-The wolf among us- {Guild Event}

Rekka was enjoying a nice nap she had slaughtered some poor fools earlier as she still had the blood on her clothing from one of her famous hunts. She had been really tired lately as she loved Daiki but these new feelings she had really drained her she was snot used to caring about anyone but herself. Now she always felt worried something could happen to her so she always focused half her thoughts on her. Suddenly she heard the sound of the alarm as she sat up blinking several times, a intruder into this guild that seemed very unlikely as she sighed and began to make her way out of her room. She headed toward where the rush of people had headed as she could smell the blood in the air, death had happened and recently at that her sword wanting to taste blood with the scent in the air. She could see the guards horrified faces this was clearly a new guard if this made him panic she could see the body's cut off guts and limbs everywhere as she could see organs that went to waste. She sighed a bit as whoever did this was so wasteful no meat was taken no organs had been removed whoever did this was a pathetic amateur compared to her.

"Hum interesting to think someone had the guts and nerve to attack our guild hall...whoever it is has a big set of testicles because they should know we kill for much lesser things."

She looked over at some of the guards as they saw the blood on her and began to back away, she shook her head no she had not done this and anyone in the guild would likely know it was not her. To many inconsistencies with the way she killed plus the waste of organs and meat was outside of her normal style.

"What if we were to synch it up with the lacrima dust pathway matrix?" suggested the silver-haired mage as he looked over some papers in his room. Each of them detailed a set of various weapons and suits of armour. "Then there's the matter of dealing with the intrinsic feedback from the secondary neutrino segways." said Pride, causing the mortal host to sigh and lean back.

"There has to be a way of dealing with all three Slayer types in the one set." he grumbled. He had managed to acquire a few parts from that Ladon beast that had struck Clover Town a while back, the real one not those copies, but they were slowly losing their potency. Dragon body parts and blood samples were tricky things to correctly store for later use. With the disappearance of his "team", the plan to invade the Underworld was on indefinite hold... so unless he could find a full blooded demon running around the world of Earthland somewhere, that was out of the question.

He'd heard rumours about angels and weakened gods being hidden in the ranks of the legal guilds, but the current situation required more evidence than mere rumours to validate a hunt for that. Speaking of hunts, the alarm decided to ring out across the Guild Hall, raising his eyebrow. "Who in the world would be stupid enough to try and attack us here?" said Za'cha as he left his room and made for the hall. He looked at the mess splattered around and shook his head. "This is sloppy. Whoever these "real Savages" are, they placed far too much emphasis on being as obvious as possible." he muttered to himself before clearing his throat and looking out at the assembled mages.

"ALL RIGHT YOU LOT!" he roared to ensure their attention. "It would appear that we've got some unwanted guests amongst us this evening. I want everyone to find and report to their Pillar Heads immediately. We're going to find these people, and then... well, I'm sure we can all imagine how we're going to treat our guests." he said with a smirk, some members chuckling at the unspoken imagery passing through their minds.

Unfortunately for Dubhlainn he wanted to come along beside Harrigan but his master’s words swayed him to stay here with the other members of the guild. He wasn’t so sure on how to accept this at first but then reason came to mind and he prayed that there’d be a good reason for it. He can’t tell whether it was cruel of him to not allow him to be by his side or just a request that hints of concern about the guild during his absence. He had not time to puzzle it out and the only thing to do now is take a break from his long journey around Fiore. Dubhlainn was at peace on one of the towers of the dominion his guild resides, crafted in hard marble and stone, this structure could take several blows and explosions from siege weapons, a fortress that was constructed and carefully plotted out by the first guild master of savage skull. He watched the roads closely, eyeing on the check points that the guild has. He started taking this shift ever since the old fat blob of a guard exploded by means of an unforeseen event and also this was purely because Rekka had been devouring some of the grunts hired to take watch over the entire fortress.

