Find those puppies! [Job|Solo]

Magnolia Town. A lively city, with high levels of activity. Its citizens were usually quite happy, given that the town itself was famous due to its high number of festivals, which helped improve the mood a lot. It was in this very city that stood the Guild known as Fairy Tail, one of the many Legal Guilds across Fiore, but that also happened to be one of the most powerful ones. If that was the case, then... what was Mizark doing there? Surely, the help of Eclipse Soul was not needed there, but it turned out it was. The Guild of Redemption had a request that needed attention, and as one of the newbies, the jet-black haired teenager had stepped forward, eager to take the job and begin earning his first jewels as a member. He was incredibly excited, or at least, he was at first... until he realized that the chosen request only involved finding puppies. How incredibly dull was that, Mizark could not even begin to comprehend. Even if he had made his way to an location completely unknown for him, the muscular man could not help but to sigh in disappointment.

-Agh... I guess this is what being D-Rank means...

The Kiir had traveled from his base to Magnolia. It had been a truly long way, given that them being surrounded by mountains made exiting the area quite the difficult task when going out. Luckily for him, however, it was far easier once the valley was left behind, since transportation could actually be an option once he got to walk in the grass once more. Thus, the jet-black haired boy had picked the first train that came to the city of festivals. On his back, his favorite, tattered bag was held with cautiousness, kept joint to the body using the only strap it had. Yeah, most people gave that sack a nasty look, but the Kiir did not care in the slightest bit. He was there for work, not to discuss anything with citizens.

"-Alright, now... let's see what we have here. I have to meet up with this girl named Koneko, and then... find those puppies. God-damn it, it still is embarrassing when I think about it"

It took the muscular teenager quite some time to be able to reach the destination he had been given. Since he had interpreted a map just a couple of times before, Mizark had a very hard time knowing where he was based on that. Finding far easier to orientate just by using his mere sight, the Demon Fist Magic user had to ask for directions, in order to find his client. After a little while, the pitch-black eyed boy had managed to make his way to the girl's house. With a sigh, he knocked on the door, and then a childish voice came from the inside. It was quite cheerful, and reminded him of Venir's, the girl who had met him when he had arrived to Eclipse Soul.

-I'm comiiiiiing! -echoed from behind the door. Suddenly, the door quickly opened, and Mizark had to look down in order to be able to talk to her properly.

-Good morning. By any chance, do you happen to be named "Koneko"?

The young female, who did not look to be more than twelve years old, quickly asked who was the stranger that was standing right before her door. Mizark introduced himself with a respectful bow; as always, he was diligent when it came to dealing with serious matters... even if those matters had to deal with rescuing the puppies of a pre-teen. Well, he guessed that most powerful mages had also started like that, and it was definitely better than doing nothing back home. Yeah, he had begun to train, but it was not the same. Plus, he could really use the interaction with other human beings, given that he tended to get far too nervous when the conversation grew too casual; to be completely fair, it seemed like that mission would also be the case. Oh, darn. He just hoped that he would not screw up with his stuttering that time.

-Yes! I am Koneko, although that is how my friends call me... I don't know why, I prefer dogs. My real name is Nanami Mashiro. Who will you be?
-I am Mizark Kiir, from Eclipse Soul. I'm here to tend to your request, the one with the lost puppies, is it? -the jet-black haired boy asked.

The young female would then tell him to enter her home, to which the jet-black haired teenager would comply with a simple nod of his head. He wanted to know the details firsthand: all the information he could get in order to find those puppies would be necessary, since Magnolia Town was not exactly tiny, to be fair. It was a fairly big place to stay in, and the little cubs would probably be lost all around it. The Kiir felt like he was going to experience a really hard time finding those pups, although it was most likely that the neighbors could tell him whether they had interacted with them lately or not. That would be useful, as said information would enable to limit the area in which the muscular teenager was going to search for the aforementioned furry creatures.

-So, I would like you to tell me as much as you can about the puppies, all seven of them. Also, if you happened to have any picture of them, it would be incredibly helpful to me. An image speaks for itself, while words tend to be much more vague -the boy told her in his business tone.

To his surprise, the girl suddenly jumped forward and leaned on the couch where he was sitting, taking a much closer look at him. That gesture in particular, that display of curiosity, was the sign that things were not going to go well for Mizark during the rest of the interaction between the two; it ended up ruining the facade he had been trying to uphold, hiding his nervousness when it came to deal with strangers, specially those belonging to the opposite sex. That sense of embarrassment, coupled with the faint blush that crept on his face and the stuttering that was soon to follow afterwards would begin once the girl had spoken her words.

