The Great Wall of Sin.    Stretching from horizon to horizon and towering up into the clouds the structure was one of the great wonders of Earthland and helped ward the monsters of Sin away from the mainland.  Pergrande,  specifically.   The anti-supernatural zealots who despite their claims still utilized supernatural power of their own.   Divine magics.  Clerics,  priests,  paladins.

Their wall was no different.   Radiating a divine aura,  the wall wasn't just a physical obstruction,  but a mental and spiritual one as well.  The monsters of Sin kept their distance,  rarely even trying to pass the wall.
So long as it stood,  Pergrande lived in relative peace from the chaos behind this wall.

This wall.   Eris stood at the base of it,  white hair billowing along with the cape at her back, her hand out stretched making contact with an unseen force a foot before even touching the wall itself.  Silver eyes glaring with an intensity as she studied the bands of magic that wove themselves throughout the structure.   Dancing in intricate patterns that interlocked and curled around one another in a vast network stretching from coast to coast.

Rings of infernal glyphs formed around her wrists as she reached through the barrier,  the weave of magic giving before her as "Strands" seemed to catch aflame and wither at her touch.   Her hands penetrating and being met with a new barrier woven into the stone itself.    A new ring of glyphs formed around her wrists,  between the layers of the barriers as she reached out and plucked at the weave of magic,  and pulled.

A cataclysmic wail shrieked as the divine power within the wall was breached,  the weave of magic being seared,  blackening in a wave out from where she touched like a ripple of blight.   Blinding light met her from the sky like a lance from heaven,  falling upon her in a cascade of radiant energy.

Eris's body burst into an inky black smoke of ash and glowing embers,  disappearing through cracks in the veil separating the mortal realm from that of the dead.   Her body reforming dozens of meters away from the wall atop a hill crest,  her body composed and 'steaming' with dark black smoke.   Silver eyes seemed burned away,  the flesh around them charred as two pinpoints of flame looked on at the pillar of light that still slammed into the spot she vacated.

It didn't take long for the light to find her again,  carving a path of destruction into the earth as it trailed after her even as the barrier died.   The black wave traveling down the wall towards the horizon.  The shriek continued to echo out throughout the land,  a wave of sensation that can only be described as divine judgement,  of indignation and blasphemy was sure to be felt far and wide.   Even as far as Pergrande's capitol,  or Fiore could a sufficiently powerful individual feel this echo.

Already individuals were rushing up the wall to see what was happening.  Confused guardsmen rousing from their stations in disbelief as the defenses that stood for generations.  Centuries.  Millennia.  Came crashing down.

Focusing on a lion-like "Gargoyl" at the top of the wall,  Eris held her hands out to her side,  blazing skulls appearing within them,  looking over her shoulder to reveal the army of the dead.  The Burning Endless.   The hoard of the undying.  Legions of bone charging forward over the hills and out of tunnels carved through the earth.

The beam of light was nearly at her feet before she surged forward,  flying through the air trailing dark smoke behind her,  her body splitting in two and coming back together on the other side of the pillar,  her arms out stretched behind her with flames mingling with her smoke.    Throwing her arms forward she let the skulls fly,  crashing into the lionhead emblem on the wall.  It's eyes shining with divine light,  its face contorted in angry fury.   The wall cracked and the lionhead broke free,  sinking into the ground at the base of the wall.   The pillar of light silenced.

Alarm bells rung out,  singing along with the shriek of the dying divine power of the wall.   Arrows started flying,  hailing down at her and the hoard behind her that poured out from the earth.    She had one more task before her.

The wall itself needed to come down,  for good.

Slipping through a rift in the air,  Eris reappeared high in the sky.   She looked like a speck among the clouds,  but it was an injustice.   Her body expanding to titanic proportions as she let herself plummet.   Her body splitting apart in the mean time,  bones growing and protruding from her form.    In her place was the terrifying visage of the Dracolich.  The Skeletal Wyrm.  Her long body careening towards the earth with wings slicked back to allow herself to fall,  arms tucked in.

Like a streak through the air despite her size,  Eris impacted with the wall,  the wall looking small in comparison.    With one last wail,  like the scream of a slain god,  the wall crumbled.  The burned black wave of magic shattering completely,  the stone crumbling to gape open where she crashed through.

What soldiers there were were hopelessly outmatched, each one falling in mass as her shadow passed over them.   But what waste that would be to leave them to rot.  No.  They would serve her.   Rising from their deaths new numbers joined her legions of the undead,  turning on what soldiers managed to avoid the wave of death.

Eris herself twisted in midair,  bones shrinking or falling off of her in droves while her body compressed itself back into the form of a pale woman with flowing white hair.   Smoke wafting off of her while she hovered,  looking down on the chaos she wrought.  The burning eyes fading over as flesh crept back into place,  featureless white orbs hiding the flames of her hellfire eyes.

The power of the wall broken,  the forces of Sin spilled through.  Giant creatures,  with varying degrees of flesh,  slammed their weight into unbroken segments of the wall.   Cracking with their horns,  their hammers,  or their rams.     Similar scenes playing out at other points along the wall in coordinated assault.   Lionhead figures struggling to dent the onslaught,  unintended for such an attack,  carving paths of destruction through the flood of bone.

The Great Wall of Sin was lost.

Past the wall the armies of Sin continued to pour through the broken Wonder that once held Sin at bay,   new avalanches of stone falling as new holes caved open here and there from the gargantuan monsters battering against the wall to allow more of the flood to storm through.    An army of the undead,  tireless and fearless.   The wave of skeletons was fearsome enough on its own right,  but it was speckled with many larger creatures,  both undead and monsters of various size and form taken from the wild lands behind the wall.

The wave swept over soldier and peasant alike,  as bustling towns built up on this side of the wall had crept up in the generations of safety,  once simple boarding towns for guardsmen of old.    Each fallen man, woman, and child rising again given new life,  turning to join the flood in rooting out the rest of the living.

Fires started to burn,  black smoke rising up from the town,  and others along the Wall well past the horizon.   An evacuation was already under way,  disorganized and frantic without real leadership due to the suddenness of it all.   People trampled under foot of their fellow man while they fled,  some by horse,  few by carriage,  others trying to run.  Fleeing for their lives.

Eris wasn't concerned.    The army of the dead could easily overtake most of them.  The mounted individuals could be chased down personally,  but it wasn't worth the effort.   The next town would have some time to prepare before the flood arrived for them,  but it would not be long.

Smoke could be seen on the horizon from where Eris hovered in the air, her own black smoke flowing off her body like a heavy steam.  Ravens and crows circled the air around her,  themselves undead and taken by the flood.  The sun was setting behind her,  casting light against the sight of another burning town dozens of miles away,  while she gave her silent command.   Hunt.   The flock of black birds scattering out.   Traveling far faster than the bulk of her armies,  the ravens would themselves bring death among the civilians,  to rise again as zombies to cause chaos and disorder until the armies arrived.

Below her,  the undead reached the far walls of the town below,  already spilling out onto the road and sprinting onwards to chase their quarry and raid the next settlement while a mountainous zombified ogre rose up from the ruins of a small keep that likely served as the main barracks and seat of local government.

A lone knight stood against it,  radiant light flowing off of her body.  A holy knight.  A Paladin.  Her sword glimmered,  catching the light of the dying sun as it set,  before it drove into the skull of the ogre.   It fell with a heavy thud,  crushing a wall of the keep.   It was surely slain.

The Paladin's faith shielding her from the wave of death that took the others,  she had survived so far.   Zombies of those she once likely knew clawing for her among the skeletons that swarmed around.   Her sword cleaved through them several at a time but she was overwelmed.   Almost overtaken before she vanished in a flash of light,  a line of shattering skeletons and severed limbs appearing in her wake,  reappearing a ways away with a stumble, a tattered cloak fluttering at her back from the move.

She was likely the captain of the guard here.  A position that might have once been seen as a disgrace,  a job the officials gave those they just wanted out of the picture for a time.   Akin to trash duty.     She was clearly capable none the less.   There would be far more where she came from soon as word spread of the undead and the falling of the wall.

Eris descended,  landing near the paladin who sundered a particularly nasty looking armored skeleton,  a flicker of radiance shining across the skeleton's chest before it's body crumbled into dust.

Eris clapped,  drawing her attention for a moment.  It was clear she already knew Eris was there.  She wasn't exactly subtle.  But she had other things to deal with until now, and still did,  cleaving through the skull of another undead warrior.

The undead backed up,  standing still,  even as the paladin kept carving through them for moments longer until she realized the situation and turned to Eris,  who walked closer.  Her white hair seemed almost ethereal in the way it flowed behind her,  as though partially still made of smoke like that which still steamed off her pale flesh and rather immodest attire.

"I think I'll keep you", she said.  The paladin was guarded,  holding her sword out defensively towards Eris.  But it meant little as Eris reached through a crack in the air and pulled.  Her hand appeared behind the woman and stole her off her feat, pulling her into Eris's arms in a firm grip despite her struggles.  Panick in her eyes while she resisted Eris's iron grip.

"Don't be so afraid.  One way or another, you'll enjoy a new life." Eris whispered almost tenderly, her cheek against hers.   Both of them vanishing through a crack in the air,  Eris whisking her captive off to attend to her accomodations.

Before long, though she took her time,  the white woman appeared again on the battlefields of pergrande.   The armies of sin had already met the next town in her absence.   Amused and curious eyes watching what happened next.   She would so love to spirit away more paladins to toy with.    Before the week was over or sooner, depending on the transport and response capabilities of the Pergrande army and the order of paladins,  she was sure to have her fill.

She might as well amuse herself,  this was all just a distraction regardless.

    -------------

2 Weeks after the destruction of the Great Wall of Pergrande

    -------------

The council chambers of the King of Pergrande, leading up to the Witches Throne, upon a set of stairs with a red carpet lined with gold. Sun beaming through stained glass. Easily thousands of miles from the Wall itself, upon high inside of Pergrande's Capital City.

The chambers roared as the banner lined throne room was more like a hall of vikings than a hall of lords at this moment, even the most powerful lords dressed dignified as they were screamed at one another, and cursed over frilled mustaches, red faces and bad attitudes.

