Player Requirements: Player Requirements: 25 posts total with a minimum word count of 300 words.
Job Requirements: Stop the rogue Celestial Spirit terrorizing Midi; The Nine-Tailed Fox!
Job Location: Midi
Job Description: Midi has asked for the help of Fiore's mages in helping rid them of a particularly troubling creature; a celestial summon. According to the kingdom the spirit had done a trick that went to far and the owner of the key had died as a result. Banned from the spirit world due to her breach of contract, the nine-tailed fox is running rampant to cause as much chaos as she can before she simply fades from existence. Aiyana decides to take her good friend Mei with her on the job.
Enemies:
Weak: Random Mirage
One of the party members will be tricked, seeing something that isn't there. Whether it is a fear, someone they know, or something to draw up emotions is up to the person that rolled the die, or the one deciding to be effected by it.
Normal: An Angry Fox
Somehow the celestial spirit has the ability to control foxes, the creatures aggressively attacking people in the nation at random. They are weak, however, and the red furred creatures go down in a single B rank hit. They deal 1 B rank worth of damage per hit.
Strong: Angry Foxes x 10
They are the same as the single foxes roaming around, but a large pack of them is attacking anything they see; specifically you. Each takes, and can deal, 1 B rank worth of damage.
Boss: The Nine-Tailed Fox
The celestial spirit, like all of their kind, has her own special magic she can use against others. Her's is that of a trickster, able to fool others even if they have magical senses. She can make anything look like something else, and can confuse her opponents into hitting each other. Once brought into close combat she is able to throw out life-draining orbs that can steal 10% of your hp to heal her of 1 B rank hit of health. She can also use her tails, arms, and legs to fight; dealing 1 B rank damage per hit as well. Takes 5 B rank hits to defeat, due to having a weakened body from being out of the celestial realm for so long.
Reward:
10,000 jewels
New Face Claim For Aiyana: Ahri
This is a special job for my character, to give a reason for my new face claim.
Aiyana didn't leave the boat quietly, choosing to jump the last few steps onto the dry land of the land of Midi. The land was beautiful! Mountains could be seen in the distance, temples and villages dotting them sporadically. Even in the small village their boat had docked at to let them off was a sight to behold. The people wore interesting clothing, akin to the clothes Mao sometimes wore, that the Sabertooth mage was thinking of wearing after this job. Large gardens, consisting of trees and flowers of all shapes, size, and color, dotted the place along the river that ran through most of the place. Turning to look behind her, Aiyana would speak to her friend Mei with eyes full of wonder. ”Wow this place is gorgeous! I'll have to make my honeymoon here some day!”
Sadly, they were not here for fun and games. Midi was having trouble with a celestial spirit. That was right! Not a celestial summoning mage, but a legitimate spirit on its own. According to the job papers, it was the spirit of the 'Nine-Tailed Fox' that was known for tricking people. This specific spirit had somehow managed to accidentally kill their partner during a job she had been summoned in; breaching her contract with the mage. Being banned from the celestial realm because of this, meaning she would soon die from not being able to go back, the fox spirit had begun to go on a rampage among the land. Reports said she could control the foxes that littered the area, and the animals would continue to attack until the were either knocked unconscious or killed.
'Hopefully we can find her quick. This country isn't too large and the people are friendly to strangers, so we should be able to get some good help in locating where the vixen was at least.' The bandaged mage awaited her job partner to completely leave the boat and compose herself before she would start them off for the rest of the job.
