The hounds seemed to be doing much better now of their side of the spectrum, now they would not be forced to fight each other. Maybe the beasts were capable of having the other enemies side alongside them. Such a wonderful scenario that would be, now if only they were able to make that a reality. Still though, maybe the hounds could fight for them. Two of them, that was better than the previous zero that they had. Provided Ignite was treated with care, the hounds would not make any attempt of fighting the ground. The She Phoenix was too busy playing with them on the ground, it was nice to see that even his pet could have a pet of her own. The boy then looked over towards the other two, it seemed they were doing well since their enemies were out of the clear. With a smile on his face, he decided to pace over to them with gentle steps, almost to the point in which a little "Tik" sound could be heard behind every step. In the meantime, the newcomer of the group had a question of his own, the statement seemingly being aimed towards him. The Violinist had good enough judgement based on his opinion. Going stealth doesn't sound like too much of a bad idea actually. The Violinist explained with approval in his tone. The newcomer certainly was able to think about the future. Before he was able to give his command however, Kakuma made one of her own.

Wait... Huh!? The boy exclaimed as he noticed his Guildmaster charging forward. It seemed she was going to fight... He had faith in her, but to save their energy would probably be a good idea too in his opinion. Regardless of what might have been right or wrong, he couldn't let himself watch her go into battle without backup. Dang it! We have to get her out of there! The boy ordered before pulling out both of his blades again, his light green eyes still spinning the white speckles. With that, he entered the cave at his best running speed. How good that may have been compared to the other two mages? Maybe not good enough, but being the rank he was and with the boosts he had, hopefully it would be fast enough... Hopefully... Hey! Wait for me now! The She Phoenix exclaimed while she ran inside of the cave, not as fast, but at least with two of the hounds for backup. Plus, her body glowed in the dark, which was another plus.

Zack was honestly surprised when Kakuma dashed off by herself. He hadn't expected that. It didn't seem wise and didn't seem like a typical leader as far as he had seen. Then again there was some who believed the leader should be at the front of every charge. Still, a charge probably wasn't wise even if it was more Zack's style. At the sounds of battle inside Zack became a blur again kicking off the ground and darting through the cave at break neck speeds. He saw a cultist raising a blade coated in what appeared to be a blade of fire. However, it was a rather odd fire. Sadly, for the mage at least, he would not get a chance to show it because Zack hit him at full force sending him flying into another one of the mage's taking them both out in a single blow.

"Don't try to do everything by yourself Kakuma. That's not what being a leader is. You help your team mates grow and they support you and help you grow. Rely just on yourself and you might rise up high but when you eventually fall...you will come crashing down harder than anyone else...with no-one there to catch you." he said and then looked at the remaining men with a sigh. "You guys really want to do this? Don't you care about your lives? About the lives of your comrades?"

"We will do what we must in the name of the Marilith and Lord Savnok and would gladly sacrifice our lives for them." one of the mage's replied as he launched a giant fist of fire at Zack who didn't even flinch as he held up his gloves hand and stopped it. It was clear it had hurt him, but it was also clear it wasn't significant enough for him to care.

"I don't care who your boss is or how strong they are. They are going down and let me tell you why." as he said those words Devon reformed to full size behind the man and twisted her spear to trip him up in such a way that he landed on his back. Before he had a chance to react Devon was on top of him her blade at his throat. "We don't serve anyone. We work together as a team and help eachother grow. That is why people like you and your boss will never win." It was at that point that three of the mage's decided to ram blades of various fire straight through Zack.

He gasped out in pain and then exhaled. "Fine. I gave you a chance." he placed a hand on his blade's hilt and then vanished in a blur of light appearing next to one of the men in the air with both feet kicking towards his head sending him flying. Before the others had a chance to react he was suddenly crouched in front of one and launched a powerful upper cut before vanishing and appearing behind the other. He tapped the man on the shoulder who turned summoning up a giant scythe made of fire, but it was nothing to Zack who just punched him in the chest, likely cracking some ribs, and sending him flying.

"You call this fire make magic? Yugi would have a fit seeing this poor showing." Zack said shaking his head as the remaining mages began to cower. Kakuma had been one thing and they felt they could overwhelm her with numbers maybe especially as she was down. However, Zack on top of that was too much for them. Throw Devon into that and then Elyx and Ignite as well. They knew they had signed up to defend their demonic lord and the marilith against such people, but they hadn't expected such power. "Now run away like the others. We have bigger fish to fry."

