Compaint towards a post in the current event.

To Whom it may Concern,

i know that due to a recent event there has been a good amount of whiplash. I was one of the people who voiced my concern regarding said issue. The issue in question is in regard to the most recent post of Heero in the Priory Event in the thread located in the Magnolia location. I have seen the remarks, arguing, and general attack of both Heero and the decision of the staff t just go with the post as is. After speaking with both staff and many players both in the thread and not, it seems the problem is that rather then explaining in detail the issue, the players have been attacking the staff with comments and negative feed back rather then pointing out the issue.

After speaking with a lot of the people i have been able to pinpoint the issue to a more refine problem. The players are not mad at Heero for his post; However, they do feel his post was over the top and suffers from "Main Character Syndrome", and the players are not mad's at the staff's choice as it was made to help move the plot along without dealing with obvious outrageous issues. However, the problem the players have is that by just "accepting" the obvious issue, the staff it promoting this kind of outrageous posts, and actions by certain players. If the issues are not addressed then the problem will continue into the future and potentially get worse. Another issue that has lended itself to this is the issue regarding the actually power levels and abilities of ranks themselves. So far the best answer i have received about how to gauge power is that the Rank above you is generally considered "Twice" as strong as the rank below it. This is never really explained, and in truth for the sake of the site, shouldn't be. However, it does lend itself tot he issue that H ranks seem to push their powers into the realm of demi-god levels. This is seen in Heero's post as he creates the issue at hand by

"Running down the street like Sonic the Hedgehog on water, a cool moment where Heero passed Simon also moving at superspeed running on the water happened as Heero threw him a FT hand sign in slow motion as he passed him. Flipping forward over a Trash Dumpster, he swore he saw a little girl inside of it as the dumpster floated by (Bys). Leaping forward off of the water once more, and rocketing into the air. A literal sonic BOOM went off; as the skies began to dim...

The clouds above began to whirl as if some insanely powerful event was about to happen. Suddenly from nowhere; Heero came flying around the city of magnolia at break neck speeds. He would loop around the city more times than one could count; creating a HUGE tornado.

The water itself began to whirl and spin beneath the city; as houses groaned and croaked; in the massive tornado that was beyond F-5 class; it literally surrounded the city. The tornado itself began to whip up with water; as the streets began to run dry in certain areas. "

He basically without magic starts to run so fast around the outskirts of the city he creates a tornado "Beyond F-5 class". Even if this was not the issue, the fact that physics were COMPLETELY ignored is another issue. Which brings the issue back to the point stated above. The issue lies in the fact that allowing this will continue to perpetuate most posts, and acts like this taking away from the fun of RPing for many of us.
Also to be noted in this, is that fact that he killed more then just his own enemy in this act which took away from post a lot for the lower ranked people had planned and we enjoying as it played into their characters well.

Thirdly, its an rp site. People will play it how they see best for themselves or as most accurate for their characters. The fact that Heero did this stuff is something for them to react to rather than complain about. It gives quite a lot of reaction points for a post. 'Like holy shit what the heck was that'



I know he did a lot in one post, but tbh with how H ranks were defined at the time this sort of stuff was almost allowed perfectly by our rules.

H ranks compared to D ranks (who are meant to be around peak human fitness) were 48 times strong, faster etc. That means if we take the average peak human running speed at 18mph then without any magic whatsoever a H rank mage was capable of running at 864 mph.

That is likely enough, based on comics and the like, to run on water without issue. On top of that Heero has the monkey king lineage. That provided a 50% boost on top of that.

This puts his speed up to around 1300mph.

This likely isn't enough to cause a tornado, but what they don't realise is (even without his magic approved and I have no idea why that is) Heero is a H rank sky demon slayer. As such doing stuff with the wind is totally within his remit. Oh...and that's another thing. He's a slayer so thats another 25% physical boost. That probably puts him at around 1600mph.

This was with how the rules were before the event where everything was doubled and the gap between H and S was a tripling.


This has been adjusted and shouldn't be as big a deal in future events, but there is little that can be done
