Special Characteristics: Sora will occasionally overhear individuals whisper of her, stating that they see an abnormality regarding her being. They claim to see a very faint, blurry outline of wings sprouting forth from her back. But little do individuals know that what they see is exactly what they are claiming. Sora does indeed have a pair of white wings that can visually change regarding opacity, either appearing very faint to fully visible. The wing span is about five feet long and the feathers are that of a fluffy, white layering.
Personality: Sora is a being from the heavens above that descended upon the land to guide a soul to a haven of peace, only living and observing among the land of Fiore afterwards to protect a singular soul as one final wish. The mysterious deity has a personality where she seeks to assist those in need regardless of what her task may be, often being found or seen to provide even the simplest acts of charity. From bestowing a few Jewels to someone along the streets to simply taking in a rant from a raving lunatic along the land, this angel is one who takes the time to observe and assist those in need alike the very person she had been guarding before their passing. Sora also takes things a step forward to get to the root of the problem so that in any circumstance, not one soul needs rescuing at all - be them human or animal.
Sora is a very soft-spoken, private, quiet, yet stubborn deity that find it easy to communicate with any creature regardless of origin. The female's goal in every situation is to create balance and communicate in humane manners, her movements always subtle and flow together when necessary - otherwise keeping herself in one position at all times. When communicating with others, she tends to act warmly and with a sense of kindness, but tends to always find herself in a form of solitude in the end to avoid attachment to others. She's aware that her duty and vow will end when the one she's looking after passes on and guides them to the heavens or the very depths of hell one way or another.
Although, one important trait one may find when getting to know Sora (slowly but surely) is that she has no idea what to do regarding herself. She has no idea what she prefers or what she truly likes, or even how to properly and normally take care of herself regarding human means. The deity has much to learn regarding the ways the world works, and needs to learn that she has to take care of herself. The Guardian is also one to work herself to the bone if need be just like her duties in the skies above, working herself to the brink of falling to sleep.
Regarding any form of romance or a close connection, Sora is completely devoted and extroverted to that creature or person - setting aside any time she has for them for anything that they might need. Whether they need assistance in the simplest of tasks to the most dangerous of journeys, Sora is completely loyal to those closest and most precious to her. It is in this regard that she forgets that she is an entirely different being from most individuals around her, feeling like a true human being that experiences content, bliss, and any other emotion like every other creature in existence.
In regards to battle, Sora will mainly focus on making it out alive if not the singular soul she is vowed to be protecting there. In both circumstances, the deity will not stand for any form of killing - instead wishing to avoid such results by reaching to the root of the issue and strike. She will focus on the main issue before turning her attention to the other means, knowing that it is nigh impossible to control each and every aspect around the environment. Sora is also one to both follow and lead if necessary, all depending on the situation. She is more of an advocate in dire situations, ready to be the one to calm others down and keep stress levels low if necessary by retaining as much of a balance in the group as possible.
Individually, Sora is silent and aloof in battle even in the aftermath. She believes anything can happen and won't relax fully until it is all over. Her own awareness runs especially high in groups, or if she's just not alone in general. Despite whatever the deity may be experiencing at the time, it is even then that she will ignore her own needs for the sake of others - despite being very private and secretive about herself and her origin. Sora also believes in every aspect of the word 'teamwork' and the policy of no one being left behind, whether they are friend or foe. A life is still a life even if they deserve the most dire of consequences.
Likes:
- Nature: Sora isn't sure what it is about nature in general, but she feels drawn to it and all of its aspects. She finds herself loving the outdoors and can be found spending most of her time outside, and this is also where she can be found most out of any other environment. (Albeit, finding her exact location is easier said than done.)
- Animals: Sora may not act it at first but she carries an enormous adoration for any creature of any kind. She loves to interact with any kind ranging from the smallest of birds to the largest of ferocious creatures, finding herself able to keep calm even in the most tense of circumstances.
- Red: Sora's favorite color. The deity can always be found wearing this color and also attracted to most mysteries in the world dealing with the aspect, her attention particularly captured easily.