Just as he grasped himself in the comfort of silence and the cold winds, the atmosphere shattered like glass as the alarm was sounded. The alarm could only mean one thing and that is the fact that the very fortress of the oldest dark guilds in fiore has unwanted visitors. Guards were yelling, spreading word that the guild master’s office has been raided; Dubhlainn can’t help but headed down wards. After hearing the report of what had happened, he striked a heavy blow to the wall to which impact cracked the very wall itself.  He didn’t take this stimulus very well; the Guildmaster’s office has been raided and soiled by the very blood of the castle’s own soldiers. His fist was hard pressed on the cracked wall as anger and aggression started to rise and the very attack wasn’t the only reason for it.

The fact that he didn’t managed to see this coming strike a blow to his face, nearly provoking him to go completely berserk. An expression of a monster flashed for a brief moment before returning to his stone cold expression. He closed his eyes and gathered his thoughts, suppressing his anger at least and remained where he was. If he came to witness the result of the attack, he’d probably lose control and go berserk and instead deduced of how the guild was infiltrated.


If so then there are only a few places to check in the dominion and it was the very places that the Glutton once patrolled. Instead of warning the guild members, Dubhlainn took the initiative to investigate the several locations of where the Glutton once guarded. He grabbed the collar of the nearest guard he can find and asked monotonously:

"Busy busy busy." Alleria thought as she watched her colleagues scurry around the room looking for possible clues. Everyone was trying their best in trying to figure out who the assailant was and how he got past the guards. "And here I thought our defenses were impregnable." she softly sighed as she propped herself from the doorway whence she was observing the busy lot. Though one must agree, such a feat was quite impressive, defiling their master's room, killing two guards on the spot and even leaving a message behind...gutsy indeed.

Alleria carefully tread the room, avoiding any disembodied limb, gut pieces or pools of blood. Seriously, she could imagine the sheer force exerted just to sever the body into pieces like this, it was like raw primal anger unleashed upon the poor defenseless guard. "Do the guard even posses any magic to begin with?" she thought as she stared at the crimson decapitated body, which still oozed blood, the thick and dull kind, the kind that appears after coagulation takes place. "Too bad their spirits moved on right away, I could have at least asked who the guilty one was."

She then turned her attention to the words written on the wall. "What the hell does that suppose to mean." She knew this were all too serious, but with Harrigan's absence, she couldnt help but think that this was all some weird test, test to know if the members were still as sharp as they once were, a test to see if who would shine in such sudden calamities, or to see if who would remain loyal in case of uprising. Then a thought crossed her mind, what if this indeed was an inside job, not necessarily the master, but what if one of the new recruits did this to instigate an upheaval. How else can they get past the guards. Then again, they were just assumptions, but she must keep an eye out for anything suspicious and keep her thoughts to herself. "For now..."

When all the mages had gathered, or at least those who were currently present at the guild. A sudden surprise turned up. The master they all thought was absent, made himself present in a rather uncommon way.

A large rectangle shaped screen appeared above all the mages. High enough so that everyone had to look up a bit, and on it was the rather annoyed face of Harrigan Crawford. The third master of Savage Skull and by far the most gruesome man who had ever lead the guild. Sure the ones before him were powerful and evil in their own way. But Harrigan was the first who truly lived for the cruelty of men.

'I swear' began Harrigan his voice still conceited and arrogant, bet with the slight yet noticeable trembling of agitation in the underline tone. 'If this about you sorry lot killing the guards for entertainment again, I will make sure you will suffer the same fate they did!!

'Apologies master, but with all do respect. We've been infiltrated...'

'We are what!!!' with a sudden burst of anger, the transparent screen that hung so casually in the air. Fluctuated and trembled even, as Harrigan's face turned from arrogant to wrathful one. With a gaze that alone could kill if the gods would allow it.

After a short explanation from one of its members, Harrigan quickly calmed down. At least to a degree where he wasn't trembling of anger anymore. His face however was still lacking of the usual smirk it wore. Showing that the guild master was still far from being amused.

