Stop the wedding!! We got crashers!!

Wolfe had taken a little time off after his last job, but he hadn't been bored at all. He had been busy read books and studying again, but it was time for him to get back out there and get a few jobs done. He need the jewels and the fresh air was also not a bad idea. He needed to get his head out of the ground and get some more experience as well. He intended to try and get a bit more sway in the guild and to do so he needed to get more jobs done ad gain some ranks. This would also allow him to explore pore powerful magics and he needed that to say the least.

The next day after he awoke he checked the guild's job board for a job to get him away and give him something to do. As he looked over the board he saw many interesting jobs, but the truth was he was looking for something to really make it stand out. He was looking to let go of a little steam. Despite the fact that he hated hsi father, he couldn't shake the blood lust passed down to him from his father. He needed a good fight from time to time of it would start to claw at him from the inside.

It didn't take long before he found what he was looking for. A job with good pay and a good fight it seemed. An ex boyfriend that was looking to mess up a wedding. It seemed that the only was to stop it was to beat down the ex. This seemed like a job for Wolfe.

Wolfe had taken the job to help with the wedding issue. The ex was going to wreck the wedding the whoever took the job was to stop the ex, and it looked like the ex wanted a fight, so Wolfe was all about this job. After he accepted the job he was to receive an invitation to the wedding. The next day he got the invitation and decided to go out and grab a suit to wear to the wedding Later that day he headed out towards Rose Garden to get the job started.

The trip wasnt that bad for him as he was now used to traveling long distances in lightning form. This made getting places very quick and very easy, and also cost effective. It also helped with the issue of having too much energy stored up as the long trips used up a good amount of power. Luckily for him it didn't take much to regenerate enough power fo be at 100%, which he felt he might need for the upcoming job. Wolfe arrived in Rode Garden in the middle of the night the next day. Since it was late, or really early depending on how you looked at it, he didn't have a lot of time to really look around. Early the next morning he got up with the bride and groom and went over the details of expected issues for the ex-boyfriend. It seemed the ex would attack the groom every chance he got and was messing with their new home as well.

As Wolfe sat and listened the bride explain about the ex Wolfe knew this guy was going to be a pain and there was no way he was going to give up without a fight. Wolfe wasn't going to make a point about it, but he was actually looking forward to that part. The whole time is was the part he had most been looking forward to.

When Wolfe finally got a chance to look around the next day while he watched the wedding getting set up he couldn't help be taken away by it's beauty. He had only been here about 2 days now, but it was still breath taking and he could see how anyone would want to get married here. He had been here from the start as they started setting up. He knew his job, and he was pretty sure ex-boyfriend might try and ruin the place to stop the wedding. However, as time passed Wolfe started to get that gut feeling that he wasn't going to show up till the actual ceremony. Wolfe knew he had been attacking the groom and their new house, but the groom had said he didn't want a body guard and that meant Wolfe's hand were tied. As the days crept by and things started to get closer to finish Wolfe decided that it would make the most sense for the ex to mess things up during the wedding itself. However, he was asked to watch over this till it was up and ready to go.

To be truthful it was all very beautiful when he actually took the time to look at the gardens themselves. It was very obvious why they called it the Rose Garden, as there was beautiful rose everywhere. The whole town was like that and it made sense why someone would pick a place like this to hold a wedding. It circumstances were different and the bride and groom didn't have the ex to worry about, it would be a perfect place to spend some time together before the wedding. However, as things were, they needed to keep a low profile to make sure not to give the ex a target. As Wolfe watched the wedding decorations and layout being set up he tool notice how what was already a beautiful place was being made even more of a eye opening and memory making place or beauty.

Wolfe waited out the rest of the day, leaving only to make quick walk overs of the whole wedding area and making sure everything was right and checking for anyone that might be hiding around the area. That night Wolfe met with the bride and groom and they had heard rumors that the ex had a crew and was fully intending to mess the wedding up tomorrow during the event. Wolfe's instincts were spot on and that at least meant he had a pretty good idea of when it would happen, and how it would happen as well. If they intended to do it that way, then that meant they had no intention on messing with stuff at the wedding and that meant Wolfe could focus on the people.

