven to the side sending him into a nearby mountain wall as many daggers shot out of the body of the wyvern which killed it.
Cirven was bloodied and battered after his fight with the wyvern's but he knew that he needed a little bit more energy for one last thing. He let his body slide down onto the floor while his back leaned up against it. "Even though she healed me, I'm still pretty exhausted from all that training it looks like.." He perked his lips together and whistled out weakly for his savior. He then passed out from everything.
He did not know what happened while he was out but when his eyes opened up he saw Zinnath in front of him and then felt her lift him up with her mouth and place him on her back. "Zin.. Get.. The.. Wyverns.. We need them.. For the medicine.." Cirven only had enough strength left to speak basically and even then he could barely do that. Zinnath gave a sad groan to him. "Don't worry... I'm fine.. I can be helped later.. After we get these.. To where they need to go.." Zinnath gave a silent nod and picked up the two wyverns into her mouth and managed to fly with them both. "Thanks... Zinny.." He used his strength to rub lightly on his pet as she flew off.

He used his strength and how his head was basically looking directly down from how he was laying to look for the shop they needed to go to. They were not too far out from the city so it did not take them long to arrive where they needed to go. The giant snake landed in front of the medicine shop that Cirven had been at earlier. She dropped both of the wyvern bodies onto the ground and lifted Cirven up into her mouth. She used her wing to lightly knock on the shopkeepers door who came out completely shocked by the giant snake holding his earlier customer. Then he noticed the two wyverns laying on the ground near them. "How... Long.. Will it take?" The shopkeeper heard the weak voice of Cirven and went over to look at both of the beast bodies near them. "Hmm.. It should only take me until tomorrow afternoon. I made everything up as a precaution for you bringing me these carcasses. Are you OK?"
Cirven weakly smirked at the shopkeeper. "I'm fine... Zinny has got my back after all.. Literally.." He laughed and Zinnath placed him back onto her and flew off into the sky. "One more place, Zin." He spoke out and started to use his sense of smell to find their next destination. Not too long after Zinnath landed in front of a home and knocked on the door with Cirven held up in her mouth again. Lendis answered the door and instantly let out a squeal from the sight. "Hey.. How are you.. Doing..? Was.. wondering.. If I can.. Have some of your.. Time...?" He joked with her while weakly speaking. Zinnath then placed him on the ground near her and let the woman rush up and get him. "You are just as much of an idiot as the old man, you know that?"

Later Cirven woke up in a bed with his wounds healed up from his battle with the wyverns. It was morning now it looked like from how bright the sun was through a nearby window. He stretched his arms up and yawned out as he started to get out of the bed. Lendis then poked half her body through the door and smiled at Cirven. "Good that you are finally up. I have breakfast made and there is enough for each of us. By the way you might want to go say hello to your friend outside." Lendis pointed at the window to show that Zinnath had her head there and was staring in on him. "She has been outside all night watching over you. You both must have a pretty close connection." Cirven smiled at Zinnath and then lifted the window open to let Zinnath poke her head in. "Oh yeah. This is Zinnath. Zinnath, this is Lendis." Lendis moved closer to the snake and put her hand out to pet her which Zinnath allowed the woman to do while sniffing around her lightly.
"She is really kind for such a big animal." Lendis smiled as she pet Zinnath and listened to her moan happily. "Yeah, Zinny used to be my sisters but I had to start taking care of her after things happened." He held in the sorrowful feeling somehow over thinking of Aayla. He thought he was maybe being able to come more to terms with it. Zinnath then moved back to Cirven after and licked at him a few times with her slit tongue. He knew exactly what that meant. "Lendis, her licking like this means that she is pretty hungry. Do you have any fish or anything that you can give her?" Lendis gave a nod to him and walked away for a short time. She came back later with a plate of fish for Zinnath.

Cirven let Zinnath be feed by Lendis after seeing both of them were getting along so well. "Food is in the kitchen, right?" Cirven spoke out as he walked through the door to see the old man sitting at the dining table eating food. "Oh yeah. Dad is there to help you find all you need. I already ate so don't feel bad about eating it all." Lendis spoke out from the bedroom as she continued to feed Zinnath.
"Boy, we will finish your training quickly. You are a quick learner and I was training you for this in the past in hopes that I would be able to teach you Anima Messor at some point. You have had the potential to learn it and be even stronger than me with it with enough practice. All we need to do is have you learn how to transfer your killing intent into your limbs to produce your own limb blades." Cirven gave the old man a nod and grabbed some eggs and some of the meat in the kitchen onto a plate. He took a fork and started to dig in. It didn't take him long to finish but before he did the old man left to go to his own room for a short time.
Lendis came into the kitchen after feeding Zinnath to clean up some but Cirven stopped her. "Len, I am going to need you to do something for me." He then whispered into her ear and the girl gave him a nod then walked off outside where she rode on Zinnath into the sky.
After finishing his food Cirven went to cleaning up the kitchen for Lendis. After cleaning up he went to find the old man for their training. He found him in a room sitting down on his knees and meditating. "Hey, old man. Are you ready?" Iyato stood up from his kneeling position and turned to Cirven. "The question is are you ready, boy?"

