Rank: C Rank
Player Requirements: C Rank, or 2 D Rank; Max 2 wizards
Job Requirements:
* 20 posts
* 175 words per post
* roll 5 times
Job Location: Hargeon
Job Description:
You've been contracted to take down an extremely dangerous man.
The city guard has no information on him, and no one has come back alive.
They tell you he's hanging out in the sewers, and the last guy they pulled out was covered in burn marks, but wasn't scorched. Possibly death by scolding water?
Get to it!
Enemies:
Weak:Water Spawn
These cuddly little monsters deal C ranked damage, and take 4 C ranked hits to take down. They spray scolding hot water at you with high accuracy that will deal 1.5x C ranked damage.
Normal:Fire Spawn
These super fun guys deal 1.5x C ranked damage with their melee hits. They take 6 C ranked hits to take down and will shoot fireballs at you to deal 1.5x C ranked damage. When they die, they create a 10 foot radius explosion that deals B ranked damage to all.
Strong:Flaming Water Elemental
It's a water elemental... that's on fire. It shoots fireballs, blasts you with scolding water, and will dive into the water of the sewers and attempt to attack from below. The last attack deals 1.5x B ranked damage, where as the others deal 1.5x C ranked damage. It takes 8 hits of C rank damage to defeat.
Boss:Hydro-Arsonist
Amazingly, well not really, this isn't a "he" at all! It's a girl! She loves fire and will use a 20 meter long flame thrower attack that can only be consumed by Demon Slayers for some reason. This will inflict a serious burn, as well as deal B ranked damage. She also fire a scolding hot barrage of water streams that deal 1.5x B ranked damage, at half health she will use a potion to regenerate herself to full health over the course of 2 posts. She takes 15 hits of C ranked damage to beat, so have fun.
When she's been defeated, roll a Damage Dice. If you miss, your character doesn't kill her.
Reward:
* Dead: 10K Jewel
* Alive: 10K Jewel + bonus job rank XP

Bounty Hunters
Jin was sitting at the tavern with a job flyer in his hand. It was early in the morning, so early that Kaya was fast asleep in his lap. The sound of birds chirping and the snoring of a few loud ones could be heard in the tavern. Jin sipped through the coffee mug he had just made himself with extra sugar of course. ”So a bounty ha?”, it was a bounty hunter guild after all. Whether he liked or not, he was a bounty hunter guild member. It was only natural that after spending so much time, he would have to deal with a few bounties. This one, he had no trouble doing since this guy appeared to be causing some real ruckus. He had either killed people or badly hurt them and Jin had no trouble messing with such an individual. ”I suppose I should find someone from the team to go along with”, not that he needed help. It was only because he didn’t like going on jobs alone. Even with Kaya, the two would feel a certain kind of emptiness. They had always been going on jobs with a guild member or a team member or in some cases, members; they weren’t going to go solo now.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna stood in his room considering how to improve the recipe he was working on. It was a dish that consisted of Apple, Lemon, Onions, Bacon, Rice, Apple Juice and Black Pepper. All together these formed a dish he simply called the apply risotto. It was a good breakfast dish, but it was quite a light dish and so if you had been working in the morning then it wasn't enough to satisfy. It also took quite a while considering how little it filled the belly. There had to be a way to improve it somehow. He'd considered using the rainbow fruit and whilst that had given it a lot of impact it was far too sweet for a breakfast dish. It also didn't really fill the diner much more.
"All of the ingredients are quite light." he murmured to himself. "They mix well together, but none of them have a big impact alone nor could satisfy by themselves as a breakfast dish." Increasing the amount of any of them would clearly overpower the others. They had a fine balance. However, perhaps there were some other ingredients that could work well.
"Bacon, onions and juice...those are common breakfast ingredients." he said to himself working it out as if it was some complex puzzle. "Apple and Lemon aren't. Perhaps...if I replace the lemon with a more traditional breakfast fruit...grapefruit maybe. Yeah that might work." Then an idea struck him. "If I add a few other breakfast ingredients...eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes." He nodded and began to cook his new version of the dish. It had a lot of potential.
Eventually he finished it and stared at his creation. "Full Boscon Breakfast Risotto." is what he decided to name it. It had a rather beautiful aroma and one he could truly appreciate. "Now who to get to taste test it."