The next day was the big day, and the day when it was all going to come together. Wolfe once again really didn't sleep that night, so he was up early. He woke up and got dressed and made sure to put on his limiter ring to help control his energy levels. He made sure to take a quick run over of the area and make sure everything was as they left it and make sure no one was hanging out or hiding already. Wolfe already knew he wasn't going to find anyone here, but he still needed to look anyways. It didn't take him long to do his rounds of the area, and he was back to the hotel in no time. Shortly after he reached the hotel he was greeted by the bride. the discussed the details about everything, and after going over everything they decided that Wolfe should trail the groom all day till he event. If the ex was going to go after anyone, it would be him.

Wolfe and the groom went back to the grooms room and spent the next few hours just getting his stuff ready for later that day. They got the tux ready and laid everything out to go with it like the shoes and tie and all that. They also got stuff ready for the groomsmen as well. They also went over all the details of the wedding from the groom's side. They even talked a little about how the groom met the bride and how things blossomed from there. The conversation was very enlightening, and a lot more of the bigger picture made sense now.

Through that conversation he saw how things went south as he explained to Wolfe about the ex and how he fit into the picture. After hearing the story Wolfe understood now why the ex was doing what he was doing. It seemed that the bride had been with the ex for some time and when the bride and groom met it had been love at first site. Anyone could see where the the story went from there and in the end the ex was left alone and hurt. However, like most people and just move on he devoted his life to ruining the bride's life. Wolfe night have understood the ex's reason a little more now, but true love was something that moved Wolfe. It was something that most people never found. If you were lucky enough to find it, you should go for it, and in truth that was easy for him to say. If he had been in the shoes of the ex, he wasn't sure he would be able to say the same thing in the same fashion.

After their little talk Wolfe and the groom decided that they needed to leave to preform an errand before the wedding. Wolfe and the groom decided that they would go ahead and make the run now just in case something happened there would be time to get back. Wolfe got a feeling about this little trip and knew that something was going to happen. Wolfe and the groom tried to head out the back way of the hotel to try and avoid any open areas.

Wolfe's plan to sneak out the back of the area this didn't work out as well as he had hoped. Within a couple of minutes Wolfe picked up on a small group trailing himself and the groom. Wolfe, making sure to keep the groom out of harm, turned down one of the alleyways and had the groom hide a few feet a way behind a dumpster. It only took a few seconds before the three guys trailing them came into the alley were Wolfe was waiting with a smirk on his face. The three guys knew they were in trouble instantly as they went to start throwing spells at Wolfe. Wolfe just took off running at wall, and dodged between their spells as he dashed towards the wall just in front of the three guys. As all three of the guys sent spells at Wolfe, and from what he could tell they seemed to cover the three basic elements of fire, water, and air. Luckily Wolfe had the upper hand and easily dodged the three attacks as he leapt at the wall and as he was about to hit it in mid air he spun his body a little put his foot out to catch the wall and pushed himself off the wall and right at the middle guy. Just as he was about to the guy Wolfe reached back with his left hand he started to send waves of electricity thought his body to increase his speed and strength. As he did little arcs of electricity started to erupt from Wolfe's body. Wolfe then brought his hand forward to hit he guy in his face. The force of the hit sent to straight to the ground with a thud.

Wolfe then with out missing a beat turned to the guy on the right and reached out and grabbed his face. Just as he did, the guy he turned his back to held out his hand and sent a wave of air that lashed Wolfe's back. Wolfe gritted his teeth as he took his free hand and punched the guy he was holding in the gut and then Wolfe took off into a dash and just before he was about to run into the wall he threw out his hand and slammed the guy's head he was holding into the wall. As he release the man's head from his grasp the body went limp and fell to the floor. Wolfe turned to the third guy and it was instantly clear to the guy that he was going to pay dearly for the shot in the back. The third guy went to turn and run and Wolfe dashed forward and got to him before he could take more then two steps. Wolfe brought his arm up and brought his fist down on the back of the guy's knee and ran it into the ground. This instantly stopped the man from running. Wolfe then punched him in the back right where his kidney was and then again on the other side of his back once again where the other kidney was. As the man yelled out in pain Wolfe leaned forward and whispered something into his ear before he kicked the man over. Wolfe called out to the groom and they left from the alleyway and continued on their errand.

