Primary Magic: Iron Dragon Slayer Magic
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Iron Dragon Slayer magic is one of many Lost Magics that are either passed down by a great Dragon or implanted into the wizard by use of a Dragon Slayer Lacrima. Dragon Slayer magic is used primarily to combat dragons though its perks carry over and are advantageous against many different wizards as well.
Vasuki, the great Iron Dragon of the Phoenix Mountains, discovered the young and abandoned Eliot upon a cliff. Beset with curiosity and an odd sense of duty, the dragon took the boy as his own foster progeny, believing him capable of great things. Three years the boy spent with the dragon, as the beast channeled magic into the growing child. But worried for his safety and lack of human interaction, Vasuki eventually flew to Oshibana and left the young boy on the doorstep of Alan and Marie Malpirg, so that he could grow up properly.

Strengths:
- Physical Resistance: Iron is a tough metal and with Eliot manipulating it into his spells, it makes any physical attempts to break said spells highly dangerous and often difficult. In addition, physical weapons below his rank only do half damage.
- Brute Force: Wood, rock, ice and fire structures (read: Make magics) take 10% more damage from Eliot’s attacks.
- Iron Will: Eliot is capable of consuming iron and steel to regenerate his magic power but he can forgo this instead to heal 2% health instead. In addition to this, if a dropped weapon is nearby, Eliot can pick it up and consume it to regain his power/health.
- Strong!: Though Eliot is not a superhumanly strong boy, his magic can be. Picking up heavy objects is much easier with the assistance of pillars made of iron. The ability to move more increases with Eliot’s ability to better handle his magic.
- D Rank – 200lbs
- C Rank – 400lbs
- B Rank – 800lbs
- A Rank – 1500lbs
- S Rank – 2500lbs
- H Rank – 4000lbs
- Water and Fire Resistance: Fire is what tempered iron and water is what cooled it into form. As such, these elements have little effect in damaging the young Dragon Slayer.
- 5% resistance to fire spells of same rank (not including Slayer magic)
- 5% resistance to water spells of same rank (not including Slayer magic)
Weaknesses:
- Ice Magic: Iron can hold up against a natural winter but ice magic? It will make his attacks brittle and weak.
- 5% increased damage from Ice Magic of same level, 10% from any above
- Electric Magic: Eliot is basically a lightning rod. Any lightning-based attacks will automatically hit him.
- Lowest Tier of Slayer: Metallic God/Demon Slayers will have no problem consuming anything Eliot throws at them. In turn, Eliot cannot consume anything they attack him with.
- Debilitating Motion Sickness: Eliot cannot fight while on any vessel unless aided by a spell that buries his motion sickness.
- Molten Magic: Fire is hot but molten is far beyond. Eliot suffers +5% increased damage from attacks that use lava or other molten substances.
- Dragon Force Hangover: Dragon Force is a dramatic power up but it also comes at a great cost. Once Force has run out, Eliot is left with only 5% of his magic power, leaving him open for counterattacks.
Lineage:
- Spoiler:
- Marksman's Aim:
Description: One of Fiore's legends talks about a great hunter who chased an infamous predator for forty years. The predator brought death with it everywhere it went. It was so fast that all other hunters that had attempted to kill it could not even hit it once. Instead, it feasted on their bodies. The great hunter was the only one who had survived a fight with the beast. During the fight the predator's blood got into his eyes, and as if dark magic had something to do with it, his eyes became the eyes of the beast and a strange rush of adrenaline went through his body. Both escaped the fight with serious wounds, but survived. Thirty-eight years the hunter finally stuck an arrow through the beast's skull. According to the legend, he used the eyes and blood-rush of the monster to gain incredible aim and accuracy, unlike any other man. Which is why he was able to kill it. It is only now that historians made the link between other hunters in history, and even in modern times, of equal reputation and the great hunter by retracing their bloodlines back to the great hunter himself.
Ability: All of the user's attacks cannot miss. They can still be blocked. The user also has a passive effect of improved sight, being able to see twice as far as other people.
Usage: Duration: 3 posts. Cool-down: 7 posts. Can only be used 2 times per thread.
- Dragon Force: The ultimate power up for a Dragon Slayer! Eliot’s body is covered in thick iron scales that heavily increase his defense and offense. He must consume 70% of his element up to 150% total magic power to engage this ability. It lasts seven posts and has no magic drain during its duration.
- Steel is Good Too! The tempered form of iron is just as easily consumed by Eliot. This increases his range of objects in which to consume to increase his magical power.
- Iron on Iron: Eliot’s right arm was torn off when he was a kid and was replaced with a replacement made of iron. Any attacks made with this arm are +10% stronger and lower the cooldown by one post (to a minimum of 2 posts). Cooldown after usage is 3 posts.