Re: Bounty Hunters
Having thought of someone to take along, he considered all his team members except one: Romulus, since he was badly injured and still recovering. ”Well, I’ll just start with Magna, if he’s busy, I’ll take Rei-chan or Iz-chan”, he thought wrapping up the piece of paper and heading towards the rooms section of the guild. Kaya was riding his shoulder as he walked and finally came to a halt at the door. She was still sleep so she didn’t speak but snored gently into his ears, they weren’t loud snores though just the gentle cute little barely audible ones. As Magna’s experiment finished, Jin knocked on the door: ”Yo Magna”, he said noticing that the light was on. So, it was early and Magna was awake, he expected that much considering Magna was a chef after all.
He would wait until the door would open, after which Kaya would pounce off Jin’s shoulder and jump on to Magna’s head, moving in a circle and then falling asleep again. This suddenly random and weird movement of Kaya was amazingly done while in her sleep, so she wouldn’t even know what she did. And the sudden movement, will also catch Jin by surprise since such a thing never happened before.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna tapped a button on the wall near him and the door swung open allowing Jin to walk in. AS Magna was in the middle of the room, near one of the walls, the jump motion was even more impressive. Fortunately, not even such a surprising motion could break the concentration of this chef. "Morning Jin. You're just in time for breakfast." Magna said turning and walking over to Jin offering him a plate with a knife and fork completely ignoring the sabertooth chibi on his head. "Its my new recipe a Full Boscon Breakfast Risotto. Hopefully the perfect way to start your day. Try a bite and tell me what you think."
It was strange. It was almost guaranteed in this guild that when Magna stared cooking something new people would turn up just in time to try it. It was very nice and was one of the reasons he loved this guild as much as he did. Ingredients and guild members. Both had many things in common, but the most important was that they all formed together to form a delicious recipe, but only in the right amounts. "Did you want me for something Jin? Or did you just come hopeing for something to eat?"

Re: Bounty Hunters
It was a humorous scene but Jin was more shocked about it seeing that Magna’s intense focus made him ignore the chibi tiger on his head. Jin couldn’t just say, “hey, kaya just jumped on to your head”; that would almost be rude. Thinking that ignoring was the way to go, he too said nothing and attempted to act normal. Kaya on the other hand, was impervious to the whole thing and was sound asleep. ”Morning, I just had coffee but thank you” he said, picking up a fork and tasting the new recipe presented to him. He had taken a little bite but it was a good combination, perhaps a bit light but the flavor was good. ”So I’ll assume you’re free for the day since you’re experimenting and all”, he said jumping to conclusions. ”It’s rich in flavor and nutrition considering the ingredients. I’d say good for a brunch but not breakfast since its light. Unless you add like a heavy drink to go with it”, he said giving his suggestions about the recipe.
When asked about his purpose of visit, Jin unfolded the bounty paper and presented it to Magna to read.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna heard the comment and considered it. So it was still quite light. A drink to go with it. Something heavy. That was a good suggestion. He'd need to think of the right drink to accompany it. A difficult decision and something else to experiment with. "Yeah plus I fancied making a decent breakfast so the team have a good meal to start their days with ya know?." he said with a shrug and a slight grin. He was always looking for ways to help the guild and even more so the team of kvasir. They were his inspiration. It was perhaps coincidental that their name was the name of a god of inspiration from an ancient culture.
He took the bit of paper and read over it. People had been burned, but not scorched. It was an odd one. However, the words suggested perhaps they were scalds instead of burns. Boiling water perhaps? That gave him ideas for a spell. Perhaps he could learn something on this job as he went. "Let's go catch ourselves a bad guy." Magna said with a nod. It would be good money and he could do with some to buy some more high grade plant food for his rainbow fruits.