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 20th September 2015, 11:55 pm

Kakuma felt her the stone under her legs and the warmth of the air, she simply sat and waited for the blow to come. A blow that never came, she hear the sound of Zack's voice faintly, she opened her eyes and looked around. The H rank mage had dealt with all the enemy's that had been coming after her, "I didn't...." Kakuma sighed and pushed herself to her feet. "thank you..." Kakuma was angry with everything right now, with her guild for letting her be a simple figure head. Herself for not being stronger, her family for being who they were. Kakuma frowned and walked further down the tunnels, she was not really caring what happened to her. She was also very sure that Black Rose could get along with out her, she was after all just a figure head. She didn't pay any heed to anything the other said, right now she had to prove something to herself. Really she just had to make sure it was her fighting and not someone else. She had so much to protect now and was unsure if she could, and it drove her mad. Kakuma stopped suddenly, standing in the middle of the bodys and gore that she and Zack had created. She was reminded of what had happened to her home all those years ago, she had gotten so many killed just be being there. "No... i won't let it happen again." Kakuma took a deep breath and turned around, "We have a lot of demons to deal with, we have to deal with them so nobody is threatened by their evil." Kakuma didn't know why, but she felt like something had changed inside.

*Lets do this Kakuma.* Nizria spoke from within her head. *We can't let anything we built be harmed.* That was it... Nizria had changed, she let herself become something more than a demon. Kakuma smiled, she didn't feel a demon anymore but something else.

"We have a few things to take care of when we get back to the guild." Kakuma held out her hand and pulled in light from the area, creating a small ball of light in her hand. She smiled and crushed the ball, which healed her. "Let go... and... I'm sorry." Kakuma spun on her heel and walked in a brisk pace, she wondered what had become of Nizria. The unholy feeling in her stomach was gone, replaced by something different.

Elyx finally caught up... His speed seems to not be able to catch up towards the other two. Ignite might have been able to, if she were angry that is. But in this case, she had two hounds and not a single scratch was on her or the Violinist, so she just ran at the same speed Elyx had. Damn it, when are we ever late? The boy complained as Ignite soon followed up right behind, the two fire hounds following her steps as well, but not violently barking like they used to back in the battle before. Hopefully they didn't hold a grudge for the giant impact created before. It seemed that there were events that were rather depressing and possibly violent going on, he could relate to that himself. This was just about the first time the boy had felt like the weakest link on a team that he was on, and that made him feel rather useless since his physical abilities just weren't there yet. Great, now I know how Izayuki and Aria feel when they have to fight by my side. Maybe I should try to give them a little more combat instead of creating hurricanes. The boy thought to himself before looking all over the cave, the amount he could see with whatever Ignite is able to cast out light from her body. What is the next step from here? I don't have the faintest of clues... The She Phoenix remarked out loud, half sending the question and comment over to Elyx. How was he supposed to answer though? It's not like he was able to navigate these passageways. And... He couldn't really do anything out of order either, otherwise, he'd still be useless and late to the party.

Kakuma? The Violinist said before turning his head over to his Guildmaster. Awaiting further orders. His body was still, not sure whether to pull out his Violin or his swords once again. The hounds began to play around by spinning around Ignite, who was not really paying much attention to the current situation at hand. The boy would have to update her on what was currently going on, once he obtained his orders though. But as of right now, he was like a lost sheep, nothing to guide him in his mind, but that's why he was there. When he was lost, to be given directions. He was never going to a volcano before, he had no idea about what this sort of landform was supposed to bring in the unforeseeable future.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 24th September 2015, 11:15 am

Zack had just one healing spell in his arsenal and he wondered if now was the time to use it or if Kakuma, or Elyx, would have some other way to heal the rather greivious wounds that the Black Rose guildmaster had suffered. Elyx seemed to use wind and back when he'd been a sky demon slayer he had more healing in his arsenal. Wind was often associated with healing which actually confused him a bit. He'd always thought water would make more sense. However, that was a discussion for another day. "You got any healing spells or items or anything like that Elyx?" Zack said gesturing towards Kakuma with a movement of his head. Kakuma had suffered quite a bit of damage from that last battle. Zack would have to step it up a notch regardless, but if Kakuma wasn't healed then he'd have to step it up even further to compensate. Neither of these Black Rose mages was dying on his watch. No ally died whilst teamed up with him. That was part of his creed or to quote a lacrima show he once watched it was his 'ninja way' or was it 'way of the ninja'. He honestly couldn't remember, but again he was getting sidetracked.

However, as he said these words Kakuma generated a ball of light that she then crashed which seemed to heal some of his wounds. At least it got her up to a decent amount of health so that she could at least walk without limping. He jogged to catch up with Kakuma and also not to leave Elyx and Ignite behind. It wasn't too fast a pace now. However, they had quite a lot of things to deal with still. WHoever this Marilith was for example. That was just one opponent. They had a few other opponents. Probably more of those cultists for example.

"Hopefully we don't run into anymore people. I don't like killing unless I have to...and its worse when they can't even put up a decent fight." he said as he caught up with Kakuma. In truth he wanted to find whoever was in charge and smash them in the face. However, it seemed it would be a while yet before they got there. Oh well, it could be worse. "So...what magics do you guys actually use?" he said deciding to make some conversation as they walked. He sort of knew based on his sensing using his glove, but it was nice to hear people explain their magic.