The two of them continued on their errand which it turned out was to get new ties for each of the groomsmen. It seemed that the bride had made a last minute decision to change the color of their ties because of a small change in the bride's outfit. This wasn't a big deal, but Wolfe wondered why the bride didn't just send someone else to get it knowing that the groom would obviously be attacked. However, at the same time it seemed this really wasn't a bad time to do it actually. If there was going to be a confrontation, it was better left to early in the day and away from the wedding itself. Though this was a good plan, it made Wolfe worry a little about the groom. It was obvious that the bride loved him and Wolfe could see this, but she was so focused on making sure this wedding was perfect she was will to use him as bait. From what Wolfe could tell from the look in the groom's eye, he wasn't the only one who realized it and it actually made Wolfe grin a little.

The two of them made the rest of the trip to the store without incident, and it only took a few minutes to get the job done and be back on their way back. On their way back, Wolfe got the feeling like there was something not right and couldn't help but think that something seemed out of place. Wolfe had his guard up but made sure not to alert the groom, because he didn't want him to react and alert whoever was trailing them.

It was only a few minutes down the road when Wolfe felt the shift in the air and he knew it was coming. He reached his hand behind the groom and focused energy into his palm and crated a ball of lightning in his hand. Just as he did this a bolt of fire hit the ball and they two powers canceled each other out in a tiny explosion. The groom turned around in a state of shock and looked around. Wolfe did the same and he noticed three shadows from a nearby alleyway. Wolfe was about to say something about coming back for round two, but then noticed as they stepped out that it was another group all together. It seemed that the ex had a bunch of henchmen and intended to send them in waves.

Wolfe moved the groom behind him as he stood between the 3 men and the groom. Wolfe decided he wasn't going to play around this time and he dashed right at the men. They seemed a little shocked at Wolfe's more direct approach and it took them a second to respond, but by then Wolfe had closed most of the gap between himself and the men. The guy to the right seemed to react pretty quickly as he jumped back and put his hands in front of him and created a bubble of water in the palm of his hand and Wolfe noticed out of the corner of his eye as the bubble started to create whips of water from it. Wolfe ducked tot he side and did a barrel roll to the side and managed to evade most of the whips, but one did catch his shoulder. Wolfe felt as the whip cut through his clothes and into his shoulder a little. Wolfe knew of the 3 of them this guy was going to be the worst to deal with, so he needed to go down first. Wolfe dashed again at the water user and in the process he shoved his way past the other two guys, knocking both of them away and down . Wolfe saw at the water user was about to create a new set of whips but Wolfe had no intention of letting that happen. Just as the whips went to erupt from the sphere of water, Wolfe shoved his hand into it and released a huge amount of electricity. The waves of electricity shot through the water and right into the guy and he started to convulse as his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Then after only a few seconds the man fell backwards and was out for he count. The other two guys watched with huge eyes as their friend hit the ground. The first one went to shot some kind of magic out of his hand but before he could Wolfe grabbed him by his face and started to drag him across the ground as he started to spin, After a few seconds he had gotten a good enough spin that he flung him into a wall face first. As the man hit the wall it knocked him out and he just fell over into a lump. The third guy went to wave his hands and say something like he was about to give up, but Wolfe was pissed about his shoulder and just jabbed the guy with a good shot right in the mouth as he was about to speak. The man's head jerked back and before he even had time to react, Wolfe gave him a good gut shot with caused him to double over and fall to the ground.

Wolfe walked over and checked on the groom to make sure he was fine. As soon as he knew the groom was fine they began their trip back to the hotel and on to the wedding.

The two of the returned back the hotel not long after the fight and got everything back on track. Wolfe took a few minutes to himself to go back to his room and patch up his shoulder a little. He figured he didn't have a lot of time to really get it fixed up as the wedding was in a few hours and he knew that the ex was already around somewhere and waiting. Wolfe just put a quick bandage on it and taped it down. Wolfe then went got got dressed in his rented outfit. As he finished up he could help but take a look at himself in the mirror. Even though this was not his normal clothing style he didn't think he looked that bad. After a few more second he peeled himself away from the mirror and out into the hallway. He wasn't but a few steps down the hallway when he heard the bride from behind him, He turned to see her with a frightened look on her face. They talked for a few minuted before he placed his hand on her shoulder and promised he it would be ok. It seemed she had been given confirmation that the ex was here and making his way around the wedding grounds. It seemed he took out two guards near the back entrance of the wedding and disappeared somewhere in the gardens shortly after and no one could find him. He was making himself sparse while he waited for his shot to mess up the wedding.

