Description: Shadow King magic is a lost magic that lets the user utilize and control shadows. Although this magic lets the user control shadows it has some limits. The user can not control shadows that are over their rank and if they use the shadows of another person they cannot use it to hurt them. Shadow king magic is a form of pure darkness that can be used for good and evil; It really just depends on how the user decides to use it because they can either use it to kill people or they can use it to help people that are in need. This magic also comes with a evil side of the person that comes out when they almost lose the battle although the person can learn to control it better and only bring them out when they really need them.
Lance chooses to use this magic for good.
When he was training his magic in Era a while back Lance discovered a whole new side to his magic. Although the magic can be quite frightening at times when Lance uses it there really is nothing to be afraid of unless you are the one he is going after, if that is so then you should be scared. Lance uses a lot of hand motions when using this new side of his magic making him have more control over the magic and his other side. Seeing as his body is made of shadows it is hard for people to hit him physically
Strengths:
- Lance is able to utilize and control shadows of any rank unless the rank is higher than him.
- Lance's body is made out of shadows making a person his rank or lower unable to hit him physically.
- Darkness: Lance's magic gets 20% stronger when it is dark in the place he is fighting.
Weaknesses:
- Light magic does an extra C-rank damage to him.
- Shadow Slayers can eat his magic.
- Lance gets out of breath after each fight.
- If Lance gets mad enough he can easily attack recklessly which means he could easily get more hurt.
Lineage:
Maelstrom
Description: One of your many, many ancestors was an experienced and renowned sailor. The reason he was so good with the water was because he was also a master water mage, being able to literally "push" even the biggest of whirlpools aside to another area to make way for his ship, the S.S. Maelstrom. He was respected by every other sailor who knew of such feats and perished along with his sinking ship, as he waited for the rest of his crew to escape the quickly falling boat first, a true captain's death.
Ability: The user of this lineage is able to move any water spell up to A-Rank aside, effectively making it impossible to hit under normal circumstances. Also, the user of this lineage gains an ten percent weakness to earth magic.
Usage: User gains a ten percent weakness to earth magic, regardless of their magic. This ability can only be used once per thread.
Unique Abilities:
- Darkness Power: When in the dark, Lance’s Physical and Magical strength is stronger by 10%
- Shadow Usage: Lance can control any random shadow and the shadows of mages lower than his rank. Does not include Shadows from spells.
- Health Regen: When Lance touches shadows he can heal himself back up. Every post he touches a Shadow he can heal up to a D-rank Damage which he can do once every 10 posts.
- Shadow Awakening: When Lance is mad, Releases all the shadows in him, or he has too many feelings built up he will go into “Awakened Mode”. When he enters Awakened Mode he creates a link connecting the darkness in him and himself. The higher the level the stronger he is.
- Levels of the Awakened:
- Level 1: A faint black aura appears around him. Raises magic and physical strength by 5%
Level 2: A red aura joins the black aura. Raises magic and physical strength by 10%
Level 3: Black wisps of shadows start swirling around Lance. Raises magic and physical strength by 15%
Level 4: Lances right eye turns red and his left stays yellow. Raises magic and physical strength by 20%
Level 5: Lance now has shadow horns on the top of his head. Raises magic and physical strength by 25%
Level 6: Lance has developed shadows streaming out the sides of his mouth Raises magic and physical strength by 27%
Level 7: Lance’s left eye now turns red. Raises magic and physical strength by 30%
- Shadow Body: Lances body is made of shadows making it hard for mages lower than his rank to hit him physically. Lance can only turn one part of his body into a shadow at a time so if he gets attacked in two different body parts at once he can only dodge one of those attacks. Lance cannot turn any of his body into a shadow when he is invisible.

Name: Shadow Beam
Rank: D

Description: Lance puts his palms out in front of him and says "Shadow beam" and at first a small ball appears in his hands then it grow bigger and bigger and eventually the ball is massive (Takes place over a time period of 5 seconds in the evening) The ball suddenly shoots back into Lance and then shoots back out in the form of a beam. This attack does a full D-rank damage when hit. The beam will take about 5 seconds to shoot in the day time.
Strengths:- This beam can shoot 10 feet in front of Lance
- The Darker it is the faster the beam shoots. If it is night time the beam will shoot immediately.
- When this beam hits someone it keeps going and goes through a wall but does not destroy it.
Weaknesses:- This beam will hurt everything including allies if they are in front of him.
- If it is day time it takes about 10 seconds to gather up all the shadows to make the ball and another 5 for the thing to beam to come out.
- Any sort of light or holy magic can negate the shadow beam
- When hit by the same rank magic it causes a big explosion of a mix between shadows and what ever magic it collided with.