Finally, the King of Pergrande would slam a single scepter into the ground; large eagle wings and an eagle on it. As he stood in his splendor of chainmail and furred cloak he would look across the hall, as the camera showed him up close. A worried yet, angered look upon his face. The echo of his scepter hitting the ground seemed to carry across the entire Throne Room, as the statues of Pergrande Kings past were shown. The head busts of them lining the far walls of the room, in the hundreds.

"Soon, we shall have a visitor. He is.....a heretic." the hall would murmer as people questioned why the King would invite someone into the hall who played with the natural order. To them, nothing was above the natural order. The way God made things was not meant to be changed or tampered with, magicians were evil, the devil, at their root, horrid. "He shall be arriving shortly."

Out of the thousands of cities and towns across Pergrande, this was the largest. As the camera panned over the capital city, the bell rung as an unnatural lightning bolt the size of a train billowed over the land slowly. In-slow motion, it passed over the raging frontlines of Sin, trebuchets and garrisons set up in silver and gold as far as the eye could see; Pergrande's 1st Army. Clashing with the Demon Hordes of Sin. Real time kicking back in as the camera spun all around this golden lightning bolt as if it were descending into camelot itself.

The golden bolt would slam down in front of the King of Pergrande's throne, causing mass panic, as smoke sizzled in front of the Throne obscuring vision. As the smoke cleared, a hooded figure was shown. Blue hair underneath.

The sound of massive amounts of weapons unsheathing was heard, as the man was surrounded on all sides by Paladins decked out in full plate mail. The King would raise a hand for theme to stand down, but they disobeyed, remaining close to the wizard with blades drawn.

As he lowered his hood, it was revealed to be a young man; with blue hair. Looking around; he would begin to talk with the King, as the Paladins nearby kept their blades on him. Finally however, they would stand down after the King shot them a look.

"Your grace." Heero would kneel and rise, as several ladies of the court whispered. Having heard rumor of the blue haired wizard, the magi who traveled the globe with miracles in his wake. Although he held no particular respect for the King. Especially not a king of a nation that wished to wipe his kind off the map, or worse. Literally, he held respect for the Throne. Any King deserved some form of respect.

"Speak wizard. I'm sure by now the entire world knows of our predicament. But we are not so weak as too need the help of one such as yourself." the crowd seemed to draw silent, as Heero would hold out a hand. His clothes slightly visible as his hand was exposed as he held it out.

"Indeed, I don't doubt your gaul. That wall has stood since before my daddy's daddy had an itch in his pants. However, none of those Kings were dealing with whatever destroyed that wall." Heero would clench his fist.

"I've already sent word to Ca-Elum, and Bellum. Fortunately I'm on good terms with both of those nations, unlike yourself your majesty." some of the knights grabbed a hold of their weapons at their hilts tightly at this comment; as they continued to stand down. The King nodded for Heero to go on. "I believe the wall can be re-made, even stronger than before. But first, we've gotta understand what destroyed it in the first place; so that when it's rebuilt by the Ca-Elum war smiths, and the Bellum magi; it won't be susceptible to it again." Heero finished as the crowd would begin to talk loudly, the King having to call for silence once more.

"And why in the Nine Hells would Ca-Elum or Bellum help us?" the King asked the billion jewel question; as both nations surely were on Pergrande's hitlist, especially Bellum.

"Monsters were unleashed upon the world....before the Wall was put up, they still inhabit every region of the world to this day...a Second Great Migration of Monsters and Demons would be catastrophic. The entire world is at stake, not just Pergrande. That wall needs to get fixed. Unless you're prepared for a 10,000 year war with the unending Legions of Sin and whatever took that wall down." he explained as negotiations would continue for some time. "I believe I can single handedly beat back the Demon Horde, long enough for reinforcements Ca-Elum and Bellum to both arrive and set up a new wall." secretly, Heero feared Bellum would betray them mid-operation for the chance to destroy Pergrande permanently, but he would have to put his fears aside for now.

    -----------------------------

    1 Week Later

    -----------------------------

The sound of metal ringing, and battle filled the air...

Heero stood now at the front lines, as the armies of Pergrande stretched for leagues in all directions. In front of him, Monster and Demon Hordes stretching out in the other direction into the volcanic nation of Sin.

"Now would be a good time as any Wizard!" one of the captain Paladins yelled as the wind blew over the sound of battle.

Heero would then walk forward scarf blowing behind him. As with a soft hum a golden outline would glow around him. His feet would come to a stop just short of a legion of hulking demons as his clothes and hair would move only ever so slightly as he continued to glow golden.

"So he's just going to glow a them? What the hell is the King thinking sending this guy out----" the eyes of the Paladin would widen as Heero would close his eyes and point one finger up at the sky.

With an even louder hum a huge Magic Circle would carve itself into the sky the size of which had probably not been seen in a millennia as the clouds swirled into a huge funnel the size of Godzilla, as a literal Meteor appeared; groaning it's way through the clouds and appearing over the Demonic Hordes that looked upward and went into a panic, as lightning and thunder boomed up above over the horde.

    True Heavenly Body Magick: Sema

The jaws of the Paladins of Pergrande literally dropped comically; as Pergrande's side began to cheer as the Meteor continued to drop slowly; Heero instructed the armies to fall back for impact, confusing them at first; but then as the wind picked up as the Meteor neared the ground. They understood. Ordering a full retreat as banners now flapped in the cataclysmic wind.

The camera would zoom out, showing Demons and Goblins alike running up close on camera was shown as the Meteor hit in the backdrop, in the center of the horde as a double flash went off in the distance. Boom! was shown; on camera as what looked like a nuke went off. A mile was flattened, as rubble was shown everywhere getting knocked back; and coated in dust. The final wave and explosion happened; as everything went white.

When vision returned, Demons were buried under huge chunks of rock, and the landscape on Sin's side was even more destroyed than it usually was. Heero stood as the armies of Pergrande ran up surrounding him, picking over the dead bodies of the now scattered legions. Who retreated further back into Sin; those who were still in one piece that is.

Heero narrowed his eyes, as he began to sense something off about the bodies littered about everywhere on the battlefield. Even bodies that were just a pair of arms sticking out from under a boulder...he could feel something odd about them. As if they were still enchanted. The hand under the boulder he was watching would twitch once, and then go limp; and the feeling of Magic from it would fade...as if the spell or whatever enchantment was on it had disappeared.

A sideways shot of him looking at the hand for a moment was shown; as he turned and headed solo toward the now Open lands of Sin.

"W...wait! The King said you were here to help! If you go wandering off into Sin! Who will---" Heero would look back at the Paladin as the crumbling wall of Pergrande was shown up ahead.

"Don't be foolish, I can be on another planet in an instant in a bolt of lightning if I so chose. Nothing will happen to me...I hope." Heero would smile and nod at the Paladin, telling him to give the King his regards before stepping forward toward Sin.

    -------------------

    1 Week Later

    -------------------

Heero stepped on an orge's skull as his foot was shown; the blood splattering up onto his face as the 20 foot tall creature went limp. Wearing nothing but his usual Slayer outfit, only decked out in the bones of Demons and Monsters as necklaces and gauntlets now.

His scarf blew in the wind, as he looked weary mentally in the eyes as he overlooked another mountanous cliff and valleys stretching until who knew where. He hadn't seen anything, or met anyone, a Dragon or anything like the reports. Someone capable enough to turn into one. Nothing that could have destroyed the great wall magically as the rumor had it. Just lava...rocks...and more rocks....and more volcanoes.

Heero with his new demon bone adornments would continue walking down a steep incline onto a flat one, into a valley filled with lava. He came to some kind of a fortress up ahead before long. He felt a dark energy from the place, and decided to head down into it's valley.

Just a special note:  This is all just for fun (And in an attempt for a fun read).  So some things will be ignored or assumed to have already occurred in preparation with the time skip.

    Lady Red

The fruitless efforts of Pergrande's Paladin order only served to slow the horde down somewhat.   When they finally showed up they set up barricades and fortifications several miles back from where the approaching hoard actually was,  giving them the opportunity to bulk their numbers up instead of filtering a hopeless flow of stragglers into the oncoming threat.

In doing so though they let the flood of the undead claim more and more territory until they finally met with the true frontlines,  clashing for real at last.  Bodies against bodies, steel against steel,  flesh against bone.  The undead hoard was literally fearless,  tireless.  Relentless.   Their terrifying visage making even the most veteran of Pergrande's forces shudder,  the minds of the human opposition itself being assaulted by the horrors.

Most of the human soldiers fell immediately,  their bodies falling limp and dead on the spot as the enemy approached.  Every fallen soldier rising again to turn on their brethren.   Only the holy paladins themselves held fast.   Leaving the cannon fodder to fall and only serve to bolster the armies of sin.    No normal mortal man could stand against them.

The Paladins were strong and capable warriors.   Wielding divine powers of their national god they managed to slow the hoard,   fighting for days without rest,  fighting a losing battle.    It became clear that the common man could not stand against the threat,  and word spread.   Fear struck the heart of the kingdom,  the soldiers of the army being re-utilized as a task force for building fortifications for the Paladins to fall back to,  and evacuating civilians and keeping peace among their own people.

Things were grim,  even as the entirety of the Paladin order stood against the tide.  It was almost like fighting the ocean itself.    It was not surprising then that they would reach out,  that others would reach out.   The stubborn and zealous nature of the Pergrande people was difficult to work with,  but in this time of need even they would start to think that working with other "Heretical" nations wouldn't be a bad idea.

    And so they did.

Eris watched herself unseen, unfelt,  unsensed, as the blue-haired mage of Fiore spoke with the king.  Not that she could see natural colors, but the flames that etched themselves across his being told her all she needed to know.  The room was in chaos,  and she loved every minute of it.   While the vast majority of Pergrande's forces fought on the warzone,  Eris stalked the capitol city itself.

