Kill it with Fire!!!!

Wolfe was sitting in the guild hall and waiting as he tapped his foot on the floor while he sat on a bench. He was just being dramatic at this point. He really wasn't anxious, he was mostly just playing the role. This was his first mission with Elyx, his new team member. They had met on Wolfe's C rank exam, as Elyx had been the one giving it to Wolfe. They didn't really cross paths much since then, but recently they had met by chance and had some chance to catch up. Elyx had been fairly impressed with Wolfe's hard work to move up so fast they talked and after a few they decided to make a team. It worked even better as this was the last job Wolfe needed to do before he could his B rank exam, and it looked like Elyx would be doing that as well.

Wolfe jumped up and with a smile turned into bolt form and hit the ground. The bolt then darted back and forth till it hit the front door and hit just outside the guild then it was gone. He was off and in the air. In truth, he had really started to love moving around in this form and he was finally getting better at it. As best as he could tell he was th fastest he had ever been, and he could hold it for twice as long as he used to be able to.

It took no time as at as he landed down in Clover Town just outside of the train station. He then looked around for his partner.

Elyx and Ignite were at Clover town, sitting on top of the top of a shop, swinging their legs over the edge. They were looking for their new teammate, someone that Elyx saw value in the guild. Otherwise, they would have never formed a team in the first place, Elyx learned to be picky about the people he chose to go on jobs with. Ignite taught him that not everyone was exactly trustworthy, which is why the by had been avoiding teams for a long time. The Guild Ace Ritual brought a little bit of that lesson into him, forced marriage in order to become an Ace? That was a stupid idea, and the boy not had a tattoo on his left hand to show his freedom of never marrying anyone. Consequences were going to come after the fact, but the Violinist could not care less. He treats his heart with care, he would not generate fake emotions for someone who probably just wanted him for his power.

The boy and the She-Phoenix looked downwards as they felt the magic sense of the tattoo of Black Rose, signalling that someone from the guild came here. The both of them dropped down from the roof, allowing them to reach the ground. Falls like that were nothing nowadays. The Black rose member is around here Ignite. Be on the lookout to see if it's that Wolfe guy.

Wolfe started to look around as he knew he felt a magical power around here. He figured it was Elyx but he couldn't pin point it at the second. He started to look around and turned this corner and and that but had no luck. To be honest he was a little surprised actually. Elyx was quicker then he thought, and maybe next time he would have to see for himself. However, for right now he needed to find Elyx first and get this job done. Wolfe thought over the job in his head as he walked around. It was a pretty simple job actually, but he needed one more for the rank up exam. Then it was on to much better jobs. Once he was B rank, he could hit up some A ranks with Elyx, and then maybe he might get a good challenge.

After a few more moments he turned a corner and saw Elyx as he was about to turn another corner. It seemed they were playing tag at this point. Wolfe bolted up and landed next to them "Hello Elyx, how are you?" Wolfe smiled at Elyx, as it was nice to be on a job with his new team member and fellow Black Rose member.

Ignite was the first to take the question up with an introduction. Hello Wolfe. I'm Ignite, the idiot to my right is Elyx. The She-Phoenix announced before getting nudged on the shoulder playfully by the Violinist. It was clear that the both of them could be fun whenever they wanted to be, though it was probably not the time to be screwing around. After clearing his throat, Elyx continued the introduction. As she said, I am Elyx, though you probably remember from before. Anyways, we have to help so idiot with the tree again... This is the third time I am taking the job. You would think they had learned by now. The boy explained before putting his hands on his hips and looked down for a small moment. He then lifted his head up and placed his grin back onto his face again. We should all probably depart and get this done with. The enemies don't like to wait for too long. And with that, Ignite was the first to walk all of a sudden. Everything was happening so quickly, but then again, Elyx had forgotten how easy a C rank job was. It probably felt fast because he was above it now.

Wolfe smirked and  gave a slight laugh at the phoenix spoke up first. Wolfe knew what it was like to have a quick to answer pet. He would introduce them both to Loki later, but for now getting th job done now was more important. Wolfe couldn't believe it when he heard Elyx say this was his third time doing this job. It seemed the goblin and vulcan were either very stupid, or very persistent, but then again that could be construed as stupid as well in the right circumstances. This seemed like one of those circumstances.

Wolfe saw as Elyx was off and Wolfe turned to bolt form and jolted right next to him as they moved along. He was surprised at Elyx's speed, this obviously wasn't his top speed, but it was still nothing to scoff at. If Wolfe wasn't able to move around lie he could, keeping up would most likely be impossible to be honest. This part of their team up was great for Wolfe. It meant he wouldn't have to hold back that much or that often.

It didn't take too long for them to make a good distance, and from little info they had on the job fro this time around, the issue should be just ahead.

