Personality: Aya is a kind soul to allies, despite coming forth rather cold. It's all in how she holds herself as the strict, long arm of the law. So even when she's laid back she's always formal, even to friends. It's a trade-off, because she is so dedicated to both her cause and her loved ones. She treats them as if she's the mother always looking for the best for their children, but not intentionally. And when pointed out it's quite likely to embarrass the crap out of her. Her dedication comes in her mannerisms and attire too, and she'll often stop to fret about her looks, somehow regaining the ladylike appearance she loses in battle with her fretting. Especially around new people and people she dislikes, she's more likely to act as superior and dominating, riding the line between overbearing bitch and princess, and she accents it all with a hidden sense of humor and likable side when you can ACTUALLY find her relaxing.. like in a hot springs or similar.

Life's not all pancakes and ferrets though, and combat happens when one takes the mantle of a Mage. Under stress in combat, her stricter sides come out entirely. She is every bit a battle-hardened woman, capable of separating emotions from the job at hand at the drop of a hat. She's deadly and incapable of caring when evil, (or what she perceives as evil) is attempting to manipulate her. Of course, with sooo much conviction and dedication to her cause, she can likely be led astray when seemingly good people mislead her into making the wrong choices, and in realizing this she can break down. The bigger the mistake, the harder it is on her soul. For someone who literally puts her life on the line in every battle, it can be hard to deal with choices she made uncaring and effortlessly. Despite this, she has absolutely no problems following or leading, as she's perfectly fine serving a higher cause or guiding others into a brighter path. She can even work somewhat cooperatively with others, so long as they're not incompetent. Her weaknesses for blood and corruption only come into play in prolonged battles, as she normally prefers to end battles quickly with sound tactics and skillful superiority.

Of course, life's not all work and no play, though if you ask her it's more 99% work, .05% on-call work, and .05% tightly scheduled downtime, which is sleep. When she does let her hair down, so to speak, it's at home, or at a hot spring, or in some beautiful vista. Because.. why not be somewhere you like if you're having to take break? And in those times only, when she feels comfortable enough to remove her armor and let her hair turn back red does she become the cuter, more humorous (though that humor is determined entirely on present company), and definitely more human, less formal girl. So it really pays to be a very observant friend if you'd like to see her blush or react in a way that totally doesn't resemble a machine.. or a cold bitch.She hates savage skull members due to Harrigan chasing her sister like a wild Rabbit.Harrigan hates her well.

Likes:

Sweet-smelling flowers - One of the only things that she'll stop a troop march to examine.
Chocolate - OH gawd.. >//<
Honoring the fallen heroes - They've done their part. Now she can help keep their memories pure.
Testing other Mages in friendly sparring - Nothing wrong in friendly competition
Paperwork - It's important!
Justice - Her bread and butter. Sometimes she has to catch herself from preaching.

Dislikes:

Mistrustful people - Mostly the sneaky ones, and those known to be underhanded.
Desecrating graves - Bringing a crime against nature also brings this maiden's wrath.

People who bully others - Unnecessary. More tactful means are more just.
Evil(her perception of) - She hates the lesser paths.
Paperwork - It's a bit.. dull..
Blood - Or the sight of too much blood.

General Appearance


Height: 6'0"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Hair: Natural whit, but varies as described below. Straight, silky, long and kept down her back or splayed over shoulders.
Eyes: Piercing Blue
Skin Tone: White
Appearance: Tall, toned, and curvy, but that's hardly noticeable (except the tall part) due to not only the armor she wears, but the formal dress he wears on top of THAT. Her striking blue eyes help to assert her role as a strict woman, though traces of personality can see in how she braids portions of her hair, or how she retains the utmost fluffy manners of a charming princess when dealing with people or politicians (There's a difference). The armor under both halves of dress is plated, layered over her chest, forearms, legs, boots, corset, and shoulders, but compact enough to not show under her top clothing. In fact, the waist armor is stiff enough, but small enough to set her dress out just enough to make it even more regal-looking.

Beyond that, it's simple wrappings and underwear beneath hiding creamy, lightly tanned skin and accenting her long lengths of flaming red hair, though most people assumed she was a blonde because of the consequences of her powers, and usually ask questions about the halo above her head at the same time.
