Siren was amused well enough as the four picked themselves up and shuffled, supporting each other and on their toes not about to be taken by surprise by the demons again with their weapons at the ready and the musketeers watching each other's backs near the fourth mage. A Fire slayer. A fire god slayer, she could plainly see as the magic surrounded him as he moved and emanated off his flames. Unholy magic, and fire to boot. Not the best match up to combat her demons. It would be no wonder his fire didn't stop the demon, granted it was also above his pay grade. Still, a fire god. She watched as he consumed the fires that he had started in his reckless use of that large blade of fire. Well, unholy or not he was with the Musketeers challenging her demons and lackies.
It was just getting to the good part though. Siren savored the moment as the four stepped over debris and ruined walls into the master bedroom to see the display she had laid out for their eyes. A gift for them, the noble heroes. The black cloud that was Siren rolled, billowing in place within the wall almost a little giddy while observing their cringes and shocked expressions that quickly stooped to hatred and regret unaware that it wouldn't have mattered when they arrived or not. Perhaps they would still blame themselves, wishing to be faster or perhaps not.
One of the three musketeers sunk down to her knees and dropped her sword in front of the two, fingers clenching into fists and hitting the floor while she contained herself. Of the three she seemed personally invested. Siren peered into her heart to read her desires, at the moment the wish to be better, to be faster, for them to be alive right now was at the forefront. She could see a life in her heart that never was. A bit of an affair it seems.
Black smoke flooded out from the wall and circled the room, filling the room with an ashy smell as the smoke hung in the air in her path. Opposite to the four behind the body of the wife the smoke formed a human shape that only got more solid, revealing the black haired woman before the four from the waste up, her lower body remaining intangible. She was uncomfortably close to the body for most people, her hands hugging it casually while she looked at them from over its shoulder, golden eyes full of satisfaction while throughout the circle she took around the room cracks in the air tore open as demons of various size and shape stepped through each looking stern and obedient as they stood still after stepping through, waiting.
"Like my gift? I had thought you might enjoy it." She laughed lightly while she stroked the cheek of the dead woman with the back of one hand.