Searching for something.  Looking where no one should,   Eris knew what she wanted.  She knew it was here, in this city.    The source of Pergrande's divine connection.    She would find it sooner or later.  Her vision was obscured this city,  her influence limited.  The walls of the castle and other important structures were blessed,  consecrated by holy forces.   It was problematic.   And why she needed her distraction.  The worlds greatest distraction,  war.   Harsh,  futile,  hopeless war.

"I believe I can single handedly beat back the demon horde"  Eris laughed to herself.  She could read his magic.  She could see into his soul.   This dragon slayer,  this little lightning bug,  would think to oppose her.  He didn't seem all too full of conviction.  Confidence in himself, sure.  But she doubted he cared about this nation.  He was after something else.  Ulterior motives.

She'd find out later.   In the mean time there was no way in the slightest she would allow that wall to by some miracle get repaired.  It wouldn't even make a difference at this point,  as great trenches were carved through the earth past the hole.   A network of tunnels spreading along as the army pushed.

Coast to coast this war raged.   It was not some petty squabble that would be ended by an individual.  Only Eris herself held that power,  as even now the onslaught was slowed to a halt.   The Paladins finally managing to secure a solid frontline.   A task that one would imagine impossible,  as with every mile the undead pushed forward the more land there was for the limited paladins to cover,  and the seemingly limitless undead to fill.

By their merit?  No.  It was hers.  By her command the flow had slowed.  Her distraction was at hand,  to push any further would draw the sword of a dozen other nations,  nations that as-is would have their hands at their sides ready to draw,  ready to respond whether grande wanted it or not.

The current warzone would remain,  a scar on the land for generations to come if she had her way.   But Eris was not interested in pressing further.   It served her purpose.  prideful it was on her now.   But for now,  she had to ensure her plans wont be interrupted too much.

In the red laboratory of her workspace,  Eris chanted a mysterious tune in a language unknown to Earthland.   Light from candles fading around the ceremony chamber,  flesh writhing on the walls and floor in response to the dark energies at work.

Fire gushed from her eyes and spilled out from her chest,  cracks appearing in her body to pour flame onto the altar before her and sear an ancient glyph into the ground around her.   The fire scurging even her own essence  as the fires spun themselves into a small sphere no larger than a pea.  Slowly,  the flame merged back into her body,  priming her for the future.

She wanted that artifact.  She would find it.  Eventually.

The conflict raged on,  seemingly held at bay by the great frontline that had formed,  holy paladins standing firm.   They were barely holding on,  let alone having the opportunity to push forward.    Lone knights glowing with holy radiance in shining armor challenging flesh-less wyverns of bone,  horned skeletal giants,  or carving at dozens of undead warriors at a time.

That opportunity to push,  to fight back seriously, might have came sooner than they anticipated though,  or so it had seemed.

Eris witnessed herself through the eyes of her skeletons the blue-haired man finally come into play.  It had been a week now with little activity from the man, until now.  He finally showed up,  glowing with magic burning off of him whispering to Eris the nature of his power,  the magic that he worked with.   Ribbons of arcane power weaving themselves together around the man,  trailing upwards... to the sky...  Where another weave was forming,  intertwining themselves with the elements of the world.

Physically,  the Paladins weren't too far off from this man.  But the paladins were restricted,  limited to their divine prayers and the strength of their blades.   This man was not,  he wielded his magic like a hammer.

A hammer that was forming in the sky.

As the meteor fell,  Eris worked her own magics.  Every skeleton in the army of Sin caught flame,  white bones turning black.   A demonic wailing sounded and a roar was heard that shook the earth and sent many paladins into a fear-driven panick.

With the meteor parting the clouds,  falling in a blaze,  a colossal being burst out from the earth itself like an Arch-fiend of hell itself.   Like a dark god the four-armed demon blazed, flying through the air with fire trailing in its wake.    It couldn't be certain whether the roar came from the powerful jet of fire traveled on or the ferocious horned skull of the being itself.

Like Atlas holding the Earth,  the demon,  the Savage Warden of hell,  of Purgatory, collided with the meteor with it's four great limbs.   It's massive size meeting the celestial object with ease.    Clawed hands broke into the surface as fire met fire,  and with another earth-shaking howl the demon hurled the meteor off course,  sending it plummeting with a new target in mind;  The blue haired mage of Fiore.   And by extension,  the paladins that were attempting to back up to better cover.

The demon itself remained with the object itself,  a titanic burst ignited it's body as an inferno took it, sending the two careening towards the earth primed to slam into the mage and the paladins with apocalyptic force.

    Post by Haru-senpai 11th March 2016, 9:01 am

The frontlines raged on, as Heero would look up at the Meteor, a slight golden glow humming around him. However, mere moments before impact; something very large; small in comparison to the Meteor itself; but large enough compared to it that everyone or anyone could tell the being was large as hell. It had four arms, and burned like wildfire. Some hulk of hell.

Heero would only cross his arms and furrow his brow as the being altered the course of Sema. It now plummeted toward the Pergrande side of the conflict without mercy.

"Oh?" his eyes would fleck downward across the battlefield; as the monsters and demons seemed to ignite with hellfire; some of their features turning black. Creating quite the scene as the meteor fell above; the meteor itself was easily a mile in diameter. He was honestly surprised the thing was strong enough to tilt it off it's original course at all. "I might actually need to get charged up for this...." he smiled to himself. "If only that were enough." Heero said toward the hulking behemoth, the Savage Warden. He would narrow his eyes at it, as it rode the Meteor; Sema towards earth. He would the turn and face the direction of Pergrande's Capitol, thousands of miles away. The source of this enchantment; of this being, was coming from that direction.

Heero would smile in the direction of the source; as if he was looking right into the eyes of the person responsible.

"That was clever...what have you done to your little minions? They're all on fire...even a child knows to take better care of their toys...ha, well don't mind if I break em...I'm sure you have more where they came from right? I could be there in just a strike of lightning, but for now I'll enjoy myself." as he said this, Lightning would begin to leap off of Heero, and smack the ground all around him. A massive thunderstorm undertook the entire area, as golden lightning bolts the size of trains began to smack the ground all around Heero. Eventually leagues were covered in a huge thunderstorm; as near him, lightning whipped and whirled around as if Zeus himself was angry. Everything on metal the battlefield electrified, and began to float; sparkling every so often with golden colored lightning. Weapons, armor, you name it; objects magnetized and hovered oddly as Heero continued to build power.

    Lightning Dragon's Mega Current

In a flash, Heero would hop out of a lightning bolt that rocketed upward from the ground toward the falling Meteor. Appearing out of the bolt, his scarf still in the wind. As all the weapons below that were hovering crashed back down to the earth. The lightning storm in the area would smack and skitter across the surface of the falling Meteor, and even around the Savage Warden. Although it appeared to be harmless. All it did was cause the entire comet and the Warden to sparkle with yellow electricity every now and then. Heero would put a hand on the comet as it supercharged even more with lightning.

    Lightning Dragon's Charge

Heero then rocketed down as a bolt of Lightning once more, straight into the Demon Horde. As he hit the ground as a giant bolt of Lightning; he looked rather normal, no lightning aura on; merely a huge mega current following him that immediately skittered off of him and struck the weapons in the Demon Hordes hands. Their weapons began to float as Heero laughed comically at the large circle forming around him. Infuriated, the Demons would charge him on all sides as the camera shook like Dynasty Warriors; spinning all around Heero and zooming up to his eyes which would pulse Slayer Red once.

    Lightning Dragon's Swap

As two gigantic blasts of Lightning struck in different locations, hitting both both Heero, and the falling Meteor in the sky; their locations were swapped. Heero was now mid-air, and the falling meteor? Reappeared out of it's bolt of lightning with the Savage Warden still holding onto it, as he contained a charge he was also swapped. Right onto the ground. As if some trick by the Thunder Gods.

The troops of Pergrande were in utter awe at this point; and hysteria. The demon horde going up in hellfire and fighting with new ferocity; a gigantic meteor appearing out of thin air; then a gigantic hellfire hulk appearing from seemingly Hell itself grabbing it with four arms and driving it toward them; then from their point of view; a gigantic blast of lightning seemed to strike the falling Meteor out of nowhere; causing it to disappear.

A huge apocalyptic impact would go off, as the Meteor could not be moved or altered again as it would impact the moment of the swap; Heero would float mid-air, nothing holding him up as gravity began to kick in. But just as it did; the impact of the Meteor pushed him higher up into the air from below; as the double flash; and wave in all direction for easily miles on miles went off from the center of the Demon Horde as a gigantic wave of dust went easily five miles in every direction accompanied by a blast of wind that was beyond anything most had ever seen.

As Heero would reappear in a huge blast of lightning that hit the ground on the frontlines; the Demon Horde would be in total disarray and chaos as Heero pounded a hand into his fist.

"Alright, captain. Tell your troops to follow the Lightning." he said as he had a hand pounded into his fists, the frontlines raging. Wind still billowing smoke easily thousands of feet into the skies from the impact of Sema within the Demon Horde. Still dazzled from the giant mile wide meteor that had been zapped out of existence, along with the giant Demon riding it; the captain saluted Heero and ran off to the front lines, hyping them up; as the cavalry neared him to raise morale; riding their horses as banners flew high.

As 'Charge!!!' rung through the air; Heero would run forward at the front of the Pergrande Army, as the Calvary's horses began to catch up behind him. Heero would be coated in electricity with a sound like a transformer exploding, and in a loud whistle that split sound for miles around; he took off ahead of the army, sprinting with his arms swinging as weapons electrified on his way past as the camera showed him zooming by with only a jogging animation in a flash of lightning. As he smiled, and dipped down into a full arm pumping run; he reached the Demon Horde as left to right all he could see were bodies, fangs, gigantic skeletons with horns, and off in the distance, he saw the Savage Warden.

Rising in slow-mo body parts falling off of it from Sema's impact, but far from defeated.

He would leap forward out of a lightning bolt; with an elbow right into the exposed ribcage of one of the gigantic black skeletons on fire; in slow-mo it shattered apart, flailing for it's weapon that flew out of it's hand as Heero slid to a halt as it's bones clanked apart in different directions loudly over the war like noise around him. The Demons would relent not only for a moment as a giant lightning bolt cut randomly into the middle of their army and felled a frankly rather tall flaming skeleton.