- Twin Dragon Slayers of Blue Pegasus: Something about working with Slade has rubbed off on the young Eliot. Despite using different elements, he has a wanton to work harder and fight harder alongside the Fire Dragon Slayer. In jobs or battles with Slade as an ally, Eliot’s attacks do +3% more damage. This effect cannot be added to any unison raids or spell fusions with Slade though.
D Rank Spells:
- Spoiler:
Name: Iron Dragon’s Sledge-Smash
Rank: D
Type: Iron/Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description: One of the easiest spells Eliot has; mastered by keeping foxes and coyotes away from the farm. One of Eliot’s arms transforms into pillar with a hammer head. He thrusts it forward in an attempt to daze or knockout his opponent. This can extend up to 5m beyond normal arm reach. Pillar is the same width as Eliot’s arm.
Strengths:- Can knock back an opponent 5m.
- If used on an opponent charging a spell, can disrupt spell usage
- Can also be used to add speed to Eliot’s attempt at dodging.
Weaknesses:- It’s only as wide as Eliot’s arm, making it easier to spot.
- Wizards B-Rank can only be knocked back a maximum of 2m. A ranks aren't affected at all.
- Wizards B-Rank and above can not be disrupted
- It’s main use is for close-quarters opponents. Ranged opponents will have no problem avoiding it.
Name: Iron Dragon’s Psychometry
Rank: D
Type: Iron/Chain Spell
Duration: 4 Posts
Cooldown: 5 Posts
Description:Eliot is the Iron Dragon Slayer and can transform parts of his body into iron. Obviously, he can control this iron and do some pretty amazing things. By grinding down parts of his arm into iron dust, either the wind or his breath can carry it onto objects. These objects are now seen as part of his body allowing him to control them! The dust is very fine, making it difficult to see. This gives the illusion of Eliot using telekinesis magic while in reality, he's simply controlling the iron that came from his body.
Eliot, more often than not, will utilize both arms to create this iron dust. Then he releases it so he can use it for one of his other two spells; Iron Dragon’s Fortification or Iron Dragon’s Needle Shower.
Strengths:- Creates the opportunity for his two other spells.
- Is hard to disrupt as the iron dust is nearly invisible.
Weaknesses:- Causes no damage to enemies itself.
- Requires concentration to imbue other spells, leaving Eliot open for attack.
- Particles are useless beyond 5m.
- Water/Wind magic can destroy particles.
Name: Iron Dragon’s Fortification
Rank: D
Type: Iron Support/Defensive
Duration: 2 Posts
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description: Vasuki, unknown to many, was one of the few dragons that favored supportive magic over offensive. Despite his increased durability, he believed that aiding his allies in battle offered the better opportunity.
Despite his not remembering Vasuki, Eliot embodies this same idea with his magic. After using Iron Dragon’s Psychometry, he manipulates the iron dust onto an ally within 5m. There it increases one of two things; his ally’s offense or his ally’s defense. Offensively it can add a keener sharpness to a weapon, allowing it to do +5% more damage. Defensively it can harden on a shield or even on a wizard’s body, increasing their defense by +5%.
Strengths:- Increases either offense or defense by +5% of an ally.
- Extremely hard to destroy once it’s been formed.
Weaknesses:- Loses form if Eliot’s concentration is broken.
- Cannot be used on Eliot himself.
- Wind Attacks can disperse the dust before it latches on, rendering the spell null.
- Though cooldown is lower than Psychometry, cannot be cast until it is cooled down.
Name: Iron Dragon’s Needle Shower.
Rank: D
Type: Iron/Offensive/Multiple Hit
Duration: 2 Posts
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description: Iron dust is a great addition to an ally but it also can play its own part in causing damage as well. If the opponent is within 5m, Eliot can manipulate the iron dust and turn it into hundreds of tiny iron needles. These will stick into the opponent’s body like dozens of tiny bee stings, causing minor injury but major confusion.
Strengths:- Extremely hard to destroy or defend against
- Can interrupt a single attack, canceling it entirely.
- Can be spread to two opponents, granted that they are within 5m
Weaknesses:- Loses form if Eliot’s concentration is broken.
- Causes half of D-Rank damage (10)
- Wind Attacks can disperse the dust before it connects, rendering the spell null.
- Though cooldown is lower than Psychometry, cannot be cast until it is cooled down.
- Can't disrupt B ranks or higher
Name: Iron Dragon’s Carving Edge
Rank: D
Type: Iron/Offensive
Duration: Damage Over Time (3 Posts)
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: It’s taken some time for Elliot to understand that, as a wizard, he will have to fight against enemies. It was this realization that gave birth to this new attack of Eliot’s. A blade, roughly the width of his arm, extends from his wrist on his right arm. It extends up to a foot past Eliot’s hand. He uses this for quick attacks in close combat. But he doesn’t aim to stab his opponent’s. He uses the blade to open cuts and cause bleeding.
