"Ah...Ah.. AHCHOO!!" The blue haired mage wiped his nose after his sneeze. This was the first time he had been in a cold area without his old magic that helped him a lot against anything cold due to it being a fire magic. He even was wearing a snow coat which was a piece of clothing he had never worn in his life. "Ugh... Now I can see what others went through when it was cold out like this.." He continued to wipe his nose as he walked through the snow.
Lumina and him had been given a tip before heading to the snowy area. They were tipped off to a woman being held captive that was going to be sacrificed to give birth to a demon. He was instantly interested upon hearing that Cor Torva were the ones doing this as well as it being demon related. Only thing was the source of the tip could get them into issues. "Lumi, are you sure we could trust that old man? He is an enemy after all so we are probably just walking into a trap here." He grunted at the thought. "Never mind. I'm sure of it being a trap for us to walk into. How do I get pulled into these situations...?"
They had traveled most of the way using a rented magic four-wheeler but had found that they would need to travel the rest of it on foot with how the area they were now walking on was half frozen over lake. So not only did they have to walk but they had to watch where they were walking and how they were walking. "Are we even sure that this building he told us existed really does even exist?"
He had reverted a bit back to his old self due to how he had never dealt with cold again. It was almost as if the cold had pulled out his old childish self back out. He sighed realizing this. "You know, never mind all the stuff I have said. We are here to save someone and stop Cor Torva. Either way I get to get more revenge against them..." He continued trekking through the snow and ice with his partner who seemed to be short with her responses and sort of sluggish in the snow. He was tempted to go help her move but figured she needed to learn how to fend for herself more and not rely on him so much. This would be a sort of lesson for her from him.

Lumina had enjoyed the ride on the four wheeler while it had lasted, she had been able to keep warm by hugging up on Cirven. But now that they had to walk she was feeling it, her body was slow to respond and she really didn't feel like talking. She needed to eat something to get some of her energy back, but there was nothing out here to eat. She trudged on keeping a bit behind Cirven, she heard him say something so she sped up a little. He was just complaining about the cold, from what she knew he had once been a ice mage or something. They walked for a bit longer until he spoke again, he was asking about if she believed Vandris, "He could have killed me or captured me... but he didn't... And even if it is a trap we should spring it and destroy the idiots who set it." Lumina show unusual clarity for who she was. She kept walking hoping that Vandris had not set them up, somehow she felt he was telling the truth and that he was not their enemy by choice.
Lumina kept walking letting Cirven do his ranting, he really did have a thing against these people, perhaps one of these days she would ask why. But for now she would just keep walking, or she would have if she had not seen a strange formation of ice. She stopped Cirven by tugging on his coat. "Cirven... There." She pointed at the Shape. "Nature does not work in straight-lines... only you humans do that." Lumina was pointing at a small, what appeared to be diagonal raise in the snow, off in the distance. The shape was made to look natural and to anyone not bound to nature would have missed it, but Lumina was bound to nature in such a intimate nature that she would notice something man made a mile away, or in this case two.

Cirven looked towards the thing that his partner had pointed at. The way the landscape was formed where she pointed was pretty weird especially for how everything else looked around it. "That is pretty weird.." He then turned his attention to Lumina slightly annoyed but managed to not show it on his face. "By the way, I'm as human as you are, plant." He sighed thinking how oblivious she could be to some things at times.
He started to move towards the weird shaped area and didn't wait for Lumina really figuring she would follow him anyways. "Lumi, if anything happens try to actually think a bit before you leap into things. I will not be able to back up each step you take as we are going into this. I'm expecting them to give a lot of resistance. More than they have given us before because this is one of their own bases. You understand?" He disliked it back he had to take a big brother and/or as leadership position with Lumina in order for her to do things right. If he didn't she probably would run into a lot more trouble.
The two continued to walk across the ice but Cirven started to feel uneasy. Something was right. They were too close to the enemy for them to not have some sort of defenses somewhere. He didn't think that they would be that confident in their hiding of this base to not have any sort of precaution up. "Keep all of you senses up. We are getting close now."
Just as he finished speaking, as if on cue, multiple enemies jumped up from under the ice to attack the duo. Cirven jumped back and called Irritum out in the form of a small hair pin he had in his hair. The hair pin then became enveloped in a white light which expanded and formed into a floating sword.

Lumina didn't respond to anything Cirven said, she was cold and felt like she was wilting, it was a odd sensation. She was feeling slower and slower the longer she was out in the ice and snow, she gave a involuntary shudder. "But why the hell did he have to send us here." She complained out-loud. There was a crunching noise as 12 men jumped out of what could be best described as Spider holes. Lumina blinked at the men, 6 lumbering giant's for men and 6 normal looking soldiers. For some reason the thought of a fight seemed really appealing, she cracked her neck. "well then i guess I'm up for a fight." Lumina smiled meekly, she would not be able to use her magic in this weather, not that there were any plants for her to use other then the seeds in her pocket. She walked right up to one of the larger men, who blinked at her dumbly. She cocked her head at the man as he reeled back to punch her, she just spun out of the way, kicking the man in the nuts with all her might. The brute made a face as the others around him grimaced as he fell to his knees, temporarily out of combat. Lumina stepped past the man, putting her hand on the side of his head and pushing, he tipped over into the snow still holding his groin. "Hello!" Lumina said giving a short wave, the men blinked at her actions clearly confused. When in truth she was giving Cirven a distraction, which lasted like a whole three seconds for them to realize that she was stalling. They charged at her and Cirven weapons drawn, Lumina just fell back as they charged at her. "Damn why do they have to be so smart." Lumina bitched out loud as she ducked on of the brutes fists. "hey Cirven any day now!"

Cirven was about to rush towards his enemies but stopped as his partner moved herself closer to the enemy herself. He slowly moved to meet her but stopped as she kicked one of the bigger men in the groin. He was completely thrown off by it. "What is she really planning to do here?' was all he could think of as he had a feeling come over his body as if the kick had somehow sent the pain to him too. His stomach felt somewhat queasy from it all but he quickly figured out what was going on in the short time. A distraction.
The action of Lumina surprised him because she usually did not show that she put much thought into things like she had just did. Cirven figured it was from learning more about the world and how things were. She called out to him as the men charged to them. "There is a certain timing for everything, Lumi. I have a plan..." He spoke out under his breath as the men closed in on her. He knew with her enhanced senses she would hear him. He moved Irritum to get in front of her as the men closed in. "This should work..." Irritum then was swarmed in a white light and morphed into a giant blade causing the men to attempt to stop in their charge but it was too late as it was slammed into 3 brutes and 3 regular patrol sending them barreling across the ice the opposite way of the others who continued charging.
"Best I could do right now. You take the six others while I deal with these guys." He ran off away from her in pursuit of the men who he had just hit while Irritum morphed back into its base form and followed him.