As they closed in all around him, Heero would smile, lowering his head as slow-mo kicked in all around him once more. He would humor these demons on the battlefield out of respect instead of annihilating everything within a league once more as he'd just done.

"Come we shall fight as equals, let's see how souls tormented square off against a Dragon." he said, declaring that he wouldn't use any spells for now.

As a Demon neared him with a gigantic spiked mace, Heero would swivel past it as the Demon recklessly clocked three of his allies to the side, likely killing them. Heero would then dip forward and leap up onto the Demon, grabbing the inside of it's fanged mouth and ripping it's head clean off of his shoulders, spine and all. Holding up it's head on it's body that now spurted blood, Heero would hold up it's head in primal fashion with it's spine still attached; Heero would balance on it's shoulders as it stood for a moment and unleash an actual roar like a Dragon.

As the camera zoomed out, soundwaves shook everything from the battlefield, to the furthers mountains in Sin, all the way to Pergrande's Capitol. As people in the streets looked up, as if a Dragon; a real one, of fabled lore had returned from the history books. As the camera zoomed back down into Heero as his roar ended, he would cast the skull aside as Demons grunted for a moment as if recognizing something, the undead however were unrelenting and charged as Heero stepped off of the large creatures body that fell behind him.

A single punch knocked a skeleton into nothing as flames and ash were shown at it being vanquished, within a split second, he leapt forward into a crowd of undead that tried to hack at him with weapons as he past them; however they were electrified and magnetized away from Heero, as their own weapons flew back away from them as he skidded to a halt in front of a crowd of skeletons. Grabbing two, he knocked their exposed skulls together in another explosion of bone and embers.

A gigantic Troll easily forty feet tall came running through the skeletons, even stomping on them to get them out of the way in it's rage to get toward Heero. As he raised an eyebrow; he would step forward, baring his Slayer Fangs that seemed more pronounced as his eyes turned red as he let out a roar and stepped into the troll who threw a punch downward right at him.

As their fists impacted, the monsters skeleton actually flew out of the back of it's body as blood and the rest of it's body exploded backward, showering like rain as Heero moved through the blood rain, turning into a train sized bolt of lightning and electrifying the blood as it hit the ground stylishly. Within moments he had already covered thousands of feet, as a huge golden lightning bolt ripped through the horde once more. A giant skeleton was shown being cleaned in half in slow-mo by a huge train sized bolt from the side.

From afar, the battlefield would look like gigantic golden thunderbolts were smacking down from the heavens periodically around Heero; as it seemed Zeus himself were throwing bolts down. Every now and then, a giant lightning bolt would move sideways through the legions; tossing Demons up into the air by the hundreds or thousands depending on how far Heero had traveled.

Heero would skid to a halt again, hopping out of a Lightning bolt in a different section of the army this time in front of the Savage Warden. He would actually turn on his own Lightning Aura; as golden Lightning would spring off of him, Laxus style; sparkling and hitting the ground near him like DBZ as the yellow lightning continued to flash wildly.

Across from Heero, the undead and the monsters seemed to make a giant circle around Heero and the Savage Warden as Heero would smile at it, a sideways shot of him shown with his Lightning Aura around him; some of the lightning comically hitting weapons and metal objects in the hands of Demons in the circle as random lightning skipped around, causing them to drop them.

The Hulking Behemoth of Fire seemed to look back at him, Heero wondered if the wizard in question could see him through it. He would look like a torrent of unnatural lightning gathering if so. Within a moment; a literal flash would go off as Heero as a Lightning bolt would clean the Savage Warden in the chest at speeds that could not be clocked.

    Golden Lotus: Flashing Thunder King

The bolt of lightning would roll forward and then crest upward into the Heavens as Heero appeared carrying the Savage Warden by it's flaming chin as they entered the clouds. Which unnaturally began to whirl around the streaking bolt of Lightning through the air, that was gone off of the horizon in the blink of an eye.

Like cotton candy, the clouds would begin to chase after the bolt of lightning; catching up unnaturally as lightning began to rain down like a Machine Gun from the clouds that moved at the speed of lightning.

From afar it would look like the Balrog itself was being carried inside of clouds; with the sound of thunder and lightning flashing inside of the clouds. The beast was fryed in splashes of skin and lava; as it beat on Heero with it's arms as the Slayer continued to carry it by it's underjaw inside of the clouds. The camera spun all around them as unnatural lightning peppered away at the thing inside of the clouds; as they returned down from the heavens in a streaking storm of clouds leaving a trail behind them as Pergrande soldiers pointed up above the battlefield. A final blast of lightning would strike the Savage Warden directly in the face after it's entire body was peppered a final time; cleaning it's head from it's shoulders right off of Heero's fist, as from Heero's point of view; they came rumbling out of the clouds behind the Savage Warden as the lightning stopped smacking the Warden from all around him within the clouds; two gigantic armies were now visible below him; with huge craters here and there smoking within the Demon Horde from his lightning impacts.

From within the streaking clouds booming with Thunder, Heero appeared out of it with a huge wisp effect as the clouds parted; the Warden flying out of it headless as it's flaming head tumbled in a different direction; the flames around it and it's eyes extinguishing dramatically as it fell lifeless becoming nothing but ash as it fell, it's body falling apart and disassembling as it tumbled from the clouds, as Heero's spell ended.

"Hope that trip was more pleasant than your ride on the Meteor...although I bet they both hurt." the armies of Pergrande at last reached the Demon Horde proper as their shields and armor were shown from the sides clashing with them in a mighty wave. "Looks like the cavalry has arrived....maybe I should get back to the capital."

Heero ran through the waves of battle, best he could; spotting a captain he'd seen before as he ran through a Demon from behind with his longsword, holy armor and cap flapping in the breeze of battle. As he spotted Heero, they ran up to one another.

"You really let into em wizard! The 1st Battalion saw that giant....HELLION jump that Meteor you made appear...it almost hit us with it...but then a big lightning bolt hit it and it was gone; reappeared over the horde again in a flash and then boom! Lightning was everywhere! I've never seen anything like it! It was like a storm carved through the horde!!! We hadn't even charged yet!" Heero told the man his plan, as he turned his Lightning Aura off while near him so that Lightning didn't zap into his armor or any of the nearby Pergrande Knights.

"I'm headed back to the capitol for now, you guys let them have it! Push them all the way back into their damn homeland if you can!" the Pergrande Paladin promised to lead his knights well, as he was given his horse by a Knight; hopping up on it and offering Heero a horse for his journey back to the capital. "No...it may sound crazy to you but back home I actually have a flying cat that flies me around...any other transporation makes me afraid..as hell. Beautiful horse though." Heero would step back from the Pergrande Captain and salute him as a huge amount of Lightning gathered around Heero and in an instant a giant bolt of lightning rocketed off straight upward parting the clouds above as the bolt arced and rocketed towards the capitol city of Pergrande, thousands of miles away as the bolt was shown rocketed over the plains and many towns toward the city.

    -----------------------

    15 Seconds Later

    -----------------------

Heero would smack the ground in front of the Palace as he lurched forward and threw up blood from the pounding the Savage Warden had given his ribcage and back during their mid-air flight while the storm struck at him; as Paladins and Palace guard instinctively raised their weapons at a guy appearing out of a giant yellow lightning bolt on the steps of the palace; they lowered their weapons when they recognized the wizard as the guest of the king.

Heero swayed to the right; grabbing his head and woozily shaking off the pain he felt around his body. Covered in blood, literally it stained his clothes the Paladins asked how things fared on the frontlines as they moved to open the Palace Gates.

".......It's hell out there." Heero said as he balled up his fists and walked, his arms at his side as his blood stained scarf and visage swooped past the two paladins as a wizard crossed through the Front Gates of the Palace for the first time in over six or seven millennia. The capital city was relatively peaceful, and due to the vastness of Pergrande; although war was raging, most of the nation wasn't really feeling the effects of the war yet. As birds flew from clock towers and people shopped in market places across the country; especially in the capitol.

As Heero walked through the palace, past windows. He kept his fists balled up, as the battlefield flashed on his mind. Some of the beasts he'd seen out there...they weren't normal. Instead of wiping them all out with a Lightning Dragon's Roar like he should've he'd let his Dragon Rage consume him once again. He thought on his folly as knights and Paladins alike murmered and talked as he past. Never had they seen a wizard walk through the palace like this, so it was natural. He knew his way to the throne room.

As he entered, the large doors clicked and everyone in the room stopped talking. Mumbling at the most as they inspected his state. Walking up the long ornate carpet to the Throne once more; he knelt, covered in blood from head to toe; some of the blood not even dry as he'd used Magic to travel inside of lightning instantaneously back to the Capitol.

"What news from the frontlines wizard." the King said; looking even more ornate than he had the last time Heero saw him weeks ago before he left for the frontlines.

"Your majesty, it would be as nothing for me to destroy every monster in Sin, I've but used a small portion of my power and I can tell this; although I am from a far away nation; I can tell you this in all honesty." he stood from his kneel. Wincing a bit. "However, it is not only the monstrosities, native to Sin that you face." he motioned to himself as the room seemed to draw even more silent. "As I was primed to destroy the Horde; some kind of beast appeared, it was larger than a mansion; and interfered. I also saw the walking dead, and skeletons, some taller than houses; and Demons straight out of hell. All aflame with hellfire, your grace."

The Queen of Pergrande spoke up, having been overcome with lust since Heero had arrived, the King never could bed her properly in his older age.

"You have fought valiantly foreign wizard....perhaps even given us a fighting chance...but let's remember. If all is as you say....it is Magic that prevented you from leading us to absolute victory in one fell swoop; correct?" she spoke, her pink lips parting and sealing with a raise of an eyebrow from her soft yet model esque features.

With a nod, Heero would look to her then back to the King and then the ground.

"Yes, powerful Magic. At least as powerful as my own." coming from someone who could have frozen the entire battlefield in time or erased it from existence with a flick of his wrist, the entire room began to talk now. That was impossible. People had heard of the master of Fairy Tail's power even as far as Pergrande. If something or someone could make things difficult for even him; this was a serious invasion. "It gets worse I'm afraid...I think the wizard in question is already in the Capitol somewhere. You must be vigilant your majesty." he stood, and turned to exit the throne room.

