Shulk walked through Hargeon looking for the Lamia Scale guild hall. He probably didn't notice it because he was only looking down so the sun didn't hurt his eyes. He felt like he was walking in a circle, and it didn't help that he had never been here. He decided to walk to where he expected the center of the city. Then he felt stupid when he saw the giant, slightly damaged, marble building in the middle of the city. He found a staircase leading inside so he decided to walk up it. His first impressions after walking in. This place seems to have taken....some...damage. He looked around at the re-comtructon and smiled at hearing the sound of building, but then looked back down because the sun was shining right on his face through a hole in the roof. He walked a little farther to see if he could find any other members that weren't drinking or going on jobs, unless the rest were wounded from whatever happened here. He needed to know what happened that ruined such beautiful architecture and the guild's home. He also needed to know why everyone seemed so down. Did I come at a bad time..?. He shrugged of the thought and decided to sit in a seat that was entirely hidden from sunlight.

It was pretty quiet in the guild after what happened, no one said too much of anything, some were no where to be found, others let out their pain through the reconstruction of the guild hall, Hakumi handled the tragic event differently than others. She decided to keep all of the pain she felt bottled up inside, she wasn't sure why though. It was just one of those things people do but can't explain. She tried reading to keep her mind off of it, but it was too difficult. She also tried to avoid others, as she was afraid that they would try to talk about the situation and she knew that if anyone said anything, she would cry.
Hakumi had been seated on a nearby table, reading a book. She couldn't help but notice the young man that had sat nearby. She hadn't seen his face before, she assumed that he was a person wishing to join. She tried to calm herself down, and walked over to him. "N-need any help?" She said timidly. She was not only a shy girl, but st the time, she was also struggling with various emotions, so talking to people was even more difficult than usual.

Kihia stood in the midst of the hall, he looked at a pile of rubble that various workers had gathered as they continued working on repairing what they could of the Guild hall, Icirak would no doubt be hunting him down soon. He was still in bad shape, he was wearing grey slacks and a sleeveless grey shirt, he was still heavily bandaged, his left arm in a brace up against his chest and not wearing his prosthetic arm as the new one was still not ready. He had his trench coat hung on his shoulders as it fluttered in the breeze blowing into the hall. Kihia was certainly in no condition to be out and about in his current state, hence why he only had a few moments before Ukan, Icirak and a few others would start to hunt down the new Guild Master of Lamia Scale….
Kihia then smelt a new smell and tensed as he turned to see what it was when he saw a new face take a seat in the corner with Hakumi already walked up and conversing with him. Kihia then started to hobble over quietly and did a slight bow, “Welcome to the Lamia Scale Guild Hall… I apologize for the mess… we are trying to make repairs after….” He couldn’t finish the sentence as his own expression darkened.

"Oh...um hello..I'm here to ask if...I can join the guild.". His sword was strapped to the back of his red vest he always wore around his black t-shirt and his jean shorts. No wonder they noticed me so quickly, I stick ut like a sore thumb. He looked up at the two new people and thought to ask what happened here, but when he saw the white haired one's face when it was almost brought up he decided against it. "I-I'm Shulk...nice to meet you both.". He looked down, feeling slightly embarrassed about how nervous he sounded. He studied the two new faces. The man had large muscles, almost shoulder length white hair, wore all grey, was heavily bandaged, and had...only one arm. Another question to ask later he thought. He looked at the girl who had walked up to him. She had bright green eyes, long blonde hair that had two curly strands that went over the fronts of her shoulders, and a blue and yellow outfit. He then looked down, embarrassed again. He looked at the guild hall again and noticed there was a bit of water stains.... everywhere...more questions for later. "Um...do either of you know where the guild master is...?".

