Getting my grub on Magnolia style!!!

Wolfe was having a nice day off for the first time in a long time. He had just finished his last job and that meant it was almost time to head back to the guild and let Kakuma know. Then it was on to the exam. He was actually looking forward to it. He wasn't sure what to expect, but he was sure he would be fine. However, before he needed to think about that, he needed to get his grub on.

It was about lunch time and he had till at least mid day tomorrow before he really had to head out. So he planned on spending the rest of the day here and finding a few new places to try some food out at.

It took him a few but he found a place, and in a rare set of events he actually liked this place so far. It was pretty rare for him to like the first place he sat down to eat at, so he was pretty happy. Wolfe was well into his third plate of food as he sat on the patio seating of the restaurant enjoying his food.

Ivy was in Magnolia, the city that housed the guild Fairy Tail. She had no idea why she was here, it was moreso in spite of curiosity. Ivy took the train to Magnolia's station, and began her first steps into the city.

The city was cool... In a "not cold not hot" aspect. It was sunny, there was a nice breeze, and no precipitation. A perfect day to go on a walk, and Ivy was about to do so until...

*growl*

Ivy clutched her stomach. She was completely famished. She ate nothing but a piece of bread while at the guild hall, and that was late last night. So, she completely searched for Food places and food places alone. The first place she stumbled upon was a restaurant named The Silver Platter, and well that was the one that she entered into. It had a nice atmosphere to it, but it seemed more like a cafe than a restaurant as it was, but she saw people eating full-hearted meals despite the place looking like somewhere you would go on a work break. Ivy went up to the register, and looked at all of the foods that this place had. The menu had dozens of different foods, the ones Ivy more interested in being the desserts. That's precisely what she ordered.

Ivy ordered a brownie, chocolate chip cookie, a slice of chocolate cake, a chocolate chip muffin, and.... Another piece of bread. The bread was to make it seem like she wasn't solely dependent on sweet foods, plus Ivy actually liked the taste of plain wheat bread. The man, who was questionable about a child wandering in and ordering a bunch of sweets, said to go out to the patio and wait a few minutes. Ivy complied, and she went outside.

Ivy waited ten minutes, then her stomach growled again. Seeing as she was in public it made her highly embarrassed, and her face became a slight tint of red. Ivy didn't want to seem as famished as she was, it put the image in her mind that others would think she was homeless or couldn't afford food. "Hey where's my food!!!" Ivy yelled into the restaurant. As if on cue, a man holding everything that was on Ivy's selection came by, and dropped it off. Ivy immediately began to nibble on the bread that she had, instantaneously feeling the effects of hunger diminish.

Wolfe was in the middle of stuffing his face and was completely focused on that task. He was in the middle of shoving yet another mouthful of food in his mouth when he heard a voice he recognized. He stooped mid motion with his mouth wide open with food hanging out of it and his had half shoving food in it still as he turned his head and looked around. It took him a second before he found the source of the voice. There was she was, Ivy, just getting her food served. It seemed she had been yelling about the time for the man to bring her the food she ordered. Wolfe went to say something but forgot he had like three helpings of food shoved in his mouth with even more hanging out of it. He took a second to finishing chewing and swallowed his food real quick with almost cause him to choke. He had to cough a few times before he could speak.

Wolfe turned to look at Ivy who was now starting to eat her food. Wolfe called out to her "Hey! Ivy! why don't you come over here and sit?" Wolfe started cleaning up the multiple plates on his table and stacking them so there was ample room for Ivy to come sit at his table and eat, and of course there was enough room for at least two more of the plates he ordered.

Ivy was feeling the warmth of the bread in her mouth, it's refreshing taste that was getting rid of her hunger until....

Interruption.

Ivy turned her head to the general direction of the way someone called her out, and smiled at him. It was her former acquaintance Wolfe, from when they took a job together. He offered for her to sit with him, so she politely accepted. Ivy put the bread in her mouth, grabbed the muffin and cookie plates, put those on the edge of the brownie and cake plates and put her hands underneath those, making enough support. She carefully walked over, almost falling a couple times and setting the four plates down. "Hi~ What's up?"

