Zemina stayed silent the entire trip, looking depressed as she now returned to this forsaken place, where her friend was struck down, where she for once in her life found herself helpless. The woman came across the city that was noted on the map, and sighed before entering the outskirts and heading towards the way that was noted to be the cemetery. She heard shifting, and she knew that there was no way that they were alone here, but she continued on, trying to find the cemetery as that's where the map led, Zemina stored the map inside the sheath for her sword, considering there was nowhere else for her to put it. This was a big city, one that gave many places for attack, and Zemina didn't want to leave her focus down just due to trying to follow the map left by her now dead friend.

Great... Zombies Again
Zemina began following her map, having went and rested up before continuing the job. The man Raiza continued to follow her, so she knew that she was getting help, but the swordswoman didn't know if he would be that great of an asset to her. Zemina held her sword at her side, this time instead of wearing her cloak she was without it, wearing her basic red armor. The sheath to the sword was empty, as the red blade was already brandished in case they ran into any more enemies, like the last time. The last time when she herself caused the death of her once great friend, which still stabbed at the back of her mind. This had to be done for him, and for him alone.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Much like Zemina, the youth had kept his lips closed only keeping a close eye on everything else. The entire place seemed dark and more so it seemed frighteningly inviting. Though if it felt inviting to Zemina would be another story. Raiza however felt his somewhat demonic presence to be much more welcome around these parts as if there was an unholy vigor throughout the lands. It made him feel much more potent yet at the same time he felt much more uneasy and threatened. If he felt like this just by the way he was, what about the possible enemies. Which if he had any slight guess, they'd be more zombies, that or perhaps worse.
Though the youth regardless of what he knew may or may not come had already had his gun blade out and on the ready for no matter what reason. He wasn't the kind to leave himself unprotected or off guard after all, especially since last time those damn specter things nearly were able to kill him despite the number of shots and swings he made in their direction. Numbers were what gave the undead a win in nearly all the movies or video games he played, this was no difference, and if logic told him anything, what was coming next may be a bit more harder.
"Zemina, I hope you realize by now, and you dont have to if you choose not to, but if you wish to talk with someone, I can at least be an open ear for you. You are not among any enemy with me." his words finally escaped his lips after a long period of silence, not knowing weather or not he should have spoken at all, but it was a risk he was willing to take.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Zemina didn't say anything in return to what he said to her, only continued a steady pace along the concrete ground. The place looked desolate, and yet it still seemed lively. However the "livelyness" only came in the form of constant shifting of shadows, bushes, and the sound of footsteps. It appeared that the two were being stalked, like a cat to a mouse.
"We need to get to the cemetery before we get attacked."
Zemina broke the nigh-silence, but not to respond to him. She want even normally this depressed even if something bad happens, but the fact that she herself couldn't help someone in need at their beck and call, especially if it was someone so close to her, that was what brought her to seclude herself. Another pebble fell from atop a building, and Zemina bared her sword, ready for the attack. No magic signatures were being picked up, but that was most likely because the foes they were bound to fight were dead already. Why would the enemies attack now, instead of when they reach their destination? That would be when Zemina and Raiza were most vulnerable, now they were ready. Something fell from atop the building in question, it was a body. Dead one at that, but it didn't move at all afterward, so Zemina called it dead. For good, that is. But Zemina couldn't shake the feeling that they were being ambushed, so she began looking around, finding a few other dead bodies, but nothing else.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Having not been as alert as Zemina actually threw him off when the mention of 'before they were attacked' kind of thing, especially since Raiza was not too keen in looking forward to some damn foreseeable problem down the line where an ambush could happen. His gun blade already was at his side anyways, though out of anticipation he began to scan the area even raising his gun up slightly at the dead figure that had fallen from such a height.
"With what attacked us before... I'd dare say I should blow a hole into every single dead body, and remove their head", his words full of spite and hate towards those damn undead that had attacked before, now it was supposedly going to happen again no doubt, at least just by the city they were going through at least it was fairly obvious something was up.
