Even the law can have fun!
Sasha had woken up with a rather aggravated attitude. Not necessarily because of having to get up, but the idea of having to attend a meeting seemed a bit of a farce. Meetings were so boring and annoying~ If only they had allowed a certain amount of passes, there would gladly be the chance she would skip out on it because well... Again, meetings are pretty boring. The only fun part is when she would think to show up out of spite for the fact of the formalities, coming in an attire that was less suited for the image of a 'knight' to the public. Granted the public had already come to know her normal idea of an attire when she was and wasn't on duty. She was just lucky enough that they hadn't decided to write her up or warn to release her if she had continued her antics of a "uniform" as Sasha would claim it to be. Truthfully, it was her most adored and comfy outfit, and even though wearing a simple shirt and skirt would suffice, she could never have as much fun in anything else but MAYBE a nurses outfit... OH and a maid's outfit.. the more sexy lookin' ones of course-- Which low and behold she had stored away with the rest of her outfits. Fun was all of what Sasha was about. Whether she had to do it to cheer people up or to have a little fun herself, she always ended up having some despite it all anyway. Of course, even through it all Sasha had this idea in mind of having a time when she could or would do something.. well pervertedly teasing, and when she shouldn't, couldn't or wouldn't. Let's admit it, calling it anything else is a bit of a farce and even Sasha would come to admit it to be perverted, but the most fun ways to joke with people were in that kind of manner, and if someone didn't like it, well they had her utmost apology and for sure being sincere as well.

Despite her choice of a routine in outfits, a mandatory meeting seemed to be a little more than troublesome if she were to show up in her normal choice, she had come to be a little more prepared for the occasion. Even in the event of the ball, being respectful to the host was something that Sasha made sure that she would take into account, and so she had done just that. Thinking back on it... She had come to wonder if anyone from the Rune Knights aside from her had showed up at all. She had thought at least one had come up, but to her memory she couldn't piece together if she saw anyone there that she could remember. Unlike the ball, Sasha hadn't chosen the same outfit she had on then, but she chose a more fashionable pick for a casual, but formal wear. With a bit of a stretch, Sasha yawned as she had come to the headquarters rather large meeting area. She entered the room and shut the door behind her, looking around at the empty room. A long round table with at least a dozen or so chairs had sat around, vacant. The fact she was first made her facepalm and sigh with a bit of an annoyance, but on the upside she wouldn't have to worry about the idea of being late and having the moment be really awkward.. so there was that. She began to walk toward the left side, rounding until she stopped at a seat just maybe two away from the very center chair and took a seat, kicking her feet up onto the table and lacing her fingers behind her head and resting her head as she waited for the others to show up.

OOC: Intro topics are not my strong suit at all.. sorry if isn't that well done... x.x

    Tip, tap, tip, tap

Her boots clicked upon the stone creating a soft but comforting sound to Kuro. The boots she wore had clearly seen more than a bit of travelling but they held up thus far. The Rune Knight headquarters was in her line of vision, a somewhat grand building that housed the equivalent of Fiore's police force. They handled all sorts of tasks from the collecting of information, settling disputes, billing rowdy guilds for any damages they might have caused, and most importantly capturing dark mages. Beings that had used their magic for petty and atrocious crimes alike, regardless of the level of harm or the intention behind the crime, all dark mages were like a plague upon Fiore.

"And these Rune Knights aren't going to vaccinate this plague."

The thought was accompanied with a frown. It was one of the reasons that the dark haired woman had decided to join the Rune Knights. She wanted to put an end to dark mages, not just because of the personal injustice that she had at their hands, but to prevent the creation of further victims like herself. "No, I'm not a victim." She shook her head, giving a small slap to her cheek. She would not pity herself because of her current condition, if anything it was something that would strengthen her. It was the very thing that caused her to realize just how truly evil dark mages were, and most importantly it was what made her begin her new life. Her little condition was something that isolated her from others forcing her to live her life as if there was some sort of glass barrier between her and everyone else. She could see them, she could feel them, and they could even share moments of insignificance such as the pitter patter of rain or the tapping of her boots. However, she would almost miss the most vital part of any being, of even herself, and despite living in such a noisy world, her own world might as well have been completely silent because it was missing the most important thing of all.

