Be A Model! | Job | Laycie

A slight tilt of her head to the side; slight confusion framing her visage as her amethyst hues stared forth at the blinding flashes of light, the hollers of names and terminologies that she could not comprehend, and the exposing figures of females clad in only leaves presenting themselves in some deviant poses. Her eyes glided back towards the paper that lay within her hand as she scanned it thoroughly once more before looking back up at the sight in front of her. “So, this is what humans classify as modelling?” A question aimed towards herself as the female; laden in a crimson, red sun dress coupled with a white sun hat trudged forth into the premises of the modeling area; her luscious locks of brown hair trailing in waves behind her as her curious eyes glanced at the contraption and people that lay in front of her.

For a demon who had been alive for over 200 years, the aspect of modelling was quite new to Laycie. When she had come across the job sheet in the guild hall of Basilisk Fang, her curiosity rose to new levels at what this terminology ‘modelling’ may mean and unfortunately, none were around to ask about it. Hence, the dark-haired demon decided to venture into the East Forest of Magnolia to see for herself what this may be. And till now, she was thoroughly surprised as she had not imagined that modelling meant for young women to deck themselves up in attires – or in this case, leaves – and strike lavish poses for a flash from a machine – which she had learned recently was a camera – to go off, successfully, capturing the moment. How peculiar. Nonetheless, it was quite intriguing as well for the demon had never come across such things before and perhaps, she may be able to attain some amusement from this little exhibit.

“Hey, you there!” A gruff voice rose above all others, aimed towards the direction of the demon as she raised an eyebrow at the prospect of someone referring to her like that; clearly, this was not appreciated by the woman. However, the guise of cheerfulness and joy had masked her features as she came face-to-face with the one known as Chanelle; the designer mentioned on the job sheet. And how Laycie knew that was due to the gold imprinted necklace around his neck with the words ‘Chanelle’ finely engraved in a stylish handwriting upon them. Chanelle was a modest looking man; blond hair gelled backwards with perhaps a little too much gel, average in height, well-toned and dressed up lavishly in finely woven clothes of a white tailored suit. And from this, the demon knew that she was surely to be irritated by him. On the bright side though, analyzing his over-confident and egoistic personality, perhaps, a meal could be arranged.

“Looking at the paper in your hand, I’m assuming you’re the one who took the job. I gotta say, you’re younger than what I expected and lack a little – or a lot – in the womanly section. But well, whatever, some of the audience likes younger ones anyways. Melissa, get her dressed! Quick!”

Inwardly, the demon was chuckling at the man. She was right, he was a repulsive man and he irritated her but that was what made him appealing to her. Oh, this modelling job may turn out to be more fun than she had anticipated.


“Alright, that’s good! Keep doing that!” The voice instructed as flashes went off, irritating the female greatly as she posed covered with nothing but leaves; only across her womanly parts though, her legs arms and stomach were completely exposed. Not that Laycie minded that; after all, she had no qualms in being entirely naked as well. But coming back to the modelling part, perhaps, it was not as fun as she expected it to be. At the final shot, the demon couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief at the blaring flashes being over and the hollers of humans instructing her what to do. By now, as Laycie walked over to one of the buses in which the models were dressed, she was thoroughly annoyed. This modelling was quite tedious work, indeed as well as irritating. She mentally cursed her curiosity for it was that which dragged her to this photoshoot to witness what it is.

A low growl escaped from her the back of her throat as she placed herself upon the velvet sofa inside the van. Soon after which, a knock followed and the footsteps of someone approaching the demon who lay upon the sofa, her eyes closed. When she opened them again, her orbs came directly in contact with the face of Chanelle himself who wore upon his face a grin; however, guise was a mastery of the demon and just a glance at his face told her that he did not have any good intentions.

“You were wonderful out there, darlin’.” He purred, tracing his hand across one of Laycie’s exposed legs as she sat upwards, facing him with a sly smile lining her lips. “If you want, I can make you a huge model. You’ll be filthy rich and people will be dying to work with you. Only for a small little fee. What do you say, huh?” He said all this while continuing her to trace his hand upwards towards Laycie’s thigh and closer to one area of her body. With the smile still intact, she leaned closer to him and whispered huskily in his ear, “This is what I think about that~”

As those words left her mouth, her hand instinctively engraved itself within Chanelle’s chest, right where his heart should be. Her fingers clutched around the source of his life as her eyes shone brightly in a shade of crimson; a deranged look framing on her visage from the demented smirk lining her lips. Whilst on the other hand, Chanelle’s eyes had widened to the point where his eyes would seem to escape his sockets as blood gushed out of his mouth. The dark-haired demon’s fingers tightened around his heart, squishing it within her grasp as screams of agony left Chanelle’s lips. Which were successfully, swallowed down by the knife that plunged into his throat that Laycie had picked up from the nearby table next to the fruits. She continued tightening her fingers around his heart and squishing it within her fingers as blood gushed violently out of his mouth with the man thrashing violently as Laycie straddled him.

“Nighty, night, Mr. Chanelle~”

With that statement, she placed her mouth upon his blood-soaked one and waves of blue energy – Chanelle’s soul – escaped his mouth and went directly into hers. By the time, the transfer had been completely, Laycie had completely crushed his heart within her fingers, taking her hand out of his chest and licking the blood on her fingertips as Chanelle lay upon the now blood soaked sofa; his own body seemingly drowning within his own blood. His eyes widened, mouth agape, and his body limp dampened with blood was how Laycie left him as she sauntered back to the guild hall of Basilisk Fang.

“Such a delightful meal. Maybe this modeling wasn’t as bad as I thought. Hehe~”
