Zaltac vs Minoru

"Zaltac Nivalis-

Meet me at my home town of, Talonia, and I will show you who is in charge!"

That was the only thing noted for Zaltac on the Guild's Board for him specifically. A challenge against another mage. It did not matter if it was of the same guild or not; to him it was a test of his strength that he will not ignore. Gearing up in his usual attire of cloth shawl and leather; he made himself out to Talonia with no mark of who this challenger was. It did not matter, for he had full confidence in his strength against those of "equal" power.

When he arrived in Talonia after several hours of travel; he would begin searching for his opponent in the wide-open town of the guildless. There was no specifications as to where to meet, so he held his guard up ready for any ambush attack that might come his way. Though he was mostly blind, his senses were at full par and ready react on a moment's notice.

Minoru looked over at the scum like worthless piece of shit that was his opponent standing only five meters away from him now."so you came kuso kurae!" Minoru yelled ." baka it is time for payback, and you have it coming your way. Get prepared to fall by my hands and rot in the ground". Minoru jumped up and then prepared for a speedy dive kick that at the most should take five seconds to get in. Minoru remembered earlier when the second in command of the guild walked by and scolded Minoru himself. It was all because of Zaltac Nivalis the blind man who had called minoru nothing more than a kid.If the guild master was there something more could have happened like death of this puny man, but now that they were in Minoru's home town nothing could stop him especially not this chump.

"So you came kuso kurae!" Zaltac heard from close by, turning his head to see the familiar aura of one of his new guild mates. This one appearing to be the foul-mouthed one who tried to intimidate him back as he just entered the Guild. Evne now, he still does not stand out as much of a threat being all talk and no bite as his mannerisms were...odd.
"And what is a child like you challenging me for?" He retorted, listening to his opponent go off once more,
"Baka, it is time for payback, and you have it coming your way. Get prepared to fall by my hands and rot in the ground!"
"You got to be kidding me..." Zaltac groaned to himself, seeing the aura of Minoru jump up into the air and begin descending towards him. However, the attack was all too predictable. You never start off jumping as it leaves your descending options very limited; especially if you are aiming for the aggressive. Either this child knew nothing of combat, or Zaltac was just too well versed in hand to hand fighting. He did not feel as though he would NEED his weapons to take down this over-active punk. When Minoru's kick came in his reach: Zaltac reacted by grabbing hold of the leg and pivoting himself away while forcing Minoru to continue his flight of path, putting Zaltac to Minoru's now exposed side. "This is rediculous," He starts off, performing a right chop to his abdomin that would slam Minoru back to the ground if it hit him square on or blocked. And if it did, Zaltac would continue "this will be proven soon enough, for you are nothing more than a," he started up again; this time performing a serious of swift combo attacks: A right knee to the chest- Axe kick to plant him face first into the ground, kicking him up with his left boot so he was standing again to deliver a painful right chop into Minoru's right rib cage, a palm thrust into his abdomine and finally ending the combo with a powerful right kick that would knock Minoru at least nine feet away from him; all while saying "crooked, collapsed, cortex, criminally handicapped, overly-made up clown!"'

Minoru knew the other man had better fighting potential so after a few moves so he let himself be pestered by them he took all the combo's until the kick which he touched with instant transformation of his annoyance now emotionally buffed the damage was a lot more in fact doubled. Minoru jumped back even after being knocked back and. Growled. "crooked, collapsed, cortex, criminally handicapped, overly-made up clown!"' Minoru looked back after the insult and said "look at your leg a special present is waiting for you". Minoru ran up to the man and jumped over him while in jump turning off the mode and went into healing mode about five feet back, he was not feeling joyful so no buff. Minoru now healed slide kicked the man with battle gear on minoru was more flexible than a jacket on or cloak. Minoru while sliding attempted a nut punch if it missed then min would spin kick and start running.

