Hi.
Most people don't know me, but there are a few who probably will recognize me, even if it takes a while. I'm mostly here because of a couple friends, and a faint hint of nostalgia. I used to play on RP forums quite a bit, a few years back. But then, age, life, other things, sorta happened, and I gave it up. Just didn't have time, and quite frankly, felt as though I'd outgrown the art. Although, I've been sitting down for regular (almost too often for my tastes) tabletop gaming with friends, so I suppose it's not all that different, really.
I should probably divulge a bit of information about myself. As has been inferred, I am getting old. I work a dead-end job, while trying to push forward in a career in video production, as well as being a [very] part-time writer. Though, truth be told, apart from arguing with strangers over the internet, I haven't really done much writing lately. And I suppose, that may be a part of why I decided to come to this forum.
In my spare time, I do spend quite a bit of time on video games. I actually do have a small Youtube channel, that's been a bit neglected as of late, as all the games I've been playing are grindy/farmy things, and not something I feel would be interesting to watch without live commentary, or interaction.
As far as my writing style goes, I do tend to drag things out a bit much. If you haven't noticed that, just reading this, then you will eventually. I also take my time, usually neglecting to close out of distractions, such as games, or TV. So, it may take me some doing, to get up to speed, but hopefully, it'll be worth reading. I should probably also mention that, in my previous RP experience, I do get a little more competitive than some people are comfortable with. Quite honestly, things get boring if there's no conflict. People might say they like a hugclub, but no one really does.
So, to wrap up, I can't really say how long I'll be around, before I vanish off the map again. But, due to the couple people who brought me here, I am going to try to stick around, as best I can. So, here's to hoping for a few good times, yeah?