Strengths:- Bleeds an opponent for 5 damage for three turns. Considered extra 5 damage bleeding in conjunction with original damage
- Eliot uses his iron arm, thus making creation of this blade quick
- It is lightweight, thus allowing Eliot to move at full speed with it.
Weaknesses:- Only as wide as Eliot’s arm, making it easier to spot especially from afar.
- Initial hit is only 10 damage
- Wizards C-Rank only bleed for 1 turn. Above, nada.
- Close range weapon, useless at long distance
Name: Iron Dragon’s Foot Blade
Rank: D
Type: Iron/Offensive/Defensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 Posts
Description: This is similar to Eliot's Carving Edge but has a few distinct differences. One is that it extends from the bottom of his heel and only to a length of 3 inches. He uses this in conjunction with physical attacks, namely front and side kicks. It’s a sharp and quick attack that doesn’t cause massive amounts of damage, merely buffs singular attacks. At the same time, Eliot can use this to pin himself to the ground, halting any attempts to knock him back.
Strengths:- Bolsters a single kick an additional 10 damage
- Quick to extend, making predicting it hard
- Can be used once in a thread to cancel the knockback in a spell
Weaknesses:- Retracts immediately after use, doesn’t last
- Only hits for 10 damage
- Wizards C-Rank can still knock back Elliot for half distance. Above is useless.
- Close range weapon, useless at long distance
- Can knock back an opponent 5m.
C Rank Spells:
- Spoiler:
Name: Sword of the Iron Dragon
Rank: C
Type: Iron/Offensive
Duration: 2 Posts
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description: Yet another transformation for Eliot’s limbs, this one with a bit more bite than the last. The aforementioned appendage warps into a large, jagged blade of tempered iron with spikes protruding from it. It can be extended 10m beyond normal arm’s reach and can cut through flesh and stone.
Strengths:- Sharp; can rend flesh
- Spikes on the blade are half a foot, making dodging hard
- Can be swung in all directions
Weaknesses:- Girth can not be increased beyond Eliot’s natural arm
- Wizards B-Rank can resist being cut. A ranks can’t be cut at all.
- Its weight is heavier than anything Eliot has used before and, as such, its attacks are slower than normal.
- At maximum extension (10m) it only does half damage, as Eliot has less control of it
Name: Iron Dragon’s Roar
Rank: C
Type: Iron/Offensive/DoT
Duration: 4 Posts (2 Charging, 2 Duration)
Cooldown: 5 Posts
Description: A staple of being a Dragon Slayer is being able to master the might serpent’s roar. Eliot summons magical power into his throat and mouth, puffing his cheeks out like a chipmunk with its winter gather. After filling his maw to the brim, he places his hands in front of his mouth like he’s playing a trumpet and he unleashes his magical energy in the form of a giant twister, filled with iron flecks. This cyclone can shoot out 15m and expands 10m as it extends, creating a cone-like effect. The blast is a double-edged sword; it carried great blunt force while also having the capability to cut into one’s body with the iron flecks. Max it can extend is 30m
Strengths:- Can knock back an opponent 5m as well as cuts them up. At point blank range, target can get knocked back as far as 15m.
- Expands slightly, to allow better chance of hitting target
- Can reduce another Dragon Slayer’s roar damage by half if of the same rank.
Weaknesses:- Must be charged first, leaving Eliot open to attack.
- For the duration of the attack, Eliot cannot move from his spot and cannot defend himself.
- Wizards B-Rank can only be knocked back 7m at point blank. Anything above suffers no knockback
- Cannot be used unless charged for 2 posts. Attempts to use it quickly will result in a stomachache and Eliot will be stunned for one post.
Name: Iron Dragon’s Wing Attack
Rank: C
Type: Iron/Offensive/AoE
Duration: 3 Posts (1 Charging)
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: Arguably Eliot’s most disruptive attack. The same magic energy that he would gather in his mouth wraps around Eliot’s arms like hula hoops. Upon completion of charging (normally about four or five spinning iron hoops on each arm) Eliot snaps his arms forward like he’s doing a backstroke. The rings become two separate twisters (3m x 3m) made up of iron particles. They circle around Eliot counter-clockwise and expand out about 5m in an attempt to swallow up all opponents within that range. These carry less blunt force and more spinning force; each vortex attempts to delay casting spells while also causing loss of balance.
Strengths:- Can knock back an opponent that’s lower rank 5m. Same rank is 3m
- Can hit anyone within a 5m range
Weaknesses:- Can damage allies if they are within range
- Wizards B-Rank and above suffer no knockback
- Wizards B-Rank and above can not be disrupted by additional charge
- Sharp; can rend flesh
