Elyx recovered back up, only to lose his form quickly, not even pieces of light shattering. His feet fell back onto the floor as his claws disappeared, but his Violin and his Knight Iris blade both returned back into his palms. Perfect, it is showtime. Elyx started this battle off by leaping forward towards the sun mage, who retaliated by shooting a large sun fire string at him. The boy blcoked the attack with his blade, using its effect to avoid any critical injuries with that whip of fire. The attack as deflected away from the boy who wanted to defeat this sun mage even if it would be the last thing he does. The sun mage was not as cocky anymore, and he had good reason not to be.
Knight Iris quickly pierced into the stomach of the mage, and Elyx added further onto the pain by twisting the blade as he pulled out. The sun mage quickly pushed Elyx backwards with his palm before striking the boy from behind with the sun whip, causing Elyx to fall onto his back and look up as the mage attempted to stomach on the boys stomach. However, Elyx rolled off to the side as quickly as he could to avoid the devastating impact of that boot, and he ended up running away by rolling,, only to be stopped by the fire whip once again. Elyx stumbled onto his feet again, ready for action, but his flow in this battle was beginning to decrease. It seems he was losing his touch for this sort of thing.