Re: Bounty Hunters
”I’m sure everyone would love it” he said with a smile. Magna was so thoughtful and considerate about the team. Jin was so happy to be a part of this team and a friend of such a kind hearted individual. To add to it, this kind hearted individual was also helping Jin learn the fine arts of cooking. Having heard only breakfast and catching, Kaya murmured as she woke up: ”Catch me a big fish for breakfast and blarghi ohas oafs..”. She only said that sentence and fell asleep again. For some reason she was being too lazy and sleepy. Jin almost wanted to pick her off of Magna’s head since for one thing, it was awfully rude. He was quite troubled with it but he was almost sure that Kaya would make a fuss about it if she was disturbed. Jin only nodded and headed outside, hoping that Kaya would wake up soon.
”I wonder why she’s so sleepy, didn’t she sleep well last night or something?”, he thought to himself. He also thought he would apologize to Magna about the whole thing later.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna smiled at the response. He was glad that Jin thought the others would like it. "Stills needs a bit of work." he replied with a shrug and glanced up at Kaya. He didn't say anything for a moment and just stared. It was almost as if he hadn't realised she had been there until she spoke. "She looks comfy. Shall we get going? She'll probably wake up on the way." He walked towards the door and thought about what she had said. "Perhaps I'll try and catch her a fish on the boat."
He began to head towards the docks. They would need to take a ship and fortunately they could get a ship straight to Hargeon Town. It was actually probably the shortest journey that Magna had needed to take on a job. Normally they either had to go round to other ports or travel on a cart from Hargeon to get somewhere. It would be nice to get to the job quickly. However, he'd miss the long talks on the journey. They were good bonding times. It was a shame that more of the team weren't coming along. HE hadn't seen Rei or Romulus for a while. "You seen much of the others recently?"

Re: Bounty Hunters
He patted Magna’s back, ”you’ll get there, you always do” he said with a warm smile. Jin was confident about the cooking abilities of his friend and team mate. He had seen how Magna cooked in the last job they were together. Therefore, his confidence in Magna’s abilities was well placed. Jin nodded and embarrassingly scratched the back of his neck at the mention of Kaya being comfy. Well he didn’t know what to say about it. ”Yeah, she probably will”, he said as the two headed for the port. This time they would be taking a comparatively shorter trip. ”I’m not sure if she even wants ship, she’s probably having a dream about fishes or something”, said Jin as he noticed Kaya rubbing her eyes. She had finally woken up and stared at Jin with surprise. ”Jinny, what are you doing over there?” she asked with complete innocence, impervious to the fact that she was the one who had moved.
”Actually…”, he was about to tell Kaya that but was cut off mid way; ”and why you give me no fishy, you… meanie!!”. She said as she looked down to find Magna the owner of the head she was still sitting on. She climbed down his head and hugged his face: ”Maggy!!! Gimme fishy.. please!”. Well at least she said please, Jin was happy that being around Rei-chan was helping her improve. ”Not really..” he said replying to Magna’s question, ”Romulus is still recovering from his injuries. The last job he and I went on was tough on him due to my inability to protect him”, a grim expression appeared on Jin’s face. He was still not at peace with that fact that he wasn’t strong enough to protect his friend. Sure, they were facing an invisible foe that was probably not from this world and Jin was injured too but still, his friend was so badly injured; he couldn’t accept that. ”I wonder where Rei-chan is.. maybe we can pay them a visit when we return”, he said trying to fake a smile as he attempted to light the mood.