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 4th October 2015, 9:47 pm

Kakuma kept walking following what looked like the path, she smiled something had again changed, she felt invincible. She heard the man Zack say that he hoped that they didn't see any more enemy's, "Nonsense... We want all of them to show their ugly heads, so was can show them what it means to fight Black Rose." She stopped and looked at the man. "And Blue Pegasus of course." She gave a sly smile, "I have things to protect, i don't have time to drown in pity. Nor do i have time, we must move on and defeat any and all enemy that threaten our peace. Not just for ourselves but for anyone else they may threaten." Kakuma held out her hand to Zack. "I don't know what you know or have heard about Black Rose, but we are not evil but nor are we good, we are a happy medium of good and evil i guess." Kakuma didn't know how he would take it, but she wanted to be up front. "And i would like to set up a alliance with Blue Pegasus, if you don't mind being allied with a morally gray guild that is." Kakuma would wait for his answer and would not let the answer affect her negatively in any way.

Once she gotten her answer she started walking again, she was ready to fight any and all comers, she held out her hand and gathered light in her hand again. This Ball of light had a red tint to it, what they didn't know is this little ball was offensive. She stopped in her tracks, "right i better give you guys blessings." Kakuma spun and grabbed Zacks Hand and planted a kiss on it. Bestowing a portion of her power to the man, it would make him able to receive the benefits of her magic. She then walked over and took Elyx's hand, kissing it as well. "well not that is over with lets go." The entire time she had taken to do so she was continuing pool the light in her palm.

She finished pulling the light for her little ball of light and she tossed it at Elyx, "here hold this." It was a bit of a bad idea for her to be tossing a explosive about, but sense was not really what was filling her mind. "That is highly explosive and will explode when it touches someone or something that has not been blessed... soooo don't drop it." Kakuma tapped her blade of her sword with her free hand, "Lets go kill some foolish idiots." Kakuma skipped off ahead of the group looking for someone foolish enough to get in her way.

Post by King Elyx 5th October 2015, 1:51 pm

Hmm, I do have one Healing spell that can heal other people actually... But only just one person at a time, and I don't think it's too effective either. announced as he tilted his head to the side, looking over to his Guildmaster to see what exactly just happened. A Violin was now in his left hand, the Violin bow required for him to play the instrument in his left. His light brown eyes had white speckles glowing in the dark due to his use of magic soon to come, though it made his attacks and approaches seem a bit cooler, it was also a warning sign to those he opposed that he was going to use a magic spell. Lets see, I'll give this my best shot. The boy said before putting his chin on the instrument, only for him be cut off by Kakuma. A smile on his face was shown, his Guildmaster seemed to want a fight, and to see her hyped up for combat was an entertaining moment for him. He couldn't speak like he didn't want to battle either, it was just simply too easy from this point now. He placed the instrument by his left side and the bow on the right side. It seemed he didn't have to heal her, she seemed rather lively instead of defeated, just  how he always knew her to be. In a way, she was like Ignite, with the destructive power and the eager to fight, she will always prevail above her opponents. Elyx will soon have the ability to obtain both, but he did have to follow the rules of the Magic Council as well if he wanted their favor against Shadelle in the near future. So just for now, he will sit down with his legs crossed and resort to most things peacefully, most being a key word.

The boy then looked down to his palm as his Guildmaster placed it in her own, then gave it a gentle kiss before putting his palm back in place. His light brown eyes have a slight bit of green showing in them, unlocking a bit of power in him without him being forced to do it himself. This was amazing, there was some sort of other power in his bloodstream that he was unable to describe. It felt like a puppy pawing at the inside of a dome, trying to find a way out so that it can go out and play. It took a lot of self-control to keep himself under control, especially when he had to catch an item for his Guildmaster. As she explained what it does and what it could do, he was able to catch it successfully, dropping his Violin in the process, allowing it to shatter against the ground and return to his knapsack. He gave a nod of the head before placing it into his pocket. An explosive, I haven't seen one of these since last week. Heh, this should be fun. Thanks for the item.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 9th October 2015, 1:45 pm

"Looks like Kakuma managed to heal herself and is raring to go." Zack mused as he walked forward through the tunnels before he suddenly was kissed upon the hand. A strange feeling began to flow through his body. A blessing apparently? He wasn't sure what it would do, but he was sure it was positive and the he would find out soon enough what it did. However, for now he wouldn't enquire. It wasn't vital. It appeared that she had also provided a bomb. A bomb that would explode if not held in the hands of someone who had a blessing or an object that didn't have a blessing. This could be a useful thing. Using that as an almost hot potato they could get some real tricky fighting done if they could play it right. It would be tricky, but useful. Plus with Zack's speed he should be able to counter for any fumbles that could end up with it detonating on them instead. Yes, a useful tool they could use in some way.