    Voices

Icy blue eyes glanced between each person she passed on her way to the headquarters. Most of them were civilians returning or heading there to report their problems and the like. She could hear their shoes upon the ground, or the slight rustle of their clothes, but when their mouths moved to speak? Well, Kuro did not hear a single thing. Yet of course there were ways to understand others. "She has a missing cat, there's a suspicious character lurking around their home," Reading their lips provided her all the information she needed, it wasn't the same as simply hearing their voices and it certainly took a lot of practice to reach her level of lip reading but it was better than not being able to understand others whatsoever.

    ~*~

The inside of the Rune Knight headquarters was just as impressive as the outside. However, finding someone to discuss joining their ranks proved to be more of a challenge. It was easy enough finding someone to report problems to but that wasn't what she was here for. Wandering about aimlessly Kuro decided that she would eventually happen upon a Rune Knight in the building, she had to! It wasn't as if they were all in some sort of meeting or anything. Passing by a mirror Kuro took a minute to check her appearance, straightening out her red coat, tightening her scarf, and most importantly straightening out her dark locks of hair. Once she was satisfied with her appearance Kuro continued on through the headquarters, noting that they lacked some security considering how easily she had just wandered right in.

A certain sign upon a door caught her attention, "Meeting in progress" it stated. Perhaps she wasn't wrong and all the Rune Knights just so happened to be in a meeting together. Deciding that she was just as important as some meeting, Kuro creaked the door open peering into the interior of the room. There were plenty of chairs within but only one of them was occupied by a silver haired girl. Frowning, still peering inside, Kuro made new move to enter. The girl didn't really look like a Rune Knight...

"Change is impossible in this fog of ignorance." ~Itachi Uchiha

And as the Rune Knights headquarters got bigger, Nagato's patience did also. Of course, the young mage would be the only one to drain so much mana from his body that simple electrical teleportation would be unusable. Rolling his eyes to himself, he adjusted the white cloth on his neck, while fixing the black cloak that covered his body. It seemed every few minutes he was adjusting it as the OCD deep in his veins took over. It seemed like everything that not was not tidy and neat boil Nagato's blood.

"Why would the blasted Rune Knights call a meeting at a time like this?"

The blasted group Nagato belonged to needed his attention not only while he was on a job, but while he was arresting dark mages also. The cold-blooded classification Nagato used to belong too were terrorizing a village of civilians only trying to survive with bare minimum. It saddened the mage. Not only would his dark past be permanently in his conscious, but his body count crept into the triple digits.

    Yet they all deserved it.

Arriving in his small yet effective bachelor pad, the mage instantly ripped the dirty and worn-out cloak off as it found a new home in the laundry basket. Bills piled on the dining room table, collecting as much dust as a grandfather clock in the house of an old man. The apartment could almost be described as 'classy' with Romanesque pictures decorating the walls. It was almost as if one stayed quiet, one would hear 'Beethoven's Symphony' in the background as they devoured delicious cheese and sipped delectable wine. Classy.

Stumbling into his room after running up a hot bath, Nagato stripped off his trademark jogging suit and boots. The white cloth tied around his neck was ripped off. It was obvious to see he enjoyed the privacy living alone came with as the mage wasted no time walking around in the nude. Laying down in a sea of bubbles, Nagato body and mind fell into a state of relaxation.

Swinging open the doors of his new headquarters, Nagato vision was filled with the faces of civilians desperately needing to file reports. It was such a shame how chaotic the building was. Papers flew while curses were shout and families cried. Tears hit the ground as pens hit paper and bells were rung to signal the next victim in need of help. Nagato immensely wished to restore order not only in the Rune Knights and Magic Council, but in Fiore as a whole.

