Lexa's D to C ranked Exam

Objective: "Hello Lexa, I have heard about recent jobs you have taken and would like to put your skills to the test. With Kakuma Blackflower's Acknowledgment, I am giving you a test for you to take. If you are successful, you will be heavily rewarded. I have spent a few days preparing this test for you, it will test your detection skills. Killing the target will not be allowed, and if there is evidence of him being killed, you will be punished heavily.

This is sort of like a game of Hide and Seek. The target will remain in one place within the borders of Black Rose, and you have to find him and bring him to the Guild Hall. Once you have done that, the mission is complete. The target will come to me to report whether you have been successful or have failed. I am giving you a three day time limit (IC). The target will be wearing a black hoodie with Blue Headphones, completely standing out from the rest of the Black Rose Crowd. I wish you the best, good luck Lexa.

Summary: There is a target within the borders of Black Rose that you need to hunt down and bring to the Guild Hall. Ask around to see if people know of someone with the description given to you. Acknowledge the fact that some people know of your exam, and may lie to you. You have three days (In Character) to bring the target into the guild hall. Refrain from killing him, he will not show resistance once you caught him.

Word Count: At least 1000 words. This can be done with 200 words minimum per post, or done with just one post alone.

Assistance: You may bring one person from Black Rose along with you. Their word count will not add onto yours however, and they can't be any higher than C rank. This is optional, not required.

The guild hall, Lexa seemed to be able to do the trick, using magic in her body to control the spell, yet be able to threat him at the same time. Fen went along with her quietly, but refused to take off his hood or take the headphones off of his head. For a C ranking mage, she had some decent detection skills, he couldn't wait to get his "revenge" for this. It was not like he was actually helpless against this situation, but the fact that he looked helpless made Fen want to punch Elyx. That was a mental note for him to keep. But for now, he was willing to act as a helpless hostage, then turn the tables when they were at the guild hall. This was to make sure that she did not get away while he went to get Elyx. You're not too bad, being able to find something right under you nose. Fen said to Lexa with a grin on his face before taking the hood off slowly, making sure to not let Lexa become too alarmed. His face then revealed a teenage mage to be inside of it. Appearances meant nothing though, this was an experienced B ranking mage. The exam is done, follow me, and don't try anything stupid. Elyx has been waiting you know. With that, the mage began to walk calmly, not caring if Lexa would make an attack or not. Elyx was by his side on this one, he knew he was safe.

Meanwhile, inside of the Guild Hall, Elyx was standing right in the middle. He reserved the Guild Halls for the three day time limit he gave to Lexa, so they were alone. Ignite was leaning her back on the job request board, her face being neutral and uncaring for the event. Elyx was the one who wanted to give the examination, so his pets actions did not matter. Fen walked to the Violinist, not looking back, hoping that the student would be following him. How was it Fen? The Violinist asked as he tilted his head the the side. A simple nod was the answer that Fen gave to Elyx, and the Violinist then had a smile glued onto his face. The examination was successful. And so I assume that Lexa is here as well. Good thing too... I hate letters.

Elyx turned his head around to the sound of footsteps coming. His grin remained in place as he saw his trainee walking over to him. She seemed like a teenager as well, sharing the same disguise quality of seeming like a normal human, but only to prove her worth as a mage. The boy noticed that she seemed tense, that was normal, she was supposed to bring a hostage that all of a sudden walked away from her without even the smallest amount of fear. The Violinist just crossed his arms and looked at Lexa, bringing attention to her tension. You can put the claws away, if I wanted you dead, you wouldn't even be standing by now. The Violinist reassured her before he then noticed her next movement. The next thing that Lexa did was hold up a paper with both hangs, and shortly after, a sarcastic comment came after. She acted tough, even with her current strength, with enough hard work, she would make a fine Bounty Hunter. Whether or not she is one to kill people rather than arresting them is up to her, and that was not something he should try to change in his favor. So you are Lexa, I've heard of your activity in Black Rose. Elyx said before looking over to Ignite, who nodded her head once before putting her palm towards Lexa. The paper then burned in flames all of a sudden, leaving ashes to fall onto the ground.

My name is Elyx Reiaki, the Guild Ace of Petals for this very guild. Elyx started before he placed his hands into his pockets. There was no real reason to be formal, and if that made her doubt him and his position, then so be it. At this point, he only brought her nothing but good news, if she didn't want to believe it, then that was up to her. I've heard of your previous missions, all of them being a success, and they are being shot down in record time. I'd be a liar if I said I were not impressed. Answer me a question though, why are you in Black Rose? What do you hope to accomplish?

Lexa finally calmed herself down as well. About time, if she started something now, that would be an impossible second exam. The boy thought to himself as he began to listen to the girl. The story was about a girl who lost her parents to a wolf, and Elyx had parents who died right after his birth, they were not too different. Instead of feeling phased by her story, he simply nodded his head and heard the rest of her story out. She believes that she is not worthy of her life. That is quite a shame, I see lots of potential in someone with great skills and work ethics. Well, I'll let her make that choice if she wants to obtain greatness or not, it's just my job to help. The Violinist thought once again before he then listened. Once she was done with her violent phase, she went into a form that showed a happier side of her. That smile of hers did not wipe out the first impression she gave to him, and that was why first impressions were always the best. Lexa did not really provide the best of them, but at least she was trying to make peace after that hostile entrance. It's not like Elyx could blame her for it either, so just this once, he was willing to let her go on it. She said she wanted to learn new spells and have plenty of fun. Finally, Elyx was willing to give a final verdict.

Greatness comes with hard work. Your skills and work ethics have been proven to be spectacular. Elyx said as he then locked his light brown eyes into Lexa's his mouth being neutral. He was speaking with power behind his mouth, it was the first time he was allowed to do such a thing, so he made sure to do it will. With the power invested in me by Black Rose, you have been promoted a rank higher in the guild. You have proven your worth to the guild that you can handle it, and I only expect you to go further. Unless there is something you want, you are hereby, dismissed.
