Job Requirements: Must defeat 3 Groups of Enemies. Must defeat either Werewolf Omega, or Werewolf Alpha; without killing them. Must either severely wound; or knock out the enemies without killing them.

    Job Location: Haunted Village

Job Description: The Haunted Village, on the coast of the Graveyard Sea. Not a place for those of weak spirit or mind. Nestled at the foot of the Phoenix Mountains; the villagers here have long been wary of the Mountain above. However, outsiders are wary of the villagers themselves; as each fifty years, certain families from this village undergo a drastic transformation.

They are Lycan. Werewolves of the most ancient bloodlines. At least half of the village is composed of Werewolves. Normally; they have complete control of their transformations, and use their powers for good. Whether it be at home in Haunted Village, or around Fiore and the world at large.

However; every fifty years, a Perfect Moon rises over the Graveyard Sea; and into the skies over Haunted Village and Fiore at large. Everywhere else except Haunted Village; this is a site to behold, as many festivals, parties, and love birds enjoy the Perfect Moon to the fullest. However; the Magic Council is aware that on this eve; the Werewolf Clan in Haunted Village goes into a Berserker Rage; murdering their own fellow townsfolk, perhaps even their best of friends; and attempting to branch out across Fiore for one eve of feral bloodlust.

The Magic Council has sent a request too the Guilds; both Light and Dark, to send some of their more talented wizards too Haunted Village to prepare for the impending threat of Werewolves spreading across Fiore for a night of carnage.

The villagers themselves and refuse to believe that anything is going to go wrong. Shunning the village elders who were around for the last Perfect Moon fifty years ago.

    Enemies:

Weak: Confused Werewolf x3 (B-Ranked, Hulk-Sized behemoth that is completely bewildered and out of control at it's sudden transformation. It's running speed on all fours is stupendous. It will use it's Razor Sharp Claws, and Fangs to rip and shred anything in it's way. Will become confused if too many flashy spells are used; and may attacks it's own kind. May also do a 'Calling Roar' within the first 2 posts it's around if it's not downed before the 3rd post. This will spawn yet another pack of Confused Werewolves who come running. Hopefully, your spells and attacks find their mark before a 3rd round. Takes 5 hits of B-Ranked damage to down each one of these beasts. )

Normal: Raging Werewolf x10 (A-Ranked, these Hulking furred behemoth's are foaming at the mouth. They move so quickly; they leave smoke trails behind them as they run at about 30MPH. They have a Sonic Howl attack that will shatter through any B-Ranked spell effects and cause a 'disoriented', Status if you fail block rolls. They are also strong enough to lift trees, and other things of similar weight. Their claws and fangs are sharp enough to cut and bite chunks of buildings away. Their fangs and claws are so strong; that even Magical Iron, Steel, and Ice B-Ranked and blow can be broken and crushed. Takes 10 hits of B-Ranked damage to down each one of these behemoths.)

It's claws are sharp enough to slash through A-Ranked spells if it see's them coming or Blocks. It can easily dodge A-Ranked techniques as well. His claws and fangs are as sharp as a katana; and will deal A-Ranked damage with each slices, maul, or bite. He has a Mega Howl attack that rips up everything in it's path for 50 feet in front of Werewolf Omega in a burst of force that flips things over and causes weak construsts B-Ranked and below composed of anything to explode. His leaps are magnificent. Takes 15 hits of B-Ranked damage to take this white furred Lycan down.)

He moves at 50 MPH with one spring in his step; and can jump 100 feet in any direction. There is no escaping this beast once he has your scent. His claws and fangs? He is strong enough to grab a house by it's foundation, and just flip it. He deals S-Ranked damage with every slice; his claw swipes are so powerful, they cut the air; meaning he can slice at you and even if you dodge; something behind you is getting sliced. His mauls leave claw marks wherever they hit; whether it be Iron, Brick, the Ground itself. It does not matter to the Alpha. 'Sorry boys, but Savage Skull is claiming this job'

While dropping a young man, that Harrigan was holding up with one hand by having a firm grasp on his hair. He spoke, with a slightly amused yet dripping with arrogance of a voice. However speaking to the young man, was rather futile. As he fell like a lifeless rag doll onto the ground, among the rest of his comrades.

They were the mercenary mage group known as Bloody Hatchet, one of the supposedly highest skilled group of mercs in Fiore. Or at least that were they, until they crossed paths with a small group of Savage Skull soldiers, in the nearby forest of the Haunted Village. Who under guidance of their guild master Harrigan Crawford and Pillar Head Mikomi Ariel, quickly took care of the twenty so called capable men.

