A Cold Beginning

"Here I am", thought Annabel, "in the middle of a blizzard looking for a guild house". The wind began to slow down, causing visibility to be better than before. Looking towards the mountaintop, she could slowing begin to see what looked like a castle in the distance. Annabel began to smile, "not long now", she thought. Walking in the general direction of the building she began to remember her last encounter with her real father...

"Now Annabel this is very important. You need to search for a guild called Basilisk Fang, they will help you get stronger. Remember the things I've told you; Take advantage, however you must, and become powerful. You are the daughter of the Demon lord of Beal, NEVER forget that!"
"Good Girl" a smile went across his face and he began to hug Annabel "make me proud baby girl"...

Annabel began to tear up a little, her goal in life was to make her REAL father proud of her and to cast VENGEANCE on her stepfather. This was the first step to do both. By now the blizzard had stopped and she neared the massive gothic styled castle. Shivers began to go across Annabel's spine; quickly looking around herself, she realized she was releasing dark energy. "Note to self: Dark energy and cold weather don't work well together" she said as she started rubbing her arms to warm up.Annabel stopped upon reaching the door, "here is the beginning of my new life" she thought. A smile came across Annabel's face she reached for the doorknob, a golden snake with ruby eyes, and slowly began to open the door....

Annabel walks inside the hall, around her many members of Basilisk Fang are gathered. Upon entering, the room quiets and people begin looking in her direction and whispering. She immediately starts to blush; anger swells inside of her and ribbons of dark magic streamed around her. She knew that this maybe wasn't the best entrance into a place but its too late now. By now her torso was covered in her fathers "unholy battle armor" and her arms had transformed into demon arms. People around her looked shocked.

"Hello", Annabel called to the surrounding people, " I am new here and looking for people to be friends with and help me around. Can anyone help me?"

Kitteh dropped down out of a little upper corner in the guild. "Friend is a strong word would you not say I would consider the guild members here acquaintances or powerful others" kitteh said. Kitteh walked to handshake her and grinned. He looked around into the darkness for the others and whispered " you are the loudest here, I recommend you quiet down or read a book for a bit" Kitteh winked. Kitteh smirked sarcastically and then started going insane.

Annabel stared at the man in front of her wondering how to respond. She eventually decided to smile back and shake his hand. They released hands and she began to think"I wonder if he is like them too", referring to males in general. Show she really trust him like she did with the others? "I'll decide later" she thought.
"Thanks for the advice stranger", she replied back. He smirked and then all of a sudden began to go crazy....

Staring at the event that just occurred in front of her, Annabel slowly moved towards the outer rim of the building. By now she had calmed down and her arm and body were back to her normal attire. "So this is my new home huh dad?", she thought to herself "this is were I should grow more powerful?" she began to laugh.Determination swell in her body"I'll do it for you Papa Beal I swear" she said out loud. Annabel moved further into the castle-like building looking to see if she could find anyone else to meet....