So enlighten me with a bit of knowledge Wolfe. Now that we are on a team, what is the goal of the team for you? Elyx asked, sort of in a mentor sort of way. He was trying to be like Nimpha, who would do the same thing to him whenever he gained something new. The Treasure Hunter believed that some things didn't need reason, but whenever something that would affect other was chosen, you must have a reason. To go blindly alongside someone was a terrible idea, and that was what the Violinist wanted to know. If he were going blindly on a team, things might end up in a disaster. Such as the fact that he went on the first time, but then ended up getting attacked by Shadelles illusionists, almost making Elyx turn on Fiore and make plans to destroy it. He was convinced he was insane, and almost embraced it until someone reached out their hand and took him out of the nightmare that he was living in. Now that Elyx as out of the hell hole that he had to go through, he wanted to make sure no one else went inside of it. Anyone who does, anyone who falls in because of something he did or didn't do... That would be his last regret.

Wolfe could still make sounds as he moved in this form thankfully. He thought about what Elyx had asked him and the answer was not hard at all. He knew instantly what he wanted and what he hoped for "That answer is one of the easiest and quickest i can ever answer. I want to make a bond Elyx. Not just with you but with the guild. I have been alone since i was 8, i have no family, no home till recently, and i am dying..... bonds... the one thing i have never had... its what i desire more then anything. bond help change the world if strong enough. I don't always agree with Kakuma, or anyone for that matter, but bond help us understand them and find a place where we find solice in each other. I want to be remembered after i die, but i want to be remembered by the things i do, not the things i didn't. I feel bonds help us to achieve this." In truth no one in the guild knew he was dying... not even Kakuma. However as his team member and someone willing to take time out of their life to be involved with Wolfe he deserved to know

As Wolfe continued he spoke "Please don't tell anyone else about that... no one knows... not even Kakuma, your the only person who knows..." it would be obvious from the sound of Wolfe's voice this was something even he wasn't sure he, Wolfe, himself was ok with knowing.

You know, I personally would not mind that sort of lifestyle you know. Elyx explained before putting his hands behind his head and looked up to the sky, a smile on his face as he took in all of the information before turning it into something good. It was a problem that he was able to see the bright side of, it ws simply an advantage of being an optimist. After a few seconds of silence, Elyx put his thoughts about the current situation at hand, he decided to let his thoughts on Wolfes problem escape from his lips. Gently, but with meaning as well. So you're going to die soon? In my eyes, I would see plenty of value in life then. every breathe I take, every move I make, it all seems so beautiful. Life is not endless, eventually, we will all end. When we do, we may never have life again, so while we all have it, we have to treasure it. Especially when you know you are going to die, you see the value of life. Admittedly, you took things for granted before, but none of that matters now. Elyx explained with his head being put back down and his arms resting by his sides. Now he was going to use his power to make sure something was set straight. As your Guild Ace of Petals, I advise you enjoy life. It's precious.

Wolfe listened as Elyx explained his view on what Wolfe had said, and to a degree he could understand the ideas and thy were right. Wolfe had for the first time in his life started to get his priorities straight. He had spent all his life planning for a murder and truthfully he never even thought past that. However, since his time in the guild the thought had subsided and he was instead looking for a way to save his life. The one thing that Elyx did forget was that Wolfe was only 17, and its a little hard at 17 to just accept that your going to die for reasons you have no control over and are not natural.

Wolfe continued along in bolt form next to Elyx "There is some truth to your words Elyx, however, try to remember that its a lot to swallow at 17.... and its not that i am dying that is getting to me..... it that he cause it... and i am so close to fixing what that bastard did to me... but i don't know if i can. However, i am enjoying myself for the first time in my life so don't worry about that." Wolfe just didn't have the answers for everything, but he was trying to keep his head together in the meantime.

Well, 15 is another age to take mental damage as well. My past is irrelevant however, I prefer to bury the topic. Elyx explained before looking forward once again Everyone seemed to have some sort of past, no one had an actual normal life. Now that he thought about it, that statement could not be any more true at this point. Ignite decided to somewhat brighten the mood as they all came up to an encounter. Look over here boys, it seems we have found a Railroad. Ignite explained before pointing her right index finger downwards onto the metal. There it was all right, and now they have to follow it downwards to see where it would lead. The boy smiled as he noticed that this was just like the other times he took this job. If that were the case... And that was when the boy activated one of his favorite spells. The boy pulled out his Violin from his knapsack quickly as he began to run down the track. It was not going to take too long if he could execute the attack correctly. And soon, while he was playing his Violin, he found a small heard of enemies pushing onto the tree. Bingo, now was the best time to strike.