Even his worry began to stirr the wisp that resided in his body, forcing it to come out and begin to hover around him, the small ball of light like creature was observant, and kept an eye out around where Raiza was not looking and even once kept a look on one of the dead figures. Though concern was not completely out of the normal especially from the sound of a figure 'walking' or maybe limping around them, perhaps around a corner, yet Raiza couldn't pin point it, let alone sense it just yet.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
"We're about to be attacked." Zemina saw two figures as she began walking again after the whole roof-body thing. There were two zombies, both of which can easily be killed by the swordswoman, but she couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone else, someone or something that was waiting to ambush them, someone or something that planned an attack. The reason is because this place seemed way too quiet except for the two zombies that Raiza and Zemina herself just now encountered, but as well as Zermina and Raiza themselves. This was all too... Strange
This wasn't the matter at the moment, however, because there was two enemies. While Zemina dashed towards one of them, the other was attracted to Raiza and decided to go for him. Zemina, not one to waste time in battle when a goal should be accomplished, swung her sword, bringing it above her head, and slammed it onto the Zombie's head, splitting it in two. The red blade now had a darker shade of red on it, and it was dripping with blood as Zemina brought the sword from between the cracked skull and split brains of the now re-dead zombie. The woman clad in red slashed her sword to the side, sending the blood that covered one end of the double-edged blade sprawling over the street, and Zemina began walking once again, seeing as though she knew that Raiza could handle one measly zombie, and if he couldn't then he wasn't worth having a partner anyway.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Listening but not listening to Zemina's words, he hardly cared if they were about to be attacked, the presence and sounds of those near them alone indicated that much, and with the speed of these zombies, they were no doubt just going to become a mild threat, hardly worth any effort at all actually, and in all reality, he didn't even begin to care since a simple head shot would do the trick. Even as he turned his gaze towards the two zombies that were approaching them, his over-exaggerated sigh would let Zemina know how little he cared for these zombie things, no doubt because with what has lead up to this point, he just wanted to help and be done with these stupid things.
"oh no... a scary zombie miss swordswoman, what shall I ever do." raising his gun up as the youth exclaimed a false state of worry "oh I know... " his mouth opened to let a few half-assed words escape it before a single trigger pull of his gun to send out two magic bullets to rip through the skull and brain matter of the undead zombie, easily destroying and caving in from the forehead of the annoying monstrosity known to this word as the undead. Even as he fired once the bullets would travel through one zombie and fly off towards the distance before fading away unlike typical bullets. "awe cute...its playing dead" , the second trigger pull would be aimed for the zombie's chest cavity mainly to ensure it was dead even further and to leave a gaint hole, but his main assault was to break the spine with the bullets, completely rendering the zombie useless even if they could some how live without a head. Then again, perhaps Raiza just wanted to cause more blood from the attack.
"Remind me again... who uses zombies... they're rediculously too easy even if we were D-class mages. They'd fall within a single swipe" clearly bored, and more so annoyed. Raiza turned his head to watch the final swing of Zemina take out the zombie. Far too much effort used to swing a blade, rather than to pull a trigger in Raiza's mind, that would be her downfall if they were to fight a massive group of numbers. Though obviously even the small encounter here wouldn't be all, no it'd be too easily done like that right?
Another body dropped from the building, staggering up to it's broken feet and becoming a crawler zombie, slowly heading towards the pair, while something else, what seemed like just one, became five spirits that seemed to spawn from the rooftops 'damn i'm about to go travel by roof top at this rate..jeez', even when not saying things outloud he was annoyed as the spirits had a strange aura that pinged at his fear, though he didn't seem affected by it(nor would you, I rolled a successful block for us). "More ghosts? hmmm", he sighed readying his assault to prepare to attack them when they would draw near by.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Zemina practically ignored Raiza, only retorting with "Sarcasm has no effect on those who don't care how other's speak." The second Zemina saw the ghosts, she already knew what the problem was. She wouldn't be able to hit them, so the woman entered her god-like state and the sword she held began surrounding itself in fire. Zemina tightened the grip on her sword, and began whispering to herself. The words were'nt even audible, but what she did speak were the words "Nether Curse, Yame Joren," and two symbols began to appear, and floated onto the blade and glowed brightly. The flame that encased the blade began turning purple, and after a second went entirely in the violet hue. Zemina cracked a smirk, and swung her blade into a diagonal motion, and the blade exerted its flame entirely for a moment, in which it created a large tornado of flame, engulving each of the ghosts, except none of them perished, and four of them escaped away whilst another dashed forward, and slashed Zemina's face with its claw. Somehow something that can't be touched touches things, but don't ask Zemina for any explanation to that. Zemina grasped her face, in which the ghost took the opprotunity to possess her body, making Zemina's bright orange eyes a bright blue color, and the woman got a blue-white aura to herself. The possession wasn't successful, but it was quite a bit to get the ghost out. It just kinda sat in Zemina's body for a bit, while she fought for it to leave. "Why don't..... you worry about the enemies.... and fight instead of.... cracking... wise... REMARKS!!!" Zemina exerted a shock, like a sonic boom coming from herself, and the ghost was forced from her body. She didn't mean to exactly yell at Raiza, instead she just wanted to really just say a statement, but the ghost in her body was getting infuriating, and impaired her even to the extent of speaking. It was after this ghost was gone that Zemina noticed something - 12 more zombies appeared. So this was an ambush, and Zemina and Raiza played straight into the ring master's plan. But what didn't make sense was the fact that such small enemies were sent, insignificant to Zemina and Raiza. Sure they can take a punch or two, but all it was were cannonfodder. Four now flaming ghosts, and one that was without fire, and twelve zombies which began to surround Raiza in a circle. All of this would be easily defeated by Zemina and Raiza, so why would the ringmaster send this wall of fodder?