"I'd rather we don't kill anyone except the one in charge. Killing these people serves no purpose...they are just the body. Cut off the head and the body will scatter." he said as they headed deeper into the caves. "Besides, if we kill them they don't really know they've been beaten. Beat them, but keep them alive and they will know of that defeat forever." All the while whilst he was saying these words he was considering the point that Kakuma had made.

An alliance between the guilds. Black Rose and Blue Pegasus. It was true both were powerful guilds. Blue Pegasus was famous of old whilst Black Rose was on the up and up. Soon it would be as famous or infamous as any of the other major guilds. An alliance could serve the guild well, but it wasn't something he could make official. "As an independant guild I can't make an official alliance...the magic council wouldn't accept it, but unofficially...yeah I'm good with an alliance. Be good to get some interguild mingling. I feel that Blue Pegasus has been getting a bit sloppy later. A few new ideas coming from a guild like Black Rose might be just what we need." He didn't know how serious Kakuma was about the idea, but it was certainly one that he wanted to pursue himself. He'd prefer it if he could make it official, but as a legal guild that wasn't an option. Perhaps in the future.

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 19th October 2015, 3:35 am

Kakuma chuckled at the mans reluctance to kill the cultists, all to well she knew the cost of letting someone live that should be killed. She didn't mention anything about it though, legal's almost always had issues with the darker aspects of soldiering and other law professions. The man then went on about how he could not make a official alliance because the Magic Council would not accept it. Kakuma chuckled, "There is a way, make a Alliance with the nation of Black Rose not the guild. I find the closed mindedness of the Magic Council a bit... Self destructive." Kakuma shrugged and kept moving, "I will be honest... if i feel that the cultists remain a threat after we..." Kakuma paused for a second. "Defeat them, I will have Black Rose Police and Military personnel take them into custody." Kakuma didn't know if she should tell him that Black Rose held people to their actions and was more strict then the joke of a police force the Magic Council had. The mans own surprise at the quick response time of the LVPD earlier the day had been clear. Kakuma kept walking thinking about everything that she found wrong with the Magic Council, she looked at the man quickly and shook her head. For someone so smart she found it odd that he just blindly followed their rules. Kakuma kept walking but stopped when she heard something in the area ahead, Kakuma stepped out into another clearing and caught sight of more hell hounds. Kakuma sheathed her blade and cracked her knuckles, "well then shall we?" Kakuma leaned her blade against the cave wall and stepped out. She whistled to get their attention, they all looked in her direction and snarled, Kakuma smiled and changed into her own wolf form and returned the gesture. The hell hounds ran at her and Kakuma at the hell hounds, the size difference was immense. Kakuma stood at 7 feet tall in her wolf from compared to the hounds 3, but the hounds had numbers. Kakuma met them head on pinning the first one and chomping on its throat, she jumped of and rammed the next on to present itself. They didn't stand a chance clearly and after about 4 of them were dominated by Kakuma, they just rolled over and presented their bellys. This was a sign of submission in the K9 realm, Kakuma went around biting each of them, not breaking the skin, she then growled at them and they all jumped up and fell in behind her. Kakuma pranced up happily to Zack and Elyx, "More minions." the wolf was clearly grinning, she was clearly amused.

It seems the adults are doing their business, eh Ignite?... Ignite? The boy asked before turning around, only to see the she Phoenix laughing and playing with her new Hellhound pets. They were a little bit cute when they were on her side, and acted like regular dogs instead of fiery beasts. They had potential to be nice and maybe even their best friends eventually. Friendships take a lot of time. Then again, this could just simply be an alliance, which is something he was willing to take as well. Just as long as the She Phoenix is by his side at the end of that day, there would not be any problems. Hey Elyx! I named this one Lucky! And the girl one right here is Coda! Pretty cool, right? She asked with hope before lifting "Lucky" into the air in front of his face. It gave him a nice hot lip against his cheek, it was rather comfortable instead of hot, relaxing as well... Until flames were left on his face, in which he hand to pinch in order to get them off of his skin. He would rather not going down and die in a blazing fire, especially in an environment such as this one. That was when the group would be caught by a group of other hounds, and they were not happy, nor did they look like they had the potential to be tamed either. Their eyes just silently yelled chaos in them, they were unlike Lucky and Coda. They were crazy, as if they were only looking for blood, that being their sole purpose for existence only. The Violinist pulled out both of his swords, the both of them unsheathed successfully before being placed by his sides, ready to engage in combat. Ignite placed out her palms, a ball of fire being formed in front of them. The hounds growled in anger against their brothers, it seemed they knew their alligences as well. The four of them were ready to strike.

Lucky started off this battle by leaping towards a muscular looking hound, the weight and impact causing them both to tug on the ground, a few flying sparks and plenty of small explosions between the two. It almost seemed like the both of them were doing something else, but the Violinist was certain that they were not. Coda aimed for the smaller one, easily taking it down with her weight, and the both of them began to tug. Elyx decided to back up Lucky and ran towards him and the other hound. His blade sliced downwards onto the both of them, the target to use the bigger hounds size to it's disadvantage. With his precise timing and luck, he hit down onto the enemy dog. A fireball shot from the side of Elyxs hip and towards the jumble of hounds, the explosion causing the two hounds to fly away from each other, Lucky sent back to Ignite, and the enemy away. And... It seems the battle is almost done.