Re: Bounty Hunters
At the awakening of Kaya the chef summoned up a large fish and tossed it in the air, but with a swift motion he rapidly sliced it into pieces and as it fell summoned up various other pieces and formed a simple sushi dish for Kaya. Fortunately, they had just gotten on the ship so Magna placed the plate down for her to eat from.
"I'm sure it wasn't your abilities or lack of that got him hurt. Sometimes any job is a recipe for disaster" Magna said with a shrug. It was a shame that Romulus had been so badly hurt that he couldn't go on jobs. He liked the guy though it wasn't "I'll cook him up something when we get back to fix him right up." The ship set sail and Magna sat there thinking about things.
"Haven't seen Rei since when I went on a job with her and romulus a few weeks ago." Magna said thinking about it. "She shown you her magic yet? I think it is something to do with demons." He was really curious about her past. Perhaps more so than the others of his team. He liked the guild a lot.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Kaya pounced on the sushi that had been conjured up for her. Delightfully, eating it as she drowned in the rich flavor of it. Thanks to Magna’s cooking and Rei’s company, Kaya had learned to be a bit more elegant and subtle. She had now learned to cherish flavors and not just eat. Due to having close encounters with a chef such as Magna and living with another chef such as Jin, her taste buds were getting familiar to new tastes all the time. [colo=#6a5acd]”Yeah, we’ll both go visit him” said Jin replying about Romulus, ”I wanna meet Romy too” she said with a slight frown. Kaya too did not like the fact that Romulus had been hurt in the previous job. She didn’t say it but it was evident that she cared for the guild mates and kvasir’s members.
It appeared that Jin was the first to have witnessed Rei’s magic. He and Rei went on a job and she used her magic to help Jin defeat a mage who was abusing magic. He could remember her magic quite clearly, that demonic aura; it was something he had never felt before. ”She uses takeover, but not the kind you would see normally”, he said explaining to Magna. Magna was a member of kvasir and there was no point in hiding the magic of one of their team members. ”She has Satan soul, a demonic kind of take over. The first I’ve ever seen” said Jin with a grim expression on his face. Soon after, the ship would come to a halt arriving at Hargeon town.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Takeover. Now that was an interesting magic choice. So it was to do with demons because it was satan soul. Now that was even more interesting. How did a girl as young as Rei get involved with demons? Didn't you have to overcome the will of the creature you took over? How did someone like Rei overcome demons? He was intensely curious about her past. He really wanted to know more. He didn't say anything for a while. It seemed that the talk of Rei's magic had put a grimace upon the face of Jin. It was obviously something he wasn't exactly happy about it.
Fortunately, it seemed that fate was on his side because it offered a perfect way to change the topic because the boat slowed to a halt as they arrived at Hargeon town. He nodded to the pair and rose to his feet. It was time to get started with this job. "How should we begin? Straight to the sewers or go talk to the guard to find out anything else they might know?" he asked. Despite the fact that the team didn't have an official leader Jin was definitely, in the opinion of Magna and probably most of the others, the de facto leader of the team. He seemed the most experienced. He was also the most famous and the most powerful being a rising star and a B rank mage on top of that. Plus he was an ace of the guild. He was not the de jure leader, but he was definitely the de facto leader whether he wanted to be or not.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Jin didn’t notice that he was making a grim expression until they arrived and Magna asked what the plan ahead was. He smiled and looked at Magna as he got up as well and Kaya finished with the delicious sushi. ”They flyer said that the guards didn’t have any more information on him. This implies two things: either they really don’t have further information or they don’t intend to share it. Either way, it kinda means we’re not wanted so, as bounty hunters we should just jump in and wing it”, he replied adding a little chuckle at the end. ”Ne Jinny, I don’t have wings” said Kaya confused with the wings reference. ”I meant like going with the flow” he said in an attempt to explain a bit to Kaya who remained unsatisfied with the explanation.
Despite that, she knew that they were headed to the sewers unless Magna said otherwise so she began leading the way. Jin considered himself to be a lucky individual since he had accomplishes his lifelong dream by joining Black Rose. Thanks to that, he was able to make such wonderful friends and form a team. The titles that he ended up with were not something he aimed for. Likewise, despite his informal and casual demeanor he still was beginning to be interpreted as the de facto leader of team kvasir. He was not impervious to this but he had no way of undoing it. He just did his best to make sure that he opinions of his friends were heard and to emphasize each time that all of them mattered.

Re: Bounty Hunters
"You are probably right about the guards." Magna said, but he wasn't exactly happy about the situation. He sighed and shook his head. "I hate going in blind...its a sure way for a recipe to fail if you don't know all the details." It was then an idea struck him. The guards were just one group of people and if there had been multiple of these scalding murders then it was very unlikely to be secret. "Let's play detective...I bet someone in town knows something more about these events." He glanced about and then pointed towards a place he was completely at home with. A pub restaurant. He wasn't exactly fond of alcohol except for cooking, he was too young for one thing. However, if there was a way to find out information then a pub or tavern was the place to go. It was a rumour mill. "If we don't find out anything a pub is always going to have drainage so there will be an entrance nearby." He glanced about again and then pointed towards a large, and rather heavy looking, man hole cover.
He knew Jin didn't like being thought of as a leader. All of them mattered and Magna agreed. They were all ingredients that formed the recipe of Kvasir. However, every recipe had a key ingredient and that was Jin. Without him and his red velvet cake it was unlikely the team would of formed. Sure he had been on a job with Jin before having the cake, but it was the cake that really helped bond the team together. "Best to get any information we can right? Perhaps even an idea of where most of the murders have happened."