Unless he or she is trying to wear us down.... Get as much damage done so we don't have the strength to fight once he or she makes their grand reveal... Zemina thought to herself.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Nodding his head slightly "well I mean I am fighting", even going so far for the length to summon up a second gunblade, now duel wielding them he chuckled a bit as the remark was thrown his way. "Perhaps three might even be better." , though no way to actually even 'hold' three gunblades, he aimed them both towards the number of zombies, firing off the bullets with one gunblade towards the closest just to give them space, easily ripping through a few of the skulls fairly quickly and rendering half the zombies re-dead with just using one of his gun blade. The other gunblade would begin firing towards the ghost figures, killing two but the one that avoided the most, had managed to enter his body, scratching at his chest on the way in, forcing themselves into him.
His eyes shifted from the typical blank stare to a more aggressive look as he began to struggle pointing his gunblade in the direction of Zemina, albit off a bit so it was not directly aimed but rather the struggle was showing he was trying to fight it off. "Okay Ghost...FUCK OFF!!!", his grunting pain forcing the ghost out and as he did, would slice through the thing, cutting it in half with his magical strike. luckily his gunblades all did magic damage. Something a ghost couldn't exactly avoid. Though his words were much more aggressive than he normally would, only because of the failed attempt at possession of his body.
"Okay okay... now I'm actually irritated" , beginning the reloading process watching the rest of the zombies, and then even a ghost still remained. The duo still had to deal with that too. Though the annoying part was why even use any of these kind of fodder in the first place? Would it not be more effective to send in the stronger to force them to weaken themselves to the weaker could swarm? Though then again, obviously that Raiza's thought process was still on tactical play of games.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Zemina, now with her sword pointed to the sky, began speaking to Raiza. "I hope you know this is a trap. We waste our magic on the little fodder so we don't have enough energy to kill the big enemy later, such as a giant beast. It will probably absorb the attacks that we have and considering we won't have enough power to throw an onslaught at it we'll lose, presumably by death. We should conserve as much magic power as possible." Zemina muttered the words, "Remedia," and slashed her sword at one of the zombies, slicing it in half. The zombie's redead corpse fell to the ground, as 7 more limped Zemina's way.
"Take out the ghost, and I have the zombies. We both can conserve energy, as I can not naturally hit the ghost." Zemina smiled after saying such, getting the feeling that this battle will be interesting. Her fighting 12 zombies, all of which pose no threat. Target practice?
The woman dashed towards the closest zombie to her, sending on percise slash to the zombie's midsection, severing its upper body entirely. The funny thing was, this was the exact move Zemina started the duel with Raiza on, a swift motion that is deadly if you can not react to it. Another zombie got its head cut off by the swordswoman, with a spinning slash, but she got a bite to her shoulder from a seperate one, causing a slight growl but none the wiser the zombie recieved a military flip over her shoulder, and a stab to the face. 4 down, 8 to go. A zombie attempted to claw at Zenia's chest, but that hand never reached its target. The hand flew off, with a single stroke of the godly fire sword, and soon a hole appeared in the chest of such zombie. Now with the fifth down, Zemina decided to use a bit of magic, but without using mana. The woman uttered the words, "Agni Tritura" and the blade began to have a purple aura. With a lunge forward, Zemina said the word "Perish" as a large purple blade made entirely of flame killed 3 of the zombies, leaving only 4 left. The swordswoman, seeing as it wouldn't take Raiza this long to kill a single ghost turned her back and began walking, leaving the remaining 4 zombies to her associate Raiza.

Conserve energy and conserve mana huh? Simple, well his most beloved spell, simple yet doubled his damage output was defiantly his 'to go to' spell when he needed to get out of a quick bind, or just to simply start dealing more damage faster. "Of course, only an idiot would think fodder was something to waste too much energy on like this. Unlike the forest when I used a lot of mana, I wont need to here." Regardless, the plan she had was good, and Raiza had to agree with it. Lets see...no mana use then. "Duplication glitch!" His words escaped so fluidly as a second gunblade began to form at a rather hastened pace. Materializing and actually forming like a digital creation before finally giving off a simple flare as it was completed, his second gunblade formed and ready to use. The smile on his face quickly changed as he open fired upon the ghost, not just tearing holes into it but rather each bullet would take out a chunk of the ghost before nothing remained at all.