Description: Lance closes his eyes and puts his fists at his side. He takes a deep breath and clenches his hands as he thinks about the Wolves of the forest and the tigers of the jungle. Claws pop out of his hands and they are dripping with poison. The claws have and shadowy aura around them making them look like shadows. Lance lunges forward and tries to cut people with them. The poison on the claws only poisons people to the point where they can't fight anymore but does not kill them. When cut by these claws they do a half D-rank damage per hit. He can hit two times with these claws per post. They poison also does a half a D-rank damage per post.
Strengths:- Poisons: these claws poison foes badly
- Swiftness: Lance can attack fast with these claws. He can attack 10% faster than normal with his claws out.
- Powerful: These claws can hurt foes pretty badly when scratched by them.
Weaknesses:- Distance: Lance can only attack close distance. The attack doesn't work ranged.
- Space: Lance cannot unsheathe his claws if something is wrapped around his arms or hands.
- Break: The claws can break when hit by a C-rank or higher attack.
- Can't touch anyone but enemies: Lance touch anyone but enemies seeing as the claws are dripping with poison.
Name: Shadow Ball

Description: Lance puts one palm out and shoots four shadow balls out that act as a homing missile to the opponent and when they hit they cause a small explosion doing D-rank damage along with it. Each ball does 0.25 damage when they hits an opponent (Dealing a full D-rank if they all hit). These shadows travel at a speed of 20 MPH
Strengths:- Homing Missile: The Shadows follow that target until they are either blocks or they hit.
- Time to plan: Lance is able to plan his next attack while the enemy is focused on the shadows.
- Several shots: Lance shoots seven shadow balls out of his hand.
Weaknesses:- Blocked: Can be blocked easily by a spell any rank higher than D.
- Space and explosions: Lance has a better chance of getting more successful shots if he is closer in range but when the balls explode they also do a D-ranked damaged to him if he is close ranged.
- Speed: If the opponent if faster than the balls they can outrun them.
- Timing: If the balls don't hit within a time limit of 5 minutes the balls die out and the shadows return to Lance.

Description: Lance pinches the air and brings both his hands back as shadows for into the shape of a sharp disk and then he flings it at the opponent. The two disks fly at a speed of 30 MPH at them and when they hit they makes a cut where they hit and they also go back and hover around the opponent so each time they move they get another cut. These disks can be broken by a strike of any sword. If ALL of the disks Cut they do a full D-rank damage (0.25 per single cut). These disks multiply by one every post and can get up to four by the end of the spell.
Strengths:- Speed: These disks fly at faster speeds than normal disks seeing as they are made of shadows.
- Multiply: It starts out at two but at the end of the spell it could get up to 4.
- Surround: These disks surround the opponent so every time they try to make a spell they can get cut. These disks will keep trying to cuts the opponent until they finish the spell or they quit trying to cast it.
Weaknesses:- Easily broken: These disks are broken by a simple swipe of a strong weapon or if they cut strong armor. They can also be broken if they are hit with a C-ranked spell or lower.
- Easily dodged: If they are fast enough the opponent can dodge the disks and not get cut or surrounded by them.
- Can cut anyone: These disks cut the first person they touch. The first person they cut gets surrounded whether or not Lance was aiming the spell at them or not.
- Goes in a straight line: The disks fly in a perfect straight line only breaking it when they cut someone and surround them. So if the enemy even moves a step out of the line the disks don't change.

Description: Lance Crosses his arms and closes his eyes and when he opens them shadows flow in and appear behind Lance in the form of a sword. This sword flies forward and separate into 5 swords which spread across the field in a 5 miles radius and stab random people. These sword do a Full D-rank to each person they stab. Each sword can only hit one person if there are more that one person on a battle field. If there is only one person on the battle field the attack is weakened and they all add up to a single D-rank damage (Each sword does a total of 0.20 percent damage if one person is on the field)
Strengths:- Multiple swords: Because there are 5 swords each time they stab someone it does a full D-rank damage making it able to inflict 5 full D-rank damages if every sword hits.
- Large swords: The swords are about 90 inches long making them able to hit more accurately.
- Planning: Gives Lance time to get away or plan his next attack.
Weaknesses:- Easy to Block: Seeing as the swords are D-rank they can be broken by a C-rank or higher spell and a Strong weapon.
- AoE: Since the swords go all around Lance and stab anyone they can find in a radius of 4 miles they even attack allies.
- Lance loses a little bit of breath after using this attack.
- Lance can't use this spell if his opponent is a reequip or a light mage.
Name: Shadow Walker

Description: Lance puts his hood on and gets enveloped in shadows. He is now unseen by everyone except people with really good eyesight. He can only walk around with this and sneak around but he cannot attack with it. There is no way to go visible, attack, then go invisible again.
Strengths:- Invisibility - Lance can turn invisible and be unseen
- Sneaky - being invisible lets him be able to sneak around and stuff
- Hard to hit - Not being able to be seen means that he will be hard to hit.
Weaknesses:- Cannot attack - Lance cannot attack while in this state.
- Not totally invisible - Although he cannot be seen anyone above his rank can sense a shadowy presence.
- Paralyze - If Lance does get hit while in this state he cannot use any magic for the next 3 posts
- Breath - Lance is out of breath and moves slower for the next post he does.