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna was right, going in without information was like shooting arrows in the dark. The sewers of an entire town wasn’t exactly an easy place to find this one individual. If they could manage to find the location or at least where most of the incidents had happened, it would be most convenient. ”You’re right, may be heading in with no information wouldn’t be the best of ideas”, he concurred with Magna’s assessment. They soon found a solution to their problem: a nearby pub. Obviously, the best place to snoop around for some valuable information. ”It is highly unlikely though, that we won’t find anything at a pub. I mean, it is a pub after all” said Jin with a smirk. Kaya then changed directions, heading towards the pub that Magna had pointed at. ”Let’s go!” she said charging ahead of the two.
After walking for a minute and two, the Black Rose mages arrived at the pub and Kaya charged through the door; ”Lemme at em, lemme at em!!”. Obviously, having little clue to the purpose of their visit, she spurt out words at random. The people around looked at her and laughed, a chibi saber tooth tiger wasn’t a common sight. ”You lost little cub?” said a large fat man with a belly that distorted his vision of his feet. The man stood in front of Kaya, trying to look down on her as Kaya stared upwards at almost giant individual. Jin entered the pub after her and heard the conversation since he was in audible range the entire time. ”No, I think she’s in the right place” said Jin standing behind Kaya and in front of the fat individual. The guild tattoo was visible on the left side of his neck, so the people around him already noticed that he was a mage of Black Rose. The bounty hunter guild had its name known around Fiore and to top it off, Jin’s name wasn’t unknown either. Some people around also noticed that the man standing among them, was the recently inducted Rising Star: Okura Jin.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna decided, though it wasn't really his style to play the role of a mage of Black Rose today rather than that of a chef. They were bounty hunters and so he needed to act like one to some extent. That meant getting information from these people no matter what. He wouldn't be too harsh, but he would walk in with confidence. "Well that depends doesn't it Jin?" he said with a slight smirk on his face. The right tone and body language in the right place at the right time. It was just another ingredient in a recipe. This was his first bounty hunter job, but he'd read a lot and heard plenty about them whilst serving in the Gota de Rocio back at the guild so he'd do his best to use what he had learned to his advantage. "Its only the right place if the information we want can be found here." This was aimed to make the men in the bar feel important. Make them think that if they helped these mages they might get some more information of them.
"And what sort of information does a pair of Black Rose mages hope to find in my local?" the fat man asked curiously though he seemed to be putting on a bit of a swagger as if trying to intimidate the pair. An interesting tactic, but honestly though it really didn't work. Magna had seen far more intimidating things when he was back as a gang member and that was when he was like 9. Heck, Rei was more intimidating than this guy and that was without magic. Even Kaya could probably intimidate better than this guy. At least she had fangs and claws even if they didn't do much damage.
"We are quite interested in the...drainage system around the town." Magna said trying to be slightly cryptic, but also making it seem obvious. It was a common tactic applied. "Can you tell us anything...hhmmm....let's use the word interesting... about that?"

Re: Bounty Hunters
As Manga tried to get this man to talk, Jin decided to remain quiet so he could take control of the conversation. It would be unwise to interrupt and steer the discussion away from how Magna had wanted it to go. He expected Magna to have a certain plan thus his help for the time being was not needed. ”uhhhh.. I can tell you something good. The incidents keep happening closer to restaurants and pubs. That’s what the Rune Knights who came last time were talking about” said the guy replying to Magna. That was their clue, Jin hadn’t thought about it from that angle. Obviously the guy would need something to eat and in order to do so, it would be wise to remain close to places that had ample supply of food. For all they knew, he might be closer to this one but that would mean he was too unlucky; which was a good thing.
”Useful” he said looking at Magna. He didn’t know for sure if Magna was done with the question, so he would wait until Magna decided it was time for them to move to the sewers. Kaya was now standing beside Jin and waiting for Magna as well. She understood that currently , Magna was controlling the flow of things.

