| It's like I'm screaming , and no one can hear.
The winds danced around her, gently lifting the small pieces of dust as though they were fragile glass that could shatter at any given moment. Her long strands of midnight black hair waved through the air as her crimson hues gazed upon the scene that unfolded within her vision. Her mind processed the actions of the boy as he lifted his flabby arm and collided his fist into the smaller ones right cheek. He stood towering over the child that sat on the ground, clutching his face in agony and pain. His small blue eyes brimmed with tears as they gently and slowly slid down his smooth and naturally bronzed skin.
She stared at them with a blank expression as the plump and taller boy towered over the injured with a smirk on his face, as if he were a hungry lion feeding on his prey. He then lifted his leg and mercilessly kicked the younger boy; and yet, the unknown female showed no signs of mercy. Her ears caught the commotion of agonized screams and pleas for help, yet she did not move. Her strange species pleasured her with the ability to hear the tiniest of sounds, whiff the weakest of smells and move faster than most; it was due to that, she managed to listen to the sounds of bones crackling.
She was insane. That was the only explanation that made sense as to her, the painful screams were melodious. The sound of breaking bones brought a ghost of a smile on her bloodless face. She inhaled sharply as her the whiff of fresh blood entered her system and traveled down to her lungs, moistening her dry mouth. Her teeth lightly dug into her bottom lip as she nibbled on the plump flesh. "I must resist. I will not taste the blood of a filthy human."
She mental repetition to herself convinced her conscience to avoid the thought of feeding on these lowly creatures. "But you too, were once a part of these 'lowly creature'." Her crimson eyes widened as rage dwelled within her. Her denial and hatred caused her overlook this true fact. Her pale hands clenched, trying to calm her boiling fury. Standing on the small building, she once again gazed at the youthful children already hungry for power.
A smirk crawled onto her face as swiftly moved forward and jumped. Her dusty boots clashed against the solid dirty ground. The 'thud' of the impact caused both boys to look up at her in surprise. She took her time observing the two. The larger one stood with his fist stained with crimson liquid while the boy laid on the ground, his eyes moist with tears as his upper lip started to swell. A bluish black patch rested on his left eye as it started forming a blue base. Her smirk remained in tact, "Well, well, the youthful generation already lusting for blood? Isn't this delightful?" Her hand positioned itself on the hilt of her often used crimson katana.
She slowly and in a rather taunting manner, drew the sword as her amusement was being fed by the rising fear evident within the eyes of the two children as she advanced forward, "Why don't I show you how it's done." She looked between the two, "So which one of you would like to go first?" A sickly sweet smile played on her features as her eyes received pleasure in watching their distress.
She loosely waved the light weighed sword and made the tip dance between the boys, "Hmmm, guess I'll have to choose myself." Her hand halted. This halt decided which one of the two boys lost their youthful lives to this monster first. The long blade stood seventy-five centimeters at length, extending from the hilt, where her hand was placed, to the tip, pointed towards the bully.
Her smile remained, "Oh look at that. Looks like we know who's dying first." Her smile dropped as a serious expression took over her facial features. The fear was evident in the bully's expression as she raised her sword.
Fifteen agonizing minutes later, which were rather fun filled for the female, she looked onto the dirty ground. A smile spread across her features as she wiped the blood from her mouth. Children are such pure and unbiased creatures, making their blood all the more tastier. Her crimson hues gazed upon the two dead bodies that lay their, their limbs separated from their body as their internal organs were ripped out and lay there, half eaten. She felt more energetic and calm now. Her hand wiped the blood from her mouth as she sheathed the bloody sword before turning on the balls of her feet and walking away, not once looking back at the skulls she quite literally had cracked. Guess in the end, she just couldn't resist. TAGS: @N/A NOTES: 800/750 words |