"Where are you going now?" the Queen asked, as Heero stopped walking with a confused look; back to the Throne.

"Let's not forget...you people put people like me on the chopping block; and watch their heads hit the ground, eyes lifeless...how many wizards eyes have you looked into without their body m'lady? For fun? On your daily Pergrande balcony spectacles for the throne....I know about your wizard slave pits....and worse." the King would stand and slam his scepter into the ground; as Paladins drew their weapons on Heero. "Oh? After giving you a fighting chance on the Frontlines...this is the thanks I get...I suppose I'm just another witch or wizard to ya after all."

The King would blink, realizing his folly and raise a hand as the Paladins lowered their weapons; sheathing them.

"I apologize....and I never thought I'd say this but. Will you remain in our Capitol for now? As a security measure. If the monsters of Sin are under some kind of magical influence as you say; and the one responsible might be here then....perhaps the Light alone shall not be enough to stop this foe." several shouts of 'what!' and 'absurd!' came from everywhere as the King went against generations of tradition and now not only had asked a wizard for help in battle, but was asking one to protect the Royal Family.

".........I'll think about it. On my way out." Heero added coldly, as he knew even if he helped them through this troubled time; Pergrande would not change it's ways, and most among them; from their brutal military to their average civilian; would torture and gut even a screaming child if that child had magic. Helping them have a fighting chance had only been so that the wall could be reconstructed. However, for some reason he was beginning to feel inclined to let whatever wizard was doing this lead her Demon Horde to victory, and sit right on the throne of Pergrande.

Although, he also thought of the sensless blood that would be spilled along the way to the capitol if he didn't help. How many doors would be kicked in by goblins and trolls, women raped by demons, children put on spikes on their way to the capitol? Pergrande was a huge nation after all.

Conflicted, Heero walked; clothes still covered in blood as the throne room doors closed dramatically behind him. A disappointed looking King and furious Queen shown upon it; as it closed as she wanted Heero for a plaything later that evening. He walked silently through the castle as everything began to grow quiet around him.

    Spoiler:

    Lady Red

Paladins panicked and cried out in pain as they looked upon the demon,  fear and horror radiating out from it and their own holy artifacts seemed to wail and tremble at the weight of the evil that was present.  A blasphemous abomination that should not be capable of walking the earth,  risen up from the deepest depths of an unholy existence in Purgatory.   Some of the knights falling dead,  others clutching their skulls and starting to bleed from their ears and tears of blood fell from their eyes.    The lightning mage himself was not above being struck with this intense warping of the mind that harmed the very psyche itself.  Though with his power he may well easily shrug it off as simple damage and carry on,  many paladins were not so fortunate.

The titanic demon was more than a match for the meteor,  striking into the meteor and altering its course with no visible strain or effort on its part.   The large chunk of rock was big,  but so was the titan-demon.   It was like a giant boulder in its four arms,  the meteor pivoting in place with the demon gripping it until it was on top,  not missing a beat,  the meteor itself momentarily suspended in air as it's kinetic energy was diverted into this loop,  it was then that the Warden burst forward with doubled speed to send the meteor careening towards the earth.

Eris did not throw everything into the idea that this might work.  Eris had seen the lightning mage first hand and she witnessed his very soul.  Watched the way he shot over the land on bands of electricity.  She was ready for when the mage started crackling with his lightning.  He would not be able to sense her in the slightest,  being shielded against such things.  Her magic flowing off from her creations themselves,  an ancient awareness and primordial awareness hiding behind each of the flood of undead gazes that looked on.

Before he could perform any action,  the world seemed slowed to her eyes,  the Warden reacted
in the same instant.   Two powerful fists cocking back,   every thing seemed to play out in slow motion.  The tendrils of lighting,  the movement of the arms,  crunching of fists as hard exoskeleton ground against itself.    Then the piston-like slam as the fists struck with an intense burst of speed,  flames rocketing from it's joints and the meteor caved in at its feet touch.

The crater just did not stop,  a ripple of indentation spread across the surface as the central cavity kept getting deeper, glowing with heat and blackening along the wave as the meteor started to take a more crescent shape.  Fire surged throughout,  fissures tearing themselves through the massive object from the opposite side as Heero neared.   By the time he would be close enough and his lightning starting to lick the surface,  the meteor exploded outwards.   A storm of flaming micro-meteors pummeling into and past Heero,   devastating the frontlines of undead and paladins alike.

The Warden itself was still there,  surging forward like a missile through the shattered meteor bursting through with its four arms spread wide,  fists blazing as it continued its warpath and charging into the lightning mage that shot up off the ground perhaps intending to stop or re-redirect his hijacked meteor,  but it was too late for that now.

Down below,  the undead horde continued to push forward unphased,  unrelenting,  and clashed with the paladins who had started to back up at his word.   It was only so many of them,  as the great frontlines stretched from horizon to horizon and beyond,  extending far beyond the sight and reach of those present.   It was a war effort,  and not a lone battlefield.

The bone weapons of the undead horde clashed against the glistening holy steel of the paladin order all across the multitude of battle sites across the new Sin-Pergrande border,   the territory thus far claimed by the hordes of Sin,  by Eris.   All the while the demonic titan and the crackling lightning mage hovered in the air above one of the many clashing armies.

Crashing through the meteor only seemed to frenzy the Warden,  in slow motion as the beast tore through the storm of meteorites blue flames mixed with the red,  bone growths sprouting from its body forming more spikes,  spines and a set of wings.   Its arms buldged as it grew noticeably larger,  and even more fearsome.   Its two fisted bottom-limbs seemed to stretch further out to the sides while the upper two arms were cocked back and blazing ready to slam its fists and knuckle-spikes into the mage,  each fist dwarfing him like as a human dwarfs an ant. Each one blazing with flame.  A hidden secret lying in wait within them.

Each one powering through the air like bullets.

Meanwhile the lower two hands were no longer fisted,  but the clawed fingers curled out and from the fires that burned seemed to appear one skull.  Two skulls.  Three skulls.   In each hand clusters of skulls were forming like piles.  They were the size of normal skulls,  minuscule and insignificant compared to the size of the demon.   But each one sinister and radiating malevolence.

All occurring within the same moment,  the two lower arms now threw themselves forward,   intent on casting the six skulls screaming into the lightning mage.   But.  Hitting him would merely be a bonus.   Each of the skulls unhinged their jaws and screamed like a banshee,  an ear-bleeding cry that seemed to freeze one's heart and seize them with fear and terror (More horror exposure.  Since they're all the same,  they wont stack until used again later separate from the others).

Even if they missed the mage,  the screams were still there.   Shrieking as they shot into or simply past him and struck paladins below,  the soul-rending screams causing more fear and panic,  leaving men trembling.  Some paralyzed with fear.  Others merely shaken.    On a hit though,  these skulls would slam into them,  caving in their armors and cratering into their chest like cannonballs,  the fires blazing around them melting steel and igniting flesh.

After the demon got its punches through,  its skulls fired,   if given the opportunity (And space/clearance) without dropping its guard, looming with a slight twitchiness to it as though it could barely contain some overwhelming desire to move and to fight,   it would speak in the loud booming voice matching its stature and demonic nature.

"MAGE. HEERO.  HERETIC IN THE EYES OF THOSE YOU DEFEND.  MONSTER EVEN AS I TO THEIR ZEAL.  WHY. DO. YOU.  FIGHT.   SHOULD YOU NOT TURN YOUR IRE ON THOSE WHO WOULD EXECUTE YOUR KIND IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY.  SHOULD YOU NOT MAKE THEM TREMBLE BEFORE YOU.   EVEN NOW THEY FEAR YOUR MAGIC.  THEY. FEAR. OUR. POWER.  EVEN NOW THEY CONTINUE TO KILL YOUR KIND IN THIS TIME OF UNDOING, AS YOU STAND THERE AGAINST ME YOUR KIND SUFFERS, NOT AT MY HAND, BUT AT THEIRS.  YET YOU FIGHT WITH THEM.  YOU FIGHT FOR THEM.  WITH NOTHING TO GAIN.  WITH EVERYTHING TO LOSE."  Eris spoke through the demon as though she were there herself.  Forceful,  commanding.  Ancient,  and knowing.  Eris could see the workings of his heart.  Her words were crafted with awareness,  and using language that Heero of Fairy Tail would identify with.

Her own voice cut through the words,  sounding like an echo behind the rough infernal tongue of the demon itself.  Two voices working as one.  That of a colossal demon,  and that of a woman.  The rough powerful voice of the fiend,  and the softer inquisitive voice of Eris herself.  She could see the potential in him,  the potential for darkness.  The potential that he may be persuaded to Eris's own side.  At the very least perhaps save her the unnecessary effort in killing him.  Though she would love to have that body of his for her own uses.  This was one individual however who may be easier to convince and coerce into working with her than someone who would be better off slain and reanimated.

"LET THEM TASTE OF YOUR MAGIC.  OR BUT TURN YOUR BACK TO THESE ZEALOTS,  AND CONVINCE THE LEADERS OF YOUR PEOPLE TO FOLLOW YOUR EXAMPLE.  PERGRANDE WILL FALL.  YOUR KIND UNCHAINED.  IN THE ASHES TO COME THEY WILL FIND THEIR FREEDOM AS THEIR OPPRESSORS BURN.  STAND AGAINST ME,  AGAINST YOUR OWN...AND YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME."  Eris's voice cracked through as the dominate tone in the end,  blue flames flickering across the demon's face.   Burning runes flickered in the air in a circle around the demon's head,  a language without words.  Each flicker of a new symbol adding to the message, filling Heero's mind with pure understanding and thought.   Visions of Eris's words, shifting and sudden,  coming in flashes.   A crumbling pergrande capitol,  a black haired woman in a red dress sitting on the throne,  one foot raised resting on the corpse of the king.   A fire in her eyes.   An army of bone standing on a border that Heero instinctively would know to be Bellum.   Iceburg.  Minstrel.  Midi.  Fiore.  Each one flashing in place of the last.  But just as they seemed poised to cross the border,  it showed Heero standing beside the black-haired queen over an uncountable number of pergrande knights,  and the army turned,  marching back away from the border and back into Pergrande.  Chains were broken,  nooses were cut,  pyres put out as magical creatures and mages,  a woman and a child,   free of their fates.