Some might have called the attack, strange and even confusing. Since after all, mercenaries and dark mages weren't so different. However those who would ask themselves that were forgetting off course one major aspect of Savage Skull. Namely, that Savage Skull doesn't share power. And will cut anything down that would stands in their way.

'I expected more of them... they did have some renown around Fiore you know. But I guess that is the power of tall tales... ah well, they are all yours boys. Loot at will.'

Devilishly grinning with joy and pleased as they were to hear those words from their master, the Savage Skull soldiers sheathed their bloodied swords, and immediately started to fondle around the dead corpses of the Bloody Hatchet men. Groping deep in their pockets, and opening every satchel or sack they could find. Even the weapons wouldn't be left alone, a feature that some warriors would leave alone when taken the life of an enemy. As a form of a warriors respect. However these were off course soldiers of the dark guild Savage Skull, and didn't care for such formalities. To them a dead body was nothing more then a small treasure cove. They did appeared to have enough discipline or fear maybe, to wait their masters approval.

While the soldiers had their momentarily fun of looting the corpses, Harrigan inspected some of the bodies from where he was standing. Almost half of them had one single wound, a small hole straight in their forehead. Showing that someone had taken them out with precise skill and without hesitation. And before long, he heard the rustling of someone making their way through the forest towards him.

'Impressive as always' Harrigan spoke, knowing full well who the deliverer was off those deadly shots.

Post by Mikomi Ariel 30th April 2015, 12:17 pm

The moon shined brightly upon the woods of the village, the night was pretty young to say the least. The small glimmering light that flooded this dark place wasn’t enough to pierce any darkness that was here. The sound of someone running could be heard, the breaking of branches below their feet as they ran as if they were trying to get away from something. THe one running was a man trying to make it back to the village. The expression on his face was obvious one of a man running for his life, blood stained his clothes as he made his way. His head keep turning to the side to look behind him as he panted heavily. Each time he looked their was nothing but darkness that filled the air and blind anyone with a true vision of darkness. He dodged tree after tree that was in his way as he could see the opening of the forest,it was so close…..for him to get away.

But why was this man running? he saw all his comrades fall one by one in one fell swoop. Up in the tree tops crouching down was the woman known as Mikomi Ariel. Her yellow eyes pierced the darkness as she unsheathed her blade Makengi. This blade was forge using the souls of countless demons to form this single blade. The blade was purple with marks of eyes on the blade surface. Tossing the blade upwards she would use her control over wind to make the blade twirl faster, than with a single movement of that finger she made the blade fly downwards slashing through the trees and branches cutting them clean off. The blade had found its target as the man who would be running would feel the demonic blade pierce right through his body, the force from it making all the blood spill from the front of him onto the ground as he fell forward.

With a leap of faith Mikomi would land on the ground, using the wind to soften her landing for the impact didn’t shatter her bones or something of the like. Her eyes looked towards the body of the man now laying dead. Her steps were silent and soft as she gripped the now dead body by the hair after removing the blade from it’s body of course. She started to make her way to where she was told to meet back up with her guild master. The rustling of tree could be heard as she made it to the opening as soon as Harrigan begun to speak to her.

Dropping the body near the pile of others from the same Mercenary group she would sigh”It’s not a challenge when your target is a loud one….or a coward”she replied to the compliment obviously not as impressed with her handy work but it would settle for now.”So what exactly is our goal of being here if I may ask?”she would question as she pulled out one of the pistols from the holster using her napkin to wipe it off of blood mainly due to her pistol whipping a few of these mercs for fun.

'Well...' replied Harrigan a bit amused 'I assume you are familiar with the term Lycan?'

Lycan, it was the scientific term for people who contracted lycanthropy. A disease or curse as some may say that would give people other worldly abilities. Like increased strength, longevity and most of all. Gave them the power to transform one self into a humanoid wolf being. Much like the werewolf itself. Which off course was an entirely different type of creature then Lycan. Lycans had full control over themselves in so well body and mind, and could transform at will. While a pure bred werewolf, was a feral creature that would hunt for human flesh during a full moon.
Then there was off course the people who contracted the were wolf curse, just by being bitten or scratched. Those people would transform into a werewolf every cycle when the moon was at its fullest. Giving them increased strength just like the lycans. Only with no control over their actions.

Harrigan assumed that Mikomi was more then enough familiar with that very concept, if she believed in it or not that didn't matter.

'Well it just so happens, that a few miles from here there is a small village. Filled with people that have that condition. And it just so happens that tonight is the night that a certain blood moon will rise, making all those who have that specific lycan gene to turn, go feral, and lay waste to anyone they have ever known.
And we my dear, against our better judgement are here to stop that from happening.'