Wolfe knew he needed to make sure he didn't get to far into the wedding, however, he knew there was nothing he could o now. At this point his job was damage control and making sure he didn't actually mess up the wedding. He wasn't going to show himself till he was ready to mess up the most important part of the wedding. So far based on what the bride had told Wolfe, and the henchman he had already beaten up this guy had a bit of a flare for the dramatic in him and that meant Wolfe had a really good idea when he was going to show himself.

Wolfe made his way down stairs and into the lobby. While he was there he noticed a group of three guys sitting in chairs near the side of the entrance. They seemed a little out of place sitting there and watching every exit and entrance like they were looking for someone. Wolfe knew it was just another group working for the ex. Wolfe decided to just clean this up before it could get out of hand. He made his way around the corner near them and made his way right behind the guy on the left and placed his hand on the guy' shoulder. Before the guy could even respond or turn his head to look at him, Wolfe focused energy into the palm of the hand on the guy's shoulder and started shoving electricity into him. The guys body began to shake and then convulse a little before he let our a weak whimper and went limp. At that exact moment the other two turned around in their seats to see their friend go limp and a smirk on Wolfe's face. The two of them went to get up but Wolfe wasn't about to let this fall back on him. He focused his energy into his center and threw his arms out, as he did a wave of energy shot out from him and hit the two guys and sent them and their chairs flying through the air. As soon as this happened Wolfe turned and spun around the corner and was out the door they had been near.

As the commotion began to stir the two guys realized that everyone was looking at them and security was going to be here shortly and they looked guilty. They darted out of the door, but Wolfe was already there and waiting. As the two dashed out the door, Wolfe was standing right around the corner of the door and as they ran out Wolfe reached out his hand and caught the closest one by the face. Wolfe, before the guy knew what was happening, lifted him up and slammed him to the ground, and as he pulled his hand off the guy's face he swung his other arm across and hit him in the jaw and knocked him out. As the third guy realized what was going on he turned to see Wolfe knock out his friend on the ground. It took him a second, but he went to throw a fire ball at Wolfe. Wolfe who was already crotched over tucked and rolled out of the way of the first shot. As the man shot another, Wolfe rolled out of the way of that one as well and was now almost right under the man. Wolfe reached out his hand right between the man's legs and stood up real quick. Wolfe bent his arm a little and cradled the man under his crotch as he left him up and over him and slammed him onto the ground on Wolfe's other side. As the man went to try one more shot at him, Wolfe just kicked the guy in the face and knocked him out. As he did a security guy ran out the doors and saw Wolfe standing over the two knocked out men. Wolfe just nodded to the man and the man thanked Wolfe for not letting these two men escape and making sure they didn't make any more of a scene. Wolfe nodded again and watched as the man take the two knocked out men away. Wolfe took a second to look around as see if anything else looked out of place.

As Wolfe looked around he noticed another group of guys who watched the whole thing from some chairs near the pool. Wolfe could tell these guys were more punks of the ex's, and they meant to give Wolfe more problems. Wolfe just smirked at them and motioned for them to follow him as he left the grounds of the hotel and went into a alleyway. Wolfe waited till the three men walked into the alley with him before he just shock his head in disappointment. These three looked pathetic compared to the groups he had been fighting so far, and Wolfe knew this was just a waste if his time. Wolfe motioned for them to come and take the first attack. The guy to the right dashed at Wolfe and swung for a shot at his face. He just caught it mid swing with little to no effort. As he did this another one dashed to the left and then at Wolfe and swung for his face. Wolfe didn't even try to stop the hit as it hit Wolfe in his jaw. Wolfe took the shot and just turned to look at his attacker with a very disappointed look on his face. Wolfe swung the guy who's fist he had caught into the guy who hit him. As the first guy smashed into the second guy Wolfe let go of the guys fist and grabbed both of their heads and slammed them together. They both let out a cry as they both fell over. Wolfe then kicked one of the in the side sending him flying into the other guy as they both hit the wall and fell to the ground limp.

