Twisted Ice and Magic, an Island of Icy Terror

It was a clear sky as far as the eye could see what day, with not even a single cloud in the sky. The sun was bearing down and the warmth was welcoming to the beautiful day that lay ahead. However, this was all about to change soon. Wolfe was in Magnolia today as he had made his way here to test a new a restaurant that had opened in town. He had just finished and was pretty happy with the food, and he was just sitting on the patio area sipping on his drink enjoying the day. After a little bit Wolfe was just about to get up when he overheard a guy talking to another guy about a wizard he heard had gone missing recently on some island cover with ice while on some job. This peaked Wolfe interest as he had only heard of one ice island and no one went there because there was nothing really there. Wolfe sure didn't know anything about a job there either. Wolfe decided it was time to head home and look into this, and make sure it wasn't someone from his guild that had gone missing.

Wolfe left Magnolia shortly after and headed on his way back home to the guild. Luckily he could make the trip in a little over about 2 hours in lightning from. So Wolfe was off and on his way home.

About 2 hours later he landed on the outskirts of town and took a breather to give himself a second to recover. He was quick in that form, but anything more then an hour started to take a little bit out of him. After a few minuted he was back to bolt form and made his way to the steps of the guild hall. He then made his way into the guild hall and straight to the job board. After looking for a few second he came across it. There it was, it was a job handed down from council itself. As Wolfe read over the job he could see why this was an issue. It seems many people had tried but failed and there was a lot of questions about where the figures came from and how they came to be. Wolfe was now set on this job and seeing what was up. His new obsession with magic made this even more interesting to him. He needed to see if he could find the true source of this magic, as it almost seemed like it was living magic.

Wolfe had to take this job, and he needed to take it now. He walked over to the counter and told them he was taking this job. It was noted and it was now all his to do now. He needed to get ready and head out at the first chance he could. Unfortunately, he had lost track of time and it was evening. He knew he needed to leave early in the morning, as he didn't know this island and from what he read he needed to not put himself at the disadvantage of not having enough light to see where he was going or what dangers lurked around him. Wolfe with must reluctantly decided to head home and take off tot he island in the early morning.

Like always Wolfe didn't sleep much that night and just before damn he was up and getting ready. Wolfe didn't now how long this job was going to take or how bad the dangers were so he packed fairly lightly. After he was ready he headed out his door and an instant later he was gone and a bolt of lightning could be seen flying through the sky. It shouldn't take more then a few hours to get there in this form so Wolfe just set himself on the path and waited. As he flew over the ocean he took notice to how beautiful it was at sunrise. Since he started moving around in this form he found himself not enjoying the view as much as when he first learned how to do it. This moment reminded him of that.

After a few hours he finally saw the island in the horizon, and then quicker then then he knew he was almost on the island. As he looked down at it from here, the island was named properly. From what he could see, there wasn't a spot in his vision that wasn't covered in snow or ice. Wolfe landed down near a frozen over building. From what little he had read before he left it seemed that this was once a resort island, and he assumed this building was once used by the resort.

Wolfe looked around and all he saw was ice and snow as far as the eye could see.

As Wolfe took a longer second to really take in the area around him he could see that maybe under all the snow and ice this place could have been a beautiful resort and beach area. However, as this point it was nothing more then a frozen wasteland, a pure ice tundra as far as he could see. In the far distance looking towards the inner parts of the island, Wolfe could make out fairly large mountains and from what he could tell was a almost blizzard looking climate. Here near the beach area it wasn't as bad, but the effects were clear as day. This was now belonged to the cold grip of ice and and snow.

Wolfe turned and took a better look at the smaller building near him, and it turned out to be a resort bungalow. Wolfe slowly made his way over to the small building and took a look through a window, but with all the ice on it, he couldn't get a good look inside. So decided to try and find a door so he could look inside. He was pretty sure he knew what he would find, and if he was right, it would only confirm his theory regarding this island. As he made his way around to the side of the building facing the ocean he could see in the distance, in the direction the building had been blocking, a much larger building and scattered along the coast were more bungalows like the one he stood in front of now, leading up to the larger building in the distance. From what Wolfe could tell the larger building must have been the main resort building. Wolfe would get to that later, for right now he was interesting on getting inside of this bungalow.

Wolfe searched around for a few before he found what looked like it could be a door, but of course it was frozen shut and unless Wolfe tried really hard it was going to stay that way.

