"Killer and the victim" [Private Plot: Daiki/Famine]

After having spent days in her house after having found Rita's corpse outside of a burning Fairy Tail, she would eventually force herself outside, in which she would sulk while wandering to whatever place her feet would take her. She didn't actually know where she would want to go, considering that she just wanted to stay with Rita for as long as she could. After having done what she needed to after having woken up, in which she mostly just half did, out of a lack of much motivation for doing things. It was surprising when her hair turned out normal when she did it, but she dressed in her usual attire. Before she had actually taken her walk, deciding on where fate will take her, she would make her way to the area where the Fairy Tail Guild Hall was, and had simply asked pedestrians the following quite a few times: "Did you see anything suspicious at the time of Fairy Tail being burned?"

After having asked people that a few dozen times, she didn't get an answer, up until a few minutes after she had last asked it when she had thought no one had any answers. One person had came back up to her, saying that they remembered there was a detail they did overlook. Apparently someone with snake tattoos on each arm had been noticed walking away from the direction of Fairy Tail around the same time the fire had started.

Daiki's only lead on the person who had killed Rita had several days head start on her, which she would take the walk she planned on doing soon after having left the guy.

After her walk had brought her to Hargeon Town, and soon after having arrived there, she would make her way to the docks, and just sit on the edge of one, staring into the seemingly endless abyss that was the water. Her red eyes would stare into the water for quite some time, even as the dark sky had started to cause it to rain. Even with it beginning to rain, she would continue to sit there, as it continued to start raining.

After a few moments though, she would stand up, before having making we way through Hargeon after staring into the sea while sitting on the pier.

After having left the pier, Daiki would start wandering throughout Hargeon. She didn't know much of what to do aside from walk through the rain. Each of her steps were slow, as she felt each drop of rain hit her body, her clothes already starting to get soaked, due to the starting to start falling in more frequency. As the rain fell, her tears were becoming more and more hidden on her face, as the rain rolled down her face. For a majority of her time walking, her gaze would be more towards the ground instead of being in front of her, though once she had seen the flash of lightning and heard the crackle of thunder, she would stop before looking up towards the sky. Her tears getting washed away by the rain, but even with the rain hiding them, she would continue to shed tears.

She would stand still for a few moments before seeing a hooded figure run across the roofs of a few houses, and noticed a spotted tattoo on one of the arms, in which the catalyst that took the form of a piercing on her face gently started to glow, only two rifles had been summoned by Daiki, quickly grabbing one, she would fire a shot that would hopefully fly in front of the woman, before grabbing the second one, and holding it both hands before speaking to the person. "Stop! Someone with the same tattoos as yours had been seen walking away from the Fairy Tail guild after it had gone up in flames... and more importantly leaving the guild a member short..." She said, her voice wavering slightly. "Why... Why would you do that to my best friend?!" She would say, the gun that was held in both hands seemed to be held impossibly steady, but Daiki's emotions faltered. Even while later after layer of depression, most every other emotion couldn't hold under the weight of it except for one, which wouldn't show itself much with the amount of sadness and depression that she was suffering from.

Daiki kept her watering eyes, as well as the barrel pointed at the person who she had suspected to have killed Rita, due to having been reported to have been walking away from where the Fairy Tail Guild Hall was soon after the fire had started. Though after a few moments, the figured would speak, their voice being changed probably due to the mask they wore. But as it turned out, they had confirmed that they had killed Rita. Something inside the sea of Daiki's emotions revealed itself, unlike before. Though as it surfaced, it wouldn't take effect right away. The tears that grew within her eyes would soon start to flow down her face, along side the drops of rain.

The figure had dropped something, Daiki had noticed, but wouldn't change her focus on the murderer of her best friend. As the seconds passed by, the surfaced emotion, Rage, would continue to grow within her. Soon after the object had hit the ground, seven lights in a formation similar to an upside-down 'v' appeared on her back. The light slightly shined through her soaked shirt. As the figure had actually turned their gaze toward her, and with a snap, she had opened a book which would float from her palm and float about the air beside her, the pages flipping by themselves and seemingly unaffected by the rain.

Daiki didn't care about the book at all, as her stare continued to stay on the masked figure, who had tilted their head down towards her, some light brown hair moving. As the figure had told her that there was nothing that she could do about it, and had practically demanded that she go, Daiki would immediately speak. "Even with her gone, I can do something about it! I can at least try! Because she believes in me!" She would say, as the spark for her rage had finally ignited. She would pull the trigger of the gun, quickly letting the gun go, which it had seemingly disappeared from existence. The piercing she had slightly off to the left and below her left eye continued to glow, as she deeply inhaled, in preparation for a spell. The moment she had started to exhale, she would use her Light Gods' Shout, which would launch a fairly small bean of light towards the figure. The moment the beam of light was fired, eight more rifles, exactly like the one she had been holding before would appear and land on the ground, almost as if they were standing. The barrels were pointed at the ground, in which she would grab two from the ground after having used her spell, and pointed them at the figure, not knowing what they had done to avoid or block it.