Wolfe agreed, this topic was one to be talked about at a better time. His past was something he wasn't happy to talk about and honestly not something he should be focusing on at all right now. He had been able to block most of it out recently and that was a big deal for Wolfe. He just said one thing as a closing point "Your right, this topic only leads down a dark path, and from what you said, you are looking for a brighter one, just like me so lets just settle on Bonds." just after he finished the phoenix spoke up and announced that the railroad tacks were right ahead. Wolfe and Elyx started down the tracks.

As thy started onto the tracks, Wolfe saw as Elyx pulled out his violin and started into a run down the tracks as he started to pull his bow stick across the strings as if he was about to begin a song. Wolfe Bolted right next to him and as he did he noticed the group of vulcans as well. Wolfe jolted next to Elyx still "You mid if i take 2 of them for now? i need to let off a little extra energy." Wolfe hoped Elyx would be ok with that.

There were three vulcans, nice... Well, they weren't hard back then, how hard can they be now? Ignite even yawned as she looked at them, making it as loud as she could to emphasize her boredom. All right Wolfe, you want two enemies, they're yours. Ignite, you and I can handle this dead dumbass right here. Elyx explained with a calm smile, which added more intimidation to what he had said. Innocence is a nice role to have, it works to make things calm, and it works to make things more threatening as well. If only his voice were a little lower, it would sound like a growl and the enemies would really be caught off guard by his looks. The boy put his two swords out, his eyes shifting from light brown to bright green. The Violin shattered to many pieces of light asz it was then brought into his knapsack once again. He activated the effect of Chidoris Keep, allowing to heavily speed himself up. The Vulcan made an attempt to strike the Violinist from above, but the ending result proved to be unsuccessful as the boy stepped to the side. The Vulcan spun around quickly to launch another attack, only to catch on fire as Ignite finished it, sending it to crisps. The fire so hot, even the blood evaporated. This is boring, can we go home now Elyx? Ignite whined as she crossed her arms.

Wolfe smirked as Elyx didn't mind if he had 2 of them. Wolfe focused all his power to the middle of his body and then bolts of lightning started to crash from the sky and hit on him. His body had arcs of lightning arcing off of it as he jept normal form and dashed at the vulcans. As the first one swung at Wolfe he ducked and hit the ground and slide through it's legs and as he came out the other side he grabbed the vulcan's tail and pulled himself up and threw himself up and over. He landed on the Vulcan's head and stood there for a second.

It was obvious the vulcan was getting mad as it started to huff and then swung at Wolfe. He jumped off and did a flip and landed on the other vulcan's head. He heard as this Vulcan also started to huff and went to swing at Wolfe. He jumped from that vulan's head and landed on a nearby boulder and sat down as he took a look at them. He was toying with them, and it was just a good way to let some extra energy off at this point.

Elyx answered Ignites question rather easily, he was sitting on a beach chair, a nice cool drink in is hands. His body no longer had a shirt, and instead of a pair of jeans, he had a pair of black and orange swim trunks as well. Ignite in the meantime had a blue once piece on all of a sudden, the magic of going on jobs that didn't require much thinking. She sat on the seat next to him and stretched, watching hers legs and arms before grabbing a drink on the table. On that table was an umbrella to give them shade and a radio, playing nice soothing dubstep music. Ignite placed a pair of shades on and placed her hands on her stomach before both she and Elyx were watching Wolfe on their fight. Lets watch our teammate crush these fools. Elyx said with a smile on his face. Wolfe was not one that people should underestimate. If he continued to fight the way he did, he would end up being as good as Elyx in combat, possibly better if he wanted to put that much work in. But now, they were going to have to deal with the tree. Ignite had that covered though, she put her hand towards the giant tree, and slowly, but surely, the fire was burning the tree to ashes. That was that, the job was done, once again.

Wolfe just danced around witht eh vulcans as he dodged one then another and jumped over one then the next and even did a one handed handstand on one of their heads. Wolfe noticed Elyx all comfy with his chair and drink and bolted over in a flash and made himself a drink and bolted back to the fight.

As he danced around the Vuclans they seemed like they were getting slower as Wolfe just dodged between them and spun around their attacks all the while not spilling a drop of his drink. After he was about halfway done with the drink he decided to just end this. He side stepped one of the vulcan's attacks and jumped straight up and caught the vulcan in the chin with his knee and sent it flying backwards into its back and it was out cold. He then saw as the first one saw what happened and turned to run. Wolfe just smirked as he kicked a baseball sized rock up off the ground with his foot and caught it with his free hand and threw it at the vulcan. It hit him in the back of the head and as it stumbled forward and fell to it's knees Wolfe jumped forward and caught the rock in mid air with a kick as it bounced back and sent it flying at the vulcans head again, and on the second hit the vulcan let out a loud grunt and fell over.

Wolfe waled back over and placed the half down drink on the table "Ok.... so yeah... we sitting around a little longer are are we heading home yet?" Wolfe smirked at his new team-mate and he knew this could be fun.