'Tch.. this can't be... there are only a two methods they can really infiltrate the guild. One is through what some probably already suspected. They are among us already, hiding in plain sight as we speak. The other one... is even more troubling. The only other way they could have entered the guild. Is through the catacombs... which would mean they are indeed sav-'

Out of nowhere the transmission of Harrigan was interrupted. The screen started to distort and the last words Harrigan spoke were unclear to anyone. Someone or something had disrupted archive connection Harrigan had with the guild. And since Harrigan was clearly alive before he was cut off, it had to be done on their end.

Rekka heard others talk about how she had blood on her and laughed some, this was totally not her style anyone that thought it was her was really silly. As she saw them gather and panic asking for work schedules and other things she simply sighed and laughed some, they really must have forgotten to leave bodies like this they would have the blood on them as well. Suddenly a screen appeared in front of all of them with Harrigan talking he began to suggest what she suggested it could be a member of the guild or someone from the catacombs. Her face got a serious expression when he said this, she knew of a few things down there and this was no joke if it was running loose inside the guild. He was cut just short as she looked at the others and for the first time for any of them she had a worried look on hr face, she had been here as one of the original six members. There were certain things she knew that some of the others did not, things that were very dark secrets inside the guild.

"Well that was rather interesting it seems someone is purposefully interfering with his magic, that means they know what his magic actually is. There is several options one as he said means one of us is a traitor and will die soon, the other is a former member of SS that was punished and thrown into the catacombs ,managed to actually escape them, at least that's my theory. However to do this sort of damage... this just might be...one of the originals that got punished..."

She looked around at the others looking for any signs one of them was a traitor, she really did not know it could very well be one of them but she knew for sure it was not herself. She also had good ideas it was not most likely any of these other people either, meaning a former member that should have died in the catacombs.

Za'cha listened to all those around him, and heard Harrigan's words, coming much to the same conclusion as Rekka. He looked towards her. "Rekka, take a team down to the catacombs and purge them. Take those who are the most familiar with the depths so we can bring down whoever is down there swiftly, assuming their down there still." he said, since he couldn't see Sinali anywhere. He looked to the man trying to get the guard rotations.

"Dubhlain, gather some mages and get to work patrolling the Guild. Whoever this is has to be somewhere. Clear this place room by room, floor by floor." he ordered, not bothering to wait for the man's reply before he looked to his fellow Pillar leader. "I suggest we utilise our Pillars respective strengths to compensate the two processes. Yours for clearing this place floor by floor, mine for following into the catacombs after Rekka and Dubhlainn's advance teams start their work. Agreed?"

The Dominion guards led Dubhlainn to the security records which held the file of everyone in the security team including the guard he desired to look at. Security thinned was a dire consequence and served quite a blow due to the behavior and relationships between those who are mages and those who aren’t and some ended up dead by the hands of treachery. His fingers walked down to the right letter and drew open the folder, flipping a few pages before finally arriving to the desire results he so longed to see. Apparently Bob was supposed to guard the following places this week, the guildmaster’s office, the north entrance that leads to the marsh to which both places didn’t make much sense since the pathway leading to the marsh has an open vision to one of the guard towers, they could have reported suspicious activity right away if they could, as he was about to look upon the last place where the fallen guard was supposed to be posted at, the voice of his guildmaster echoed throughout the entire dominion, having heard Lord Harrigan’s voice was somewhat refreshing to him as it would raise the morale of all those who serve under him and those who swore under the flagship of their guild.

He chuckled when Harrigan started exclaiming to the actual members of the guild who would always “Diminish security” as their playful instincts and habits never cease to fade even under Lord harrigan’s orders thus it be better if there were a purge of these “liabilities”. Dubhlainn read the last place where the guard had worked and by the time the place was stated, Dubhlainn threw the folder away and slammed open the door as he exited the security records office. The guildmaster’s voice dissipated and there was no time for hesitation as he makes his way through the armory to pick up some inventory. Having arrived after Rekka’s party was sent down to investigate, Zacha’s words halted him dead in his tracks. Orders were given and Dubhlainn had no other choice but to comply, as he stopped to summon a few guards and mages with his side. It would be a taxing chore having a small division to check every corner of the Fortress especially the hidden passageways that Dubh himself had made familiar with whereas one of them leads to the catacombs unlike the usual entrance.

