Enola and Anguis met up with a rather shy man in his mother’s basement. They had answered a job request that mentioned something about delivering letters just that morning and decided the task was so simple that even they could not screw it up. What they hadn’t expected, however, was to meet a man who lived with his mother in a basement. The man, who identified himself as Geoffrey, was quite an ugly-looking dude with a terrible odor and neckbeard to match. He was a tad overweight and had glasses of course. He was someone even Anguis would not touch. Disregarding how disgusting he was, the two took his directions as needed and took the letter at hand to deliver it to his childhood sweetheart. It seemed difficult to grasp that any girl at any time could hae a crush on them, prompting them to wonder if it was a one-way sort of deal.
It turned out to be a tougher task than originally thought. The woman they were to deliver the letter to was a celebrity of some sorts (automatically making her Anguis’ idol) and she was doing a concert in Magnolia Town at the time. The duo pushed their way through the throngs of screaming fans that stood in their way. Anguis lead the way considering no one really wanted to stand between a snake woman and the lady’s destination. Once they made it past everyone, they found their way to the entrance of the back stage where a large man wearing a security uniform guarded the way. Once again, Anguis took the lead and performed her hypnotism on the man. It worked like a charm and the security guard was dazed. Gently so, the lamia pushed the poor, seduced guard out of the way and made her way forward, Enola following right behind her with the letter clenched in her gloved hand.
The two rushed down the hallway with some subtly, to the best of their ability at least. After a few good minutes of almost comical searching, they found a door with a great big star on it, indicating that the room belonged to a great celebrity. They knocked a few times and were greeted by a woman who looked like the most cliché popstar ever. Going somewhat hurriedly to avoid getting caught by security, Enola surrendered the letter to the woman who spent a minute going over it. She cringed and remarked how creepy she thought Geoffrey was before politely asking them to leave as a look of fear overcame her face. The two were happy to do so and decided it better to go climb out a window to avoid the chance of running into the security guard who was ore than likely awake at that point.
They hastily retreated to Geoffrey’s mother’s house and informed the young man that all went well; although, they did exaggerate about the popstar’s reaction and merely said she was happy to receive the letter. Geoffrey nearly burst for joy before making it rain Jewels on Enola and Anguis.