Wolfe fiddled with the door for a few, before he gave in and decided he was going to just have to do this the old fashioned way. He took a step back, turned to his side and braced his arm up and brought his other arm up and grabbed on to his arm tightly. He then titled his body a little and took a deep breath and plowed his shoulder into the door. As he did he saw some of the ice crack around the frame and felt the door give way a little. Wolfe then reared back and came in with another shot into the door. Once again ice cracked off in every direction and the door gave way even more. Wolfe could tell this last time should do the trick, and he reared back for one more go at the door. As he reared all the way back he took a deep breath and barreled his shoulder into the door and knocked the clean of any ice that was around the frame of it. Wolfe then took a step back and straightened himself up and reached his right hand out to grab the door.

Wolfe pushed the door open and as it slowly creaked open it made a grinding sound as the joints were still frozen solid. When it finally came to a stop and the door was wide open Wolfe got a good glance at everything inside, and it was as he thought. Everything was frozen was well, and then he saw what he was looking for. Hanging in the corner from the ceiling was a potted plant, and it was frozen solid. Every leaf and stem of the plant hanging down was in perfect condition, but it had a thin layer or ice covering it and it was forever stuck in a perfect, but perpetual state of existence. Wolfe then knew his theory was true, and what ever happened to this island was magical, and quick. If the freezing had taken time and had been the result of something more inland and had spread, then the plants would of withered and died from the cold weather. As Wolfe went over the details in his head it all aligned with he idea that this winter wasteland was caused and most like continued by a truly powerful magical effect.

It was right at that moment when his train of thought was derailed and his natural fighting instincts overwhelmed him. He was flooded with the feeling like something was coming, and without even thinking he tucked and rolled forward into the bungalow just as a hammer of ice came crashing down where has just been not but a second before. As Wolfe gauged the effect of the hit from the hammer as it shattered in impact he figured it wasn't a very powerful hit, but it would have still left a mark if it had connected.

As he looked at the opened door area a ice figure seemed to move right into the door way. What made it weird was it was slightly creepy to watch it move actually. It didn't move it's legs but rather seemed to almost slide across the ice like it was skating. Wolfe deduced it was most likely an effect of it being another by product of the magic that created this place and that was just the way it moved. As Wolfe got a better look at the figure he could make out that it was a female in it's basic structure and look. However, he didn't have too much time to think about it as it moved it's hand and held it out at Wolfe, then from almost nowhere spears of ice came flying from the figure. Wolfe who was still crouching from his previous dodge rolled to his left to dodge the attack. As he came to s stop once again in a crouching position he felt a slight change in the air right behind him and he jumped to his right landing right where he had been just a moment ago as another hammer fell where he had just been. As he turned and looked he saw as half of another figure was right behind where he had been. He then saw as the figure continued to erupt from the floor of ice under him until it was a full figure just as the one in the door. There was one difference though, and that was the figure was slightly less detailed then the one in the door. Then it hit Wolfe, on the flier it mentioned figures of different strengths, and it made sense. The more detailed the figure, the more powerful it was.

It then hit him that even though this was great and he had time t piece together some bit of information, he was in a fairly small room, and that was not in his best interest, nor was it giving him and kind of strategical advantage. Wolfe jumped to his feet and dashed at the weaker of the two, and just as he was upon it he jumped in the air and brought his feet up, and with all his might he kicked both feet out and they made contact mid chest of the figure. As they made contact he use the force to kick himself off and in the direction of the figure in the door. The figure he kicked cracked and broke under the pressure of his hit and shattered as he pushed himself away. Wolfe twisted his body in mid air and as the figure in the door shot another ice spear at him he tucked and hit the floor in mid roll. He barely dodged the spear, but the maneuver worked exactly as Wolfe intended and as he came out of the roll he was right at the figure's feet and he balled his right hand as he threw it up and stood at the same time landing a solid uppercut to the chin of the figure and breaking its head and sending into pieces in every direction and a few seconds later the whole body cracked and fell apart into a pile of shattered ice at his feet.