But another flash,  light was gone.  The world was red,  fires raged.   The mother seen moments before now beheaded,  her child thrown to a fire.  A war raged on,  demons, monsters, and the undead tearing into knights clad in armor and steel.   Over head the blue haired mage fought with a great dragon-like being of bone and fire while suffering continued beneath them.  Then silence,  as Fairy Tail Guild Hall faded in.  Darkness loomed around it as it and the city around it started to catch aflame,  a great skull coming into view from behind the hall,  jaw wide open as it swallowed the guild whole.   The vision cutting out as the jaw slammed shut over the building.   Leaving Heero and the demon there,  no time having passed from the visions,  left with an omen.

    ///////////////

    Meanwhile.

Here it was at last.   Like a shadow an inky black smoke flowed down an old stone corridor,  torch sconces lining the walls unlit.   An ancient tunnel, hidden and out of sight.  She found it beneath the throne itself.  The "Witch Throne".  Twisting down on a slight slope it spiraled down to where Eris now moved.

A heavy stone door thick with magical wards might have blocked the progress of most individuals,  but Eris could see the weave of magic that guarded the way.  A similar weave to that of the Great Wall itself.  Unraveling the magic by hand,  Eris continued through into the spacious room beyond.

//Before Returning to the capital city of the Pergrande Kingdom//

Heero stood; alone with the Demon as he leaked blood from a bad cut at the top of his head, several other wounds burned with some kind of hellfire as blood leaked down from off of them; even one of his eyes and his lip seemed to be bleeding. A testament to the power of the being he stood across from; who also like Heero looked like it was falling apart from their intense battle. One could hit Heero in the face with a steel bat and the bat would probably bend; so the fact that this thing had actually managed to wound him had given him some respect for the wizard involved with it. He wrestled with Dragons, so in fact; their conflict had stirred something in him.

He listened to it's words; as they were far now from the battlezone. Runes seemed to float around it, and in front of it's twitching head as it spoke. Questioning his loyalties. Each Rune would expand in hellfire, and give him a different vision. Not a rookie wizard, Heero let this happen; understanding what was going on so as not to lose himself in the visions. Each rune was different, a complex enchantment; he'd give it that. As the final rune showed him a vision of Fairy Tail being swallowed up; as Magnolia went up in flames; he would furrow his brow a bit.

Crossing his arms as the sound of the Savage Warden's flames from it's body were all that was faintly heard, Heero would approach it, arms still crossed as his scarf blew in the wind. Behind him.

He could fly the stars, bring down planets, manipulate time, erase Magic itself if he so pleased; and yet here he was, questioning his own judgement in the face of this....enchantment.

"You've shown me two very different things." he said as he looked up into the eyes of the beast. "You see, the Lichborne; a wizard just as powerful as yourself, a mighty Necromancer indeed once tried his hand at Magnolia, at my Guild. Even conjured a bigass tornado of souls that reached the sky..." Heero would then open his arms, and eyes uncrossing them. "And even he fell before me....I've only used but a fraction of my power, you see I'm in love with battle, and this Spell of yours is a hell of a sparring partner."

Heero would comically pat the Savage Warden on it's leg twice, as flames leaped off both times in a double sizzle; Heero looked at his hand as it was red hot and sizzling with some kind of magic.

"Damn can't you turn the flames off for a civil conversation?!" Heero fanned his hand comically as the flames went, out, crossing his arms again. "Indeed, together we could probably destroy them. Although this is but a fraction of their army as well....the country itself is bigger than the next four put together....they are legion." Heero stated holding a hand out to his side, as his bloody clothes, face, and arm seemed to add too the charm of the conversation as he stood just in front of the Savage Warden.

"Stella will not stand idly by, the Dwarves are not affected by Magic, and their weapons are even more resistant to Magic than Pergrande's. The northmen of Iceburg also will not likely stand by idly and watch their neighbor be destroyed. Their wizard population is negligible. They will stand with Pergrande. As will Ca-Elum, who also does not have a magical population. The Blacksmiths of the Volcanic Island nation have crafted nearly every weapon of lore in the history books, even the Witch Blade of Pergrande, and the Guildmaster of Infinity Hydra's sword." Heero rubbed a bloody hand on his chin as he thought across from the huge Demon towering over him.

"And don't even get me started on what Bosco will do...." although the tecnologically advanced nation usually never dropped their energy shield for fear of their technology getting out, or someone they didn't want getting in; they would not stand by as legions of regular humans were slaughtered or conquered. They had a strong alliance with Pergrande, and likely already knew of the situation here. Although Pergrande had elected not to use the technology Bosco offered, and shunned them away; saying that their technology was 'tainted with witchcraft and magic'; they were at the end of the day, two nations of regular humans.

Ca-Elum, Pergrande, and Bosco combined, along with possibly the Vikings of Iceburg if the very few Shaman Elders of the north couldn't convince the Tribe Leaders otherwise....it would be a nearly unstoppable force with Ca-Elum's navy involved as well as Bosco and Pergrande. The Vikings also fought with ferocity unseen.

"We would face a lotta opposition.....although with Seven on our side, we may pull it off....my great great great great Grandmother is the Queen of Seven, the oldest elf in existence. She has been wanting to destroy Pergrande for eons." Heero would think to himself on the decision before turning his back on the Savage Warden.

"I won't be helping Pergrande anymore...have at those assholes." he would say as his scarf blew in the wind. With his back turned. "But I am on my way now to tell the King how screwed he is....I may even tell him to go f*** himself." he smirked back at the Savage Warden as some blood leaked from above down his face around his eye.

With a salute to the being he would rocket off in a golden bolt of lightning even larger than the Warden, that rocketed upward and off into the skies. He just hoped some of the visions he was shown weren't possible futures and only part of the enchantment used to convey a point.

// Present after the Audience with the King //

Heero sat in the Hospital of Pergrande City, all taped up he patted his ribs that were covered in tape; along with one of his arms down to his hand. The doctor would scold him as he shook his head. Having left the castle and actually for once sought out medical aid after that battle with that thing.

Even steel usually broke against him, so he was very surprised at it's strength. The doctor couldn't believe he was treating an actual wizard, and never thought he would. He told Heero that most of the bones weren't broken amazingly, as with that amount of force hitting muscle a normal person would've been snapped in half. He then remembered that Heero in fact was not a normal person and with a sigh, admitted him to leave.

After putting his clothes back on, Heero would realize that it was night time now. Bars in Pergrande illuminated the streets with laughter faintly, as Heero looked around the capitol city.

Right in the belly of the beast. It didn't seem so bad. They were just regular people eating dinner with their families. But then he remembered...every last iota of a soul in this city probably believed he and his kind to be freaks, a curse, even the devil himself. Shaking his head, Heero got ready to leave before he began to sense something towards the castle once again.

He could see it's grand torches burning from here. Going back in at night after the way he left would be suspicious and risky. He likely would be killed if captured or caught. However, something was afoot, and he had to know what. The magic signature was extremely powerful, and reminded him of the Savage Warden. Only a wizard of his level would have been able to sense it, and this normal humans in Pergrande didn't have a chance.

Only Paladins were trained to sense magical effects or tampering, and even their senses paled in comparison to those of an actual wizard like Heero; not to mention a powerful one.

"Why do even care if they get blown up from the inside out...." sighing to himself, Heero would set off at a jog before turning into a lightning bolt that curved and zipped right through a window; back into the Throne Room. That now was empty.

It was errie. Heero could with his Slayer hearing, listen to two guards outside of the Throne Room doors argue about who had the hotter wife. Shaking his head, he'd look around the room; as he sniffed the air instinctively. Turning as he walked up to the throne; he ran his hand on it. Generations of Kings, sitting on this throne; dedicated their entire lives to wiping his kind from existence. The magic signature seemed to be coming from the throne, as Heero comically appeared at different points on it, sniffing it, and inspecting it.

"Well damn...I don't see any...." as he looked to the base of the throne, he could see some smoky wisps fading away from it as if a firecracker had been cracked half an hour ago under it. Blinking to himself, Heero would step back from the throne.

His entire body would pull into itself with a snap; as he became a spider on the floor. Crawling underneath the throne, he was surprised there was an entire passageway. As the spider pulled apart with a yank he was himself again as he shapeshifted back into himself.

Pulling one of the torches from the wall, Heero would move it in front of himself as his features were illuminated by it. Carrying it, he would go down, down, and further down still down a spiral staircase of all stone; passing many wall torches until he reached an open room.

From behind, he spotted a dark haired woman rematerialize out of smoke, as he ducked back into the staircase and peeked around the corner watching her. She would reach toward a huge stone door that he hadn't even noticed before; as several magical glyphs came alive on it. The magic radiating from the glyphs was just as powerful as his own; but to his surprise; the dark haired woman unweaved them without much trouble. Was she a student of Merlin just like him? Merlin was as old as dust and had many apprentices, maybe that explained it. He had no doubt that this was who he'd spoken with through the Savage Warden.

But for some reason, he felt some measure of instinct to keep his distance for now. Waiting for the door to be opened as the glyphs faded away into mere carvings into the wall as the doors opened and she entered.

Crossing the room at a jog; Heero followed behind her with the torch, although it was completely dark in front of him.

As he entered the room; he could sense a third powerful magical presence in the room as torches came alight with golden fire all throughout the room automatically at someone entering the chambers.

    Treasure. Everywhere.

Artifacts sparkled and glinted everywhere as Heero looked around in awe. He then set his eyes on the dark haired woman for the first time in the light. He had to contain his "excitement" in his pants, as he gazed upon all of her features, his primal lust being legendary as he settled his eyes firmly on her rack. It was a lot of milk; he wanted to grab onto it; but he realized he needed to snap out of it as he shook his head left to right.