Yet wouldn't the world be such a better place without them?

Dressed in his trademark attire, Nagato entered the room that had the sign, "Meeting in Progress" plastered on the door. He was met with the stares of two female Rune Knights, both of which he had never saw or heard of before. Then again, it wasn't like Nagato was the first person to go around greeting and meeting every single soul. He was relaxed and laid-back, but not afraid to take charge in a battle scenario.

And would kill anyone if needed.

After a long and awkward silence, the mage sparked a conversation.

"Hello, I'm positive I have never met either of you. My name's Nagato Namikaze. Yoroshiku."

Post by Mina 28th August 2015, 1:41 am

If one listened closely to the furthest back corner of the Rune Knights living quarters you’d hear a mysterious pounding and smashing that came from last room hidden deep in the building. Claymore spent hours turning his quant little room into what one would most likely call a rock quarry. Boulders of different shapes, sizes, and types littered the ground from one end to the other. One could barely walk in the room without somehow stumbling over a decent size pebble. However, none of this bothered Claymore. To him the entire room was his canvases, his sanctuary, a place of relaxation and determination all mixed into one.

Claymore grabbed the biggest boulder he could muster in his room and dragged it to the very center. There he placed it over a magical circle that had been dug into the dirt that had now covered the floor. In his first few days there Claymore took it upon himself to dismantle the wooden floorboards of his room so he could have access to all the clay dirt that formed the base of the buildings structure. This provided him a place to work so that he could still maintain his knightly duties and still practice his arts at the same time. Claymore held his thumb in a way that people do when lining up objects making sure that he had placed the rock in the proper spot. For if even one part of the rock was even slightly out of place then the whole project would be ruined and all the effort would have been wasted.

With a satisfied look upon his face Claymore took a deep breath before bending down and placing his hands on the outer edge of the circle. With one hard push he sent magical energy from his arms into the circle turning the boulder into a white blur. He sat there for a few seconds adjusting his power as the boulder began to shift and rise before finally shifting into a new shape. When the light had dimmed a statue stood in place of where the boulder was. It almost brought a tear to his eyes as he gazed upon the masterpiece that was of him but with the addition of upper body armor. It had taken him days to come up with the perfect statue to go along with the others in his arsenal of magic.

Claymore was about to hug the statue when he noticed the clock hanging on the wall in front of him. There was a scheduled meeting of the other Rune Knights that he had to get to and he couldn’t really afford to take any more time on his crafts. He merely patted the statue on the chest and walked away to his closet changing out of his dirty clothes and into a fresh pair for the meetings. He went with his usual traditional garments with the open colorful vest revealing his powerful chest. Claymore stopped in front of the mirror that stood next to his bed and carefully examined his mustache making sure that everything had been neatly combed and in its proper place. Once he felt that he was presentable enough he walked out into the empty hallway and strutted his way down to the meeting room.

Once he had found the room that had been marked with the “Meeting in Progress” he opened the door and gazed upon the other people that had already arrived. With one smooth gestured he held out one hand and crossed the other over his chest and bent slightly forward. “Greetings my fellow Knights. The GLORIOUS Claymore has finally arrived.”

    Show Time~
Sasha let out a little bit of a yawn as she sat alone in the room. It was a real pain in the ass to be here alone without a person here to at least talk to and enjoy some small company before everyone else would come. However... It seemed like she would have to suffer with being the only person for some time she wouldn't know, but it wasn't like anyone was gonna be late really. That was just a little bit of a sparse thing to be honest. It was about 15 minutes before the meeting as set to begin anyway, so there was time to chill out and have some time to relax before there was a need to be "formal" and "upright" like people would have wanted. All that stuff was just boring and frankly unnecessary to be honest.