-Come on, come on! You don't need to be that stiff! This is supposed to be fun! All of Fairy Tail's wizards tend to have fun when doing jobs, so I want you to be happy, too! -she stated.
-Er... uhm... y-yeah, I guess I s-shouldn't be this stiff, I mean... it's the first time I've come to Magnolia, and all. "Can we please get to the puppies?" -the male thought that last line, hoping that the interaction wouldn't last long, or else he would be the one not to last.

The wizard from Eclipse Soul and the young pet-owner from Magnolia kept talking for a few minutes, perhaps reaching half an hour. Both of the youngsters had been conversing about the puppies, the main target of the mission. There were seven different cubs, and each of them had their own personality, tastes, likes and dislikes. First, according to her description, there was Honda, who was a golden-colored dog, who loved playing around with people in town. It was most likely to be found in a children's playground. Second, they had Brad, who liked to listen to music, and had black and white fur. He would probably be found near one of the festivals, so that was going to be a hard one. Thirdly, the pup named Valerie. This one was a female, and she could be seen attempting to meet new people everywhere. It was most likely to cause a ruckus, since she'd be saying hello to everyone in town like dogs tend to do, by wagging their tails and attempt to climb onto your leg. That one would be easy to find.

-I see... what about the other four? -Mizark asked, interested in them.

The other four cubs were a little bit more different. They seemed to be much more mischievous than their other peers, and the young female was quick to tell him to be careful around them, since they could bite. Mizark rose his hand in a conciliative way; after all, his body was far more resilient than that of any other D-Rank mage, given the kind of magic he was adept in using. Demon Fist was good for that kind of situations, and since he emphasized on quick assaults and close dodges, he would have an easier time catching them. The next puppies were named Ryusei, a black-furred pup with a tendency to tear all types of furniture. He could be found in any store that sold chairs, sofas, or anything close to them. Then, there was Birne and Seto, who were twins and did all things together, mostly play pranks on people, albeit unconsciously. And the last one was Sangloup, a wolf-like puppy with a rather aggressive behavior towards everyone and everything.

Once all the information regarding the targets of the mission at hand was given to the wizard, Mizark would then take his tattered sack once more, heading towards the door. He glanced at the girl, who waved him goodbye and told him that he would be invited to a cup of tea if he managed to bring the seven animals back to safety. Once that was said, the Kiir crossed the wooden door towards the street, where he would need to begin his search of the lost ones. The first place he should check was the park that was nearby, given that, if the pups lived in that area, it was probable that he had not run away from there, and was instead hiding. Just a wild guess, but it could definitely work.

-Excuse me. Where can I find the nearest park? -Mizark had asked a citizen, who pointed to the east, saying that it was quite close. Thus, the Demon Fist user began making his way to the designated point.

It only took Mizark a matter of seconds to reach the designated location. His eyes hovered all around the park, where children played under the watchful gaze of their parents. The teenager's tattoo of Eclipse Soul was left to be shown due to the attire he was wearing at that time, so the pitch-black emblem with the white outline was visible. It did not take long for the citizens to realize that he was there for business, and the Kiir could see them tensing up a little bit. Rising his hands in a conciliative manner, the pitch-black eyed male began his search. Hopefully the puppy wouldn't be far from there... without any hesitation, he approached the structures of the aforementioned area in order to find clues, or signs, that could pinpoint the dog's exact location. Turns out he did not have to look that far away; in the middle of the sandlot there was a little boy that was petting the pup he was looking for.

-There you are, Honda. -the boy stated, approaching and crouching down. However, the infant seemed protective of the cub, but Mizark was not going to rip it away from him. -Hey, little boy. I need to retrieve this puppy and give it back to its owner. She is very worried about him... -he stated, hoping that his words would be heard and understood.

The young infant seemed to have taken a strong liking to the pup in question, although he showed himself to be reasonable and cooperative: after a few pouts, the dog was let to go with Mizark. The Demon Fist Magic user petted it on the head, earning a little of his trust, and then he picked it up from the ground with one arm. He then went back to the initial spot, leaving the cub at the door... now, only six remained. The jet-black haired male then went towards a different direction: this time, he asked the locals for a nearby furniture store. However, there was nothing to be found there, much to his discontent. The Kiir had to try his luck once more, and in order to do so, he had to go to at least five or six different stores of Magnolia. Along the way, he found one more puppy, the female one, Valerie. After picking it up as well, he entered the last furniture store he found... and who was there? Ryusei, chewing on the sofa. When the manager turned back, Mizark sneaked behind him, grabbed the puppy, and quietly exited so they wouldn't associate Eclipse Soul with the damage done to the store.