Re: Bounty Hunters
So the murders were occuring near restaurants and pubs. Potentially the murderer could be a client of one of those pubs. Or perhaps a disgruntled client trying to lower the values of the pubs and restaurants. Who would dine near a place where murders occured? However, it was curious the guards had not come to these conclusions nor told them about the pattern. Very odd. "How very interesting. I am quite fond of pubs and restaurants myself." Magna said with a slight smile. Perhaps after the job was done they could try some of Hargeon's famous fish dishes. It had been a while since he'd had a chance to dine in the port. "So do any particular people like to visit these sewers? Or are there times they like to visit?" HE was asking questions without being too specific. It was a game he was playing and he seemed to be played it quite well. Jin's presence worked as good intimidation.
It was quite interesting to see exactly what would happen in this situation. It was a rather different kind of way of dealing with it. He'd find out all that he could before they went into the sewers. Best to be prepared as possible. Perhaps a trap could be set and a fight could be prevented. That would be good

Re: Bounty Hunters
”I don’t know more, I just told you what I know. You guys are annoying, I can’t even pick on you”, Magna’s continuous poking probably made the man realize that his apparently scary persona was not working. Obviously, both the Black Rose mages had seen a fair share of scary stuff. So a tall and fat individual didn’t even come close to scaring them. ”Let’s just go to where most of the murders happened, we might end up lucky and find the person responsible”, Jin was not the type to rush things but the longer they investigated; the more danger were people put in. It would be better if such a dangerous individual was taken care of as soon as possible. He had injured quite a few people and had murdered a few of them as well. Jin was getting restless about leaving things the way they were. ”Ne Maggy, let’s go” said Kaya pouncing around Magna as he stood in the pub.
Jin would wait until Magna would start to head towards the sewer. There was an entrance nearby so it didn’t take them time to enter the smelly domain. It was dark and vision was poor but Jin could use his heat vision to move through. However, that didn’t help Kaya so he lit his hands up on fire making light; enough for the group to see what was in front of them. In the distance, he could see a human heat signature. Jin had no way of knowing but he considered the probability of them getting lucky and running into the culprit.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Magna dropped down into the sewers and instantly gagged as he smelt the intense smell. It was horrid. He didn't envy Kaya whose sense of smell was far more sensitive than his own. He paused and snapped his fingers summoning up some scented herbs which he tied to a string and put around Kaya's neck. "I know they are a bit strong, but they should counteract the stench down here a bit. " he said kindly trying to help her as much as possible. He had a kind heart. "You need one Jin?" He said as he made one for himself. It wasn't a perfect defense, but it helped. Kind of like an air freshner in a teenagers room. It didn't remove the issue but it hid it somewhat.
"So how did I do up there?" Magna asked curiously as they walked through the smelly environment. He had hoped he had done well with the pub's patrons. He wanted to be more useful to the group then just a cook. Sure he could do a bit on jobs, but he still felt less useful than others. He would try to do his best. He was a black rose mage and not just a chef. He had to show that. "Any sign of them yet?"

Re: Bounty Hunters
Kaya was instantly overwhlemed by the horrid smell but survived thanks to the herbs that Magna had given her. She rode Jin’s shoulder so Jin didn’t need one since that necklace would be enough for both of them. ”This necklace should be good for the both of us, I’d prefer if we could get this done and get out of here before I need one”, he said adding a little chuckle at the end. ”You were a natural up there, kinda creepy but you did better than I would”, he stated the truth. The thing with Jin was, he couldn’t say ‘no’ to people. So if he ended up in an investigation and someone asked Jin to forget about it, he would forget about it. Certainly not a good trait when trying to pry some information from people.
”Them? Did you think there would be more of me?”, the shadow in the distance appeared in front of the two mages. It was probably like all the other times, their young looks and kind appearance made the opposition think they were not capable of much. A bit of a sad cliché thinking of all the villainous types. ”Now that we’ve met.. Chow” said the lady with the flame thrower . Yes, a large flame thrower was in her hand while she was casually conversing with the mages. With the push of a trigger, a large wall of flame suddenly emerged and headed for the both of them. Jin jumped into action and stood in front of the flame. Kaya couldn’t jump off in time and was slammed away, hurled throw the air and burned with the flames. She was in her chibi form and this much damage was enough to knock her out.
The flames were strong and burned Jin’s clothes, also gave him slight burns all over. However, none of the flames went past him to effect his friend. Kaya taking damage was not something he could overlook, he was now, seriously mad.