Recent times had been particularly stressful for Enola, what with the cleaning and all. As they rebuilt the broken portion of the guild hall, things seemed to only get messier. At the same time, however, cleaning was what held her emotions together. She didn’t cry or whine about what those cursed brothers had done… she just cleaned. She refused to talk about it. If anyone asked or talked about it, she simply kept doing whatever task was occupying her at the moment. She even neglected to call Kihia “Master Kihia” as she did with Zuo; not out of disrespect for Kihia but out of mourning for Zuo. Instead, she continued to refer to the ice knight as…
“Mr. Avoa!”
Enola turned the corner with a bowl of stew, laced with herbs that held healing properties (supposedly).
Clack!
The bowl fell to the ground and shattered as Enola’s wide eyes gazed at the empty bed where her cold companion was supposed to be lying. She stepped over the dropped stew and frantically searched the room. When she came across the closet, the maid found a particular item missing: Kihia’s trench coat. The missing trench coat indicated the ice knight was wandering around with a beaten body. Enola nearly had a heart attack as a very painful flash back occurred:
“But I WANT to go outside!” A nine-year-old Enola practically threw a fit in front of her mother.
Amelia Gay, mother of the future maid-mage, slapped the child right across the face. “How dare you act that way! You should know better!”
Enola’s little eyes teared up as she whimpered, “But why!?”
“Because… Francois is sick and he needs our attention. Rule number one of a servant: always ensure the health and safety of your master. Understand, child?”
After that brief yet powerful memory resurfaced once again, Enola snapped back to reality and started running down the marble hall way. She was unable to protect Zuo; she refused to let anything happen to Kiha. Her integrity as a maid depended on it.
Enola found her new master where she expected: the main guild hall. She overheard the man, Shulk, inquired about joining Lamia Scale but she absolutely had to jump in:
“MR. AVOA! What are you doing out of bed!?” She rushed past Hakumi and the newcomer and placed a hand on Kihia’s less bruised shoulder as if she were trying to rush him back to bed.
“As guild master, you’re going to need a lot of rest for the next couple days and you can’t waste a moment. Oh dear, we’ll probably have to fix your brace after this. I shouldn’t have left your side; I knew it was foolish… Ugh, I truly am an awful servant! My, my, my, what am I going to do…” Enola rambled on and on in a peculiar panic until she finally ordered, “Ms. Nazu, help me get Mr. Avoa back to bed. You too, young man.”

Two smoke-like ravens flew throughout the Lamia scale guildhall, surveying the damaged building. Dmitry was using Huginn and Muninn to check for any damage the guild wasn't aware of, appearing to be asleep in the main hall. When he found nothing they didn't already know about, he dismissed the ravens and became aware of the world around him again. Honestly, Dmitry was in a strange place right now. He hadn't been in the guild long, and didn't know it's guild master well enough to have any particularly fond memories with him. However, he found the whole mess terribly sad. Despite his short time here, he had become strangely attached the guild and felt the world was truly lesser without the Old Coot in it, which was a rare sentiment for Dmitry. He'd been in Quanny village fighting Scourge when the whole ordeal happened and wished he could have been here to fight alongside his new comrades. But Dmitry knew such thoughts were pointless. Instead, he would ensure this never happened again.
The nature spirit mage sighed heavily, before hearing a commotion in the hall. Dmitry smiled warmly, glad to see the guild still had some of it's energy. Enola was there when he joined and welcomed him with open arms despite the fact that he was a complete stranger. He had to agree with the maid, Master Popsicle shouldn't be walking about in his condition. He was walking toward the group to help apprehend the Frozen Knight, body still aching from his battle with Scourge, when he noticed the newcomer. At this point he figured it was rather convenient that the new guild master happened to be here. Dmitry felt somewhat obligated to welcome newcomers as he was one not too long ago.
"Enola, maybe he should at least speak with the new guy before going back to bed. He is the master now." Dmitry said, trying to cut the potential new member some slack.

Hakumi watched as Kihia approached. He was still badly damaged from the attack. seeing him like that made Hakumi want to cry even more. "Excuse me for one moment." She said, walking away from the crowd of people in tears. She couldn't hold in the pain she felt any longer. She had to let it all out. She sobbed silently, tears rolling down her cheeks, box of tissues in hand, and a corner to sit in. The corner was somewhat hidden. There were lots of tables in front of it and it was away from everyone else. She felt kind of rude for just walking away from the young man wishing to join the guild, but she couldn't hold back her feelings any longer.

Kihia grimaced as he was caught by numerous members of Lamia Scale, his left shoulder was grabbed by Enola which he withheld any expression of pain. He then watched as Dmitry came up, commenting how Kihia should stay here and talk with the new member, once again reminding him that he was now the Master of Lamia Scale.
He watched as Hakumi said she needed a moment walked off, to a corner, he could hear her start to cry which made his burden no easier. Kihia then spoke up, “Enola, I cannot have any rest from what happened… I need to help where I can… and please do not be hard on yourself…” He then turned to the new member and bowed his head slightly, “It is a pleasure to meet you Shulk… As you have heard… I am…” He paused for a moment working his tongue, “I am the Guild Master of Lamia Scale…” He then sat down in the chair across from Shulk wincing a bit, he then turned to Dmitry, “Dmitry, can you please get the entry paperwork as well as the Guild Tattoo Stamp please? We need to get Shulk through the process sometime… right?”