The blue haired mage nodded to the old man. "Did you think I would say no to this or something?" Iyato looked at him completely serious still and lifted up the small lacrima in his hand which opened up the portal to the Void Room between both of them. Each man then walked in and were thrown back into the open room with where they would train. "Now I want you to take a meditative position and focus on your want to kill." Cirven was not one for meditating but did as he was told and closed his eyes as he meditated.
His thoughts swarmed with those he wanted to deal with in order to get revenge for his sister. All of Cor Torva, his mother and anyone who aligned themselves with them. They all flashed before him causing a purple and black aura to come out from him. "Channel that killing intent into your limbs now, boy. You did it before with your attack on me. Think of how you did that then. The purple and black aura then swirled around and slowly starting transferring to his limbs on his body." Iyato gave a nod to Cirven. "I'm happy I taught you a lot of this in the past, boy. Now with this control over your killing intent you can do things that others cannot. Remember how you got yourself to this."
Iyato walked a bit away from Cirven and called out his own aura over his limbs. "With this power you can do things that most great swordsman all strive to gain power over. It is possibly some things that you could already do but now to a greater extent." The old man slashed his hands around the air showing that the air itself had become a weapon for him to use. Iyato even showed by using his legs to slash the air that he was able to make the compressed air into steps to climb up on. Cirven simply sat still and learned from what the old man showed him.

Cirven then focused for a second and tried using his skills to mimic that of Iyato's. The air compressed into slashes under his slashes and allowed him to walk on them. He quickly learned that the air he compressed only lasted a really short time though when he fell from fairly high up and had to save himself using the Irritum in a floating pillow form to catch his fall. "OK... Going to have to remember that these air steps do not last long at all..." The old man laughed at the man. "You are learning a lot faster than I did after getting your limb blades. There is only one last step now in this training. The limb blades and learning that you can control the air with your slashes are not enough. You will have to focus more and more on your control over your killing intent."
He nodded to the old man and continued slashing the air over and over to gain more of a control over his new ability but the more he slashed the less the air would succumb to his attacks. He started to angrily swipe away but it just completely stopped. "I told you before, boy. Anima Messor is a magic based on your killing intent." Cirven listened to the old man and focused on his killing intent again as he saw the same people flash in front of him and slashed out again and was able to have the air bend to his attack again. "This might be harder than I thought.." He mumbled out as he started to sweat from how much he was trying to maintain his killing intent. He knew he could do it and was forcing himself to learn how to keep it under his complete control but he couldn't so soon it looked like.

As Cirven was practicing Lendis came into the Void Room holding the medicine that Cirven had made sure to get for the old man. Iyato approached Lendis and spoke. "Lendis, we shouldn't need your healing here today. It's mostly just learning control for now." She lifted up the bag to her father when he finished speaking. "He risked his life to get you this. Its heart medicine. He somehow knew what was wrong with you and went out of his way to get this for you yesterday. That was why he was here in the morning. I spent most of the night healing him from the wounds he had." Iyato looked towards Cirven and took the bottle of medicine out of the bag.
Cirven was still trying to focus on his killing intent for his new abilities but was having some difficulty doing it. Iyato walked up to him and watched as he kept failing to do as he could earlier. "You are losing the focus on your killing intent that you need to have. You need to learn to focus in on it and use it for your attacks. If you cannot do this then you will not be able to use Anima Messor." The old man sounded as stern as ever at first but then he lifted up the bottle of medicine for his student to see. "Stop for now though, boy. For this, I thank you." Iyato dropped to his knees and bowed as some tears formed in his eyes. Cirven could only look on as the old man bowed to him. He was far too confused to really do anything else.
"Hey! Uhh... Old man.. Get up.. You don't need to do all of this.." Cirven reached down to help the man up from his bow and was completely not ready for what came next.

