Of all that words accessible to him, boring seemed to sum up the event quiet nicely. Straining against the red tie latched onto him like a parasite, Rayden knew he'd be there for a long time. Simply wandering the halls as per usual, he had been suddenly called and sent off on a job as soon as it was requested. He was fairly convinced he was sent simply because he was one of the first to be found, also explaining his partner for the evening. Despite it being a seemingly important even, the Knights clearly didn't care overall who actually handled it and probably just wanted to make an immediate reaction to make it seem like they were capable. Another act simply to keep face, and he was a pawn in it. Which lead to his position now, simply standing at the entrance and watching. He felt more like an object on display than anything else. Forced into an uncomfortable, borrowed suit, he shook his head and watched out for any more approaches.
The couple inside was apparently famous, but he knew little about them. He cared not for celebrities or the like, it wasn't his style. Yet everyone in the area seemed to. So far, the only people who had approached him where either trying to convince him they were invited, or seeing if he'd take a bribe of some kind to get them in. None of them made it so far. At least the job paid well, so he was getting something out of the glorified doorman work. He hadn't even spoken a word to the clients, instead simply told to stand here and check for invitations by the garden fence. It wasn't a particularly safe place for a wedding, or at least one that had people going after it. Held in a large park, the only entrance as a single gate he currently stood by. However, anyone could in theory get in over the fence or with magic, which is why several people walked the length of it to make sure no one did.
'The epitome of selfishness.' That's all he could think about his "clients." They cared more about the show and appearance than anything else. Hell, the main reason they had him doing this was probably so he wasn't even seen. It's not that he looked bad; dressed in the surprisingly well fit suit, a solid black with white dress shirt, he was quite the looker. The red tie highlighted his hair as well. Yet he had no name, no fame. That was the problem. He hadn't seen a single person enter the event who wasn't apparently well known. It all stunk of high class waste. Worse of all though, he was assigned the job alongside Orin. So far they had only one encounter, but that in itself was more than enough for him to have a distaste for the woman. She was like the people inside, with an air of superiority and attitude that just irked his entirely. Yet he was stuck here for likely several more hours, wondering if anyone would even show up.