Wolfe then turned to the last guy who looked like he still intended to hold his ground. Wolfe just grabbed a lid off of a empty trash can and then kicked the can at the guy's legs. As he looked down to dodge it Wolfe threw the lid at the guy's head. Just as the guy looked down and dodged to can he looked up to get a lid in the face. This knocked him back a step and he lost his focus. Wolfe dashed in and took a shot into the man's gut and he toppled over onto the ground and was out cold. Wolfe just walked away shaking his head as he headed back to the hotel just around the corner.

Just as Wolfe turned the corner there were three more guys waiting for him. Wolfe had finally had enough of the rabble. These waves or peons were getting on Wolfe's nerves and he wasn't going to wast any more time on these worthless henchmen anymore. Wolfe dashed as soon as they made eye contact and was in their faces before they even knew it. Wolfe reached out his hand and grabbed the guy's head who was closest to the wall and slammed his head into the wall with all his force. The body just went limp and fell to the ground. The other two were so surprised they didn't even act before Wolfe just swung with his other hand and caught the middle guy in the jaw and hit him so hard his jaw broke and he stumbled back and fell backwards knocked out. As the third guy finally shook off the the surprise Wolfe kicked forward and caught the guy in his gut. As he doubled over Wolfe reached out and grabbed the guy's hair, and brought his head down as he brought up his knee and caught the guy in the face. The guy got knocked off his feet as he flew backwards and hit the ground rolling around holding his face as blood squirted everywhere.

Wolfe just stepped over the bodies of the men as he continued on his way back to the hotel. He was done with this and he just wanted to catch the big fish now.

'Monster Dice' :

Wolfe made his way back to the hotel and up back to his room. While he was there he got hiself ready and put his suit on and got himself all tidied up. When he wanted to, he cleaned up very well. However, he just didn't do it often, and with his line of work it wasn't the best idea to get all dressed up that often. Between the fights and general dangers mages faced on jobs it wasn't something that was important to him. After a few more minutes he finally was ready and he made his way out of his room and down stairs.

When he reached the down stairs area he met up with the groom and they headed out towards the main garden area where the wedding was going to be starting soon. On his way out he walked by one of the maintenance carts and grabbed a heavy metal pipe lying on the cart, and shoved it up his sleeve as they walked out.

They were barely down the street when one more group of punks jumped out of the bushes at them. Wolfe without even breaking his stride swung his hand up and in the direction of the closest henchman. As he did the pipe slid out and right right at the guys face. As it hit him right between the eyes it knocked hi back and off his feet. Wolfe dashed forward and caught the pipe in mid air as he then took a swing and hit one of the other guys in the side of the head knocking him back and out cold. As the first guy went to move again, Wolfe swung again at the side of his head and knocked him out. As the third guy went to dash at the groom, Wolfe threw the pipe and hit him right in the throat and made the guy stop in his tracks. Wolfe then took a step forwards and planted a kick to the side of the guys head knocking him out of the way and out as well. The Two of them continued on their way like nothing had ever happened.

Wolfe and the groom got to the wedding area shortly after, and after he made sure the groom was in a secure area Wolfe went to check on the details about the ex. Since his knocking out of the two guards he had been keeping low, but Wolfe knew he needed to make sure he didn't get to far into the wedding, however, he knew there was nothing he could do now. At this point his job was damage control and making sure he didn't actually mess up the wedding. He wasn't going to show himself till he was ready to mess up the most important part of the wedding. From here he had a really good place to watch the wedding and could see the entire area as well. Shortly after he took his place the wedding started and everything was going as planned. Wolfe watched as everything continued perfectly. The whole thing was actually very well put together and beautiful. If he wasn't there for a job he would of actually enjoyed the event a lot. However, he was here on business and he needed to stay focused. As the Wedding continued on the tension in the air was starting to get pretty heavy as everyone there knew it was about to happen.

Like in textbook form it happened exactly the way Wolfe knew it would. The bride and groom were staring into each other's eyes as the priest asked if there was anyone who objected to the two of them being joined in marriage and from a place all the way in the back a voice could be heard as the ex walked out of a very large bush near the back of the wedding area. He spoke in a loud voice that boomed across the area and he started to laugh as he thought that he was just the center of attention. He then started to make his way towards the lane and the bride and groom. He held out his hand and pointed at the groom and was about to say something when there was a loud BOOM. As everyone looked around there was a flash of light and from the sky came crashing down a lightning bolt. It almost landed right on top of the ex and he was forced to leap back as the bolt hit the ground where he had just been standing. As the ex took a second to gather himself he watch as a form materialized from the spot the bolt had just hit. Wolfe was now standing right in front of the ex and he had a grin on his face. He was hoping this guy would put up the fight his goon couldn't. However, Wolfe also knew he could let this get too crazy because he needed to make sure the wedding didn't get messed up in the process of fighting him.

