Blood lust filling the mind of both Indar and the wolf, as the most random staring contest too place. At the same time Aedre was taking down another one of this overly resistant mutts, the Pillar of Annihilation was enjoying the staring. It was causing massive tension between him and his opponent, forcing both of them still, not wanting to attack before the other.

But just as it was seemingly losing all interest in a fight, the wolf lunged forward, surprising Indar more than he would want to admit. It managed to knock the man down onto his back, locking it's foaming mouth on the man's shoulder. The teeth of the beast digging deep into Indar's shoulder, ripping apart his flesh, thankfully not able to break his bones. Not even a grunt game from the man though, not a single sound. He had the beast in a good spot now, an unexpected spot, but a good one nonetheless.

Ilvren slowly moved up next to the wolf, as it was biting down on the man's shoulder still. Suddenly a howl came from the wolf, Ilvren's blades had ripped into it's side, cutting open it's side and stomach, causing more pain to it than it could have ever done to Indar. Sending a kick into it's belly, the man sent the wolf backwards, freeing the Void mage stuck underneath. But this wasn't the end to the fight, as a growl was let loose from the beast. Blood dripping down it's side and from it's teeth, it had gotten the taste of Indar's flesh onto it's tongue and now there was nothing going to stop it from wanting another juicy bite out of the man.

A grin appeared onto the Savage mage's face, as his hand moved over the bite mark, the beast had left a reasonable hole into him, tearing away both his flesh and clothes, the man seemed a lot more worried about his jacket and shirt, than the bleeding wound. It wouldn't be a worry to him though, as the power of the void would keep him alive from any illness he may contact and the bleeding wasn't serious enough to worry about it.

Cracking his knuckles, Indar walked forward towards the werewolf, not seemingly showing any care towards the weakened monster anymore. This was indeed the case, he didn't care one bit about any injury any more, all he wanted to do, was to subdue this wolf.

    If I fall back down
    you're gonna help me back
    ---up again
the air's too dense to breathe, bury me underneath the graveyard of bitter grief. 'Cause they forsake and leave me, feeling so deceived, I ain't never got no belief. Can't find nowhere to go. There's just a sense of vertigo. A bitter blow. Circling high and low, in the darkest shadow. Nothing ever seems to follow. All the memories rotten, all the name's that are forgotten. I'm gonna fight and survive; that's the way I feel alive; by froding to darkness.
The arcane circles pulsated with a burst of red energy, as a smirk bloomed on its caster's lips - and with an ear-splitting noise of eruption, a dense beam of magic was issued from the center of both the magic signatures. The naked eye could hardly discern their travelling speed as the beams shot forth in the wolf's direction and burst out as an explosion, sending waves of Spacial energy rolling and clashing in the air. The other wolves that had been circling the woman until now felt the remaining impact of the spell, as Aedre could observe them sliding a few inches back from the corner of her eye.

However, most of her thoughts revolved around the distinct victim of her attack and not the resultant collateral damage. There was a high chance that she had miscalculated its endurance and used a spell that was way out of its league in the situation. While she waited for the dust to settle around her already mauled opponent, Aedre could see a group of three wolves stepping up for an assault on her. That was the warning bell for the redhead as she well nigh understood that her adversaries will no longer dance solo. They had recognized her capability for what it was - a crushing hammer, and the only way to deal with such a force was grouping up with allies and raising above a certain bar of co-ordination.

The woman knew that she would have to deal with three of them at the same time, which, considering their level of ferocity and nimbleness, was a formidable task. While the beasts crouched low, the tough muscles of their legs contracting to fuel a well-timed pounce at the female mage; her hands opened up on either sides - causing arcane circles to burst open beneath her opponents' position. The wolves hardly noticed the light that swathed them in red, for a breath later, they pushed off their padded feet and into the air. But their calculations faltered by an inch.

While they sprung towards Aedre, several tentacles had shot forth from the magic circles and hit their bodies with massive force, causing them to fall back on the ground - letting the coils of coalesced Space to hold down their limbs to the earth. While they growled and fought back in an attempt to free themselves from the twisting hold, their assailant clapped her outstretched hands together; triggering three explosions that were muted due to bursting off so close to the creatures' bodies - but maimed them regardless.

And as the three wolves tried standing up on bleeding and fractured limbs, Aedre stole a glance at her last victim, letting out a relieved sigh at the sight of albeit bloody, but shallow breathing.

The beast only growling, starting to fear, as it realized the chances to bring Indar down had dwindled away and it was now staring into the face of death. Thankfully for it, the man had remembered the contract that was made, no killing, so the wolf would survive. But if it had been any other day and any other contract, the howling beast would be laying in a puddle of it's blood in a couple of seconds.