Wolfe watched as Ivy came and sat down next him at the table. Wolfe took another bite and swallowed it. He smiled as he answered "I am great. i am just eating while i have the chance. I am in between jobs. how about you? how are you, and what are you up to?" Just he finished speaking he shoved the last bit of food fro that plate in his mouth. He then placed it on top of the other six cleared plates to the side and held his hand up as a man walked out and placed another plate piled high with food in front of Wolfe. He smiled and nodded at the man and dug right into the food as he waited for Ivy to answer.

Ivy was nibbling on her bread as he was speaking, and finished it just in time to respond. "Well I was about to go home after this. I was just looking through Magnolia then I was gonna go back to my home for a day or two!" Ivy nodded twice, then picked up and unwrapped the muffin. She took a bite out of it and then her face lighted up and happiness shown on it, clearly stating Ivy loves muffins, moreso chocolate.

Wolfe saw as he was nibbling on her bread. He could tell she was hungry. When someone was as hungry all the time as he was, you learn to tell when people were hungry. However, as he looked over her food choices he could tell she was more interesting in sweets then in eating to get full, but then again he had no room to speak. She did have a god amount of food in front of her, and he was really bad at judging how much a normal person could eat, let alone a girl of her age and size. Wolfe decided that if she was hungry after she was done they could just order her more food. Wolfe looked up from his food as he spoke "Ohh, I see. So i guess you must have just finished a job. As for a few days off, i understand the desire to take a few days to yourself. To be honest, this is my version of a time off. i just eatat different places in towns i visit." Wolfe took another bit of his food as he watched her unwrap and eat a muffin.

Ivy looked at Wolfe with a bit of shock. "Well I didn't finish a job. I just ranked up recently, and I'm going back to my house to celebrate with my sister." Ivy wasn't shocked at just about anything Wolfe said, except the fact that he just assumed she'd be between jobs. There was no way to tell when someone was between jobs or just finished one, of course by assuming that because she had free time this does give somewhat of an explanation for why he would think this, but you still can't see that someone finished something with a glance. This is what Ivy thought about when he mentioned it, just pulling up next to useless info in her head, for useless information always was her curse.

Wolfe watched as he continued to eat ans she explained about her rank up. Wolfe smiled at her "Congratulations, I am happy to hear that, and i see. That is a good way to celebrate something like that. With family or with those you hold close. On that note, i never really did get a chance to get to know you last time we worked together. Honestly we kind of just parted way quickly. i know both of us had our things to do. So if you don't mind me asking. What is your sister like? and i am assuming your close to her?" Wolfe didn't know what it was like to have family so it was nice to hear that Ivy had some, and from what he was guessing the were kind of close. Wolfe continued to eat from his plate as he waited to her a little bit more about Ivy.

Ivy looked up, obviously in thought.

"Uhm well she is really strict... But she can be really nice! She does just about whatever I ask as long as it doesn't break the rules, and she always has a warm attitude towards me. But if I do something wrong she can be really mean... Plus she really REALLY upholds the rules. Otherwise my sis is really fun too! But she worries too much also." Ivy nodded as she finished her muffin, and then eating the brownie in a matter of 5 bites. When she finished she looked at the other chocolate things and decided she could eat them later, and then pushed them aside so she could focus on Wolfe.

Wolfe listened as Ivy explained the different traits of her sister, and from what he heard she sounded like a good person and a good older sister if nothing else. Wolfe just smiled and nodded his head a little after she was finished talking "She sounds like a good older sister. and who could blame her for worrying? her little sister is a mage, and doing jobs to top that off. Even the simplest of jobs have some inherent danger to them, so it would make sense for her to worry. Just make sure you don't give her any extra reason to worry. I bet the Holidays are a blast huh?" Wolfe was happy for Ivy. She had a caring older sister, and no one should have to live alone at her age. Wolfe knew that better then most, he wasn't but maybe a year or so older then Ivy when he was forced to live on his own and deal with the harsh world alone. He wore the scars of his past, so he hoped better for others. It was a relief to hear Ivy had somewhere, and someone to go home to.

Ivy giggled to the response that Wolfe gave. "Well I always come home after jobs, so I dunno why she worries! But as for holidays it's not more than me and my sis eating her world famous sticky buns and talking to one another. Sounds boring but I can be really fun! Plus she only makes those sticky buns on holidays and they're really good!" Ivy stared up at the sky, as her mouth began to water and a tiny bit of drool went down her lip onto her face. Immediately noticing and fearing embarrassment Ivy wiped it off and looked away, as if it never happened.