Kakuma had changed from being wolf-like to be a totally badass looking 7ft tall wolf. That was pretty impressive. Perhaps he should show off his own transformation? No, now was not the time and besides the release of such a high amount of power could cause the cave to collapse. Besides, without him even having to make a move there was almost nothing left to do. He blurred forward suddenly grabbing hold of the hound that got blasted away and head butted it knocking it unconcious before throwing it away. There were no more enemy hell hounds left to fight..

"I don't agree with the magic council for the most part. Otherwise there would be few dark guilds left standing." Zack said as a conversation starter or continuer depending on your point of view. "However, they serve a purpose and its not just for me that I declined the alliance of guilds. My guild joined a legal guild and thus they joined a guild that obeys the magic council to some extent. Officially announcing the alliance would put them at risk of arrest and the like. I won't put my guild in that kind of dnager without at least discussing it with anyway." He had a feeling several of his members wouldn't care, particularly the strongest ones like Akryn and Akeya would not mind. However, he could not make that decision.

Zack didn't have any issue with the idea of the Black Rose police coming in to arrest what was left after they dealt with this. Nor did he have an issue with allying with the nation that Black Rose. Though he wondered how a guild allied themselves with an island. That didn't really work. Surely nations needed to ally? It was a difficult situation. Perhaps he could convince the clover city council to set up some sort of relationship with the town that Black Rose was based in. It seemed quite profitable. Perhaps set up some training scheme to get the clover town police force up to scratch. That would be useful at least. Then they'd be of some actual use when people attacked Clover. That would be nice. Then the Blue Pegasus wouldn't have to do everything.

"Let's get moving. We still have the boss of these guys to find and take down...otherwise this is all pointless." he said and began to walk down the hallway. "We'll discuss more on alliance ideas later. For now we have a job to do"

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 10th November 2015, 5:36 am

Kakuma listened to the man as she kept pace with him, not to hard in her wolf form. The hellhounds kept pace as well all of them keeping their heads down. The man seemed to be pondering the idea of a alliance out-loud, not that Kakuma was listening, she had noticed that Elyx had taken off when the both of them weren't looking. She stopped and looked around for the young ace, she sniffed the air but caught not a trace of him. "hey... uh did you see where Elyx poofed too?" Kakuma changed back to her other form and scanned the area, she didn't see him. "Hmm? well i guess he must have returned to the guild. I guess that's ok." Kakuma shrugged again and started walking again. The man was still talking about the alliance and said they would have to talk with it later. "That's fine, i really don't mind honestly i just figured that it would be best if we made some ally's other than Bosco." Kakuma didn't think about what she was saying and let it drop that BR was a ally with Bosco. She kept walking, waiting for the next enemy to show up.

It didn't take to long for them to come across the next set of enemy's, but they were not in fighting positions but instead were locked into some sort of ritual. They were chanting some sort of words, before either of them could act the one that seemed to be the leader of this group of cultists, called out loudly. All the cultists cried out like they were in pain or something, they all jumped back as a grout of lava and fire erupted from the ground in the center of the cultists. It formed into a creature of some sort, this caused Kakuma to frown. "so... that's kind of annoying." Kakuma gave her clawed hands a shake and prepped for combat as all the creature and the enemies got ready for combat. "Oh? you all done with your little play time?" Kakuma chided all who listened, they all charged at Zack and Kakuma, hoping to overwhelm them with numbers. "welp lets get this over with." Kakuma gave a snarl at the hell hounds behind them, all of them took off at the charging cultists. Kakuma wondered where she had left her blade now, not that it mattered she was ok with using her claws.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 12th November 2015, 1:01 pm

So Black Rose was allied with the nation of Bosco. He wondered if that was purposeful information given out or if it was a levyan slip. However, his attention was taken by the distraction of Elyx seemingly dissapearing taking Ignite and the hell hounds with him. When had he dissapeared? During the conversations of the alliance? How had Zack not noticed? He was quite dissapointed in himself. Sure Elyx wasn't as powerful as himself or even as power as Kakuma, but his magic power was still pretty high. High enough that Zack should of sense its absence sooner. However, it seemed there was no chance really to think on this as shortly after they ran into a group of enemies performing some kind of ritual. The ritual seemed to end with a huge spout of lava shooting up driving the casters back in pain. Not pain due to the lava itself, but seemingly due to the ritual. Had they given up some of their life force to summon the lava which had now formed itself into some kind of creature. A creature made of lava.