As Indar hadn't got a chance now, he had to subdue the werewolf, the man walked closer and just sent a kick into the wolf's face, forcing it into the dirt. It could now sleep off it's injuries and wait for the morning, when it can turn back into it's human self and keep being a baker or something. Whatever it had been before this transformation that is. Thankfully the person in the wolf skin, would not turn back for some time, if they did, Indar would personally make sure, that the next time they turned, there wasn't going to be a turning back.

After dealing the his opponent, the Void Mage took a look around. There were still quite a few wolves running around, but nothing Aedre and him couldn't handle. Talking about Aedre, it seemed that she was handling herself quite well, much better than Indar anyway. The man having a gaping wound on his shoulder, where the sharp teeth of a beast had ripped out a chunk of his flesh, like it had been nothing at all. At least it didn't hinder his combat ability right now, as Ilvren didn't need to be actually held, more so guided in a direction of the enemy.

There was no time to be wasted though, these wolves would need to be dealt with. So the Pillar of Annihilation moved forward, ready to take on another patch of man eaters. It would be a little harder now, as the damage had been done to his body and fatigue would kick in sooner or later. These beasts may be ready to deal out more damage anyway and there seemed to be a bigger one around somewhere, as louder foot steps were easily heard around the buildings, down the main street of the village. Though, as long as the bigger one didn't show up, they'd need to beat down the small fry first.

Two wolves suddenly dived in front of Indar, not giving him much time to react, but to get Ilvren in front of him, to block a massive swipe, from the knife sharp claws. These two were to become the man's new opponents or more like his new play mates, as their fate was sealed. In a little bit, they'd be lying in the mud, next to their friends, close to death.

Her belief was simple and crystal clear to understand; the first one to stand up would be the most stubborn. It would be the one denying the flinch and bite of pain, the one who loves to be the leader, the one who strives to steal the show, the one who'll fall before anyone else. Extending her hand towards the sky, palm facing up, the redhead made a crimson arcane circle to bloom open - as two discs made of condensed Space levitated into existence. Pulsating for a split second, they whizzed through the air, seeking out the lone wolf who'd struggled to its feet by now. It was a strong gash in the torso at first, while the second one crossed over it, inflicting a deeper cut that induced a flow of thick and warm blood. The creature hardly registered the blows as it lost blood at an alarmingly rate, with it catching the pain and the cruel itch at the dozenth cut. It pranced around in a hurry, trying to avoid the two blades that were hell-bent on designing its fur coat in a series of beautiful and bloody motifs.

Aedre had already shifted her attention to the other two, who shivered onto their legs while another magic circle marked its place over the red-head's dominant hand. She brought it down in an arcing motion, flicking her wrist gracefully, and a whip of coalesced Space trickled into her grip. It was shaped like a miniature tornado, thin and sleek within her fingers and sufficiently thick on the other end - all the while, swirling at a speed that the naked eye could hardly discern. Whipping the ground once, the woman expertly slashed around with her magically-induced weapon; pouring malice in each merciless strike on the opponent's fragile body. Flesh blistered, bruised, cut and bled under her attacks, while bones cracked and gave way to painful howls of agony. She was losing count of the trauma afflicted.

However, when Aedre raised her arm for another hit on the canine to her right, she felt a sharp jerk on the other side, a movement that was unexpected. Several teeth dug into her calf, blood oozing out as the beast pulled the flesh at a feverish pace. The woman's left left palm opened in its direction, as a wild swirl of Space collected beneath the wolf and shot upwards almost unprecedentedly - throwing its crude figure a few feet away. A wince decorated the female's features, while she called for an explosion beneath the thrown off wolf and a few others on the crucial organs of the other canine.

Jumping back, avoiding two more claw swipes from the two massive beasts, Indar's mind was now fully focused. His thoughts were jumbled up before, but all the bloodshed had kicked something online in his brain, his blood lust wanted to show itself. So these two mammals, who seemingly felt very confident in their chances to take down the blonde haired mage, would feel the wrath of a Void Mage come down onto them, like a massive hammer.

As the wolves let out another growl towards the man, Indar only smiled, brightly at that, as his hair moved in the wind. It was quite the cinematic moment, but it ended, as the Pillar of Annihilation lunged forward at the beasts, Ilvern's blades glistening in the light of the full moon. When the blade hit, scarping away flesh and skin from one of the monsters, blood splattered all over the place, covering Indar as well. Blood landing onto the man's face, made him just go more berserk among the wolves, managing to hit both of the beasts two more times.