"Hey old man. Come on get up." He pulled the old man up but as he helped him up was quickly swatted over the head by a rolled up paper which sent him lurching over and rubbing at his head. "You idiot! You let a person say thank you correctly and do not stop them while they do it!" The old man yelled out and back near the exit Lendis simply laughed at the scene. "Damn it, old man! Do you keep those hidden away somewhere or something!?" He yelled back but was quickly met with another yell that was an octave higher. "Maybe I do but that is none of your business, boy!"
Lendis continued laughing and even got louder for both of the men to hear causing them both to yell at her. "What are you-?!" "-Laughing at?!" They both said at the same time and then looked at each other and laughed themselves for a bit. "Boy." The old man spoke once they stopped laughing. "You will become stronger to protect those around you. I will make sure of it." The old man stared at Cirven and then gave a nod to him. Cirven had not seen Iyato the was he was in a long time and to see Lendis laughing that way brought back memories of the past. "Hey, hey! Who said to stop training, boy?! Keep going." Cirven nodded and continued to channel his killing intent over and over, slashing his limbs out every time he thought he could do it.
He was starting to get the hang of controlling and channeling his killing intent when Iyato spoke out again. "You are coming along fairly quickly, boy. It seems as though you are starting to get back the feeling you had earlier with this magic. Find that emotion that coursed through you that triggered it. Find that power... Tomorrow." Cirven looked at the old man confused. "This training is over, boy. We all need to rest. Especially you."

The next day Cirven awoke in his foster family's home again and went back to training in the Void Room but this time he was alone. He had used the small lacrima that contained the Void Room himself and continued training. He knew what he needed to do in order to find the power he needed. He needed something to cling onto to bring out his killing intent. Some thought that would set off a fire in him but he couldn't find it again. He couldn't understand why and continued to slash his hands like crazy through the air over and over hoping for something to happen. For anything to happen.
"Starting early aren't you, boy?" Iyato spoke out as he had just arrived inside of the room. "I cannot find it, old man. It was there when I first tried yesterday but now its just gone." Iyato walked up to Cirven and swung out his arm which instantly took on the black aura and slashed through the air skillfully disrupting the air like Cirven wanted to. "Do you want to know what I think of to keep this aura in tact at all times?" Cirven didn't respond in any way and only waited silently. "I think of my wife and how I lost her. I think of the possibility of losing my daughter to the world. I think of leaving her with no one when I am gone." He stared off into the nothingness of the room around them as he spoke and at the end of his short speech looked back to Cirven. "You will need to figure out what pulls your killing intent out of you. What feeds into your anger." Iyato then walked away towards the exit to leave Cirven to train alone. He did not say anything else to him and just simply left, not even looking back to see the effects his speech had done.

The next day, Iyato arrived in the Void Room to find Cirven sleeping on the ground near the exit. He shook his head at the sleeping man and then tapped him with his foot. The tapping of his foot did nothing back make Cirven reach out and grab it and wrap his arms around it as if the leg were a pillow of some kind. Iyato grew annoyed at this and leaned down near Cirven's head and took in a deep breath of air before yelling. "BOY! WAKE UP!" Cirven quickly jumped up to his feet, saw that it was the old man and started to rub his eyes. "How long were you in here, boy? Did you train the entire day away?" Cirven yawned and scratched the back of his head. "I didn't want to keep going day by day with not being able to control my new abilities. So yeah, I took a training day and made it into an entire twenty-four hours long or at least tried to."
The old man could not believe that Cirven had done this but did not see a use in scolding him for it at all. Seeing the look the old man was giving him Cirven walked back into the Void Room. "Just watch." He then slashed his arm out the same way that Iyato had done the say before and completely mimicked the man by unconsciously summoning out his aura and slashing the air bending it to his attack. "I also found that this works perfectly with Irritum and all of its forms I use."
Iyato chuckled and formed his aura over his own limbs. "Time for the final test then, boy." He took on the stance he had taken days before where his left hand was near his face and his right hand was outstretched towards Cirven. "Looks that way.." Cirven called out Irritum and held the blade with both of his hands in front of him. Both men stared each other down as Lendis came through the portal and into the room herself and watched.
Both of the men then slowly started to move towards each other picking up more and more speed the closer they got until moving their full speed towards each other. Cirven placed his left hand on his right wrist while holding Irritum out to his right side as he ran. Iyato let both of his hands face out next to his body. Once in striking distance both men attacked each other. Iyato swinging both of his arms forward in an attempt to hit Cirven in the chest and Cirven used his right arm with his left arm for added support and power to use an incredibly powerful slash to cut across the body of the old man. The two attacks collided for a split second and both men stood up right with their backs facing each other.
Cirven fell to his knees and his clothes ripped around his chest showing blood dripping. Iyato laughed out loud. "So that is all you have, hmm?" Iyato stopped laughing. "Good.." He then fell over onto his chest as blood came out from his body. "Lendis... Help him first.." The girl nodded and smiled. She knew she could help her father so she didn't have much to worry about but she was happy for her brother who also smiled back.
Later after both men healed Iyato gave Cirven the small lacrima containing the Void Room thinking that he would need it to continue his training more than some old man did. "Old man. Make sure you can still make ramen quickly. I will be back for some bowls with friends soon." He told the old man and only received a stern look back as he then left his two foster family and headed back to Eclipse Soul as a stronger mage and person.