"So, I guess you're the wizard....or shall I say---" his eyes cut to her ample chest nearly busting out of her clothes again. ----"Witch, I spoke to earlier." Heero held a now useless torch in his hands still as he spoke, approaching her and standing next to her in a non threatening manner. As he looked around what seemed to be the Treasure Vault of the Nation of Pergrande. "That thing really packed a punch by the way...that's some impressive Magic there. I'm serious, I've arm wrestled Gods and sparred with Dragons for fun...that thing was a bastard...kinda cute though." he referred of course to his good buddy the Savage Warden. He continued to look around holding the torch as he spoke.

"Just what in the hell are you looking for anyway? I doubt Pergrande keeps the ultimate key to defeating them locked up in their own basement...that wouldn't make sense would it?" Heero looked around some more. "Although the King does seem like the self destruct button type....sore loser if I ever saw one." he stopped looking around and mad eye contact with her and smiled a half smile.

"I'm Heero, 5th Master of Fairy Tail." his name alone rung bells around the entire planet, some believed him to just be a rumor or a myth. The blue haired wizard from Fiore's power was a story told to kids around the world. Although people from Fiore and a few from neighboring countries knew him to be an actual person, to most he was just a story like Zeref. "Nice to finally meet you in person...now what's this Scavenger hunt all about?" as he addressed his fellow peer in power, he continued to hold the torch by habit. He wouldn't mind flying this witch around the moon once or twice, literally. Maybe if he showed her his tricks, he could learn some of hers. He still did wonder what her plans were for this very room, or what was in it. He could only guess at this point.

Eris entered the chamber below the throne as that fight was starting in addition to both suppressing her aura erasing it completely.  You even then stopped to get yourself healed and patched up in addition to fast forwarding the fight,  which could have gone on for anywhere from 60 seconds to an hour or longer.   There isn't any way for you to be in the same location as Eris herself is yet alone at the same time as when the spat barely started.

I will,  however,  try to provide ample means for you to be there in my post to roughly match the events of your own to lead up to a similar point.  Still a bit rushed though with some missing time, but hey.

    Lady Red

The Warden stood firmly as the fight broke for a moment and it got its words out,  its voice echoing through the valley that they had found themselves in.  Over the course of their little battle they had ended up traveling several miles inland past the frontlines themselves and away from a nearby village.   Instead,  they had crushed through a cliff side in a rocky region.   The demon's bottom huge clawed hands gripping the edge of the cliff while it's top arms were held out in front of it,  one fisted hand in the palm of the other.

The mage was torn up a bit,  tears in clothes from claws,  black burns from the flames.  The Warden was looking to be in even better shape,  perhaps more a measure of scale than anything else.  Lightning wouldn't have left any marks to begin with, as the demon's exoskeleton was already black and burned from its own flames.   A few thin cracks here and there would signify where it had taken blows and since healed.

They could continue to fight for a long time.  Here away from civilization however,  the mage had an advantage.  Disconnected from its army and away from mortal lives it could not reap essence to better sustain itself,  meanwhile the mage would have no worry what so ever about causing collateral damage or loss of lives among bystanders.

But it was also away from the eyes and ears of those who would witness a betrayal,  here in this rocky mountain range so far away from others the Warden could speak out.  Eris did not want to have to kill this man,  not yet.   Not when allegiances were so... changeable.   This was no enchantment or mere spell. There was not even any magic at work here,  just the raw power of the Curse,  but Eris herself speaking through a very real and very physical entity brought into this world through Eris's might and was itself entwined with her existence.  A creation of the Lich of Hell,  and as much connected to Eris as her own two hands were.

The Warden laughed when the mage touched its body,  even as it dwarfed him as a man dwarfs an ant.  "That was me being kind."   it said,  lifting a hand from the edge of a cliff to show the molten pit it had left in its wake.   Just brushing against the warden would normally turn a mortal into ash.  Against someone such as him,  Eris supposed it would charcoalize the flesh on contact and slightly cook them from inside out.

"It does not matter what the other nations think or what they may do."  The warden looked to the sky.  "It is already too late".   The demon continued a deep chuckle as the mage took off,  the demon pushing off from the cliff face and disappearing through a fold in the air,  back to the frontlines.  Since it was here, it might as well stay and play.

    __________________________________

    Meanwhile.

The corridor below the Throne was a marvel in and of itself.  The wide stone passage was richly carved and carefully designed throughout the entire length.   Thick with traps and wards,  most intruders would have perished before ever seeing the door that lie at the bottom.  Eris was not most.  Her eyes saw all,  every little notch and change in the wall and floor,  every little wisp of divine power as she flew down through,  not a single surface so much as grazed by her smokey form as she went by and faced the sealed door itself.

The room beyond was massive.   A giant cavern as great as the palace itself. Perhaps a full mile below the city a long bridge extended out from the door,  paths splitting off from it to the sides.   There was only one lightsource here,  but Eris could tell that the entire chamber was illuminated by it.  The source was the artifact in the distance in the center of the room.  Each of the side paths held artifacts of their own,  shimmering with divine energy of their own but not giving off much light.  They would have been impressive normally but here in this vault they were dwarfed by what lay in the center.

A book lay open on a pedestal shaped of gold to look like a sun.   She could not read its pages,  only define its shape.   The words would not manifest to Eris.   But it did not need to.   Smoke and fire dripped from Eris's hands in front of her and with a wave she brought into being a body of flesh and blood,  a perfect likeness of the king.   Like putting on a pair of gloves Eris slipped into the body and stepped forward into the light to approach the book.

It was a holy book,  a bible of sorts.  But the words of this book were not for the masses.  They were prophesies and covenants with divine beings.  The gods of Pergrande.  A mysterious pantheon,  nobody Eris had interrogated even knew the true names of these gods.  Much like Eris herself,  they only lended false names and manufactured visages for the faithful to rally behind.

There was one difference however.   They were in the aether.  They were beyond the veil of reality.  Their influence limited.  Their power, stretched.  Strained to touch this world.   Eris was here,  in the flesh.  Capable of manifesting far more power in this world than before she was brought into this plane.

Treading carefully none the less,  Eris neared the pedestal.   The light seemed to react to her presence.  Confused.  Eris's aura suppressed completely, as usual,  there was no sign of evil.  There was no intent on display,  only the body of a king bathed in the light of the divine.

It was not perfect.  Appearance was one thing.  Traces of the kings essence adding to the disguise lended more credibility.  A fragmented imperfect blend of the King's own memories and personality at the surface of her thoughts,  the method by which she discovered the location of these treasures.  The walls of this palace were well warded against her penetrating gaze.

The light rippled as a shimmering figure approached as Eris stepped into the central area.   An angelic being,  one of the many varieties,  composed of pure divine energy.  A spear lifted out to its side,  blocking the way.  A sword drawn towards her.

To what end have you come, King of men.  Its voice was light, but sharp.  Forceful.  Yes,  the memories became clearer.  None were allowed near the book.  The king himself was warned against it,  only moments of intense need could permit the approach of anyone.

"My kingdom is under threat of a demon host.  An army of the damned,  lifeless abominations casting an unholy shadow upon our lands.  Dead men rise to turn against their brothers and the light of the Paladins is failing.  Have you not seen it with your own eyes...  Elijeal."  Eris bought time with her words,  searching clues in the Kings memory and her knowledge of angelic hosts to uncover the name of the celestial before her to lend credence to her word.

The angel was silent,  staring into the king's face.  It was checking something.  Communing with a higher power.  Eris could see the elegant patterns of divine power echo in the fabric of this world,  until it relaxed its arms.  Weapons lowered.

"The enemy you face is new and uncertain.  This is concerning." The angels eyes widened.  "You accepted a mage...  You fool"  Divine light intensified around it,  Eris averted her eyes.  Not out of necessity, but in playing her part.   "Have you learned nothing of their heresy!  To allow one such as that to walk these halls.  It will betray you. It is a living sin unfit to live in this world."   The angel was angered,  its sword once again raised, now at Eris's throat.

"I...  I understand" Eris,  the King,  said with her head bowed and taking a knee.  "The situation was dire.  The wall was broken, an army of Sin crawling over our lands.  I thought it might bide some time.  It may have been a mistake.   But it only shows our need.   Let us use the book."  Eris's rough voice was old with experience and shaking with fear and humility.

"You will be punished.  Tried before the gods and your debt repaid.  For now,  the enemy is worthy.  Approach,  and turn the page."  The angel lifted the sword,  motioning the king forward and walked beside her to the golden sun upon which the book sat.  With reverence,  Eris reached forward.   Light shrieked as her hand neared,  white light bleeding red as her hand sunk into the surface.  Smoke rising and the chamber shaking.

Withdrawing her hand a blazing red hand print burned on the pure white surface of the book,  melting through layers and layers of pages.  The mark of Eris, radiating with blasphemous power and a binding contract placed upon this holy book,  bloody runes leaking out of the hand print and staining the pages with new words.    The angel cried out in pure anger and righteous fury.  Tearing the book from the dais,  Eris slammed the book shut as a hole in the air tore itself open revealing a fiery landscape,  hot air rushing out while the book sailed through the air and inside.

In a shining ray of light the Angel skipped forward and seemed to impact the air where the hole was as though it were a solid surface.  The angel incapable of entering the unholy land beyond.

In a flash,  the angel lifted Eris up by her throat,  a sword already impaling her heart.

"What have you done." It said,  pure hatred seething in its voice.   Eris only smiled.  The angel stepping back,  hatred focusing.   Eyes narrowing.  Blood gushed from the would in her chest,  the body of the king.  A dark pulse flickered,  a single thud of a heartbeat filling the air as a red line tainted the light of the celestial.  Wounded, as Eris was wounded.    The chamber was collapsing around them,  walls glowing red with heat and oozing molten stone.  The path shaking,  down below the floor was filling with as the sides and bottom liquefied.

"Demon." The angel realized.  It swung its sword of light towards Eris's head,  appearing from across the platform in a blink,  already in the completed arc.  The king's head rolled across the floor. Another heartbeat resounded,  another dark pulse.  The A red line appearing across the celestial being's throat,  tainting the light that formed its body.   The decapitated head laughing,  as Eris's body became smoke and and swirled away to reform on the walkway towards the central platform and looking towards the angel.