As Wolfe took a step over the pile and brought the front of his body just past the threshold of the door he heard a whizzing sound, but it was a tad to late. From his right flew a few ice spears. He threw his head back, but the tip of a spear clipped the bridge of his nose and took a little skin off. At the same time he had tried to pull his whole body back but another spear caught the front of his stomach as he tried to pull back. Once again it wasn't bad and it barley skimmed the surface but it was enough to take some skin and cause it to slightly bleed the black goop he called blood. Wolfe mad at himself for falling for an attack like that. Wolfe just reached over to his left and grabbed the door by the sides and started pulling. There were some sounds as he broke the frozen hinges, but then with a loud *CRACK* the door broke free sending bits of ice all over the place. Wolfe then held it in front of himself ans he walked out of the door again. This time the spears hit the door and shattered into ice shards, and the door had chunks of splinter fly off of it. Wolfe then turned to see another figure, but he didn't take the time to really look it over. He raised the door above his head and launched it vertically at the figure. As the door hit the figure both shattered into pieces and bits of ice and splinters of word went flying in every direction.

Wolfe didn't stop to appreciate his handiwork, but instead turned around and looked at the much larger building. He then started in it's direction, making sure to pay attention to any new figures that might pop up.

As Wolfe made his way towards the large resort building he made sure to glance behind him ever few second to make sure no more of the ice figures got the drop on him. To double his caution he made sure to stop at every bungalow and peer around the corner before he walked by it. There was no way he was going to fall for that crap two times. As he was approaching the halfway mark he glanced behind him again and saw it just as it was starting to appear. Another figure started to erupt from the ice, and then he looked back in front of him again to see yet another one erupt from there as well. It was becoming obvious to Wolfe that these things were well more organized then just some random figures of ice. So far they had employed formation tactics, sneak attacks, precision magic attacks and seemed to be able to form in areas around Wolfe giving him the idea that maybe this was not just powerful ice magic, but maybe even living magic.

As the thought crossed Wolfe's mind it really hit him in a way that caused him to want to know more, and gave him ideas about how he could maybe do something with the idea of living magic, but his thoughts were interrupted with the sudden sound of ice smashing on ice. Wolfe was beyond furious with himself. How the hell could he let his mind wander in the middle of a fight. As he pulled himself out of his own head he realized that he was sitting in the in middle of a fairly large cage of Ice. Shit.... This wasn't good, and he needed to get out of here quick. Wolfe went to move but then realized he just jerking body and couldn't move. His eyes opened wide as he looked down and notice his feet were frozen to the ground and it looked like he had been standing in a puddle and it froze. They must be able to use water spells too, and it freezes so quick because off the cold. This was bad.

Just as he thought this he saw out of the corner of his eye that a hammer appeared on both sides of him and it looked like they were about to slam together right on top of him and smash him between them. Wolfe realized his only option and just as they went to move in on him he raised his right hand in a fist and ducked at the last second as he brought his fist down on the ice right in between his feet. The two hammers ht each other just above his head and shattered into shards of ice flying in every direction, and the ice encasing his feet cracks and broke under the pressure of his hit. Wolfe could now move his feet, and intended to fix this little issue. He took a step and reached out and grabbed one of the ice bars with both hands, one near the top of the bar and the other about 3 or so feet down and he ripped away with all his might the bar gave way and broke right around where both his hand were placed. Wolfe then moved his right hand to grab a spot in the middle of the bar and let go with his other hand. He then turned to the weaker looking of the two figures and raised his right hand with the bar above and behind his head. He then threw his hand forward and with as much force as he could he hurled the bar like a spear at center mass of the figure. The bar hit and went right throw the figure, shattering it's center mass and causing to crack everywhere. As it went to raise it's right arm to cast another spell, it stopped half way through the motion and the cracks started to spread and then there was a *CRACK* sound as the figure shattered everywhere.

Wolfe then turned and with all his might he through his whole body at the spot where he had broken the bar from. With the bar missing the other two bars near it were enough to stop all the force of the impact and broke, and Wolfe flew out of the cage and hit the ground on his side. As he looked up he saw the other figure once again hold out it's hand like it was about to cast a spell. Wolfe had no intention on giving it an easy target again and kicked himself up and he pushed up with his hands. He was trying to get a good footing but his feet were slipping on the ice and he was trying to get a quick moving dash, but it was failing him. Finally he got a decent footing and was able to push off and as he started to dash forward he spun around to see a hammer swinging at him. He twisted his body as he ducked and reached out his right hand and grabbed the handle of the hammer and pulled it from the sky in mid swing. As he dashed at the figured he swung his right arm in a long side swing and hurled the hammer at the figure. Just as it hit it shattered and caused all of the center mass of th figure to crack and at this point Wolfe had closed the gap and swung both his fist back and brought them forward at the same time right into the center of the figure. The hit cause the back of the figure to shatter backwards into the air and then the body slowly crumbled and fell into a pile of ice.