Re: Bounty Hunters
AS the flames hit Kaya Magna's eyes flared red and without hesitation he made a gesture with his hand and a frying pan appeared. It looked perfectly ordinary, but it was far from it. In his other hand he wielded a knife which began to glow brightly before forming into the towering figure of Aegis. "Aegis, protect Kaya." Magna said and then seemingly ignoring Jin almost entirely Magna charged in wielding nothing but a frying pan.
The flamethrower wielded laughed and then launced a blast of fire from her flamethrower. Magna quickly wielded his frying pan to catch the blow and the pan began to glow before sending a beam of pure fire back at her. However, what was odd was that it seemed stronger and was travelling faster. "Have some Panishment for hurting Kaya." Magna shouted as the blast hit the arsonist sending them flying back and causing serious burns. This was Magna's latest toy. The super skillet. It was a specially adapted frying pan that was highly resistant to fire and cold. What's more it could catch spells and send them flying back with extra force. It also had another trick up its sleeve, but there was no need to show if off.
"Jin. Get her whilst there is an opening." he said. He knew Kaya was important to Jin and he would want to avenge the damage done to her. Magna wanted to as well, but knew Jin's fury would be greater. It was best for him to let it out now rather than letting it build up.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Jin had never felt such anger before. Kaya had ended up badly burned and hurt because of the sudden attack. Normally, such an attack won’t be much for Jin to handle since it was a fire based attack and he was a heat mage after all. Thanks to Magna, the wall of flame directed at him was now stopped and he was provided with a chance to take his anger out on the opposition. Jin rushed ahead towards the injured foe, she sprang back up on to her feet and launched a side kick towards Jin. She had spun in a leftward motion and Jin blocked it with his right arm, also replying with a straight kick. The kick resulted in a slight bruise at Jin and Jin’s counter knocked his opponent back. ”Extra arms” spell was activated by Jin as he pressed on his assault. Three large tentacle like cold based extensions of his magic emerged from his back. Not only was he using his four limbs now but also these three additional things to assist in his attack.
She attempted to cast a spell at Jin but he grabbed her hands with the tentacles, opened them up and punched her a few times throwing her away. The two then once again exchanged a few punches as Jin took a few of hers to little effect while she took some serious beating from Jin. Using his cold based tentacles as a whip, he moved them backwards and then whipped at her using all three; throwing her off her feet and into the air as she landed on her back after travelling a few feet in the air. ”Hang in there, Kaya. I’ll take you to the doctor as soon as we’re done”, said Jin in a calm tone without taking his eyes off of the opponent. He knew that in the current situation, Kaya would be strong enough to endure it.

Re: Bounty Hunters
Jin was dealing with the flamethrower wielder using more power than Magna had ever seen him unleash before. Not even when they had faced the dark principal who had been twisting children with dark magic had he seen such a cold fury. There was anger in his attacks, but no yelling or shouting. Silent and destructive except when naming a spell, one Magna hadn't seen before, he beat back the opponent. "Aegis. Whatever you do don't let any further harm come to Kaya." Magna said and watched as the large iron knight gently picked her up. "Get her above ground and out of the sewer. Its no good for her in her state." The knight nodded and without even saying a word dashed away to find the nearest manhole cover.
Kaya would be safe with Aegis. The knight had grown fond of Kaya and even without Magna's orders wouldn't of allowed her to come to harm. In fact, he'd secretly confided in Magna that he had been working on remastering an old ability of his to help Kaya in battle. The two working together in conjunction would surely be a fantastic recipe for success. Now it was just Magna and Jin vs the murderer who had harmed Kaya.
Or that was what Magna thought anyway. As he heard in the distance a manhole cover scraping open indicating that Aegis was at the surface he heard another sound that was much closer. He quickly spun round, but he was too slow to block and was blasted backwards by a fireball. It seemed whoever this arsonist was...she had friends. In the distance he could see more stuff coming. "Jin, you handle her and i'll hold these off." he said preparing his frying pan. It was time to show what he could do.