Wolfe listened to her explain about her sister's sticky buns and how good they were. It almost made Wolfe want some which made Wolfe laugh a little to himself. He then watched as she zoned out and started drooling on herself a little. Wolfe couldn't help but let out a little laugh, then a second later she seemed to return back to their realm and wiped the drool away and she acted like nothing had happened. Wolfe couldn't help but smile. To him it was very nice to see a young person like her with things to look forward to and enjoying herself. Once again Wolfe couldn't help but think back and wondered what he would have been like if he would of had a life like her's. However, before he could let his mind wander he stopped that train of thought from even leaving the station. The past was just that and there was no reason to think of things that could have been.

Wolfe took another bite of his food as he spoke up again "So what else has been up Ivy? besides sisters, yummy sticky buns, and ranking up, which by the way congrats again on that." Wolfe asked as he was interested in what she had been up to.

"Mmm.... Not much. I ranked up like I said by taking a test, and I went on a few jobs before ranking up. I haven't really been doing anything but staying at the guild hall, and sometimes walking around cities. Pretty boring... But that's why I'm going home soon!" Ivy nodded to Wolfe, then picked up her blade which was at her side. "I also got this!" Ivy raised the Shortsword to be seen better, as it had little ridges and was serated. She flicked her wrist and it changed into a whip, with a ton of different blades all over it. With another flick of the wrist it changed back and Ivy stored it away. "So what was up with you?"

Wolfe watched as Ivy pulled out her new weapon and showed it to Wolfe. It was a nice little sword, but he had to smirk when she turned it into whip form. He had heard of something like it before, but he had never seen one before. He knew it could be a deadly weapon, but it would take a very long time to master it right. It had lots of uses and it was very versatile, but it also had just as many ways to hurt it's wielder. Wolfe hoped she would be able to get it fast before she had a chance to really hurt herself.

Wolfe heard as she asked what he was up to, he laughed a little as he answered "Not too much actually, just getting around and trying new foods at any city that i can get to, and doing a few small jobs. Besides that not a whole lot... Wolfe was cut off right there by a voice "Ohhh i see how it is you douche. you don't even mention me you ass!" Wolfe just lowered his head and shock it back and forth a little as he felt the weapon on his back move. He went to move his hand back to stop it but it was too late and it threw itself off of his back and onto the ground and moved around a little bit before it started to morph and then it was in it's normal state, a small lightning elemental. It moved over towards Ivy and stopped about a foot from her and raised it's hand and spoke "Hey, whats up? name is Loki. and i am whats up" The elemental seemed slightly cocky as he spoke. Wolfe just face palmed as he didn't even know what to say at that point.

Ivy giggled when she heard the voice. It was adorable, the way he mocked Wolfe and Ivy just thought it was funny. She had saw the little weapon emerge and thought she was going to greet it well until she got a better look at its true form.

Ivy recognized it as a lightning spirit, or a lightning elemental. She had read about it in one of Nunzia's books... And immediately thought it to be the stuff of nightmares. Ivy already had the crippling fear of lightning, and to condense itself into one living entity would be hell for her. Not to mention in the book Ivy read about them, they're normally much like their fire spirit/elemental cousins and are ruthless, hot-headed, and all around begging for a fight. Why couldn't spirits and elementals be like the water and earth ones? So calm and serene.

Ivy stared at it for two seconds wide-eyed. She couldn't say a word, until the image went into her mind of it trying to attack her, and immediately went with the assumption it would. She now, after the first ten seconds muffled a loud scream into a tiny one with her hands, and jumped back onto the railing of the patio with the balance of a dancer. She began screaming at it, gasping for air between words and phrases.

"GET *gasp* IT *gasp* AWAY *gasp* FROM *gasp* ME!!!" upon the "me" Ivy threw her hands to the side, and shot a great stream of holy wind at the small being from her mouth, unleashing her most powerful spell at the time with enough force to demolish a house, the spell Sky Demon's Rage, or the equivelant of Sky Dragon's/God's Roar/Bellow.