Wolfe fell to his knees as he took a deep breath, the air fogging up each time from the cold, and he could finally feel the sweat dripping down his face and it felt like every drop was freezing right to his face. How could he have been so brain dead?

After a few minutes had gone by and Wolfe had enough time to beat himself up over the mistake he had made, and time to also gather himself and catch a breath he stood back up and continued on his way towards the large building. He wasn't sure what he would find there, but it seemed to stick out to him and it seemed like a good place to start. He almost seemed drawn to it, so there was no reason to fight the feeling. His whole life he had lived by following his gut, and so he had no reason now to stop doing it.

This time he made sure to focus and not let his mind wonder. When he got back he could take these theories and do something with them, but if he was stupid and died here, then he couldn't do shit. Wolfe made his way to the next bungalow and made sure to once again watch the corners and make sure he wasn't  hit with a surprise attack again. He was only one more bungalow away from the large building, but for some reason he couldn't shake it felt like a lot further.

Wolfe continued to cautiously make his way along the inner part of the frozen over beach were the bungalows were all placed along. After a short distance he was once again making his way around the bungalow and checking for traps or ambushes. As he rounded around the corner he found himself only standing a small walk from the building, and not a single person, or figure in sight. Wolfe slowly made his way over to the building making sure to continue keeping an eye out for anything that might attack him. As he reached the building he backed up against the wall and started to make his way across the wall heading towards the corner where he thought he saw a door he could try and enter into the building with.

Wolfe continued to slowly make his way along the wall towards the corner where the big double doors were that led into the big resort building. He tried looking into windows as he passed by them, but they were covered over with too much ice and just like the windows on the bungalows he had passed, but it had at least been worth a try. As he got closer to the door he got that feeling in the pit of his stomach and he knew something was up and it was about to happen.

As he reached the door he went to reach out to grab it and he got that feeling in his stomach again. There was no way he was going to ignore this strong of a feeling. He backed up and stood right near the hinges of the door and reached his hand out and wrapped his right hand on the handle of the right door. He then pulled it open so he was standing on the outside of the door and and he instantly knew he made a good call to follow his gut. Just as the door opened he saw a wall of ice spear fly through the open door and into the distance. This was his chance to attack so not taking too much time to pat himself on the back he made his move. He used the door and swing himself around it and to gain a little momentum and he took off into a dash . As he used his grip on the door to swing himself around and in through the door, he let go of the handle and came running into the room at full speed.

Wolfe used his quick battle hardened instincts to take a quick look around the room and placed 3 figures in the main room here. Wolfe intended on not leaving them another chance to attack, but they had other plans. Just as he was almost on them the middle on held it's hand at the floor and a huge puddle appeared right in Wolfe's path of movement. Wolfe decided not to let this mess up his plan of attack and instead jumped forward and put both his legs under him and used the pool of water as a slide. He hit it on his knees and started to slide towards the one on the right. Just as it went to raise it's hand Wolfe shifted his whole body right and held up his left hand. He caught his arm across the shoulder and used the momentum of his speed to swing his body around the back of the figure. Wolfe reached out his right leg and it found its target in the felt side of the center mass of the middle figure. The impart broke the figure in half and sent the top half flying into the figured to the furthest left and make the it crack a little. As his feet hit the ground he was behind the figure he has just used ah his own turnabout and reared his right hand back and slammed it right into the back of the figure. His arm went right through the figure and a few seconds later it crumbled into pieces of ice. Just as this happened the one that was still standing swung it's hand and then Wolfe saw a shadow appear over him and before he could react a huge plate of ice was falling at his head. Wolfe went to dash fro under it but it seemed the figures were learning when a huge hammer appeared in his way and swung sideways at him. Wolfe knew he could dodge both, but one was better then both. He jumped into the air and balled up to let the hammer hit him. As it did, it sent him flying over to the side, but he lucked out as the plate missed him. However, he instead hit the ground rolling and slammed into what looked like the reception desk and went right through the wood and ended up on the other side of the desk.