Perhaps it was best to leave Zacha be, after all the Pillar of Conviction serves their guildmaster with such loyalty that they would always answer to high priorities. There’s indeed a bright side to all this, at least Rekka isn’t going to be around to pester him.

Back to the directive, rallying whatever is left of the security staff and leading such a small division he ordered the guards to lockdown the entire citadel, every door that may lead into the place must be sealed off completely and watched closely. With some of Mikomi’s faction scaling the dominion’s perimeter for clues, Dubhlainn divided teams of five, separating them to inspect the dorm rooms, courtyard, the armory, the dining hall and ordered them to make a thorough search. Two of Mikomi’s men then accompanied him as Dubhlainn began his search. Perhaps he should take the luxury to gather a bit of information about the “Old members of the Guild” and gain insight; perhaps Thorn would answer his inquiry.

As he passed Mikomi, he couldn’t help but flashed a smile as the stone faced expression quickly formed afterwards.


It took some time to sweep ground level as they proceed to enter the second level. Guards were also posted in any access to the higher levels above to gain a wide area of vision of the entire fort; tactics were resorted because of the lack of members in the security team.

"Well I got that wrong...unless this was just a rouse too and all of this was part of a very crazy and elaborate plan." thought the green haired menace. "But then again, I dont take Harrigan to be the guy to take the extra mile just for something as trivial as that." And like an epiphany it hit her, they really are in deep shit. Just then, she felt a hand touch her by the shoulder. "What the hell!" she exclaimed as turned around to see who the owner of the hand was. "Oh its just you." It was Mikomi Ariel, the pillar of hidden daggers. "I wonder what she wants with me." She was about to voice out her thoughts but before she could say anything further, the woman in front of her gave her a stern lecturing for staring at stuff and losing track of time by getting lost in her own thoughts, which was what she was doing then.  Judging from the look on her face, she knew she couldn't say no so she just nodded at everything she said and followed her.

"Why do I have to go with her." Alleria stared at the woman who was leading her. She was attractive and all but she is so serious...and serious. "How could she ever sack a guy with that kind of attitude. Just then, they passed by Dubhlain and notice the smile she flashed her way."Well well, it seems even the most prickly flower can still attract a bee." Aleria suppressed the giggle that was threatening to escape. To distract herself she decided to open a conversation with Mikomi. "So...what we going to do now?"

'They're coming straight for us' somehow humming and speaking at the same time. Void, the strange being that had the ability to nullify all magic, had sensed the Savage Skull troops that marched straight into the catacombs. 'They're with many...'

'kekeke, that won't be enough' simultaneously with the unknown responding voice, tens of crimson red eyes would lid up in the surrounding darkness around Void. 'Yes... we hunger for a kill' said another voice coming from a different set of red eyes. 'We will devour them'
Slowly but certain the first of this group started to walk out of the shadow, revealing his entire being as the dim lid light of a nearby torch fell upon him. He was panting, and sweating heavily, as if he had trouble containing himself. Containing the bloodlust inside of him. Yet he wasn't alone, one by one others stepped out of the darkness as well. All clad in the same attire. Shredded pieces of black cloth, with a skull mask to hide their faces. They were the Hikitori, assassins from the unknown assailant. Dead set on eradicating the other Savages.



'My my, will you look at that dear. It seems they have found the message you have left behind.' even though his voice sounded amused. It was hard to tell if he really was , since a mask hid the persons real face. However judging from the mask itself, you could say the man was always amused. As upon it was drawn a broad grinning smile, that for bode nothing but ill acts.

'aaah already?!' pouting and with a whiny voice, a  young girl stepped next to the man into the light. 'I don't like this Chesire! I've done my best to create something beautiful! And those fake Savages just found them right away!!'

'I know dear' responded the masked man, who apparently was known as Chesire. 'But don't fret, it appears that we are having guests soon enough. In matter of fact, they're already on our floor.'

