A wince in shock that his own body didn't even suffer a single bit of pain from sharing the damage from his partner's pain. Oddly enough it was no doubt due to his ring, truly he was immensely more powerful with it on, to the point his own endurance could skyrocket while worn. Though it was still mighty thankful that the portion of defense he shared with his partner had worked
'come on...charge...', his hands were clutching the handles of his gunblades with anticipation before the charge finished, even watching on his H.U.B waiting and just watching the bar fill only for once it did, he smiled.
"This'll sting if you're caught in it!!!", the roar of anticipation grew as he lifted up both gun blades pointing them forward
"DIE!!!!", his entire demeaner changed all at once as bullet after bullet would fly from the barrels of his gunblades, each trigger pull sending out two bullets at a time, since each gunblade had two barrels, Raiza kept track of not just where but how he aimed. Especially since he knew the strongest was... well shit
Having a tree sent his way, a single trigger pull sent two explosive rounds towards the base of the tree, shattering it outwards to reveal the hulking monster behind it. A second and third trigger pull from one gun, while the first and second of the other gun would total out eight rounds of magical bullets to collide with the boss level creature, erupting the area in a massive explosion. Though keeping track of his partner, it was time to make use of that shield. Sending two trigger pulls(4 rounds) to the adult vulcan he was dealing with no doubt the explosions would catch his team-mate in them, but due to them being magical, then his bullets shouldn't even touch the guy, instead his shield should soak up every last bit of damage, while the Vulcans around were being torched by explosives. So far he fired off four trigger pulls of his left gunblade, and four from his right. Two more left for each, make them count.
That he did, now that only one that was left was the boss, whom seemed to shrug most of the damage off, Raiza continued to pull the triggers until no more rounds were left, and even then he clutched his blades tighter getting ready for the reload before the second tree was sent his way, not even enough time to dodge it, he would rise his gunblades up, using the explosive edges to block it, while being caught in it himself, oddly enough he could have prevented the impact onto himself, yet at the same merit, he would have risked too much to do such.
"heres your time back use this wisely...activate lag switch!", and like that, time would freeze for 3 seconds, not very long but it would be enough to regain composer, and since Raiza's guns were currently reloading their energy, this meant he'd need to get some time himself in while he hunched over from the mana loss, it was a taxing effort after all to have to deal with such a quick and annoying drain. Though what worried him the most was the fact yes the boss creature looked severely injured with a few chunks of his body missing from the impacts of the gunblade's bullets, as well as the entire area looked... annoyingly destroyed from all the explosions that went off, having easily made a nice little gap
(fyi your shield would take the 60dmg down to 30, then the pain split would take it to 15 each (hence why I put the shield on only you, not me, cause it'd be worthless on me right now)

-Given Explosion(charged) on both of my gunblades so an added 75% C-rank damage on impact of gunblade while 55% damage if getting hit by the AOE my bullets do 50% C-rank base thus the damage to all my shots are currently. Bullets recieve a flat 1/4th C-rank so +10dmg (charged) so +15 (75% of that 15 =11.25 *rounding down* for aoe)
C-rank spell damage: 40hp /2 =20 Blade base 40/4 =10 bullet base
Blade: 20 + 30 = 50dmg impact or 20 +22 = 42 for AOE hits
Bullets: 10 + 15 =25dmg impact or 10 + 11 = 21 for AOE hits
my clip size is 12 bullets per post per gun. I fire 2 per trigger pull. There is all the calculations as someone requested)
and only four explosions would have hit you (IF THE HIT YOU) so that'd be 21 per(84 total) if they hit you, so your shield soaks them all, no damage done to you.

Description: You've heard of them by now, and you sure hate them in any shooter or game you play. Those nasty lag switches that give your opponent the edge. This is considdered time magic by all rights, and will slow/halt time around the user up to 40meters for a brief 1 second, allowing them to get that extra one second of time needed to close in on you, change directions, think, ect... Though it is only 1.5 second, and can be sensed that it is incoming a second prior to it does happen. The execution is nye instant and thus only requires the user to mentally say the words 'activate lag switch' or out loud 'damn lag'
Strengths:
-Allies are not affected by this time stop and thus can move quickly themselves
-Movement upon time continuing appears glitched, so the enemy has no idea what you did in the time that time had stopped
-Quick instantaneous execution.
Weaknesses:
-Able to be sensed prior to it's use and thus can be dampened if you are stronger rank than the spell itself. Spell is only 50% as strong against 1 rank higher. (i.e spell rank vs player rank) however if both the user and the spell is weaker than the enemy then it is 25% as effective.
-The spell itself is not offensive and relies on the user to take the time given to them and make best use of it.
- Not defensive at all, requires the user to try their best to use the time given
-Anyone with time magic themselves will be affected only 50%, while time slayers(if any) wpnt be affected at all.
