"Someone call Housekeeping?~" [Solo/Job]

The handicapped mage traversed the occupied and lively streets of clover. Out again, she was here on another a job. Honestly Roya didn’t know what had gotten into her? Was it that she was on the motivated side this week? Or maybe she was just in need of the additional cash in her pocket to be able to  get around but she hadn’t stopped running out on these petite little jobs…Fist she found herself stealing recipe, babysitting,… molding… and now? The word sent shivers down her spine. “Housekeeping…”

Gently swaying down the next corner, she spotted a little white house at the right of the street with the letters 299 engraved next to its door way. Roya approached.

She found herself stepping up the landing to the house, the house matching address on the job request in her hands. Before she could even hit the bell they came rushing to the door, swinging it open… must of heard her coming

Invited inside, The dark mage met with the young woman who had originally filed in the job to magi and wizard guilds. Roya had a quick check in with her. The woman was a cute strawberry blonde with wide glimmering eyes, the color of wheat. Honestly, she couldn’t be any older then seventeen, probably living on her own.

Roya only had three things to worry about while the youngster was away for a personal day today: according to her and the job at least. The roof, which leaked…a few pesky house flies…She was also advised to watch out for the neighbor’s dog whom liked to get out. The job would be a piece of cake… The buxom woman nodded to her client, wishing her off for the rest of the day. As soon as the door shut, Roya planted her one arm at her hip, spinning around to taking the sight of her client’s home, an already rather tidy and generally organized place.

The fire mage wasted no time getting to work. She moved to rummage around the house, smacking around at those flys as they landed her and buzzed at her ears… She fileted through all the clients drawers, cabinets, cupboards, boxes until she found the things she was looking for (after like two hours of looking that was.)

She finally paraded back into the living room, fetching duct tape, flypaper and a swatter in her hand, cradling them up to her chest. The mage followed the random buckets of water across the floor, used to catch the leak drips, up to the source as she began ripping up swatches of the duct tape. With this, se laid them over the holes across the ceiling, gathering u the no longer necessary buckets and dumping the contents down the sink.
When Roya returned again she began hanging the paper around, letting it hang in long curing tendrils from the ceiling. She also felt it would be a good idea to open up those windows, let some of those bugs out.

Before Roya could much as take a breather, she heard a noise from through those now wide-open windows. A loud, shrill, and high barking met her ears… no…that couldn’t be the dog that she was talking about! Roya bolted out the front door to check-and it certainly was
Damn… it was… In the lawn next door there the little rascal was, chasing birds and running rodents up trees. Roya ran over there only for the pooch to scamper off at the sight of her. She caught herself chasing him in circles, across the road, through backyards until evidentially the rascal had gotten himself cornered against a fence.

She yelped feeling jaws sink into her hand…He bit her!!! and now he couldn’t let off… damn that hurt… now he was slobbering and growling through his teeth against her palm “Bitch!” she merely cursed as she  tried to pry the pooch off but to no avail. It was later that she returned the wild animal to the neighbor, its teeth still stuck in her hand.

By the time Roya had finished having the mutt removed from her now gauzed hand the fly paper was practically loaded and the tape was holding up nicely. She nodded to herself. It had been cake, well except for the dog running fest but aside from that all she did was hang some sticky paper up and slap some duct tape on a few leaks

She moved to close up those windows only to see her client walking up to the door. The strawberry blonde was pleased with the raven haired and bandage clad mages work. She apologized for the bite that the dog had inflicted, gently caressing and shaking the girl’s hand. Roya smirked subconsciously as she handed her the reward money… an awful lot for a few mundane tasks. Regardless, Roya accepted without question prior to making her way down that door and down the streets in the directions of the towns station, she should have to head back to Tartarus before long.
