Because she does things her own way, evidently means she has never once relied on anybody, or really, has had nobody to ever rely on. Illia, her father's second creation, and her brother, describes Evelyn as rebellious and loner-prone - opposed to the way she was as a child. Her sour and pessimistic attitude is what precisely left a name on the family of Corenglaw, consistently going out of her way to point out the bad in things, or the negative ascepts in ideas or layouts of plans - rather than going about it the more positive and kinder way. The overwhelming temper and distressing power that frequently anguishes the family was only first experienced through her first millennium, regarding how effortlessly with the sway of her own hands to which would only cause many deaths. Because of this, Evelyn rigidly believes that nothing good will ever come her way, nor will anything good happen too her. Forcing herself not to hope for anything that is non-existent. And additonally, urging a purpose distance. In-fact, Evelyn goes out of her way to get others to hate her, belitting them with a cold or rude behaviour that either, makes those hate her, or want to kill her - which usually works in her wish to be kept at distance from others. But, if forced into social interaction, she usually feels as if she is a hindirance, since, her evident mistakes in angering or embarrassing her father have of course, kneaded those words into her mind, therefore avoiding others out of mer concern. She even goes as far as to believe that she is insignificant, willing to take on blames, no matter how large, to keep those around her happy and hopefully normal. Even though, taking on the stress and hurt onto her own self for the sake of others only hurts those who are aware of her true intentions, she sees no need to burden over any of it. And with that, she refuses to change her ways, especially if it means the continuance of angering her father.   Her personality stems from her child-hood, where her ditzy behaviour and mistakes became a joke amoung her family and the other deities hidden within the world. Which in turn has led her into blaming society for how she acts, rather than herself. Because she was so weak, and clumsy, her father did not have as much patience for her as her brother, Illia, who overwhelmed Evelyn in power. But, her brother was not as rebellious or couragous as his sister, and therefore, she took the burdens of his mistakes onto her own, because, to her, she herself was already a mistake. As a first reflex of a typical loner, she consistently denies all invitations and avoids engaging in all social events as much as she possibly can. Because her divinely being practically screams out - "look at me" - its a bit of nuisance when she yearns to blend in with human society. Despite her so called rotten attitude she has evidently been exposed with unvieling sparks of kindness underneath her exterior, shown in multiple cases and methods she goes through for the lengths of protecting other people. However, this always seems to end in the case of only getting herself hurt, shattering relationships or harming her own emotional heart with nothing but a dull expression to conceal it. But, she is mostly self-oriented, and hence, she is not bothered by anything as long as those somewhat close to her, do not get hurt, and she reaches her desired results. Evelyn grew up alone. Her father was busy, Illia was more appealed through matters while her very existence was regularly concealed from the display of others. Because of this, she never knew how to rely on anybody, and still does not. She even does not understand the feelings of others as she judges by reasoning alone. Evelyn may express herself as a dense person, but, it is actually just a facade to avoid any hard feelings from her harsh experience with her unwanted past. Just like the family, they have a peculiar sense of pride, therefore arousing the refusal of pity or sympathy each and every time it has assumed to come their way.  appearance

extra info Height:  5'0 Weight:  127lbs Hair color:  White, faint blonde Eye color:  Pinkish red Skin tone:  Healthy pale likes: plushies - no reason behind it, evelyn has just always had a soft spot for the adorable shapes and combinations of these stuffed items. cats - all the feline species, wether it be her divine blood, these alluring creatures have been the most gentle and loving towards her, grasping her heart innocently and secretively between the desolated times of being the only company she had. observing - it is the only thing she does, and the only thing she would rather enjoy while utterly isolated. because she herself after many years, and still today, does not comprehend human life that much, she finds it fascinating that even from a distance she can witness many things she would have not before. dislikes: "nice people" - when you are sensitive on a topic, and try to handle it in a kind and distressful way, it highly irritates the girl. she believes that you should just be blunt and honest, rather than concealing your true feelings with the worry to harm others. additionally, she also hates it when those go out of their way to sympathize her or pity her aswell. hot-headed people - coming from a family where magical power is so intense that is like a girl having her time of the month, irks evelyn the most when she encounters people outside of that chain. those that yearn for a fight out of mer aimlessness but the thrill of excitement make her want to curl her lips back in utter disgust. storms - when you are the mistake created within one, it is only natural that you would come to loathe it each and everytime one gradually appears. motivations: to be recognized - to her view, her father views her as no more than a nuisance. a weak little girl that was made by the mer flick of a finger and the heat of rage. she hopes, or wishes, that one day he will finally look her way. power - it is what the family most yearns for, and in turn, it is what evelyn herself urges to seize with her own hands. after millenniums of being looked down on, she only wants to finally earn some respect. experiences - friendship? it would sure be nice to live normally among human kind without harming somebody for once in her life. or at least trying to stick around. fears: corenglaw - her father is the one she fears the most, for he is the one that created her, and therefore, is the one who can also make her disappear. locked away - she fears that oneday, through time, she will be back behind the walls of that royal structure - caged like a helpless bird. the dark - a rather childish fear, but, one that has stayed rooted to herself despite all this time. in battle: she is ruthless, and some would often describe her as a wild beast, thrashing back and forth with absolutely no elegance in the slightest. although it depends on the mer situation, there is never really a moment when evelyn is truly regal. because of her strength, and her form, she is always willing to purposely get hurt if it means protecting others, despite the horrible pain that is precised her way. she will even go as far as to pushing her body to such limits that a mer human being would not even be able to withstand - to the point she passes out or almost risks her life. leadership: none of that. infact, evelyn goes out of her way to avoid forming any direct leader-ship onto herself. because she believes herself to be a nuisance, she likes to do things her own way without screwing up her comrades, or at least not causing them to be harmed in any way. despite this, evelyn actually has much more knowledge and awareness through her time, and is rather embarrassed to interact with others in the form of aiding them in battle - which is something that will not happen right away.