Daiki watched as the figure had moved to dodge the initial shot, which would land her in a position to dodge her Shout. She watched the person slide back the roof, before hearing the jumbled voice speak to her once more, asking her if it's really what Rita would want, and how long had she been wandering around. The person had told her to go back to Fairy Tail, and had soon returned to the edge of the rooftop, just with simple scratches. She had sent one of her more powerful spells at the woman and it had hit straight on, but only left a few scratches. Had she not let herself fall into what rage had surfaced through the sea of depression, a growl would be heard here, but she just stared at the person, tears still being masked by the rain.

She would watch the person jump down onto the street, so they were at equal footing now, and watching them hold out their hand as a black mass formed in their hand, taking shape as a sword. They would hold out the black sword that was formed towards her and stated that she didn't want to attack them again. "You have no right telling me what to do!" She would say, as the sky would light up again, followed by an explosive burst of thunder. As the darker clouds started to fill the sky, Daiki's attention stayed focused on the figure standing in front of her, using a familiar magic, but had she not lost herself in the rage for the time being, she would be able to actually think a bit more.

Mere seconds after the burst of thunder, Daiki would start firing off shots from the guns, one after another, new ones appearing after the ones that had fired their shot were let go. Unlike now, compared to any other time, the elegance Daiki would normally have while firing the guns was completely gone, as well as wasting energy instead of her normal time using said weapons. The number of guns she had out never exceeded eight, though the speed she fired them, directly at the person which was less than an optimal idea, was surprising, even for her, Though the fact that she was firing directly at her made the shots easily dodge-able.

As her shots flew towards the person, they would raise one of their hands towards the sky, at an angle, in which they would create some sort of shield which would block each of the shots she had fired. A slightly audible growl could come from her, as the wall had exploded into black dust soon after she had fired the shot. Daiki would watch as the person would flip some pages of the book that floated near them, as the air around them darkened, the tiles of the road breaking underneath the two of them. Though, the moment she had noticed this, a wave of nausea passed over her. While not entirely being in the right state of mind, the nausea had passed through the rage and directly to her which would cause the rage she was feeling to withdraw as her body didn't much want to listen to her.

As the figure spoke, she wouldn't be able to respond as she did what she could to keep the nausea under control, before watching the person become surrounded in a black aura before disappearing from her sight. Daiki looking around, not knowing where they'd have gone. It was but a mere moment before she had felt the force of the persons knee in her back. She would fall to her knees and immediately vomiting from the overwhelming feeling of sickness that she had just experienced.  

Soon after the feeling of sickness had washed over her body, she would feel the person's nails bury into her scalp, the person pulling her head back and forcing to her to face the sky, as six rifles sat in the ground around them now.

She would listen to the person speak, and would try to gather some magical energy, but it continued to be drained as the person held onto her, and felt the blade that she had pressed against her neck.. "Is this what you did to Rita? If it means I get to see her once more, then so be it!" She would say, as one could obviously see the tears running down her face through the rain. Her tears, not only running for her fallen friend now, but for the fact that she couldn't even do anything to the person who had killed her. Her energy running quite low, as well as her emotions, she would hang her arms to her sides, waiting to see what the figure that stood over her, with a blade to her neck, would do.

Daiki felt the person's hand tightening their grip, before they spoke. Her eyes would widen once the figure had spoken, bringing up the question of 'would Rita have written to her if she had wanted this?'. How... how would this person know about the letter? Only one option had popped into her head as to why this person had known about the letter. This had to be Rita. As her eyes teared up even more, she would feel two of the persons' fingers jutting into the base of her throat, causing her breathing to stop for just long enough to pass out. As the world went dark, the last thing she would be watch the ground become closer, but after that, nothing.

After a few hours, Daiki had woken up in someones house, on their couch. She would quickly sit up, before looking around before remembering what had happened just before she had passed out.


She would bring her hands to her face, as tears quickly started roll down her face before she would quickly wipe her tears away before running out of the house, bumping into the doorway as she had opened the door. She couldn't believe what had happened. Rita had faked her death and burned down the guild hall. Why did she do this? How could she do this to her, the person who considered her to be her best friend. She couldn't believe what had happened, but she would just force her body to run, to try and get away from the revelation.