Harrigan assumed she would probably raise an eyebrow when hearing that statement, which wasn't so strange considering the fact that helping almost went against everything Savage Skull stood for. Or it's mages to be more accurate, Savage Skull on itself was just a guild, it were the mages that gave it its purpose. The guild only reflected physically on that intent. Plus there was off course the imminent darkness underneath the hall that fed on their feral intentions.

'Not because for the righteous reasons of saving those mundane fools, but mostly because Lycanthropy is a rare and strange affliction. But from what I heard, it has a feral and raw strength. And as you know, I am always looking for that little bit of extra edge in our ever growing arsenal. Downside is off course, that these villagers trust the Magic Council and their decision to help them out. So they never will help us willingly, knowing that we are from Savage Skull. So we can't kill any of them, or even mention the fact that we are from the notorious guild. To them we will be just another mercenary group.'

Howl from beyond the Grave Empty Re: Howl from beyond the Grave

Post by Mikomi Ariel 2nd June 2015, 9:54 am

Mikomi stood at the edge of the area they were in as her back pressed against one of the nearby trees, her arms crossing over her chest as her gold eyes look forward. Lycans she ran into a few when she was growing up and even one the other day during her break in the spooky forest where they lurked. She slain quite a few of them in her lifetime. She will remain in her position as she thinks of the other day when that girl was getting chased by a Lycan and she killed the thing not to protect the girl who was getting chased by it but mainly because it was making way too much nose for her to relax and catch some sleep for once. Her eyes will shift as they turned towards her guildmaster who she was devoted to,it was because of him she was a leader of one of the pillars just like her younger sister. Some people might ask why Mikomi was even part of Savage Skull, she wasn’t psychotic like the rest...it was mainly killing was a sport for her that was all.

“So were going to a place, where these Lycans pretty much live at and try to prevent a slaughter, this is so not like us….but you're the boss. I gotta say though still not comfortable going into enemy territory like this but if i get to kill something in the process count me in ,you do control my blade Master Harrigan”she will reply respectfully.

She honestly didn’t see a problem with the whole enemy territory thing she went on about, She was a assassin after all it was just natural for her to enter enemy territory to get what she wanted done, because honestly most of her targets were in enemy territory but she always got the job done. Her hand would reach up as she push a strand of hair behind her ear as a smile spread on her face in the process. She was more so amused about this situation mainly due to the fact her Master was accompanying her more than anything.

Her eyebrow twitched at the mention of the next part, she wanted to slay some of them at least for sport but she couldn’t do that. A soft sigh will leave her lips as she was a assassin who killed for the guild, but now she had to capture or subdue without using anything fatal this might be a bit difficult after all.”I understand, but really we can slay none of them…..here i wanted a fur coat made of lycan fur...as a reward but i guess i can keep my blade clean for now”she would reply.

Howl from beyond the Grave Empty Re: Howl from beyond the Grave

Post by Cecile 8th June 2015, 5:13 am

'Well... accidents do happen off course.' replied Harrigan with a smile 'I mean it can't be helped if it's self defense right'

Off course it was strange for a Savage Skull member, considering the fact that they were dark mages. That took slaughter and killer as mundane as going out to buy some groceries. Even Harrigan had to admit he wasn't so accustomed by a game that wasn't playing by his own rules, but that was sometimes how it was. Sometimes you had to avoid slaughter to gain an advantage.

The small party of Savage Skull soldiers, mages and even a few Garm continued onwards after they had looted everything of worth from the mercenaries corpses. Slowly leading Harrigan and Mikomi through the remained of the forest, until they reached a small trail that lead through the obvious illuminating lights in the distance that could only belong to the their destined village.

While gazing down the path, Harrigan came to the easy understanding why this place was dubbed the Haunted Village. Even the small path had an eerie and mysterious vibe. Grim even, as the trees had their branches hanging over the path. As long arm with claw like extension, that felt as if they were ready to grab anyone that was foolish enough to venture this deep.

'How macabre...' the master thought to himself.

Instinctively the soldiers would form a formation around Harrigan and Mikomi, making sure that if there was an attack coming from the shadows between the trees. That it wouldn't reach the most important players in the guild right away.
Which forced their walking speed down even more.

Harrigan glared from his eye sockets over to Mikomi, knowing very well that this speed, these formations weren't her style. She was an assassin, a merciless killer that struck from the unknown. A woman that was even more at home in the actual dead of night then any mythical creature of that infamy would be.
Harrigan as well had to admit that this was going to take a while. Sure he understood the fact that it's better to be safe then sorry. But still, the night would be upon them soon enough. And with that the moon, he'd rather didn't spent to much time here.

'Mikomi' he eventually said after the silent walk 'Go scout ahead, and see if you can dig up some useful information.'