"Look at your leg, a special present is waiting for you!"
He did not just say that to an obvious blind man.... Zaltac thought, though he was right and did feel a pain on his leg. A strong one. One that began to itch as though he was just scratched by poison ivy. Whatever was the cost, he simply did his best to ignore it and focused on his opponent while recalling what happened that might have caused it, recalling nothing being shouted or obvious movement performed. All that happened was... Zaltac recalled the moment he delivered the final kick, where Minoru then touched his leg before impact. Touch based with his hands....though there was something different with his aura....It flared, both in anger and what appeared to be aggravation... Zaltac thought out, before looking back up to see Minoru just floating over him. But something happened to Minoru. Zaltac again saw his aura had changed. I see, he is influencing himself with his emotions. If that is the basis of his magic, than it has corrupted him beyond reprieve.
"Pathetic....Using magic to alter your own emotions, the very being that is your soul...To sink so low." Zaltac stated, having figured out Minoru's abilities both with experience and his unique eye-sight. If there was a chance for Minoru to have won, it was now lost. Now he could see and predict when the attacks would come. Though he did not give completely into confidence, like a professional he kept up his guard and waited for Minor to approach once more. And he was right, Minoru once again did make the first move in the second set of confrontation. Though this time, he chose to slide toward and under him. Evading the obvious sliding kick from Minoru, Zaltac pivoted twice to the right and re-positioned himself so that he was ready for both the attack at his crotch, and the sweeping kick; blocking the fist with his hand and the kick with his own foot. Though before Zaltac could react again, Minoru ran away. "This was your challenge to me, and you choose to run. Where is your sense in honor?" Zaltac mocked, finding more and more reasons to feel sorry for Minoru while at the same time despising him. Zaltac began to follow; but noticed that Minoru was a lot faster than he was despite his years of training. He joined a guild based around survival, there is no mistake that he knows how to avoid those who are more physically fit than himself. Thus he is able to run at a higher speed for his own re-positioning. But Gorilla-tactics will not work against me. Our experience is heavily shown. Zaltac thought out as he continued to chase down Minoru, making sure his blind fold was off so he could avoid running into random people or walls through his blurred vision.

minoru kept running, but as he knew what to do it eventually came to if he was looking at me. He may have left and if he did we both would have lost. minoru jumped spinning in the air used sadness and landed. minoru used it on while he was running, so it would hit zaltac Nivalis, the man being fought. If the spell was used correctly they would both fall asleep... and they would be there forever. Nah they would be there for a short time until one woke up and stabbed the other so that they could not get up. Minoru would sleep a nice dream of winning if the attack worked and would wake up earlier than Zaltac liked to wake up probably Minoru was assuming as Minoru got up at short times generally.

There was a reason why Zaltac's in shape body was not keeping up with Minoru, the damage to his leg was slowing him down. Though Zaltac's natural speed is higher than that of others of similar power, the damage to his leg and the irritation to it was causing him to not fully sprint to capture his foe. Figuring this out, Zaltac had to come up with a plan. When Minoru turned into an alleyway, Zaltac ran up the building next to it. Though this process slowed him down, if done right; Minoru would either stop moving or he would cut Minoru off at a point where he could gain the advantage of surprise. However, he was unaware of Minoru's tactics. Zaltac ran across the roof of the small one story building and attempted to cut Minoru off; by leaping down at the exit before Minoru reached it. If this worked, he would be able to possibly land a crippling blow onto Minoru as he had done to him; once again leveling the playing field. If not, than Zaltac would end up being even further slowed, and practically rooted as he regained his posture after the leap. During all of this, Zaltac was not looking at Minoru once when he attempted to perform his trick; which would actually lead to Zaltac ending up facing Minoru's backside instead. Though this would work in cutting Minoru's escape off, it also left Zaltac still a distance away and slightly stunned from the leap down for a few seconds. If Minoru began running again, then the tactic was all for naught and Zaltac would find himself back in square one: Trying to catch a fleeing foe.
