Name: Kranzer, Tristan
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birthday: February 29
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: His left shoulder is covered in scars from a severe burn he received as a child that stretch all the way down to his left hand. His back is marred by a myriad of scars, seemingly from being whipped but he never speaks about them.
Personality: Tristan can be a rather complex individual at times. He’s not always outspoken and always prefers to stay at the back of the group when talking is involved. However, when it push comes to shove he is above all else a man of action. Always one to get into a fight Tristan usually ends up in one touchy situation after another; which is why it has always been difficult for him to find a place where he fits in. When he does talk he more often than naught speaks whatever is on his mind so he can come off as rather harsh to those who don’t know him very well. He’s not always quick to resort to violence but if he feels threatened he’s never one to back down. Unless he has a very good reason to do so that is. When he makes friends it’s usually for life. He tends to be fiercely loyal and always does everything in his power to keep true to his word. Tristan isn’t good natured by any stretch. He just feels that if he says something he should stick to it, or simply not say anything at all.
In battle Tristan tends to be both fierce and decisive. Due to his violent nature he can appear rather reckless at times. In truth he really is and he tends to be rather excessive. For Tristan there is no such thing as overkill. He simply uses the amount of force he deems necessary to see an obstacle removed from his path. Due to this reckless behavior he tends to pay very little heed to caution or the amount of magical energy he wastes on his various spells. By no means is he a leader. If he’s given leave to lead he’ll sooner leave his followers behind and strike out at the target alone. When it comes to following orders the situation becomes a tad more difficult. If the leader is someone Tristan views either with respect or as being strong then he’ll adhere to their orders. If the person is neither, well they may as well try holding their breath. Otherwise they will just be wasting precious air. When he works as a team he has a remarkable sense for attuning with others and focusing on one target rather than multiple. He also seems much more susceptible to orders from women than from men.
Tristan is very much a break whatever is in front of him before moving on to the next target kind of guy. When he does attack someone his attacks are usually brutal and excessive. He views battle as a contest of strength so he sees absolutely no need to hold back. Not even to prevent from killing his opponent. In his mind if the opponent dies then they were just too weak and should have just stayed out of his way to begin with. The only exception to this would be if he viewed his opponent as a friend. It is one of the few rare occasions that he will actually hold back.
Likes:
- Strength: There're aren't many things in the world that Tristan respects more than strength. It takes a strong individual to truly cull him into servitude. It was due to the weakness he felt under the lash from his father that implanted this hunger for strength and to gravitate towards those who are strong.
- The Moon: Its at night that Tristan truly feels at peace. The ache in his shoulder and the warmth of the scarred flesh is filled with a soothing sensation as he is bathed in the pale light cast down from the moon. Its the invigorated feeling, the sharpened senses, and the feeling of euphoria that accompanies is frequent forays out into the midst of the night that has developed his infatuation with the planet's natural satellite. He's especially fond of those nights that boast a full moon.
- Fighting: It isn't until he's in the midst of a tough fight that he truly feels alive; when that empty feeling in the pit of his stomach is transformed into a fiery passion.
Dislikes:
- Male authority figures who have violent tendencies: When he was just a child his father had the tendency to punish him severely either with a leather strap or with fire magic. Since then he's developed a severe distaste for any man with an aggressive authority complex.
- Children: It's not that Tristan hates kids. He was just viewed as being weak when he was a child and since then he attributes children to being weak. Not to mention they have a way of being extremely loud and disruptive. He prefers to avoid them altogether.
- Pity: Tristan does not like being pitied or looked down on. He especially detests anyone who insists on showing concern over the numerous scars that mark his body.
Motivations:
- Strength: Tristan wants nothing more than to be strong. He doesn't care if others recognize his strength because all he has to do is to beat them into the ground to make them acknowledge it. Only the opinion of one man matters for Tristan; the opinion of his father. The very man who tormented him through his childhood yet lives.
- Revenge and Patricide: It's a long standing goal of Tristan's actually. He will never truly see himself as the strongest until he stands over the broken and battered body of his father. That moment where he watches the last traces of life as if they were fleeting memories that drain from that man's eyes is one of the main reasons he gets out of bed every day.
- Find a Place he can belong: While he keeps up a tough exterior, deep down Tristan truly wants to find a place he can call home. He'll never admit it to others let alone to himself. For this to work he'd have to recognize the others as being truly strong before he could be content with it.
Fears:
- Fire; both mundane and magical: His father was a user of fire magic. Due to some unfortunate events of his childhood Tristan is gripped by fear in the presence of fire. If pressed too far he can descend into a berserk-like rage and lash out at anyone or anything. There will never be an instance where he uses fire magic; unless its in a Full takeover.
- Deep Water: Tristan suffers from a mild case of hydrophobia. He never learned how to swim when he was younger, so whenever he is around water that'd go over his head he gets extremely agitated. He'll do his best to stay out of the water, but he's not paralyzed by fear at the sight of it or anything.
- His Father: While he harbors an intense hatred for his father and dreams of killing the man one day he is still deathly afraid of the man.
General Appearance
Height: 6'5
Weight: 200 lbs
Hair: Light brown kept trimmed but with a slight unkempt look to it
Eyes: Hazel
Skin Tone: Lightly tanned
Appearance:
Tristan appears to be in his late teens rather than his early twenties. His face is rather unmarked despite the violent lifestyle he lives. With a tall figure one might expect the young man to have a full figure, however his body is more lithe than bulky. It allows him to be remarkably swift for his size. His light brown hair is kept cut to a medium length but there was always an unruly look to it. He rarely bothered with combing it so it was always unkempt. Rings of hazel hugged his pupils and his eyes would radiate a light goldish hue if the light hit them just right.
Normally Tristan wears similar outfits. No matter what he always wears black; loose fitting black trousers pulled low over a pair of black boots. His long sleeved shirt was kept unbuttoned about a third of the way down. Due to the scars on his left hand Tristan always wears a pair of gloves to keep that fact concealed. A brown leather belt is usually wrapped around his waist with a small back attached to the back of it. It's only large enough to store smaller items in and nothing larger than a book. Due to his agile build his face tends to be rather narrow with a slight point to his chin.

Tattoo: The crimson guild mark (when he has one) will be printed on his chest right over his heart.