Dislikes:
- Inhumane Methods: That is one manner that Sora will never appreciate - from killing to torture. She believes there are some things that should have never been attempted or even done, and will do her best to prevent such situations happening around her if necessary.
- Breaking Vows: The maiden won't stand for vows being broken if she can help them. She pushes herself to avoid such a thought or even action at all costs, and if she ever found herself breaking any form of vow. . . she would fall into a quiet battle against herself, being left in disarray.
- Death: If there is one thing that Sora detests more than anything, it's death itself. She feels powerless every single time a person slips away towards whatever realm they are destined to go to, unable to protect them from whatever claims their life (with the exception of old age). This dislike also pertains to the death of the very person she is watching over, fighting with all of her might to protect them to make sure such a thing never happens again.
Motivations:
- I Have To Stay: The only reason Sora is staying among the life of the people of Fiore is because she has a vow to keep, protecting one singular soul with all that she has. It is the last wish that someone she looked after for years asked of her to do, and the angel desires to see such a thing through until the bitter end.
- You Must Live On: Sora has no idea how the individual she is looking after will handle the news that she has to deliver to them. Whatever the case may be, the deity will look after anyone relating to not only the woman she looked after but for the person she is looking after as well.
- Exploration: While she is among the land of the living, Sora wants to at least explore the lands - be it in her own free time or with whomever she is with at the time. She feels there is more to the world she still hasn't seen since the last time she was among the plane of existence, and wishes to see how much everything has changed.
Fears:
- Needles: Despite how the angel always remains calm and softspoken, if there is one thing that sets her into a state of shock and an internal frenzy, it's needles. The maiden never wishes to go near them or even interact with them, and if one manages to even pick one up near her. . . Prepare for an interesting site to behold.
- Automatonophobia: The maiden also carries a big fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statue. . . Basically anything that falsely represents a sentient being. Having been warned about such existences in the heavens above, Sora has always been very tense and fearful to encounter such forces of the lands. The reaction the maiden carries can be rather priceless depending on what is before her at the time - from jumping to even fainting.
- Bats: During her times in nature in varying instances over the years of exploration, there has been one creature that Sora cannot handle. Bats have always terrified the angel and she dares not go near them after an incident happened in history long forgotten that she dares to never speak of.
General Appearance
Height: Sora stands at a mere height of 5' 0", having been such for as long as her mind allows her to remember.
Weight: Sora weighs near the exact minimum of someone of her small stature - weighing 98 lbs.
Hair: The deity's hair is a pure shade and color of blonde, the length reaching to her chin in a bob-cut. There are strands of hair that can be found messily strewn about, but quite a portion of it is found to be kept in place by varying colors of ribbons that are always found on the right side of Sora's head.
Eyes: Sora's eye color is that of varying shades of green, all depending on the lighting of the environment around her and the deity's current emotions. Their vibrancy and shade tend to grow more dim with more negative emotions (such as sadness, anger, or loneliness) while with more positive emotions the color only grows brighter until it practically shines (such as happiness, laughter, or any form of fun and joy).
Skin Tone: The skin tone for the maiden is light although it can be found to grow pale depending on how weak she is in certain, life-threatening circumstances.
Appearance: Overall, Sora is a petite angel from the skies above that is unfamiliar yet curious about the world around her. The maiden has taken quite a liking to the color of red along with dresses, hence being found mainly wearing the color red and dresses of almost any kind and culture quite often. The dresses are mainly always red, carrying any array of a pattern that one can possibly think of. Be it lines stretching vertically down the dress to elegant swirls decorating it, Sora can be found wearing such designs with comfort and content. It is also always that she is found wearing white stockings, that never changing along with her black flats that she also always adorns no matter what the outfit is that she adorns on that occasion and day - even in battle. There are varying ribbons of colors that can be found in her hair on the right side each day, but warm colors such as blue and purple are the one she tends to stick to. The reason for such a pattern is unknown to all but her, and she tends to keep it that way.