Wolfe and the ex stared at each other for a second before Wolfe dashed at the ex. He went to respond but Wolfe was too quick and he was on top of the ex before he could manage a spell. Wolfe swung back his right hand and launched it forward and hit the ex right in the face and cause him to stumble back and throw his his head back. Wolfe just smirked as he thought to himself that this was going to be a let down but then he felt a pressure near his stomach. He looked down at the last second to see a blast come from the ex's hand and hit Wolfe in the stomach and send him flying through the air. It took Wolfe a second to gather himself as he was flying through the air, and he realized he was flying right at a group of seated people. Just as he was about to him the people he turned into a bolt of lightning and shot straight up into the air. He then came crashing down a few feet in front of the ex who was just straighting himself up. Wolfe then shot across the ground, and the ex noticed this and started to shoot waves at the bolt. The bolt just darted back and forth and finally found an opening as he darted right at the ex's feet, and just before he got there he bolted straight up and in mid air Wolfe reformed and threw his right hand up and went to uppercut the ex. The ex didn't have enough time to react and as Wolfe's fist caught his chin he was sent off his feet and into the air. However, Wolfe had no intent to lose a perfect chance to inflict some damage, and just as The ex started to fly backwards, Wolfe reached out and caught him by his ankle and and pulled him back and just as he did he swung his left hand and caught the ex in the chest and plowed him straight down and into the ground. Just as Wolfe once again thought he had the upper hand he was once again surprised as he felt a wave hit his feet knocking them out from under him and he saw as the ex threw out his hand and hit Wolfe in the side and sent in flying a few feet away.

Right after Wolfe landed he got back up and dusted himself off and looked over to see the ex doing the same. It was obvious that both of them had taken a few decent shots now, except that Wolfe was starting to feel numb int he areas he had been hit with the blast from the ex. Wolfe knew this needed to be the last hit and he needed to make it count. Wolfe and the ex stared each other down and then the ex made his move as he shot out a wave at Wolfe. Wolfe turned into a bolt of lightning and shot down to the ground and started to bolt back ad forth towards the ex. The Ex knew better this time and wouldn't give Wolfe the opening he was looking for. Wolfe knew this so he had a different idea,a nd started moving around the ex to force him to change the direction he was looking. Wolfe waited till the ex was facing the direction of the sun and shot up into the air and into the path of the sun. The ex could see Wolfe as the sun blinded him when he looked up and Wolfe knew this was his chance. He then bolt back down and at the last second he reformed and did a front flip and extended his right leg and before th ex had a chance to respond it was too late and Wolfe's heel was catching him in the top of the head. As it did Wolfe focused his energy to his foot and a blot of lightning came crashing down on top of the man's head just as Wolfe's kick connected with him. There was a sound as the ex went to scream but the sound was muffled and then silence.

The fight was over and Wolfe was the winner. He calmly took his leave and dragged the knocked out body of the ex out of garden and near a pond and threw him in. As the ex's face hit the water he woke up and looked around. Wolfe stood there and looked down at the ex and told him that if he ever messed with the couple again Wolfe would come back and next time he wouldn't just knock him out, he would kill him. Wolfe then made his way back into the wedding area at the last second and and saw the bride and groom kiss. Wolfe stuck around for the rest of the wedding and the reception. The new husband and wife and found Wolfe later that night and thanked him once again for his help. They had a small conversation before Wolfe went to leave. As he was about to leave the wife called to him and handed him a flower, and explained that she once used to perform magic and that was why she and her ex ever met, and another big reason why the ex hated her new husband so much was that he didn't do magic and the ex thought it was a waste for her to be with someone that wasn't like her. She explained that the flower she just handed him was infused with magic and as long as he kept it in a place where there was magic it would never wither. Wolfe accepted the flower and noticed it was a black rose and realized she picked it out because of his clan. He thanked them and then parted ways with the the after wishing the good luck and a he was off, and on his way back home.