His next target, seeing as his partner was walking off already, was the remaining zombies, which a quick trigger pull on every single target would lodge a few rounds into the undead's head which caused a rather gruesome splattering motion on each of the four. "Any reason you cannot naturally hit these ghosts?" inquired the youth as he would catch back up with Zemina. Oddly enough he at this point didn't get a concept as to why she couldn't yet her blade was that of a 'god' yet he could, all he used was magic ammo, and a magical holder blade. It did not set right at first, but perhaps it was because his holder weapon was magical based, while Zemina's wouldn't be.
Then again, what about those flames? The duel Raiza had with her meant Zemina's blade was magical too, was she trying to hide something? Though at this point he wasn't trying to care too much. If she wanted to leave all these damn ghosts to him, then so be it, he'll take care of every single ghost, and leave the zombie fodder to Zemina, whom still has to hack and slash all her targets. Raiza however, didn't even have to use too much mana for any of this at all, considering his holder weapon produced the magic on it's own, while he had range and ease of use for his attacks.

- Spell:
Name: Duplication Glitch
Rank: Scales with User
Type: Support
Duration: 5
Cooldown: 2
Description: You see that gunblade that the user holds? Now he has two!, this spell allows him to duplicate it completely so the wielder may duel wield the holder item. Though if the user tries to duplicate it after any spell effects the effects DO NOT TRANSFER, this is just the 'base weapon' period. Though this 'duplicate' isnt the true holder item, and thus is weaker to a larger degree. By that the duplicate has an actual durability with zero damage reduct. Curent: Strong = 80hp
Strengths:
-Gives the user a second weapon to use effectively
-as any signature spell, this has a 'different CD/Dura' than most things spells, and does not properly follow the CD/Dura rules
-Requires no mana as par signature rules
Weaknesses:
-Has a durability unlike other holder items
-Can be stolen/taken unlike holder items as this makes a 'soft duplicate'
-Requires a second use of a spell if the user wishes to try and imbue this duplicate with any added effects
-Has a duration/CD

Re: Great... Zombies Again
The young woman still held the fiery blade in her hand once Raiza caught back up to her, then asked his question about why she couldn't hit the ghosts. It was a hard question to think about, but she finally got a good answer. "Whilst my power is that of a god, even a god can not surpass a ghost, for they are already dead. Not even death himself could do much to a ghost, for ghosts have nowhere else to go - a ghost can not die. The ghosts we just took out are probably just sent back to the underworld, waiting to come back up here. But however that does not explain why I couldn't have sent them back to the underworld as you did, but that answer is simple: I can not hit them physically. I can't hit them with my sword, it'd phase right through them. You're gun I assume fires magic, does it not? The "bullets" aren't really bullets, instead concentrated magic, therefore you can hit the ghosts." The white-haired woman with the fiery blade said while walking continuously, not turning to look at Raiza but still noting that she wasn't being disrespectful by sometimes turning a bit, because she still needed to stay on guard. Guard was top priority, as the two still needed to reach the cemetery.
Holding the blade with just one hand now, letting it sink to the ground and bounce off and skid off the pavement, leaving a trail of sparks and flames, the swordswoman Zemina used her left hand to pull back out the map, noting where the two of them were. She continued on the correct path, but couldn't get the cemetery in visual, but then it gave her an idea, one she would soon say to Raiza. "If the enemy is anywhere, its atop the buildings. That's where it seems most of the zombies are coming from, therefore meaning it might be where the leader is too. Plus, it'll give us an easier way to get to the cemetery, as the buildings are fairly high and close to one another. Shall we continue on from up there?"

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Looking at it like a chess standpoint, a lot of the enemies did originate from the buildings, and it seemed like the best route to go. The only thing that didn't set right with the youth was the fact it felt way too...baited in. The buildings could be rigged trying to even get onto one, and further more, it meant a hard way down if either required to flee, while where they were was an open spot that allowed the enemy to be required to 'rain down' on them from the buildings, or try to sneak up on them with their loud grunts and slow grandpa walking style. The choice wasn't too hard, but to tell Zemina that it may not be the best route to go with her idea. Then again this was a team effort after all, what kind of team didn't work together after all?.
