The further they get the bigger the payout. Plus the odds change depending on how favored the contestant is. Relative unknowns like yourself should get excellent odds and i'll split the winnings with you 50/50. If you win you get a big prize too. There are seven rounds Unless you get to the fifth round, which is the quarter finals there is no pay out. Not all of the fighters are human or even humanoid though. Its a great tournament and its hosted beneath the ground at Sphere Island. So you up for it?'
Enemies:
Unlike most missions the monster dice will not be rolled to determine your opponent by themselves. No, that would not work for a tournament such as this. So here is how it will work.
If you are solo then each time a round starts(so at the beginning, or after you beat your opponent), roll a single monster dice plus a normal dice. If you are in a team then roll two of each dice. The only exception to this is the final round. You do not roll a dice for this. The enemy will always be the same. With the exception of the final boss none of the opponents will have set attacks or fighting styles or anything of that nature. How they fight is up to you. All you get is a picture.
WEAK OPPONENTS - RANDOM INDIVIDUALS:
NORMAL OPPONENTS - MONSTERS:
STRONG OPPONENTS - MASTER MARTIAL ARTISTS:
BOSS OPPONENTS -GODLY FIGHTERS:
FINAL BOSS:
As you can see i'm not giving you an amount of hits to do. Be reasonable though. You aren't one shotting these guys unless you rp it extremely well. Even the weak ones are highly skilled.

"Fight!""Fight!""Fight!""Fight!""Fight!" Simon was in a hell of a situation having just rescued a tribe of Vulcan Sapien, a variation of your common forest Vulcan that had been taught the human language and had developed a complex society, from some little league dark guild. Still brute monsters at heart the vulcans awarded him with a chance to wrestle their leader, naturally it was an offer he couldn't refuse. So now he found himself stripped down to his shorts, covered in chalk, bandages around his palms, half crouch on the opposite side of a dirt ring from a twelve foot tall ape monster. Naturally with a ring of almost as huge cheering ape monsters preventing his escape. He had no idea how he was going to pull this off and had accepted the fact that he was going to be completely humiliated in front of a bunch of half-civilized apes. Sure Simon was one of the most powerful mages in Fiore but he wasn't sure where that ranked him on the physical strength charts. The vulcans didn't seem to care and one rung the gong to begin anyway. The vulcan chief charged roaring and Simon met his charge with a defiant yell of his own, sure he had no chance of winning but he was going to lose like a champ. So they met in the center of the ring in hand to bicep grappling. Simon felt himself rapidly being pushed back as expected however his real horror stemmed as he saw out from the corner of his eye some news reporter had snuck his way to the edge of the ring and was recording the event. Seized with panic of his humiliating defeat becoming known Simon found new strength and before he knew it was pushing the vulcan chief back because he simply couldn't lose. So he didn't, he wasn't sure how but he managed to push the massive monkey all the way to the edge of the ring and with one last shove knocked him off the ring.
Simon was about to collapse from exhaustion and his whole body ached from the exhertion, not to mention the ear splitting roars of approval from the vulcans but at least it was over. So the phoenix mage was allowed to think. If he wanted that to be true he really should have stopped that reporter on the way out.
So now he sat at a job client's kitchen table as a rather boring individual explained a job request. The client had specifically requested Simon because of the story of him wrestling a vulcan along with some other mage he had never heard of accredited with killing an Antlion. He wasn't a fan of the job description, hiring the two baddest dudes you could find to win a tournament for you just so you could collect the prize money sounded shady with a capital S. But the client had threatened to call him chicken if he backed out so here he was in for the long haul. However the second individual had yet to arrive so Simon could not yet head out.
