Tane smiled at the ‘recruits’ that she was here to train. Some looked like they were ready to begin the training session while the others looked either bored or tired or sleepy or all three. Out of all the recruits, one of them smiled back, which was not very nice of the rest, but she did not mind. Her job here was to teach them the basic understandings of magic, not socialize, although she preferred the latter. “I am Tane, it is nice to meet you all,” she spoke in a voice loud enough for all of them to hear. She had already begun, not waiting for anyone to tell her to. After all, this was her class. She reminisced about the teachings of Ganymede. She was going to have to do it that way. She had never watched a human teach another human so she was going to have to teach it the Fismuthian way. 156/150 1/5 |

Re: Training the Newbs {Job|Solo}
It was ten in the morning, which was a good time since the humans would have woken up and freshened up. They would also have had time to get themselves to actually wake up. Tane, on the other hand, was completely awake. She required less sleeping time than humans. In fact, she only napped. In Fismuth, naps were taken when one needed energy, but here, it seemed to be a regular thing. And thus, Tane decided to take her naps when the human world was less active. Of course there were animals that only went out for food or basically are just active. Humans called them ‘nocturnal’ creatures, and those that are active in the day ‘diurnal’. These were relatively new terms to the Prestigious. Where she came from, they did not classify beings by the time they are active. Humans had either too much time to come up with silly ideas or were just silly in general. 158/150 2/5 |

Re: Training the Newbs {Job|Solo}
Tane’s latest observation during the training session was that half of the recruits were not paying the least bit of attention to her, which of course she did not mind. She would only report this to an authority later after she had finished with what she had to teach. According to her calculation, the training session would end just before human lunchtime, which was twelve in the afternoon. She would speak in the tone of a master, the one she remembered Ganymede used...though it was just his normal tone. Maybe he was born to be a teacher. She could not tell. It was the same tone for him all the time. Ganymede was different however. He showed no emotion, no sympathy for Tane. His job was to train, not babysit, and he knew this well, took this a little bit too seriously. He probably thought Tane was a robot as well. 152/150 3/5 |

Re: Training the Newbs {Job|Solo}
It was already eleven thirty on the clock now. Tane felt like she needed an energy booster herself. Not the kind to relieve stress. The kind that would make her slightly more active. With the passive vibe she was receiving from her trainees, she could not help but feel very bored as well. She would continue speaking, however, asking surprise questions to some of those who seemed to have their minds elsewhere. Of course this happened. She was sure, after some observations, that the average human attention span was no longer than ten minutes. And in that ten minute period, they would either be thinking of other things or staring at something they randomly found interesting. Tane was different. She could pay attention to something for as long as she wished. It was a Prestigious thing. Even though she was prone to getting bored, paying attention was not something she had trouble doing. It was as easy a task as blinking. 161/150 4/5 |

Re: Training the Newbs {Job|Solo}
The training session finally came to an end. Apparently, the recruits were more relieved than she was. Why were they relieved? They had barely anything to worry about. Well, at least that was what Tane thought they were feeling after hearing the sighs that she heard from them. She had noted this as an action done when someone was tired or bored or relieved. For some reason, she chose the emotion of relief in this case. It was relieving to her anyway. The person who had appointed her to do the teaching came forward, holding something in his hands. Money. Not again. What was wrong with humans? Why did each and every one of them thought that money was the most appropriate sign of appreciation? Why was it a payment of gratitude? She would have been just fine with a polite ‘thank you’ or something like that. She could not not accept it now. She was too tired of trying to refuse the wish of humans and so she weakly grabbed the cash and shoved it in her pockets before lazily floating away. 183/150 5/5 |
