Lexa relaxed her body when she saw the man grabbing for the knife sticking out of her back, knowing if she tensed up that knife would literally shred her. "1..." she counted, letting her partner know when she was ready. "2..." she said, part nervous. "3!" she said, immediately feeling the blade fly out of her back. She bit her lip, forcing the tears not to flow, but it couldn't stop a few from breaking free as she fell to her knees. 'I'm gonna enjoy making this bitch cry!' Lexa thought to herself. She saw Dmitry and his massive wolf partner charging ahead, giving her some time to regain her thoughts. "I'm good, go help them!" Lexa ordered Taranis as he reached a hand out to help Lexa up.
As ordered, Taranis charged forwards without any other words needed. He quickly caught up to Dmitry, his lack of clothing and muscular build promoted faster run speed. Matching Dmitry's speed, Taranis parried any incoming chains that would hit Dmitry's left side. Having got in nice and close, Taranis slammed Gabriel's Blade into the barrier Lillith set up, and then immediately jumped aside as a chain tried to hit him. He saw as the chain hit the barrier, causing a crack in the side. However, on the other side of the barrier a chain was moving freely within. Soon, a blast came from the crack that sent Taranis several meters back. He relayed that information to Lexa, letting her decode the meaning while he focused on fighting.
Lexa's eyes flew open as she realized how the barrier worked. 'Taranis, the barrier seems to work like a door. It opens to let the chains in, and closes to keep attacks out. But there's a small transition period where the door opens, and no transition where it closes. I've got a plan, keep her busy.' Lexa said to Taranis in his head. He looked at Dmitry who had landed right next to him "Master has plan. We become fodder. Never easy, no?" He said with a pained voice as he got up.
Taranis charged at Lillith, keeping her eyes focus on him and only him while Lexa hobbled in closer. The chains seemed to be different from her own. They attacked from a direct link to Lillith, her being their controller. Lexa's had a partial link, but acted of their own will only protecting Lexa or following orders when they saw fit. A good minute passed, and Taranis had taken a few minor hits but his speed and battle knowledge served to keep the major damage to a minimum. That still didn't help the OTHER hole in his chest from one of those chains. "Hey kid." Lexa said with a cocky voice. "You know, you got talent... but you're still a dumbass brat with no experience. I bet you couldn't take me if you tried!" she said arrogantly, making Taranis nervous considering her condition. "Oh really? You seem pretty battered..." Lillith responded, also sounding a bit full of herself. Taranis realized what Lexa was doing, he immediately began linking his vision with Lexa's, allowing her to see what was behind her.
Five chains rose from the air, pointing at Lexa directly without making a sound. "You really should bite your tongue lady..." Lillith said. "OR I'LL RIP IT OUT!" she screamed as the five chains launched towards Lexa's head. Lexa let off a quick smirk, and just as the chains were a few inches from her head she used her Dark Evade to appear in front the barrier, while hitting it with her own chains. The action cause the 'door' to shut. Lillith, knowing her own spell like a book, made the chains keep going, knowing the chains wouldn't break the barrier, and instead it would reflect that damage and tear Lexa apart. The chains closed the few feet of distance Lexa put in an instant, but Lexa teleported backwards using her Trick House, causing the chains to slam into the barrier. The blonde mage let go of her requip, causing them to dissipate, and placed her hands in the air, as if she were a hero stopping a train. She watched as the damage from the attack was reflected back in her direction and said with a smile "Reflect!" causing an invisible barrier to appear between her and the attack. Lexa struggled, going beyond her limits and forcing the barrier to remain as long as needed to send the damage back. Lexa felt the ground slipping beneath her feet, the force from the reflected attack being far too great. The two colliding forces resonated, creating a bright light where they connected and sending a massive shockwave out as each spell tried to overcome the other. Letting out a high-pitch, adorable roar, Lexa went even further beyond her limits and forced the reflected attack to be re-reflected back to the barrier. The force slammed into the barrier, making it so only a few more attacks were necessary, but Lexa was too exhausted to keep going, and used almost all her remaining magic power to activate Shadow Burst, and escape as her reflected attack was sent back to her after hitting that barrier. The tiny wizard fell asleep, leaning on the ashes of one the homes her Meteor Storm destroyed earlier. "You got this... Nii-san..." she said as the world faded to black.

- Dark Evade:
Name: Dark Evade
Rank: D
Type: Darkness, Defense
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description:
Reacting to an incoming attack, Lexa quickly disappears in a shadow and reappears anywhere within a 10 meter radius of her original position. If an opponent is able to control their attack, like make it turn or something, then the attack is likely to land. Additionally, if the opponent knows where Lexa will appear next the enemy could make an attack in that location to hit Lexa.
Strengths:
• Very fast way to dodge an incoming attack
• Can be used to get further from an enemy
• Can be used to get closer to an enemy
Weaknesses:
• Cannot be used constantly back-to-back (requires cooldown)
• If an opponent can control their attack then they have a better chance of hitting Lexa
• If an opponent knows where Lexa will appear next, they could send an attack in that spot and hit her
• Maximum 10 meters for the attack, this could give an enemy a good idea where Lexa will pop up
- Reflect:
Name: Reflect
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Defense
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description:
In reaction to an incoming attack, Lexa places her palm out and sends out a quick burst of magic power to send the attack back to the opponent. The reflected attack can be dodged by the opponent, or blocked by the opponent. This spell can reflect 1/2 the damage of the attack 1 rank above the rank of this spell (in accordance with the rules for barriers). If used against an area of effect, this spell can cover a nine foot radius sphere. The only way for this barrier to work on 2 attacks of equal rank, as all normal barrier do, is if the 2 attacks occurred at the exact same time.
Strengths:
• Can be used to block an attack up to C rank
• Reflects damage
• Very fast defensive spell
Weaknesses:
• Cannot stop spells above B rank
• Only reflects 1 attack before the spell is over
• Only reflects 1/2 damage if used against a B rank attack
• Does not deploy a long lasting barrier
- Shadow Burst:
Name: Shadow Burst
Rank: D
Type: Dark, Mobility
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description:
Lexa turned into a shadow and drops to the floor, reappearing from any shadow withing 15 meters of where she disappeared. If the opponent knows which shadow Lexa will appear from, a hit to that shadow will deal damage to Lexa. This spell cannot be used in an area with no shadows.
Strengths:
• Can be used to get away from an enemy
• Can be used to close the gap between Lexa and an enemy
• Very useful spell due to the ways Lexa can mess with people
Weaknesses:
• If the opponent knows what shadow Lexa will disappear to, and hits that shadow, Lexa will take damage from the attack
• Limited range of areas Lexa can pop up from (15 meters)
• If the area has no shadows in it, Lexa can't use this spell
• If Lexa is hit when she is turning into a shadow, that damage is still taken