Description: Lance becomes encased in shadows. Once the shadows dissipate he becomes a look a like of someone. To turn into someone he has to see them at least once and have heard them talk once. The look a like is exact (Lance now looks and talks like them as well). Although it only lasts for as short time there are some downsides to it... Lance cannot use their magic. .
Strengths:- Sneaky - Lance can pretend to be an exact copy of them and blame them for stuff.
- Hard to tell the difference - It is hard to tell the difference between the original and the fake one.
- Playful - Lance can pull jokes on people by switching into them.
Weaknesses:- Cannot use their magic - While in this state Lance cannot use the persons magic.
- Cannot use magic - Lance cannot use magic while in this state.
- Can be hit - He can still get hurt while in this state
- Short time - Although its fun it only lasts for a short time
- This beam can shoot 10 feet in front of Lance

- Name: Shadow Twister
Rank: C

Description: Lance gets burst into the air in a twister of shadows. Lance then controls the twister to go over to any area. The twister pick up anyone and anything in its path. The opponent flies up so high that when they hit the ground it causes a C-rank damage.
Strengths:- Control - Lance can control the Twister well.
- Speed - The twister travels up to speeds of 20 MPH.
- Blowing - The twister can lift people up and drop them back down.
Weaknesses:- Wind - Wind magic can blow the twister away.
- Light - Light magic can blow it away
- Breath - Lance is out of breath after this happens.
- Short time - This spell only lasts for a short time.
Name: Shadow Whips

Description: Lance closes his hands as whip like shapes appear in both of them. With these he is able to hit people for a C-rank damage each hit or he can pull them closer. The whips are made of solid shadow and extend to 20 inches long.
Strengths:- The whips are long (20 feet) and can extend up to their full potential (20 feet)
- The whips are strong enough to do a C-rank damage.
- They can travel at speeds up to 40 MPH.
Weaknesses:- The whips will not work on mages with light magic.
- The Whips cannot extend over 20 feet.
- The whips cannot be used for deflecting others attacks.
- If hit with a B-rank or higher spell the whips will break.
Name: Shadow Shield

Description: Lance places his hand on the ground and closes his eyes. He imagines a wall blocking a strong storm from getting to him. A wall appears in front of Lance or anyone he chooses and is able to block up to 2 C-rank spell. The wall is 10 feet high and 10 feet in length.
Strengths:- Can block up to 2 C-rank spell
- Doesn't effect the users breathing
- The wall is really big (Stated how high inside of the description
Weaknesses:- Can break when hit by any A-rank or higher spell.
- Cannot block spells that use light.
- Any Fire spells also dispel the shield.
- Once the third C-rank or higher spell hits the shield bursts and the people behind the shield get hit full on.
- Control - Lance can control the Twister well.

- Name: Shadow Drill

Description: Lance aims one palm at the enemy and a tiny needle tip of shadows comes out of his hand. It progressively turns in a clockwise position until Lance has a giant shadow drill ranging at a radius of 25 feet and a length of 6 feet is coming out of his hand. He is able to shoot the drill at the enemy at speeds of 10 MPH. Getting hit with the Drill does a B-rank damage
Strengths:- When it his enemies in the area it keeps going. After it hits the enemies they will be stuck on it until they reach 30 miles from the original shot.
- The drill is giant.
- The drill can be shot at high speeds.
Weaknesses:- Once shot the drill can only go in the direction it was shot.
- Cannot be shot more than 30 miles in front of Lance
- Lance will be knocked on his butt when it is shot.
- Lance cannot use the spell if his hands are tied.
Name: Shadow Punch

Description: Lance’s fists get encased in shadows and he can then punch at the same speeds as normal and all his other stats are normal except his punches now do a B-rank damage and cause a D-Rank damage explosion when something is hit.
Strengths:- Can punch and explode.
- Can be used to move stuff out of the way or defeat things.
- The explosion can knock people back.
Weaknesses:- Doesn't really improve any stats except punching.
- Lance’s punches are only as fast as he himself can punch.
- Lance’s hands will hurt after the spell.
- Can’t use spell if hands are tied.
Name: Shadow hand

Description: At the Sacrifice of 15 HP, Lance’s hand turns pure black as it gets covered in shadows. He is able to touch an enemy anywhere on their body and they will have shadows sucked into them. From that post on the shadows that have entered their body will twist and turn around the heart and the other things inside the body until either the person passes out, or Lance calls the spell off. The first post he casts the spell he will do 1 B-rank damage in total. Each post after that will do a 0.5 B-rank damage to the target.
Strengths:- Does high damage.
- Can easily pass someone out if set up right.
- hard to dodge if not seen coming.
Weaknesses:- Hurts himself as well.
- Cannot use if hand is tied
- Can accidentally bump into a teammate or an ally.
- Lance’s hands will hurt after the spell is done.
- When it his enemies in the area it keeps going. After it hits the enemies they will be stuck on it until they reach 30 miles from the original shot.