Wolfe groaned for a second but he shook it off and jumped to his feet. He reached out and grabbed the counter of the desk from 2 sides and yanked up and ripped it off. He then started to walk towards the figure with the desktop in from of him as a shield. The figure tried to shoot ice spears at Wolfe but they shattered on impact with the hard desktop. As Wolfe came upon the final figure he quickly raised the desktop and brought it down on top of the figure crushing it into tin pieces. Wolfe then tossed the top to the side and took a seat in one of the chairs and took some deep breathes to calm down. as he gripped his side a little. it wasn't bleeding, and it wasn't that hurt, but it was sore though.

Wolfe took a few minutes to sit in the chair and think about how he should go about the rest of this building. Right now he was in the main area and it was large and he had plenty of room to jump around and do what he needed in a fight, but once he went further in he was going to be walking down hallway and other corridors of about the same size. His ability to dodge attacks was going to be a little more then greatly reduced. However, as he thought about it, he realized it couldn't be helped and he would just half to deal with the issue when he got there.

Wolfe took one more deep breathe and stood up and as he did he was suddenly hit with a thought that never crossed his mind till now. He turned and looked down at the seat he had taken and it wasn't covered in ice, and he had to stop for a second and think about it. He didn't do anything to cause the chair to not be frozen. He stopped for a second then started to look around and as he did he noticed there was a lot less ice then he had realized till this moment. On that note the door had opened no issue, and now that he gave it some thought he realized that didn't seam right. Wolfe got up and walked over to the doors and just as he thought. There was no ice on them and they could open just fine. This didn't make sense though, as the ice was magical and there was no reason for it to be different here then anywhere else.

Wolfe needed to figure out why and he needed to know now. Wolfe started walking away from the main area towards the back area. A he came up to the area he noticed two hallways. He was about to start down the closest one, but then something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. Wolfe stopped and turned and looked at the entrance to the other hallway and it did look different. He turned and looked back down the hallway he was standing in front of and as he looked down he noticed frost on the walls and ice on the floor. Which was nothing like the main area, and it made sense. It was as if this area was the way it was supposed to be, and frozen over. Wolfe just turned and walked over to the other hallway and looked down it. This one was just like the main lobby area, and there was almost no snow and the walls weren't frozen over. This only confused Wolfe even more. However, this was his new first away to explore. He figured if he was to find answers, it would be somewhere around here.

As Wolfe started down the hallway he couldn't help but try to think of any reason why this place was different. However, he kept coming up with blanks. As he passed each he would slowly open the door and look around. This baffled Wolfe to no end, as each of these rooms were still frozen solid. It almost seemed like the more he found out the less sense it made, and honestly that is not how it normally worked. Wolfe was just about to lose his composure when he hit the jackpot. When Wolfe opened the door he found a room that was completely void of any ice, and even the air wasn't cold here. As he looked over the room it was obvious that this room was recently used, and more so then that, it was used on a regular basis by someone.

Wolfe walked in and started to look around for anything that might help him decided who lived here, or more importantly, was he a friend or a foe. However, as he looked he couldn't find much, and to be honest , it reminded him.... of... well.... him. There was nothing of importance, no names, no pictures, or anything tying him to anyone or anything from the outside world. There were a few photos of nature and some animals, but that was the closest thing to a connection outside this room. From what he could tell this room wasn't that well put together. It seemed like it was just thrown together, and whoever this was moved around a lot. As he looked around he didn't see anything else till he looked in a small box near the bed and saw a bunch of little animals cared out of wood. As Wolfe started looking through it he actually found one of a wolf. He couldn't help himself, and he put in his pocket. Wolfe took one more look as he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Whoever was staying here might still be on the island, and Wolfe intended to see if he could find them.

'Monster Dice' :

Wolfe stood outside of the room, the door closed behind hi, for a few moments before he looked around to decide what to do. However, Wolfe already knew the rest of this building was useless, as whatever he fund wasn't going to be half as important, or as interesting as the room behind him. He looked at a few of the surrounding doors and it was obvious that one of two things was happening. Either there was just one person, or if there was more then one they were sharing this room, because the room was obviously chosen at random, as it was in the middle of the hallway, and all the other doors still had the frosted over look to them. There was no way that if there was two or more people that they would split up with how dangerous this place was.

