Job Description: Some strange things have happened in the past few weeks. People have dissappeared and around the town there are strange fields of magic appearing that no one can get close to without hurting themselves. People have also reported broken things fixing themselves out of nowhere! None of our town's mages understand what could be causing this. This is why we require the work of more skilled wizards! Please answer our call and investigate this case!

Job Info: The magic discrepancies are caused by time magic. Upon investigating, you will find out that someone is practicing time magic in the town. Of course, upon reporting this, the town's officials will want to know who the practicioner is and will refuse payment until you have found the culprit. Now it is your job to investigate and find out which of the town's mages is responsible for this. Upon wanting to announce the culprit however, he will be found dead. You can either choose to announce the culprit anyway stating he or she probably committed suicide out of spite, taking the reward and leaving, or you can choose to go on the second part of this mission.

Enemies (Prime Suspects):
Tristan, The Illusion Mage (Normal): A cunning young man in his mid-twenties. Many in the town mistrust him as he only recently moved here to have some peace and quiet. Older townsfolk believe him to be the culprit. He will not to talk to simpletons, and even then only unless if engage on an intellectual level with him, explaining how you dislike country folk as well. Should that be the case, he will open up and talk about himself and his views on the other mages. Otherwise he will cast an illusion on you and leave the vicinity. If you manage to disspell his illusion, he will talk more than without having cast it.

Isolde, The Nature Mage (Strong): An easy-going middle-aged woman. She has incredible knowledge on magic, despite not considered one of the town's strongest. She knows healing magic and nature magic. Some of the town's officials suspect her because they are aware of how much she is actually capable of. Isolde will talk to most anyone, but will not give a lot of useful information. She will gossip and goof around, inviting you to a drink into her home and some dinner. She will accept the challenge of a fight on the premise of answering any questions you have seriously. She is a gifted caster and ranged mage and will win against casters and ranged mages of B Rank and below. Should you physically engage her however, she will lose the fight. Upon losing, she will tell answer some of your questions Should she win, she will respect you for putting up a fight. This will put her in a good mood. She will now answer any questions you should have.

Galahad, The Requip Mage (Boss): One of the town's strongest mages. Many believe him to be the only capable of wielding high-level magic.He is around forty years old and can tell you a lot of things about the other mages. He will not fight back and answer any questions unless provoked, insulted or talked down upon. Galahad is incredibly strong and will win against any B or lower rank mages that decide to move into close combat with him. Should you keep your range and deal up to A Rank damage to him, he will lose. Upon having lost in a fight, Galahad will be even more talkative than without a fight.