"Interesting." Zack said unsheathing his sword preparing himself for the battle. The cultists and hounds ran at them in a group. As if they felt they stood a chance in numbers. Now that was just precious. Sure, it gave them a better chance perhaps. Unless of course you were dealing with people vastly stronger than yourself. He seemed to blur slightly on the spot and then suddenly there were six Zacks all charging at the group that was charging at them. Each one a blur of movement. Suddenly, they were on the other side and many of the men and hounds had fallen leaving Zack facing the lava creature. The after images, for that was what they were, faded into non existence. A simple technique for making it seem like he was copying himself. In reality he was just moving so fast whilst bending light that he was seemingly in more than one place at once.

"So you think your hot stuff huh?" he said rolling his shoulder as he looked at the lava creature staring it down. "Let's see how well you do." He ran forward and then dashed to the side suddenly as a blast of lava was throwing at him. He grinned and ran up the wall springing off of it and slicing into the creature's side before hitting the opposite wall hand first and seemingly just hand standing there. A moment later he dropped down and began to run around it looking for opening. It continued to fire off blasts of lava and rock, but it couldn't hit the fast moving wizard saint.

Well, looks like the only thing to do after recon was regroup. It didn't take too much effort to depart from his group, using the effect of his Violin, he was able to blend in with the very air around them. With a bit of distance, he and Ignite were able to look through the cave a little bit further. A sweet scent was caught in the distance, not as in edible however, but more like a perfume sort of stench. That's not possible for an area like this one though, not many people were able to get by this area, let alone beings. But there is still a scent of something sweet in the caves. Maybe there could be something around here, should I have Coda and Lucky scope it out? Elyx thought to himself, tilting his head to the side while looking further into the increasing darkness ahead of him. Recon needed to be furthers, if only he could throw a bit of a less dangerous element. Wind is not a solid, nothing can prove that there is something ahead, mainly because the wind breaks itself up. It might be something innocent, or useful hopefully. And if he had Ignite fire a fireball that way, things will most certainly not end up for the best. The boy let out a sigh when he was stuck on this puzzle, placed his hands on his hips, and then turned around. For this moment, he decided to not pay any attention to it. Besides, with the explosions being heard from the outside, he should probably go over there and check it out. Looks like there is not much to work with here. Being here will do nothing, how unfortunate. Shall we try to make a dynamic entrance, we have to catch up with Kakuma and Zack before they worry over us. He asked, not waiting for an answer before blurring into the air once again. Lucky barked happily before chasing the trail of wind that the boy had used. Coda was a little bit more calm, and ran alongside Ignite, who followed the Violinist.

Upon the sight of seeing lava being thrown, Ignite snickered before crossing her arms. This was certainly a job of hers, and hers only. Elyx once again appeared, right next to the She Phoenix, a confident grin on his face as he knew exactly what Ignite was thinking. May I? She asked, her palms flat, but ready. Her eyes turned from their regular orange to a bright purple color. Go for it. Elyx replied, and now Ignite had her hands balled into fists. Nearby lava froze in place, though none of it near Zack during this time. The frozen lava was then sent the other way, Ignites fire manipulation turning the lava against the cultists. The lava was sent back as if it were a wave, like when surfing. The cultists were on the bad end of it now, and eventually, the wave crashed down onto a group of cultists. Once that happened, the She Phoenixs eyes are returned back to normal, and she stretches her arms into the air, as if stretching from a nap.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] - Page 2 Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 13th January 2016, 4:50 pm

Kakuma watched as the more powerful mage went to town on the enemy, she was about to act when the lava from around the area started to move on its own. Kakuma jumped ahead of it and grabbed as many of the weaker mages and fighters she could and pulled them away from the lava. Kakuma was going to have as many of them arrested as she could, which meant they needed to be alive to be arrested. Kakuma did however knock each on out as she moved about them, throwing them out of the way of the lava as she did. she didn't save all of them though she had to back off soon enough leaving quite a few to burn to death. She frowned and looked around to see Elyx and Ignite. She knew she could leave the remaining beasties to Zack. She walked up and popped both Elyx and Ignite upside the head. "HEY! I said we are arresting them!" Kakuma huffed and turned back to the fight. Kakuma walked over to the pools of lava and started "gathering" the light that the lave gave off. She figured they might have to fight in some dark areas and she wanted to have light to use. She turned back to the fight between zack and the lava monster and called out, "hey quit toying with it we have to move." Kakuma was pretty sure that Zack could handle the beast with very little effort, and that he was just trying to have some fun while doing it.

Kakuma looked around at all the unconscious bodys of the people she had just saved from lava flow. She sighed and wondered how many would just try and fight her troops, she knew they would not take kindly to that. She sighed and went about binding the men, making is so they had no possiable way of fighting back. After she was done she stood back and brushed her hands off on her already dirty dress. She turned to the others and spoke. "Righto lets go!" Kakuma didn't know if she should summon C.A.S.S.I.E or not, she knew that the AI could handle all the mooks until the Guard or BRSTG got to them. She sighed and called out. "Hold up , I'm calling in cass to deal with these idiots." Kakuma pulled out a small flare gun and pointed it up in the air, the gun was a custom design. The capsule had  a Long range transmitter which would send a signal to the AI, one that she could track to the flare. The flare part was a baloon type one that would use the heat of the flare to stay in the air for hours. With that Kakuma turned back to the group, tossing the used flaregun into a pool of lava. "alright we can go now."