Her attention focused towards the ceiling for a moment and pulled over a little bit of her hair and began to fiddle around with it from just running it between her finger and thumb to doing little braids and uncoiling it. After a little more boredom, the door clicked open and creaked open slowly. A head and long, pretty looking locks of hair poked through the door and spotted the girl. Sasha smiled and waved to the girl with a bit of a lazy manner to it. "Buenos Dias, senorita~ Or.. however it's said.. multilingual crap isn't my strong suit, ahaha." She rubbed the back of her head as the quiet girl entered the room and seemed to be a little more out of place than anything, or at least that's what Sasha perceived it to be like. She sat up and looked a little more closely at this.. very cute looking girl and smiled lightly. "Are you new around here? Or.. get lost somewhere and need help? You don't need to be shy or anything." She tried to sound reassuring so she could maybe get the girl to open up a little or at least get a hi out of her or something. It was getting awkward again really quick.

Not very long after that, another person popped into the room. He seemed to be a little more upbeat and happy compared to the girl who had entered. "Yo~" She called out as a greeting, looking this boy over a little bit. Sasha hopped up and moved her seat onto the table for a moment, having her seated one way and turned enough to comfortably face the others. "I'm Sasha Martin, and it's nice to meet cha both~." She looked away from Nagato and towards the more silent of the pair of raven haired people in their presence and gave her a sweet little smile. "How 'bout you, gloomy? I'm sure you got a name to go with that pretty little face of yours." Varying on her response, it would surely beat getting a silent treatment.

A couple seconds went by and Sasha had sighed and her cheeks puffed a bit with a pout as she turned away and sat down in her seat, expanding her arms outward. "Sit those cheeks on a seat peoples! They're probably the comfiest chairs in this joint!" She smiled a little more than she had and afterward and used her arms to show that practically every other seat was open to a person. It had been then another person albeit burst into the room, making Sasha blink with a bit of a stupid face and yell out of his rather obvious arrival. She sat in silence, much like the black haired girl had done and simply tried to collect an appropriate response to that. "G-Great. It uh.. It's nice to meet you 'glorious' Claymore. Uh.. T-Take a seat I guess and uh.. we'll go on from there I suppose." Sasha seemed to be at a bit of a loss of words. It after all was the first time she had something like that happen, so it was a bit of a shock to say the least.

    we've lost it all

    & i am just a silhouette, a lifeless face you'll soon forget

Upon entering Kuro was faced with a certain problem. Her ability to read lips was extraordinary to say the least, a talent that not many people had. However, there were certain limitations to this ability. The first being that if one spoke too fast than she couldn't read the lips fast enough and the second limitation was languages other than her own. They looked foreign and strange upon others lips, seemingly make no sense. She knew it was a different language or simply some incomprehensible blabber but alas she hadn't heard others voices in years so it wasn't as if she could learn to read other languages on others lips. Praying that the girl didn't say anything of much importance in the foreign language Kuro managed to give her a small wave in return. Realizing that she was coming off as some shy, lost, little girl because of her lack of vocalization but refusing to speak Kuro had to do her best to communicate with the other girl. She shook her head to say "No" in response to Sasha's comments playing along as if she heard everything. "Ah-" She began, her voice a bit louder than necessary, and the sound seemed to catch in her throat. She had wanted to request to join but someone else had entered officially stopping her from continuing to speak.

The dark haired male that entered gained her attention, a bit delayed seeing as the only warning she received to his entrance was the sound of the door opening. She gave him another wave before returning her attention to the other girl in the room. She only caught the tail end of what she was saying seeing as she could only read one person's lips at a time. Taking her advice Kuro moved over towards one of the supposedly comfortable chairs. Being a dignified young lady, Kuro straightened out her skirt before sitting, and promptly crossed her legs. "Ah-" She began once more, loud because she didn't know what a loud voice was anymore, but other than that the actual sound of her voice was not entirely unpleasant at least not yet. However, before she could carry on into her inquiry about joining the ranks of the Rune Knights another had joined them in the room. Her reaction to his entry was a bit delayed but hopefully went unnoticed. It was hard for her to react like others, if someone spoke loud or boisterously Kuro wouldn't know the difference.