"Zemina don't get me wrong, I enjoy the idea of getting there easier, but Think about these few possibilities. One the enemy may be baiting us to go up there since the buildings could be trapped or rigged with multitudes of enemies. Second they may be unstable anyways since this entire place has been abandoned, hard to tell what all has gone down with the buildings anyways. Third is if we needed a quick way down, most of these buildings are fairly tall and it'd cut off one of our escape routes if by some miracle that we actually needed to fall back." Still not entirely sure about this situation at all, especially since Raiza was not too keen on wanting some stupid enemy to ambush him with crap fodder like that.
Though it was obvious choices had to be made when more magical energy signatures began to sprout back up again. Obviously something was coming and be it slow or fast, the obvious matter was they'd have to deal with that soon then figure out which route they really were going to take.
ooc: It just occured to me, I cannot see any legal job even though I started this when I was guildless, so idk what I just spawned so I simply rped the magical signature popped up.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Zemina began hearing more noises, then quickly decided for herself. "Well, while you're correct about the fact that there is a possibility of the buildings not being in proper shape, I will have to disagree with you're other claims. Sure there may be enemies in the buildings, but there probably won't be that many. That would require too many zombies, and too much planning, as we could technically go into any building around here, so that would require a ton of planning or a ton of luck, either way I don't think that's the case. Plus look at this: The enemies are coming to us, they are planning for us to stay on our route. And for an escape route we could just jump to the next building, or the previous one. And if there does come for a need to fight, we fight." Looking around at the five ghosts once again, she sighed and quickly readied her blade.
"Look, let's meet halfway. I'll take the high grounds and you take the streets. Our enemies will be evenly distributed between us, lessening the load. That will make it much, much easier to complete, and you can have the map, as I should be able to see the cemetery from atop the buildings. Dea-" She was interrupted by one of the ghosts, whom entered her body once again. Her sword hand gripped the sword and pointed it to Raiza, against her own will. Zemina knew she herself was stronger, and began to lower it, struggling to take the map from her sheath and toss it to Raiza. Finally dispelling the creature from her body, Zemina said one final word to Raiza before running off. "And also, please take care of these nuisances for me will you?"

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Wanting to scowl at the idea of even tagging along in the first place from now on after one may not have realized that every building they passed so far had zombies dropping from it. No they didn't need to predict which one, since what ever caused this town to be dead, was no doubt just adding the town as fuel to the zombies. What was more were these damn ghost like things that kept trying to possess Zemina and himself. It was at first just an annoyance, but when it caused a blade to be pointed at him, he rather felt it was more than an annoyance but an actual threat. A threat he soon felt needed to be 'dealt with' before it ever escalated to a higher degree.
Even now as the ghost left Zemina's body, Raiza would take aim and begin unloading his gunblades at the spectral creatures, easily downing them with his magic bullets. "Fine, we'll do the half road, but I warn you Zemina, just because you won that half ass duel, doesn't mean you'll win if you draw that sword at me for real." his blank expression turned much colder as his gunblade itself was lifted up to finish off the last of the ghosts that were close. Now all that remained was one more standing in the open. 'Idiots forget both my guns still exist'
It wasn't exactly clear at first till he raise the second gunblade up and unloaded more rounds, ending the ghost's existence. Though for now he was fairly sure each of the ghosts he killed were gone. Counting them in his head, Raiza counted four dead. He knew Zemina got rid of the one in her, and he finished it, but the fifth was still lingering around right?
Turning his head behind him to check only to be ambushed from below, the ghost swept through his body, only to exit the back side before Raiza was able to blast the ghost into nothing "Damn, it feels like they're chipping away at the soul doing that..." , the youth exclaimed trying to get a grasp on the situation at hand.

Re: Great... Zombies Again
Zemina rolled her eyes when she heard the statement by Raiza, that she wouldn't ever beat him in a true fight. That was funny, considering she outmatched him in swordplay by far, and she was beginning to get the hang of using guns. That dreaded man... The annoying Wade who was teaching her the way of the gun. It still required practice, but if Raiza thought his only advantage was the fact that he had guns, heh well that was just naive. Everyone had their own strengths and weaknesses, and Raiza had yet to even see a powerful spell from Zemina.
Now entering a high apartment, Zemina decided to refrain from using an elevator for... obvious reasons. Racing up the stairs, she finally reached the roof. Now being able to see the cemetery, she jumped from this roof to the next, finding actually less enemies up here then on the ground, however as she reached the next jump Zemina began hearing shifting. "Fool's hope to believe I'd go without a fight through here..." She sighed, and prepared her sword, but instead of facing it head on let it play a game of chase, running and jumping to the next roof.