Wolfe then turned and headed back down the hallway towards the main lobby area and right before he go to the end of the hallway he stopped and moved so his back was against the wall. He then slid towards the end of the hallway wall and stopped. He had a feeling a figure or 2 was waiting for him. So he started to dash taking about 2 steps but then threw himself back to the wall and just as he did an ice spear shot right where he would have been at that second. Wolfe then too off again but at the wall opposite of him in the lobby. As he reached the wall he jumped and turned his body so he could use the wall to kick off of. As he was jumping he took a look around and saw the single weaker looking figure and as he landed he spun his body so he was right next to one of the many table on that side of the room and he picked up a chair. He then swung it from his side and threw it at the figure. As the this happened Wolfe made a dash behind it, and Wolfe had caught it spot on. As the chair was flying in mid air and figure created a hammer to hit it in mid air to defend itself. As the two object collided they shattered and from the debris Wolfe pushed through them in his dash and before the figure could cast another spell Wolfe was already there and hit the figure in the face and caused it to shatter.

'Monster Dice' :

After taking care of the single figure in the main lobby area, Wolfe was ready to start searching the rest of the island. As he stood in front of a pile of ice he decided that he needed to head straight into the center of the island. Is was most likely the most dangerous place on the island, but the best place to try and figure out what was going on. Wolfe started off towards the doors and didn't bother looking back, as he knew he had found anything worth finding here. A few moments later he reached the door and took a second to stop, but he didn't have that gut feeling that told him to worry, so he threw open the door and much to his surprise there was no figures waiting for him. Though surprised he wasn't going to complain as these sneak attacks were getting a little old. Another good point to heading further in was the open areas, and he would know what he was against.

Wolfe walked out of the building and took a second and took a deep breath for launching himself into the air. As he reached a good height he started darting towards the middle of the island. As he passed over the land he saw a few figures below him, but only a few. He wondered if there was a limited amount or if the magic continued to just make them. Either way he still was going to have to plow through at least a few more, and he knew this.

Wolfe saw he was coming up near the center so he found a place where there were no figures and bolted down to the ground. No sooner had he touched the ground in human form did he see as 4 figures of Ice erupted from the ground. He just started to shake his head until he noticed one to his left. So far he had just seen a bunch of the 2 types he had seen so far and the other 3 looked like more of them, but this one was different. It looked more defined then the others. Wolfe remembered the flier saying there had been accounts of up to B rank powers being used, and he realized this could be one of them. This meant it was his highest priority and at that Wolfe turned left to face it and took off in a full speed dash at it. Just as he reached it, it raised it's arm to cast a spell, and for the first time he heard a voice as it said a woman's name. Wolfe decided this wasn't as important as taking the figure out and he swung in with a solid hit.

As Wolfe's fist it the figure in the chest Wolfe was about to smirk till he realized the figure was still standing. Wolfe was shocked to say the least, as all the other's had gone down in one solid hit. He saw it was cracked but that was all. All the sudden a wall of ice appeared and forced Wolfe back a few steps and then the wall shattered outward making Wolfe use his hands to shield himself from the ice, and then he felt it as a ball of water hit him in the stomach and sent him flying backwards.

Wolfe hit the ground about 10 feet back and rolled a few more feet before he stopped himself and got a chance to focus on what just happened. Wolfe saw as the other 3 figures shot balls of water and spears of ice at him. Wolfe went to move but jerked as the pain from the shot to his stomach washed over him. This was bad. This was really bad. He was about to get hit with a wall of attacks when he saw it. There was a flash of light and just before the attacks hit him he saw a small explosion and lightning fly every direction. As the chaos cleared he saw Loki standing less then a foot in front of him. The little elemental had taken his form out of sheer will will and took the shot for him. Wolfe looked at the small elemental confused as it spoke to him "Stupid human... i am going to be the one to kill you, not these stupid ice sculptures... so you take this and get the fuck up and do what you came here to do, and stop fucking around.... stupid mortals...." There was a flash as Loki shot an arc of lightning at Wolfe. Wolfe felt more power surge through him and even some of his wound heal. Would smirked and nodded at the little elemental as he started to stand up.

Loki then turned back into a tiny spear sticking out of the ice. Wolfe reached forward and grabbed it and ripped it from the ice. He then started to focus his energy throughout his body with cause arcs of lightning to erupt from his body and start shooting everywhere. Wolfe was now empowered and it was time to bring this to a close. He placed Loki back into his place holstered in his back and dashed at the closest figure and just held out his arm as he ran by. The power of the hit was enough to shatter the figure and he turned and darted back at the More powerful one. Wolfe saw as it shot a wave of ice and water crossing over each other. Wolfe jumped at the last second as he twisted his body and went right between the 2 waves. As he landed he twisted his body and darted to the right and slammed his fist into one of the weaker ones as it shot and ice spear Wolfe. It shattered upon impact and Wolfe just stood up and started to walk at the more powerful one.