Shulk looked around at all the new faces, well two new faces, and watched as Mrs.Nazu walked away, followed by quiet crying. Then the man with white hair, Mr. Avoa, who is apparently the guild master, sat across from him and asked the new man who came up, Dmitry, to get the registration papers and guild tattoo stamp. "Wait so I can join..j-just like that?". A million question popped into shulks mind, but first things first he though. I should check on Ms, Nazu.... "Um...I'll be right back, I'm gonna....get some air...while you all get the papers out and stuff....". With thatbhe stood up and walked over to Ms.Nazu. When he found her he saw she had tears streaking down her face and she was holdig a box of tissues. It seemed she'd been holding whatever she was crying about for a decent amount of time. "Um...hello...w-what's wrong...? If you don't wanna talk about it that's fine but...if you do youncan talk to me...". He felt a little embarrassed and rude for walking up to someone he barely knew and saying that, but she was the first one to talk to him so he thought it was only right.

Dmitry nodded to Kihia and went to grab the paperwork and stamp as Shulk took off to 'get some air'. It was obvious he was going to talk to Hakumi, to which Dmitry couldn't complain. Truth be told, he wanted to console the young water mage himself. But Dmitry didn't have any idea how to do such things as he was still inexperienced with people. Still, he couldn't leave someone to mourn alone; he knew from experience that such a thing was a recipe for disaster. Dmitry dropped the papers and stamp on Kihia's table and walked straight in the direction Hakumi went. He quickly found Shulk standing next to her, trying to talk to young woman. Dmitry took a deep breath and walked up to them.
"Look...Hakumi..." He fumbled for whatever words he could find, completely out of his element. "Shulk's right. You ought to talk about it." Dmitry sat down next to her. "I didn't know Zuo Cii all that well and I don't have the right to act like I did. But even someone as oblivious to people as I am could tell that he loved this guild. He wouldn't want you to suffer like this. So please...talk to us." Dmitry honestly couldn't believe what he was saying, but he couldn't just sit back and let the new guy do everything.

Hakumi didn't notice that Shulk had walked over to her until he began to speak. She had been too caught up in the moment and was more concerned about no one seeing her in that state. She had normally been a calm girl and tried hard to not to let her emotions run wild, but it didn't work that time. The feelings of sadness she had held within her for so long couldn't be contained anymore and she had to let it out.
She listened to the now two men as they walked over to her, trying to cheer her up. "You're right Dmitry... I should talk about it, but it's hard... I don't want to think about what happened... I don't want to relive that moment and pop back into the reality that he's gone... forever." She said to DMitry and Shulk, her voice clear and her eyes drying. It appeared that their offer to talk to her helped her a lot, though she may have not noticed it.

Kihia’s solemn eyes watched the group in front of him, one burdened with the very sadness he himself was battling daily, he looked down at the single sheet of Registration paper and the Guild stamp, he let out a sigh, I have to lead the Guild out of this time… I just don’t know how… Kihia then looked to each side just making sure no one was watching him and he lifted his left arm up and snapped his fingers above it and quickly rested it back down and acted like he did nothing. However now infront of him was a stack of paper work about two feet tall where the single paper used to be, “Shulk… Come here please, we need to get started on your registration process…. This covers your history… background check information, and all needed information… I have plenty of pens in case one dries out as you go through it all…"

Shulk smiled a little when he saw Miss Nazu stop crying thank's to Dmitry. Then he heard the guild master call his name so he walked back to the table and saw a stack of paper two feet tall and heard the guild master say it was all required and he had...extra pens in case the other dried out. He couldn't tell if this was a joke or if he was being serious, and he still wondered whatbhappened here to make everyone sad anyways, but he decided to wait to ask that if it had this kind of impact. "Give me just a few minutes and I'll w-work on the papers." he said, avoiding eye contact. He took out the machine parts and batteries and wires he always kept on him and started to build. By the time he was done he had two mechanical hands and arms held under...his arms. He sat and andlet the mechanical arms fill out the papers. They weren't just powered by electricity, but by his magic and his memory, so this was fully possible. "This is ok, right Mr.Avoa?". He hoped that he wasn't somehow breaking some rule, he just didn't want to have to think about his past, or he would be in the same state miss Nazu was in.

Dmitry stood up and held out his hand for Hakumi. "Well, whenever your ready, there's a whole guild full of people willing to listen." He said with a rare smile. Whether she took his hand or got up on his own, he would go over to Shulk and Kihia before shuddering a bit at Shulk's contraption. Another machine he'd never get used to. After Shulk finished the mountain of paperwork, Dmitry would ready the stamp.
"Alright, now this is gonna sting." He would say before jamming the stamp into Shulk's shoulder with no further warning or inquiry as to personal preference, as if he were stabbing someone.
"The emblem should turn up underneath your shirt."