'Are they?!' Really?!' squealed the girl in almost ecstasy, while tightening the grip on her stuffed doll.
'Then it is really time for me and Cuddles to play!!' Without sharing any further info on who Cuddles might even be she ran off into the halls of the guild. Hoping to find someone she could play with soon.

'Oh my... children these days.'

So she was ordered to go down to the catacombs as she glared at Za'Cha she would go down there but not because he told her to. No she wanted a chance to meet some old friends and if so be it kill some old friends. She knew she was right this was one of the splinter groups she was unsure who it was but several people came to mind and she hoped one of them was not it. She motioned for her guards to follow her, all she felt they were was bait to lure the enemy out and would treat them as such. She would move cautiously into the catacombs as she would begin to look around sniffing the air, a certain stench filled the air.

"I know you are down here just come out and play already, I will love to play games with you... I am a helpless girl look at me what harm could I possibly cause to you scary guys... I am so scared.... please don't hurt me..."

As she would begin to laugh while still looking around this was a obvious joke as she began to manically laugh. She wanted to play as she pulled her sword and began to drag the tip along the floor, they thought they would be hunting her but it was the opposite she would be hunting them.

"One, two Rekka's coming for you... three four you better shut the door... five six you better grab you dicks... seven eight you better stay awake... nine ten you are already dead..."

She continued her maniacal laughter as she walked further into the catacombs the guards with her looked at her more worried she would kill them over the enemies. She moved close to the corner as she could hear one close by her pulse increasing she wanted to cut him apart so bad, the taste of the flesh as she ran her hand down her chest.

"Your message says you are the true Savage Skull did you forget I was a original, and as I remember I was far scarier then most anyone else. Now, I agree a lot of wussy pieces of dog shit are in the guild, but I happen to be one of the old guard, I will make you have suffering and misery you little rat shits."

Za'cha nodded at Mikomi's words. "I don't like it any better, but the catacombs are far too damned expansive... and nobody really knows how far or deep they go." he said to her quietly. "Besides, this way if anything gets past us and is flushed up to the surface, we can trap them between our groups like a hammer and anvil. Least thats my ultimate hope." he confided in his fellow Pillar head before he took his forces and followed Rekka's team down into the depths of the catacombs.

He let the cannibal take the lead, utilising her natural talents and abilities like a hunter would a bloodhound. She may not take kindly to orders, but the fact that she descended down here at least implied their objectives and goals were aligned... and for now, that was good enough for the Exquip mage. He stretched his fingers, casting his eyes around into the gloom, readying himself to cast at any time.

It was then that they caught sight of their target... or at least the target's own version of hunting dogs. "I don't suppose you lot would be willing to just tell us where your boss is now would you?" he quipped, knowing full well that they wouldn't cooperate, but it was always polite to give them the option of surrender at the very least. He took in their skull masks, tattered black cloths, and for the most part lean bodies that were straining at something... "Berserker assassin's... great..." he grumbled to himself.

"Let them make the first move, let them reveal their tactics and magics... then we will strike them down." informed the Dark Celestial Spirit within his mind, the silver-haired mage nodding slightly, keeping his eyes on them. It looked like it was going to be tight close quarters fighting against a foe that would potentially be strong and fast... he'd have to go on the defensive yet still be able to strike them down. He smirked at the situation. "Finally, something to really test myself with." he said aloud as the slaughter within the catacombs was about to commence.

Thorn watched from a both everyone's head her rest interrupted by the booming of Harrigan's voice now as she looked down her eyes scanned the room her search was not successful Sinali was not there witch meant she was on a job, this could mean the worst thing for Sinali as she could be blamed Thorn would not let that happen she knew Sinali to well she was to loyal to do anything like this.

Swinging down off her ledge she thought for a moment before coming to a desition and walked over to another pillar leader who she believed was named Za'cha, she had never come into contact with him for very long and this would be a first atturly speaking with him directly but Thorn had little other choice "Sorry sir but Sinali is not around to report to how can I assist!" she asked lightly her hand shock slightly with anger. Thorn could not believe someone would do this to the guild not one of there own, maybe an old member but not one that was part of the guild now it was to risky unless they really wished for there body to be broken in a hundred different ways.