He saw a hammer appear out of the corner of his eye as he walked, and without even looking Wolfe just held out his hand a called forth a a bolt of lightning from the sky. The bolt hit the hammer and caused it explode into shards of ice. Wolfe never took his eye off the figure in front of him. Just as the figure went to raise its hand Wolfe made another dash. Just as the figure started to form ice into it's palm to shoot at Wolfe he had gotten close enough that he reached out and grabbed the arm of the figure an twisted as he ripped and the arm broke right off and the spell dissipated. Wolfe then flipped the arm he was holding and slung out his arm and shoved the ice hand right into the figure's face cause both to crack and slightly shatter. Wolfe then slung his left first into the figures face and finished the job as the figure exploded into tiny shards.

Wolfe then turned to look at the final figure and decided this was just about over. Wolfe turned into a bolt and arced right over to the figure as it tried to raise it's hand, but Wolfe was too quick in this form and before it had barely moved it's arm he was there and uppercuted the figure and it shattered everywhere. Wolfe just looked around at the piles of Ice and bolted along the ground heading even closer to the center of the island.

'Monster Dice' :

Wolfe was tired of fighting wave after wave of these damn figures but he knew he was going to have to do it to get to the center of this damn island. Wolfe turned into bolt form and once gain went on his way as he ventured further into the island. As he bolted along he could see in the distance the forest near the base of a mountain and how it was covered it white, but it still looked like the trees were standing, which once again proved his point like the plant at the bungalow, that the ice spread was too quick and magic was involved. He turned his attention once again to the path ahead and there is was.... A lone figure made of ice, and where there was one, more were soon to follow. However, Wolfe knew if he passed it by, it would just appear even further ahead. He was putting his hope in the idea that maybe there were a finite amount of figures.

Wolfe bolted right up tot he figure and just as he erupted from the ground so did 3 more figures, and they were right next to him. They were getting smarter, and their traps were getting better. Wolfe took in the group and realized there were 2 of the ones he had fought before that had taken more then one hit. He needed to make this one quick or he would regret it. They hadn't given him much room to work with as each of them was not more then about 3 or so feet from him and from each other. They intended not to give him any room to move around so he couldn't dodge anything.

Little did they now with Wolfe jacked up like this, he couldn't ask for more. As all 4 of them raised their hands to shoot Wolfe he smirked as he focused energy into the center of his body and just as they were about to shoot their magic Wolfe unleashed his in a blast around his body. They all stopped frozen in place. Normally when this spell hit people it sent them flying back but since the ice was rooted down they didn't move. Wolfe the swung his right hand forward and hit the one to the left in front of him, he then swung with his right hand back to backhand the other one to the right. He knew they would be stunned for only a very short time so he needed to make it worth it. As he brought his right arm back he then swung his left hand out and struck the front one to the right causing it to shatter, and he then brought his left arm back and swung his body into it as he swung his right hand up into and uppercut that landed right unto the chin of the one on the left. As he did the head exploded and the rest of the body started to crumble. This meant the two nastier ones were out for the count, and at that exact moment the other two behind him started to move their arms again. Wolfe ducted down and threw both his arms back and landed both his arms into the figures and heard them crack, but he knew that wasn't enough. He push off and jumped into the air just as both of them shot spears out of their hands. The spears flew right under him and crossed over each other. If they had hit, they would of done a lot of damage, but now was not the time to think about that. Wolfe twisted his body to do a back flip and just as he was about to come down he kicked both feet out and as he flipped they both came crashing down on the head of the two figures. He felt as each of them gave way to impact and they crumbled to the ground. Wolfe then continued to fall to the ground and caught himself with his hands as he fell to all fours.

He took a second to make sure there wasn't anything else around before he lifted himself up and got ready to continue on.