That was three out of seven. Now, the other four...

The next target Mizark had in mind was the festival-loving pup, Brad. The wizard did not lose any time whatsoever and directed his steps towards Magnolia's latest music festival, in which the cub was sure to be found, unless there was something else that had dragged its attention. It took him a while to get there, albeit, much to his discontent, there was nothing that he could find in the aforementioned place. It was way too crowded and way too noisy for him to even be able to look at the ground without finding a mass of feet. Thus, the Kiir resigned, and turned away from the crowd, thinking where else would he be able to find Brad. His surprise was humongous when he saw a puppy happily jumping around a man that was sitting down in a corner playing a flute. The wizard would then approach slowly, enjoying the music as well, and picked the puppy in question. That made him have quite a few puppies on his hands, so the next part was going to the girl's home once more and leave them there. Once that was taken care of, it would be time to find the last three: the twins, and Sangloup.

The next one would be the most dangerous one he had come across yet. The Kiir did not have any idea where to find a puppy that always got into trouble due to his aggressive behavior, so he just wandered around the city, knowing that it would take much more than a speck of luck to find the creature. He couldn't tell how many hours passed since he had begun searching for Sangloup, but it was morning when he started, and by that time, most of the people were eating, sitting on restaurants and enjoying a meal that made the Kiir's stomach growl. The young man was hungry as well, so he decided that he would go to a restaurant and spend a few jewels in some food, when he suddenly came across trouble. There was one puppy that was barking angrily at another dog much bigger than him, showing his teeth as well. While the bigger one did not seem to care, its owner was a little bit more shocked, and showed it by attempting to drive the other dog away with a swift kick. The result? Sangloup avoided it, and bit him on the leg, causing the man to roll on the floor. Just as the pup let go, he was sent flying by the force of the man swinging the legs, and it was then when Mizark went full-speed and grabbed him. The aggressive one bit his arm and did not let go for the rest of the trip...

Five out of seven. Now things were looking fine.

This time, it was the last two puppies, the twins. They loved pulling pranks on people, but the teenager was completely oblivious to whether they could possible be in the city streets or inside one of the stores, and that was much more complicated, since area of investigation practically doubled; no, tripled at that. Still carrying the puppy he had found before, which was still munching on his arm, wondering why his baby teeth did not even make the man flinch, the Kiir sat down in a bench, resting for a little while he thought of yet another way of finding the twins. They were always together, like protagonist and sidekick, so that was the only positive thing about looking for them. The muscular, fairly tall teenager went on and began walking again, stopping to look at a sign. After a few moments, he noticed that his two feet got a little wet... looking down, he saw two identical dog cubs spraying their piss on him as if to mark their territory.

He had found them, but... -Oh god fucking damn it. You two can't be serious!!! -the teenager said, and then the two looked at him with the definitive puppy stare. However, with his feet soaked in piss, Mizark was impervious to it. Grabbing them while trying to hold his rage, he made his move towards the girl's house.

-Alright then, here they are... -Mizark spoke to the girl, counting the seven puppies that were playing right on his feet, where the two twins had unleashed their wet rage minutes before. It was a little smelly, but tolerable, to say the least; the problem was that all the others were attempting to do the same now. -Valerie, Brad, Ryusei, Sangloup, Seto and Birne, and last but not least, Honda. These are your seven puppies, right? -the boy asked, to which the client answered with quick nods and a really happy gaze.

-Yes! These are my puppies. I'm sorry, I promise I'll never let you get lost again! -she said, crouching to the ground, getting licked by all of the cubs as a result. Afterwards, Mizark was invited to a cup of tea, an offer which he politely declined. He had no time to lose; his home was too far away for him to do so, and he did not know when was the next train was going to depart. After getting his payment and being thanked all the way to the door, the boy's steps were directed towards the station. There, he would begin his return voyage to the mountains, where Eclipse Soul lied. Right after he returned, it was time to get down to business once more.

-"You'll see, Azazel. You'll see that I've grown since our previous encounter."