Post by Rosetta Crawford 20th January 2016, 4:53 am

Normally, Zack would probably of ignored the words from Kakuma as it wasn't like in most situations she could boss him about. Plus it wasn't like the lava monster was currently posing a threat to any of the other members of the team so he could enjoy himself fighting. However, in this particular situation, much to his chagrin, he was technically under her command as a sort of 'parole officer'. After all, this job was community service in exchange for him smashing through Elyx's home, even if that wasn't entirely his fault. He quickly leaped at a wall kicking off at it and lunging at the creature. It launched off a blast of lava at him and he just grinned and spun his weapon around rapidly as runes began to light up down the length of the blade. "Heaven's Returner." he stated and suddenly as the lava hit the spinning, glowing blade it was suddenly being fired back with equal force. Of course, that was more for defensive purposes than anything else. It was just after the lava hit that Zack hit it, going straight through, and as he did so there was a blinding flash of light as something in it shattered. Zack's sword ended up impaled in the wall on the other side with him kneeling on top of it. He nodded as he watched the lava that had been animated fall lifeless and leaped off the wall, pulling his sword with him and sheathing it. He nodded to Ignite. "Thanks for the assist there Ignite. Would of been a lot harder without you taking care of that lava. Welcome back by the way." he said to the she phoenix and then winked at Elyx. "Ya know buddy I'm not one to judge, but you should save the snuggling till after the jobs done." he said though there was a definite joking tone to his voice. He was under no illusion that Elyx and Ignite would abandon a job for a quickie. They probably just needed to catch their breath or something.

He had no idea who or what CASSIE was but it seemed it was something that was summoned via a lacrima. Seemed kind of odd to suspend it on a balloon when they were inside a cave, but he wasn't one to judge. There was probably some logic behind it. Perhaps it got better signal when floating in the air rather than being lodged into a wall? That could make some sort of sense.

"I wonder how many of these guys we'll have to deal with." he said indicating the broken heart shaped lacrima he had shattered with his attack earlier. He'd noticed that the magic power of the creature had been emanating from a single point of its body and that was why he'd struck it. "Though judging by that display back there Ignite should be more than capable of dealing with it long enough for one of us to hit the heart"

    Magic remaining:

Elyx and Ignite would both look back towards their Guild Master as they were being scolded, as if they actually did murder the enemies. Would one attack that consists of the element the attackers are used to really kill them? The wave would die down to reveal the bodies of the cultists knocked out, but not dead. The She Phoenix would give a sly smile while the violinist would tilt his head to the side. Yeah, we know that Kaku. Like I would actually kill them, they just need to sleep for a few hours. The boy would explain before looking down towards the enemies, a smile on his face as they would they approach them. The bomb was still on his being, just one release and it is game over. That was intended for the enemy that they have to face last, and if they were unable to handle it alone. With the amount of power Zack has shown recently, that might not be such a problem. What was somewhat a problem was when that same mage made fun of them for their small disappearance. Fortunately, the boy was able to understand it and take it as a joke, and fortunately for Zack, since the joke was targeted towards him only, Ignite did not hear a thing. You know what Zack, I'm going to force you to brush your teeth before drinking orange juice after this, man. The boy would answer back, just as jokingly before placing his fist against the Wizard Saints arm, a small held back punch shown in a friendly way. He seemed friendly and truly did not mean to completely screw up the house, not only that, but he was extremely helpful in this job as well! The Rune Knights won't even know about this, the guilds need not know either. Just as long as this was paid off, this was a clean state.

Kaku then stated that they could go, so they would not pick up the cultists that were now on the ground. Instead, they would walk over to her from behind. The She Phoenix was flattered by the remark made by the Wizard Saint, a toothy grin on her face as she placed her hands into fists. Those fists them became two balls of flames as fire swarmed around both of the palms. Elyx in the meantime would have his own place in his pockets as he would continue walking along with the group.

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 25th January 2016, 6:24 am

Kakuma Looked at the lacrima that zack was talking about and cocked her head, "hmm don't suppose you to could help me get on intact... with out the beastie?" Kakuma straightened up and pulled out a small book and took some notes. "I'm pretty sure i can use that to make a pretty powerful explosive and would like to give it a shot." Kakuma made one more note then put the book away. "anyways we should move on." Kakuma watched as the Wizard Saint and her ace got on well, causing her to smile. She moved on further into the cave and came out into a clearing, she looked around to see if anyone was here. The place was barren for the most part, a pool of lava and what looked like bones. Kakuma wandered out and poked one of the bones with her foot, it fell to ash instantly. "Huh this must be a sacrificial pit or something." Kakuma looked around some more and caught sight of two more tunnels, well one tunnel and was a cave. Kakuma squinted to make out what was in the cave, but that was not necessary as a group of hell hounds came running out, howling at the group. Kakuma frowned and let out a sigh, "Come on.... don't they ever give up." Kakuma only got one step forward before something came crashing through the hole in the roof, Kakuma held up he hand so she didn't get anything in her eyes. "NOW WHAT!!"