Wolfe was about to move again he saw something out of the corner of his eye and he turned around to see 4 more figured erupt from the ice right there in front of him. As he was getting ready to attack he saw more movement and turned his head around to see 2 more now behind him. This was bad, but he had one thing going for him. He took off without hesitation and headed right at the pack of 4. Right as they went to launch magic at him, Wolfe turned into a bolt and the magic shots passed right over him and missed. He darted right to the group and reformed. Wolfe kicked out his right leg and hit the figure in mid mass and it exploded. As he did he shifted his body and swung his left arm out and hit the one to his left and once again it shattered under the power of his hit. He then tuned into a bolt and shot up and into the air. He arced over so he was now over the 2 that erupted up behind him and reformed just above them. As he fell he felt a spear catch him in the side and but paid it no mind as he came crashing down with a knee right on top of one of the figures and it crumbled under him.

As he hit the ground he did a tumble roll and came out of the roll in a full run heading away from the figures. As he ran he turned his course so he could see them. and them did a pivot move and started dashing right back at the 3 remaining figures. With his recent empowerment he had a lot of extra speed, so he was lucky that most of their attacks were slow. Wolfe dashed right at the closest one that was the last one left of the 2 behind him. As he was running the figure shot a blast of water at him, and Wolfe jumped to the right and tucked into a roll so he could dodge. As he rolled he came out in another dash and was almost upon the figure when he had to do a abrupt stop and jumped high into the air as 2 more spears barely missed him. As he was in the air he turned into a bolt and arced right behind the closest one and swung in with his whole arm and planted a solid hit with his whole right forearm hitting it in the back. The figured cracked and then crumbled to the ground and shattered into pieces.

Wolfe then turned his attention to the last two as he he darted at them. He would zig tot he left then instantly turn into the bolt and shoot to the right, and reform still running. As soon as the figures shot more magic at him he would zag to the right and then once again instantly turn into a bolt again and shoot to the left and reform again. He was making himself almost impossible to hit as he shifted in and out of bolt form. As he did this he got closer and closer to the figures till he was finally upon one and swung his left fist in for a solid hit to the chest of the figure and swung in with his right to the face, and figure crumbled to the ground in little shards of ice. He then turned to the look at the final figured as he shifted into bolt form and darted up and down and then left and then right and with each dart he got a little closer. He did this till he bolted right above the figure and he reformed, the figure shifted to look up but it was too late as Wolfe shifted his body and placed a right leg right to the side of the head of the figure and broke it clear off. The head and body both fell to the ground and shattered .

Wolfe took a second to look around to see if another army of figures intended to show up, but after about 5 minutes with no movement, he guessed the waves were over and he took bolt form and once again went on his way darting along the ground. He didn't have that much further to go before he was at the center of the island.\

Wolfe was darting along and was almost where he wanted to be when he saw a bolt of water magic hit near him on the ground. The shot had missed but it had been pretty close though. As he turned his attention in that direction he saw a figure not that far away trying to shoot yet another blast at hit. Then another blast landed near him from the other side and he switched his attention to his other side and saw another one. There was no way he was going to get out of this one. So he decided not to try. He suddenly stopped and changed his direction to his right and towards one of the figures. He reformed a good ways away from it as he ability to turn into a bolt was starting to leave him. Normally he was used to using it in spurts but he had been abusing the power none stop since he had got here. He took off straight at the figure making sure to zig and zag as he ducked through magic being shot at him from the front and behind him. As he closed in on the figured he saw another erupt form the ground to his side and take aim for him. However, he had not intention of getting hit by any more spells and he ducked at the last second and landed on all fours as 2 spells flew right past him. He then threw himself forward so he was sliding on the ice and at the last second before he was about to slide into the figure he pushed up with all his might and as he launched himself in the air he twisted his body and brought his right leg up and caught the figure with a foot to the chin. As he did he kicked his left leg out and hit it in the chest and caused the figure to shatter from the impact.

As he twisted his body more he landed on the ground in a crotch position and to the most recent figure of the 3 and the other one was actually moving across the ice to get closer. Wolfe dashed at the figure and just as it shot a ice spear at Wolfe, he threw out his hand and focused his power and called down a bolt just about a foot from him. The two spells met and canceled it other out in a loud *crash* of light and flying ice shards. By the time the figure was ready to try again Wolfe had closed the gap an placed a well aimed fist to it's chest and shattered the figure like it was nothing. Wolfe then turned and started towards the other figure that was left. He made no mad dash or anything, as he just instead started at a nice brisk pace. He wanted to be able to read all the figure's attacks. Honestly he was out of tricks for now and he was just going for straight bad ass right now. As he made his way he ducked one shot, side stepped another. it didn't take long before he was right on the figure and just pulled a hay-maker on it, and shattered it into a million little ice shards.