The body of the king was gone.   Eris herself stood there.  Her expression cool.   Pure white eyes looking ahead,  snow white hair and skin pristine and undamaged,  though the damage was done it was not shown.  The angel flashed again,  but was met with a crack as a barrier appeared before it like a wall and Eris was gone,  reaching from behind to touch the Angel.   A red hand blazed against its back,  its yellowish form of light becoming tainted with red.  Blue flames flowing off her hand and enveloping the being,  stealing from its vital essences.

Waves of demonic energy clashed against holy light met with the unholy intrusion.  The light coming off of the angel filling one side of the room while being cut off from the other as though a shadow were cast in its stead,  the shadow slow and deliberately enveloping that light,  a harsh shadow bending in and around the angel until it fell in agony until it winked out of existence.

The whole city above could feel the shaking and the commotion rising from beneath their feet.  The palace itself was effected the most,  its walls visibly quaking.  A tower caving in.

There was no more divine power to be had here.   Pergrande was cut off from their gods.  Paladins falling to their knees as they could feel the silence,  the fatigue of mortal weakness.  Their weapons and armor inert, normal.

Eris took it all in ecstatically.  Joy filled her,  seeing through the eyes of her minions she watched it all.   The desperation.  The isolation.  Her body shivered in excitement.  And the book... The book was hers.   It wouldn't do her much good for now,  but it was there.  Stolen.  Corrupted.

Eris looked around the room as it trembled.   Other holy artifacts.  She could not see the Witch Blade however.  The legendary blade itself.   An artifact as important as the book itself apparently.   In the mean time,  skeletons walked out of rifts appearing in the air to crack open display cases and retrieve other holy artifacts of lesser status.   She herself taking the ones that incinerated the undead minions on contact and casting them into hell,  into her realm.

Aboveground,  Eris could now see again.   The divine power cut off she was no longer limited to seeing her surroundings but could once again see through walls.  The true King was arriving at the Throne,  soldiers pushing it aside as the blue haired mage showed up.    That wasn't long.  The commotion and overflowing celestial power from the angel and the corruption of the artifacts could have easily lured him along with the soldiers and King.   The traps seemed to be disabled at the King's influence and they were nearing unhindered.

Whether the King would allow the blue-haired mage to witness anything in the room was debatable.  A mage would not likely be welcome in such a sacred place.  But,  they would all feel that there was no divine connection any longer.   Perhaps they understood how dire the situation was, how powerless they were.

The the more important artifacts ferried away,  Eris debated whether to stay or not.

Past text, that has been replaced.  This does not happen anymore due to the long wait,  I have to make adjustments in order to post again.   Saving it however in a spoiler, not for use but for sake of archival.

    Lady Red

Staying was ultimately a pointless decision.  She may have been tempted to make contact with the blue-haired mage as he approached, but she had bigger plans at the moment.  She didn't care to stop in the middle of them here now as as the city shook with divine anger as the book which provided the foundation of their empire was now corrupted and stolen.   The power meant to defend the kingdom was lost,  leaving the order of Paladins and the many holy artifacts inert,  severed from their divine origins.  The palace which once blocked Eris's vision due to the presence of their god's influence was now open to her,  it's old stones no more than dirt to her now.

Rather than sticking around,  Eris disappeared through a crack in the air and was gone,  the men coming down the tunnels to this once sacred place would find only the empty room that trembled,  with old stone bridges crumbling along with what artifacts she did not steal,  the cavern's ancient walls bleeding with heat dripping down into the melting cave floor into a small lake of lava that formed, segments of the breaking walkways sinking below the surface.

Eris herself was now in the skies above the capitol city.  What once was an unassailable fortress was now as vulnerable as any city or town.    And it. will. fall.  This holy empire was an affront to her,  their divine power was a threat to her and her goals,  but whats more was they were actively seeking to undo the sole reason Eris came to this world in the first place.  Magic.   Eris needed mages to continue to thrive,  their magic serving to feed her.  Their souls,  their magic.  This world was thick of it.  Except for here,  Pergrande,  where they have cast out the supernatural and tainted the land with their divine influence.

On this day they would be crippled,  and Eris would have the means to undo their plague of light and a powerful artifact to fuel future endeavors.   The book would remain with her,  sealed away in Hell until she had use of it.  For now...  Eris had another goal.

In the air the capitol city,  Eris twisted in the air,  her body erupting once again as it did a week ago at the Great Wall of Sin.  A great shadow was cast over the city as an undead wyrm soared in the darkening skies ahead.   The effect the corruption of the book had dimmed the light of the sun itself,  and dark clouds formed over the city with the crack of lightning and echo of thunder.    As her shadow passed over the city the living would fall like the spirit of death itself washed over the people below.   But they would rise again,  given new life in undeath.  The undead turned against those who were unaffected or those who were out of reach of the influence that had passed over the city beneath Eris as she circled once overhead.

She was not content to turn the population however,  the weak mortals were cannon fodder and worth little to her on their own.   The great sleek body of bone spiraled up into the sky,  swirling the clouds around her as she passed through them.   Above the blanket of clouds,  a fiery crack appeared in the air as the Savage Warden joined her here,  leaping fearlessly out from the portal towards Eris,  who did not slow.   Eris,  the Skeleton Wyrm,  slammed into the four-armed demon,  a ripple of bone and flesh shimmering as two became one.   In their stead hovered a singular entity with six arms clad in bone with six slender wings at its back and a long spine-like tail,   a ferocious angular head with fiery eyes.   A black carapaces that was the Warden's smooth exoskeleton was covered now with spines and bone protrusions giving it the appearance of being armored in bone, spines extending all the way down her back and tail that trailed along behind her.

With a roar,  Eris dove back downwards, the clouds trailing her descent from the sky until she slammed into the earth,  making the ground tremble of miles and destroying an entire district of the city,  shockwaves visibly rushing out past the city limits, as she was nearer to one side,  and leveling other structures beyond her impact site that were not designed to withstand the shock of an earthquake,  or if they were had relied purely on the divine power that once coursed through this city.    The massive cloud of dust from her impact was not enough to fully obstruct her as she stood, standing taller than any structure in the city here.   In four powerful strides that sent tremors through the land she was upon the castle,  the palace of Pergrande's King.

In one of her many titanic hands she swiped through the great palace-castle sending a shower of large stone blocks and furnishings that were within,  a single pass cratering the once mighty building with irreparable damage,  but two more followed behind the first,  carving their paths through the grand building and shaving off the majority of the upper levels leaving many injured nobles, royals and various courtiers that were within and exposing the throne room that was on the bottom level.    Some towers that were nicked in the process but not immediately caught up caved in on themselves from lack of supports.

The palace was undeniably destroyed,  a ruin that would take a generation to repair without magic,  a path of destruction devastating a huge chunk of the large city from her landing and path to this castle.   Eris roared again,  violent and thunderous,  echoing throughout the city and the remains.   The king was surely still alive due to his descent in the the secret chambers below,  she could see the throne still skewed forward to reveal the passage he took,  he was near the door to the chamber below when Eris vanished and may still be down there still if not on his way up once the doors opened revealing the angry cauldron of lava that was once the most sacred place in Pergrande,  or at least one of them.

Eris towered tall, dominating the sky over the exposed throne room when the king eventually appeared up from the passage way,  a hand on his throne to stable himself as he looked up with wide eyes and horror,  a crack of lightning illuminating the giant form of Eris's Savage-Titan form,  her top half being somewhat faded due to the distance giving an overwhelming sense of scale as her body parted clouds.  Few creatures in Earthland could compare let alone exceed the size of this titanic monster looking down upon the king.   With one quick motion Eris caved in the stone floor of the throne room and scooped the king,  one of his Kingsguard,  and the throne itself up in one hand,  taking a huge chunk out of the large throne room.   The kings legs were crushed in the process but his top half and most his thighs were still oriented upwards as Eris brought him up towards her.

In a rumbling voice that echoed with a male demon's tone and the female devil's voice herself,  Eris spoke to the king.   "Witness the ruin of your Kingdom,  a devastation wrought by your actions"   Eris held him so he can see the crumbling city and the screams of those who were still living, cries of terror sounding throughout the ruins.   Eris would have assaulted this land regardless,  but instilling doubt and diverting expectations or twisting understanding was beneficial.   It was true to some extent,  Pergrande would be crippled in its genocidal war against mages and many mages were now free,  in a way.   To reinforce her point,  mages were unharmed by her undead.  Freed from prisons and butchers blocks where they would have met their ends at the executioner's ax,  true to Eris's words.  She didn't even care particularly if the common civilian escaped death,  her main target was the Paladins and the royal court.    Even those who did fall however were not truly lost,  but remained in a state of undeath.  Once all was over,  they may even carry on their lives as though nothing happened.   Though it depended on the individuals.  Some may take a taste for blood,  others wouldn't.   For now however,  they were part of Eris's command,  and her command was War.

Lifting her arm up high Eris drew the king back,  and with a powerful throw slammed the man into the stone steps causing him disappear in a splash of red and the sickening, to some,  sound of flesh striking the hard surface.   Shattered bones and scattered bits of organs and meat spread out over a wide area across the steps,  a bent crown sitting among the gelatinous bits of brain matter.   The throne that was in her hand cratered into a spot nearby,  more stones that were taken up in her grasp raining around creating a ruin at the steps to the castle and in their center was the red stain of their fallen King, a red splatter that painted out a symbol. By some influence the blood spilled forming the Blazing Hand. The mark of Eris stained into the stones of Pergrande.

Pergrande's history would remember this day for generations to come,  if it survived the coming age.   Eris drew herself lower to the ground,  her bottom two fists sinking in to the ground before she kicked off and powered forward through what remained of the palace,  her six arms carving into the buildings and grounds along her path through and into the city on the opposite side to where she initially landed and then with an explosive jolt she soared off into the sky away,  but vanished into thin air disappearing with a smokey cloud as though she became smoke and passed through some narrow crack in the air,  leaving a ruin in her wake.