Her brows furrowed in annoyance, sharp blue eyes narrowing themselves into an icy glare. She simply wanted to join, she had even gone as far as to actually attempt to speak. Not one to have attention stolen from her, Kuro stood up abruptly, her chair clattering to the floor. If that wasn't enough she slammed her hand on the table, creating a sharp sound that almost brought a smile to her lips. "ExCUse me!" The words were awkward and fumbling out of her lips, she knew them if she read them on anothers but when it came to speaking them herself it was a different story. At one point in time she was able to speak as well if not better than any other young lady but it had been such a long time since she last heard her own voice, in fact she must have been the equivalent of a child the last time she heard it. At first of course her speaking remained the same but over the years as she talked less and less, and her own voice began to change from lack of use and because she had grown, she had simply forgotten what certain words or even vowels sounded like. Not to mention it seemed she had little to no control over her loudness but her tone at the least showed her annoyance. "I...W-Want to jOIn!" Cheeks flushed because she knew her speaking couldn't have sounded pleasant, and she hated the fact that despite she could look and act the part of a refined woman, she certainly did not sound like it. "I more than likely sound like an idiot." With an angry huff she fixed her chair before sitting down in it. Her legs crossing themselves again, as well as her arms over her chest. She wasn't sure if they would realize that she simply couldn't hear voices or rather they might think she was just stupid.

"I'm not sure which is worse."

"Change is impossible in this fog of ignorance." ~Itachi Uchiha

As he announced his name, Nagato began to look over his two female acquaintances. Sasha Martin was the more talkative one, while the one with looks almost similarly to himself was quiet and reserved. Sasha's outgoing persona seemed to be radiated and broadcasted in her speech, gestures and nature. It was almost as if she charmed everyone into paying her the utmost attention. Her personality seemed to be only describable with words such as 'off the charts' and 'out of this world. Her appearance just furthered the attention she seemed to always recieve. She was dressed casually, with light colored hair that reminded Nagato of holiness and innocence.

Yet what intrigued Nagato the most was the quiet one surprisingly.

She had dark raven hair and blue eyes that could not decide if they were cold and merciless or warm and opening. They seemed to have no set emotion, yet a slight feel of annoyance could be seen in the way she was carrying herself. Looking her over, the young mage noted their similarities. Their dark hair that broadcasted corruption, their ice blue eyes that showed a merciless nature.

    Looks are always deceiving however.

The two of them seemed so opposite, so distant from one another as she was yet to announce her name.

It was almost as if she couldn't.

Chuckling at the comment of the quiet one having a pretty face, by Sasha he turned his eyes to the door. Before it had even opened up.

This time, a figure who more so fit into the 'Rune Knight' title entered. With a mustache trimmed to perfection, he announced his entry and described himself as the 'Great Claymore.' Holding back a laugh for he did not want it to be seen as mocking, Nagato waved at his newest acquaintance. They were a peculiar group, the four of them. One was simply outgoing, the other quiet, one borderline flamboyant but yet charming, and Nagato. He could not find words to simply described himself, as the first that always came to mind was distraught and saddened.

"It surely is nice to meet you three!" Nagato said, his voice calm yet upbeat as to not dampen the atmosphere of the room.

His dialogue went unnoticed, as the quiet raven haired spoke words which seemed to not have been spoken in some time. They were fumbled yes, but they seemed to roll oh so elegantly off her tongue. Almost as if she concentrated as much as she could to make them sound perfect. Like she couldn't judge her own speech.