It moves and travels throughout the guild hall like a shockwave, a gust of wind permeating from one source now spread open its wings in order to receive and fill the structure with the very wind she makes. Dubhlainn’s team cleared off the third floor and now climbing up to the fourth starting from its entrance, the 4th floor is the very point where one can overlook what goes beyond the wall of Savage Skull, well at least a part of it would, it’s been divided by various structures, some of which housed living quarters for some members of the guild including the multipurpose hall. As the gust of wind makes its impacts one of the assassins hides in the shadows while the other stayed close. Mikomi really did trained her men well but perhaps its time Dubhlainn should do the same though he might not be a leader at the very least train the security teams to put up a good fight and that they not fall victim to some of the mages here such as Rekka and Sinali.

They prey on the weak and unfortunately the security staff falls under that category of weak, at least Guard Bob was stronger than the rest, he did after all attempted to devour one of the mages here, probably mimicking Rekka.

As Dubhlainn headed to the fourth floor there was a commotion, Dubhlainn could hear guards shouting almost as if they found one of the culprits. Having heard this, one of Rekka’s men flew out the window, unsure where he might be heading, either to report to his Pillar head that her spell bore fruit to expected results or positioned himself for a chance to strike and cover for Dubhlainn. Uncertain where the other assassin had hid Dubhlainn pressed forward, stepping closer to where the guards were shouting at.

“Little brat, Identify yourself!” One of the pikeman shouted, they were in the Multi-purpose hall. The Axeman and another mage stepped in positioning themselves around who they identified as a little girl.

“It seems I extended a bit too far knowing how durable this team was, and I don’t think the two of us is enough to hold them off.” If conflict arises, Dubhlainn with one of Mikomi’s men would have no choice to engage and unfortunately for Dubhlainn he can’t use his magic not when Mikomi’s men are watching and preferred not to use it though it did embody the idea of “Savage Skull” he simply refused it considering it at a sign of weakness.

Now let’s see what you’re capable off… strange knight. Muttered one of Mikomi's men.

It seems Mikomi was right in giving the warning shot for no sooner had she fired the shot, they heard one of Mikomi's men shout. Rushing towards the direction of the howl, they found Dubhlain and some of Mikomi's men ogling over something or someone. The lot seemed to have found the culprit and are keeping it at bay for, well at least for now. "A girl?!" She was a bit shocked at first to learn that it was a young girl. She was expecting it to be a horrid looking beast or at least a huge burly man, after all, it would take a lot of sheer power to eviscerate someone, but she of all people should know that in this world that they lived in, looks can be deceiving.

More guards arrived at the scene and backed up the team of Dubhlain and Mikomi's men. "Getting lost in your thoughts again!" She thought as she was brought back to the then and now when one of the responding guards accidentally bumped her. Now there were six guards and one mage, but she still cant shake off the feeling that something was off, that their side was still on the losing end even with the given numbers. That was until she saw the weird looking plushie that the girl was clutching. Her eyes widened upon the realization. Wasting no time summoned her sword and armor and scrambled towards the team detaining the seemingly innocent girl.

But even before she could reach halfway, a mysterious masked man appeared and stopped her in her tracks. "Where do you think you're going?" Alleria jumped back immediately, avoiding any unwanted confrontation with the mysterious intruder. The man looked sharp with his red tuxedo and pleated striped pants. The man removed his top hat as he bowed and said  "I am sorry to intrude but I can't let you interfere with the little." The man flicked his hat back on and gestured towards the little girl about to engage Dubhlain's team and continued  "For you see my dear, the most beautiful flowers are those that are bathed in the blood and life of the fallen. " His posture then changed as he waved his hand as if was wiping something from the air, as he did, strange runic markings began to appear repeatedly behind him till it filled the gap of the whole hallway. "That is why, I cant let you pass."