"System active... scanning... 10-20-40-80-100 percent, Damage... 2%... Activating Artificial personality... Active.... Run..." The voice was coming from a white mech that had fallen in the center of the hounds, Knocking most of them off their feet while dazing the others. The Mech stood up and looked around, upon catching site of Kakuma and Elyx the machine pranced over. "KAKUMA! ELYX! What are YOU doing here?!?" The voice was different from the one heard before, the start up voice lacked any kind of personality and was monotone. This voice was girly, thought the robotic sound was still there, and quite flamboyant.

Kakuma blinked at the Machine. "Cassie... didn't i call you in to go deal with the enemies near the beacon?" Kakuma looked quite annoyed, she sighed as some of the hound stirred. "never mind... we can deal with that in a minute... first... we deal with the hounds." Kakuma moved past the Machine and drew her sword, muttering something under her breath as she did.

As the hell hounds began to stir Zack suddenly blurred towards them and grabbed two of them by the neck lifting them off the ground. With a quick spinning motion he hurtled them into two others sending them all flying into the walls. He smirked as two more leaped towards him and he simply fell backwards causing the two to collide together before he kicked upwards sending them flying out through the hole cassie had caused. He stared at them for a moment wondering if he had kicked too hard. He looked at the remaining two hounds and let off a slight flare of magic power bending light for form a strange aura behind him and also putting a shadow over his face. The two of them looked at each other and let out a yelp before running away.

"Sorry about that buddies, but I didn't see much point us wasting energy with these mooks." he said as the light he had bent returned to normal. He hadn't even broken a sweat. However, it was now that he looked over at Cassie with a raised eyebrow. He was about to ask what exactly it was and what it was doing here when Kakuma mentioned it being called Cassie and that it should be by the beacon. So this was the Cassie he had mentioned. "Nice to meet you Cassie. I'm Zack. Now guys shall we get going?"

He extended his palm and focused on the glove. From what he could sense the stronger magical aura was coming from the left tunnel. Suddenly, in a blur of motion he seemed to go down the right one and yet he also appeared to go down the left and be right there as well. After a couple of seconds his body in the main tunnel stopped looking blurry. "Right one is just a cave with lava pools at the end. No hidden passages or small tunnels. Left one is empty as far as I went down, but it does have a strong magic presence. I suggest we go that way."

He was about to start walking when he realised he hadn't answered Kakuma's question. "Well, it will prolong the battle, but if you can keep any mooks off of me I'll do my best. No promises though." he said and then winked. "Guessing getting one of those will cut down my community service a bit though right?" As he said those words more of the lava hounds came along. The two that ran off and another four. He sighed deeply and then walked forwards. He growled and stepped forward flaring off his magic power again, but it seemed in these numbers they seemed brave. He sighed deeply and slammed his fists into two of them sending them flying backwards at high force. "This is getting old."

What, are you not happy to see us? Elyx would ask with a smile on his face, he was happy that the Guild Pet was now there to give them a bit of an assist. He would tilt his head to the side and smile gently when he had seen this new ally back on their side. Though he did not think they would be needed, she would be a nice assist to get them through the job faster. It was a nice event to occur, and now he would not have to exhaust much more magic. Just barely right now, with Ignite and her ability to manipulate anything that related to fire, and him with the ability to control the oxygen of the flames and possibly enhance or lower them down, it was a dream come true. An extreme job such as this one has been selected for him to endure, only for it to become easy in the end. It was just a shame that it had no reward in the end. Ignite crunched both of her hands into fists, a confident grin on her face as she then saw some more hounds. What happened to the other two that were with here was anyones guess, he personally did not care. Lucky and Coda, right? Or maybe he was a little bit off? Regardless, it had been so long, and he was now unable to confirm their names. On top of that, they just seemed to like the She Phoenix, they could not care less about him if Ignite were not there with him. Maybe they ran on her? Maybe they went corrupt and were the two hounds that Zack was able to quickly chase out? Not a bad job done right there, much better than the boy could do. One day he would be that strong though, he needed that sort of intimidation in order to bring down Shadelle.

With a smile on her face, she would place her palm out to the final hound before crunching it back into a fist, and job like that, when it tried to shoot fire from its mouth, it would let out nothing but breath. I cut off its fire, it is merely nothing more than a dog. And now it does not have its fire to defend itself, it feels helpless in combat so... And like shew had predicted, it would turn the other cheek and bail out to follow the other two hounds that Zack sent to the time out corner. The She Phoenix would then yawn while stretching her hands into the air.
