It was late in the afternoon. Roxas was quite bored and it so seemed that magic was taking the stage of the arena. Various competitors have already had their turn that day, some winning and the others going home in disgust at their lost. Though some were a pitiful site, Roxas was one who'd rather not dwell too much on it, carefully analyzing others for they may be his opponent next. But alas, it was his turn and in due time, it would be revealed that he had not have the chance to acknowledge his opponent's power before the fight.
The announcer of the stadium called forth for his name in the most hyped up attempt he could muster. Snickering at the false try, Roxas would jump from his seat, casting a shadow with the assistance of the sun, over the entire arena, before minimizing it and landing on the floor, exactly 5 meters from the middle of the stage and a whole 10 meters from where his opponent was to be, regardless of who they were. And so he would wait for his opponent, in hopes that he or she would appear.

A long black robe which was moving with the wind, flickering around a figure. A white mask with different symbols on it, shaped with the ears of a bunny. Black gloves covering a set of hands that were hardly visible from the sleeves of the cloak. The backhand of the gloves each had a small metal frame, meant to physically enhance every punch and allow the figure to use them for blocking. Even so, they were merely gloves, and there was nothing magical or special about them. From underneath the mask, a pair of scarlet red eyes were watching him carefully. An arena wasn't exactly her favorite type of fighting place.
Picking up a rock in her hand, she juggled it up and down casually, as she stepped into the arena. There were those who had hired her to teach this enemy a lesson. That was really all there was to it. Make this one person eat his pride raw. There was something strange about his entry and the shadows, but it wasn't something that she could say definitevely. For now, she was merely observing.

Finally, the opponent that Roxas had been waiting for had arrived, though in the most bizarre of entrances. She simply appeared as if melting through a layer one would call space. She simply materialized out of nothingness in an attempt to be something. But as Roxas' absolutely cocky attitude would have it, it was exactly just that. It was an attempt, a fraud. None of which the girl had thought up of can already be processed. No, none. No matter how flexible with her magic this girl was, Roxas was two times better. No matter how strong she planned to be, Roxas was two times better. And no matter what tactics they were to use to ensure this victory...well, the man was two steps ahead. It wasn't at all that he didn't respect her, but in fact the opposite. Roxas' respect for anyone who challenged him, unintentional or not, would provide to be humorous to him, but indeed it was respected. And he only hoped that he wouldn't be looked down upon.
As his victory plans remained intact, he would not hold back, thanking the very lady for giving him the first move upon things. This Field, as the spell was named, would injure all those in its range. And most definitely was this child in his range. Description: Out of sheer will itself, Roxas forms a barrier of some sort. Roxas is able to have everything within 15 meters of himself to be dealt 50% of D-Rank damage per post that they remain in it. The radius of this spell moves as Roxas himself moves.
Strengths:
- This spell cannot be eaten, other than Dual Slayers.
- This spell is highly effective in dealing damage over time.
- This spell has a high range and can effect not only a person but groups as well.
Weaknesses:
- This spell is practically useless if they get out of the range, wasting mana for no usage.
- This spell only affects those on the floor. As a result, by floating or staying off the ground, that person is unaffected.
- This spell does not choose who it targets. Therefore, comrades and enemies will be hit alike.
- This spell doesn't work effectively against those who have a C-Rank defense and up.

The girl felt it immediately. A strange pressence forcing itself onto her. Nudging the rock with a finger, she figured that it was coming from him. This was his way of attacking. Dropping the rock that she had been toying with, it gently nudged her shoulder and landed on the ground between, them, as she retreated backwards immediately, out of this strange zone before it could inflict any lasting damage onto her. Hoping that it was going to drain his energies, all she needed to do was create a space between them, attacking when her opportunity arose.
Tossing her arm forwards, as if launching something, a small bolt of shadows materialised in the air, flying forwards towards her opponent. It was aimed towards his feet, simply to stop him from advancing forwards, creating a lasting space between them. It was all she could do for now, but she soon found herself with her back against the wall. All that the girl could imagine, was that he would attempt to step forwards and zone her further with his strange aura. Yet, with her only ranged attack used, what option did she really have left?

Description: Folding layers upon layers of assassination magic, Xana is capable of creating a short-lived magical dart, meant for throwing at the target. Upon impact, the dart leaves a mark of Aki no Ansatsu.
Strengths:
Precise:
This attack is extremely precise, meaning that th girl could hit an unmoving fly at max range with no problem.
Speed and size:
Because the dart is so small, it moves rather fast and is hard to spot. It flies about as fast as she could throw a similar sized object. (10m/s)
First strike:
The projectile is completely silent, and will not cast a shadow. This makes it perfect for surprise attacks, and virtually undectable when used against someones back.
Weaknesses:
Limited Use:
The dart can only sustain a single shot before dispersing.
Obvious intentions:
Creating a dart out of shadow makes the intent of the technique rather obvious.
Low damage:
The Dart doesn't inflict the full damage of a regular D-rank.
Limited Range:
The dart loses its magical potency rather quickly, making it incapable of travelling further than fifteen meters before dispersing.

Roxas had fun in this ordeal of throwing spells after spells. Well, that wasn't the case for now, but it was going to be. As soon as Roxas had shot his spell in the bag, the female took slight damage, but not enough of what Roxas wished for her to have taken. In addition to that, she would shrink backwards, immediately exiting the range of spell. Because only he could see his spell, it being only transparent to others, he immediately noticed as she took the exit. This puts her at the brink of 15 meters of Roxas. At this rate, his spell wouldn't be effective, if so at all. And as a result, he would close the range once more, running at speeds of 7 meters per second, stopping so again she was 10 meters of him, all in a matter of 0.7 seconds. But neither the man nor the woman decided to stop there. As soon as he arrived only slightly before she did, she formed some with her hands. The very moment she threw them up, he knew only trouble lurked. As a result, he move 0.5 meters to the left. This would indeed dodge her attack as soon as she shot it outwards. The reason being is it was no bigger than something that could fit in her palm, for example a baseball if not smaller. Therefore, by using the time she used for the theatrics of the spell, Roxas had dodged her shot, yet still remain within the range to harm her. What further problems should this girl be?