Looking over to the girl Nagato stared at her with his own icy blue eyes. It was not a stare of awkwardness, but a stare that showed the owner was trying to understand something. Looking over at Sasha and Claymore, he slightly shrugged but caught himself, realizing that the shrug could once again dampen the mood in the room. Moments passed as silence covered the room like spider webs, and they were all helpless flies trapped on the sticky substance.

"What's your name?" Nagato simply asked, and moments later responded with a sigh as he took note off the odd question to ask after the female pronounced she had wanted to join. Join what exactly was a question to him, and a questioned that could only be answered by the speaker.

Biting his bottom lip and furrowing his brow, he continued with his dialogue.  "Does anyone know the exact reason why they called us in here? Luckily I had finished my job on time before they called this meeting!" A light chuckl followed this, as he rubbed the back of his neck almost comically. Leaning back in his seat, almost as a way to show how he was open to the group and the discussion, the mage fiddled with his fingers.

A massive horse led carriage came to a halt in front of the Rune Knight's massive mechanical castle of a headquarters, the exterior which reflected the landscape like a series of beautiful mirrors shining the sun back into the sky. The Carriage driver that halted the horses was of no importance, the glow within the carriage though was. Patiently the Carriage driver would wait as the weights in the massive carriage shifted to the side closest to the mechanical sliding door. A single MASSIVE greave would step out of the carriage, upon it placing itself on the ground the greave and metals shifted to reveal the beautiful silver scale-mail leggings that shined as the sun hit the shiny exterior.

Who stepped out of the Carriage, along a massive blue linen shroud covered in various teachings and runes written in a long forgotten language that could not be deciphered. A large armored being with this blue linen shroud over his head, with long unkempt brown hair covering the glowing golden eyes that warped whatever face was under the shroud. Its body dimensions would be described as "Athletic" and "masculine", as the creature was 6'2" and covered in armor from head to toe that clearly added onto the muscular body. Tossing the remaining jewels at the carriage driver, the shrouded figure approached the mechanical sliding door which would respond to his presence, and grant him entrance to the Rune Knights entrance hall.

"Take the money. Never contact me again, and dont take another detour through the Cursed Lands."

A bold and booming voice would yell at the carriage driver, causing the horses that led the carriage to storm off in whatever direction was 'Away' from the massive headquarters of the Rune Knights.

The building he entered was quite easily identified as some of the more 'unnatural' architecture that was becoming more and more or less suiting for a kings area, or at least a castle capable of housing an army. Its architecture was mechanical and otherwise fortified with scientific enhancements that would permit the Rune Knight's headquarters a title of Fortress if it were to face against something powerful enough. Yet still the shine of everything and all of the moving mechanical and magical security added onto it was screaming 'safety' and an odd form of beauty. Upon entering the magic/mechanical headquarters the shrouded man would make his move towards the meeting hall where most of the individuals who had responded to the call had come to. Now coming to a silent halt at the entrance, the 6'2" rune-covered knight stood taking in the surroundings.

An idiot with a boulder. Clearly the most entertaining one seen so far.

Two similar black-haired dwarves. One of whom was joining just as the man in runes had wanted to.

Another white haired dwarf in an unusual uniform.

. . . At least this was more entertaining than remaining in the cursed lands for another six days listening to an old rambling paladin scream into his ears. After closer inspection of his face it would become clear that the man was above average in regards to physical appearance. As he appeared as an ideal image of a male knight that would belong to an order, handsome facial features, an ideal incarnation embodying the true face of a "knight." Having distinguished facial features that are of course above average in regards to facial structure (handsome), a square jaw and strong cheekbones that bring out how defined his face is. His face was full of youth and life, as his eyes are literally radiating with golden holy energies that light up his pale white skin. Oberon's hair is long and brown with two locks of white hair hanging down in front of his face., and the name written on the left breastplate held onto his chest by various leather straps that bound the armor all together. 'Oberon Lightbringer'.

OOC: Everyone's a dwarf. End of story. Regardless of actual height. Except for Claymore. he's carrying a boulder. Thus, he is the victor.
