Description: When people say things about shadows or others being like them, they usually think about stealth and discretion. Well, that's exactly what you'd expect from this type of magic and a little more. This type of magic is generally better in close quarters situations, but can still be effective when at a distance.
Marcus uses this magic to attack others at close quarters distance. Because he uses this magic, he isn't very good at long range battles, which is why he'll try to get as close as possible to his opponent before attacking.

Description: User of this magic will make a simple gesture, that gesture is moving his/her arm from his/her knee to the opposite side's shoulder. While gesture is being performed, user's shadow rises and either forms a wall or dome to shield user. Dome is big enough to fit two people in it; the user and one other person. Wall is as tall as user. Barrier and wall can take up to three D rank hits before breaking.

Description: User makes a simple gesture, that gesture is thrusting his/her arm from his/her hip towards his/her opponent. Shadow transforms into a large, pointed pillar that is thrusted at the opponent. Pillar can move at speeds of 7 meters per second and can attack people within a 15 meter radius.

Description: User makes a simple gesture, that gesture is moving his/her arm from the opposite shoulder and extending it past the shoulder of the moving arm's side. By doing this, the user's shadow will engulf that arm and form a weapon on it. However, doing this will not create the weapon automatically. By uttering a word while doing this, the shadow will turn into a weapon. Saying "blade" will turn the shadow into a blade that can be extended and shrunk. Saying "hammer" will turn the shadow into a sturdy and heavy hammer. Saying "chain" will turn the shadow into a chain that can be used to trap the opponent or grab and throw him/her. Weapons will break after two D rank hits of damage.

Description: User makes a simple gesture, that gesture is raising the user's arm from his/her waist above his/her head. When this happens, the user's shadow will rise and reside in his/her hand. However, this needs a two post charge and won't be ready immediately. Once the two post charge is up, the user can either launch a dark beam at the opponent, or charge it longer for more damage. To launch the beam, the user draws his/her arm to their waste after charging it and thrusts it at the opponent or target. The beam is thin and jolts like electricity. Speed of beam is 7.5 meters per second. Potential damage increase is 5% per additional charging post.

Strengths:
- Dark attacks won't be very effective against users of this magic. Only if the magic user is a higher rank than this user will dark magic be effective against these users. Spells on the same level will be 20% effective.
- Using illusion magic in the dark will not affect users of this magic. However, if the illusion spell is a higher rank than the user of this magic, then the illusion will have affect.
- This magic is better used at close range fighting and stealthy pursuit rather than long range fighting or pursuit.
- Magic is better used for offense rather than defense.
Weaknesses:
- Users of this magic are restricted to possessing one shadow, thus restricting the user to using one spell at a time.
- Being in bright areas will bring the user's spell strength down 25%. (An example of how bright it should be is a bright sunny day.)
- Staying in bright places, such as the aforementioned, for long periods of time will make the user feel woozy and dizzy. (5 posts)
- Users of this magic will have sensitive eyes towards bright lights. If the user were to glance at the sun, he/she will be blinded for 3 posts.
- Being in bright areas for a long time will also make the user have an anxiety attack.

- Description:
- A weathered old monk once had the ability to communicate with spirits. These spirits granted him their abilities, linking with the monk, covering him in a misty white aura, allowing him access to a greater power. The spirits that linked with the monk we’re one of an insane berserker, a warrior with a legendary shield, and a dragon. During a great war, the monk fought for his country, and was supposedly killed in action. It’s rumoured that he fled after the battle, supposedly teaching his family in secret the ways to link with spirits as he once did.
Usage: Allows the user to take on the appearance of a berserker, a guardian, or a dragon in combat.
Each form lasts for 3 posts and can be used once per thread.
The berserker gains a giant two handed spirit claymore, capable of shredding through User ranked armours and defenses, up to A-Rank. No defensive or healing spells may be used in this form
The guardian gains a massive shield of adamantum capable of blocking the equivalent of 3 A-ranked spells. No additional defensive abilities can be used in this form.
The dragon gives the user the ability to fly and a roar of pure energy equivalent to a B ranked Dragon Slayer roar. Also can use claws and tail for basic melee damage. Cannot use any other spells or magic in this form.
- Night Vision: Users of this magic can see in the dark as well as see the tracks of other people in the dark. Tracks will expire as soon as daylight comes or as soon as someone turns on the lights.
- You Can't See Me: When users of this magic shut their eyes in the dark, they'll become invisible. User will have to rely on other 4 senses to maneuver around. Higher ranks will still be able to sense user. (Note: I want to add that the other 4 senses will be heightened to make it a little easier for the user to maneuver and pinpoint enemies while using this. As a weakness, I want to add that, since the other 4 senses will be heightened while using this ability, they'll also be highly sensitive.)
- Fear of the Shadow: This magic requires a shadow to be used as a source of the magic. As a result, the shadows of the users of this magic will never disappear, giving the user the ability to use the magic no matter the circumstances. (Note that users of this magic will still be restricted by their own magic energy. Just because they have the ability to use their magic whenever they want doesn't mean they can use it for as long as they want.)

- Strongest against elemental spells and attacks.
- Will deflect light energy despite user's weakness to it. When shadow is turned into Shadow Barrier, the shadow hardens itself to be able to deflect and resist elemental attacks. Because the shield is hardened, it can also deflect light attacks.
- Stronger defense when activated in dark areas.
Weaknesses:
- Physical attacks phase through shield.
- Shield has weaker defense in bright areas.
- Damage over Time spells weaken shield. Damage over Time spells put lots of pressure on the user and, as a result, the user will quickly lose connection with the Shadow Barrier. The Shadow Barrier will break after 2 posts and turn back into the user's shadow.
- Shield is weaker against non-elemental spells and attacks.

- Will increase in speed and strength in dark areas. Speed will go up to 8 meters per second and potential damage is increased 10%.
- Stronger against physical attacks and objects, such as a human body or building or rock.
- If user makes an additional gesture, the pillar will change directions. Can only work for three times. If pillar doesn't hit opponent after third maneuver, the pillar will turn back into the user's shadow.
Weaknesses:
- Magic attacks will disrupt the pillar, causing it to transform back into the user's shadow.
- Pillar will move slower and pack less of a punch in bright areas. Speed will decrease to 5.5 meters per second and strength will decrease 20%.
- Using light attacks can deflect the pillar back at user.
- The more the pillar changes direction, the weaker the attack. Power decrease is 15% per direction change.

- Blade can cut through physical attacks and objects, such as buildings, rocks and human bodies. Blade can extend up to 1 meter long.
- Hammer can crush magical attacks and break magical barriers.
- Chain can stretch as far as the user's magical energy would permit, usually 9 meters.
Weaknesses:
- Blade will disperse if user has the wind knocked out of him/her.
- Physical objects and attacks phase through hammer.
- Chain can be broken using magic attacks.
- Potential damage dealt is decreased when in bright areas. Damage decrease is 15%.

- Beam can pierce magic barriers if charged long enough.
- User can make this attack curve once.
- Being in dark areas increases the speed of the beam and damage dealt from it. Speed is increased to 8.5 meters per second and potential damage dealt is increased 10%.
Weaknesses:
- This attack can harm the user.
- The longer the attack is charged, the more magic energy is used. Magic energy will decrease 10% for each charge.
- Being in bright areas decreases the speed of beam and damage dealt from it. Speed will decrease to 6 meters per second and potential damage is decreased 10%.
- User is vulnerable while charging beam and firing beam.