But there was always a bad side to going berserk, the retaliation of the damage. As his attacks had landed, one of the wolves bit into the man's leg, deep at that, going almost to the bone. And if that wasn't enough, the other wolf managed to hit Indar straight in the face, with it's massive paw, the claws attached to the paw, leaving behind three deep cuts, over the left cheek of Indar. This was a damaging blow, but at this point, it was a hindrance more than anything. The man couldn't let himself fall now, not with Aedre around, this would just ruin his reputation in the guild. Losing to some wolves, was no way for a pillar to be, so whatever damage and injury he took, now was the time to break out of it and deal with the pain.

Smacking the wolf whose teeth were in his leg, into it's face, the beast broke off. Sadly, one of it's teeth broke as well, leaving a tooth piece into Indar's leg, one which had to be taken out later. But at least he was free from the bite, so now, it was time to cause more and more and more damage to these two doggies.

Indar stood up between the two beasts, looking at one, then the other, it was a weird respect between them now, one that is usually between enemies, who are equal.

I'm gonna fight and survive; that's the way I feel alive; by froding to darkness.
A high-pitched shriek of a howl reverberated through the thick layer of humid, night air - decorating the woman's features with a deep cringe. It was all thanks to her prior training as a Slayer, for Aedre was extra sensitive to sharp notes; and though the sprightly set of powers had vanished as swiftly as honey's aroma in the midst of a crude typhoon, the innate abilities of it stuck to her. After all, they were in direct relation to her training, rather than what aura seeped through her veins or which form of nature she held in the palm of her hand. Speaking of sensory magnification, the red-head could smell and sense another creature hiding in the billowing curtains of shadows; perhaps lurking on the outskirts of the village square. She could feel the cold aura pressing into the air and the rusty smell of fresh blood swiftly floating in the air. Another beast was likely to show up soon, and he would definitely be a worthy opponent, 'I feel it.'

Her lithe hand aimed at the sky once again, initiating another spell while her freshly-bitten foot was jerked in a bid to numb the pain that surged through the layer of skin that was previously devoid of any abhorrence. Now it would have deep imprints of canine teeth that she could show off like a tattoo, "How fun." The thought found utterance in her lips, pumped with untouched sarcasm. The young Crawford wasn't so proud of battle-wounds until it held sentimental weightage; and a bunch of rabid puppies sure as hell didn't matter to her.

A magic circle bloomed open above the beast who lay nearest to her, as an octagonal arrangement of spheres were brought to life above its limp body. They pulsated in impeccable unison, before bursting off into an explosion that could be felt as rolling vibrations in the air. By that time, the other canine that was being taught a lesson by swishing discs of coalesced Space was on its feet. Somehow it was sturdily fighting back, slashing away the chakrams with its sharp claws and taking minimal damage. Aedre's blood-red irises rested on his adamant moves for a moment or two, before she snapped the fingers of her dominant hand - creating two arcane circles on the dorsal and ventral sides of her adversary's body and causing a concentrated blast on his already bleeding and wasted frame.

The woman turned around the moment she witnessed it hitting the floor with a dull thump, just like the one who absorbed her prior attack, 'Only one more to go.'

Equal..., no that wasn't the right word. Indar didn't consider himself to be equal with these rabid beasts, who's only goal in life, seemed to be to feed. Such a primordial instinct to have, they should have grown out of it by now, but guess not. Dealing with beasts, that only ran by their instinct was genuinely simple, as you just needed to act directly opposite to their instinct to hunt, to feed, to kill. Basically, just be strong enough and scary enough, that the wolves take you as stronger than them, after which, slaying them will be child's play.

So this is what Indar did, standing up as tall as he could, trying to appear bigger, to emphasize his power, which sort of worked. The rabid beasts weren't trying to bite off his flesh and crush his bones at least, so that was progress. But not in the way the man had wanted, his want was to end the lives of these poor animals, though it went against his contract with the coward of a mayor. Knocking them out would have to be enough, to satisfy the blood lust of the Pillar of Annihilation.

Forgetting his thoughts to appear more threatening and becoming a literal threat, Indar sent a kick into the face of one of the were wolves, as his blades cut deep into the back of the other, causing both of the wolves to yelp out in pain. Two on one was cheating and unfair, but, was a lot more fun for the solo fighter, especially, if they were someone like Indar. A mage drowned in the pool of insanity, forged by death and molded by the void. Someone, who would kill, without a blink of an eye. A person, these two humans gone primal, wouldn't want to mess with.

To emphasis that face, Indar's weapon glowed and teleported him right behind one of the two wolves, after which, he rammed two of the blades into it's back, missing it's spine by only an inch. A cut that would deem this wolf out of battle, hopefully that is. But just for good measure, the man landed a powerful kick into it's back legs, knocking the beast down into the mud. This only left the other massive wolf, who seemed confused about the teleportation, but after seeing it's friend get knocked down, it let out a powerful growl, starting to run straight towards Indar.

The fight was just going on, not ending yet.

the air's too dense to breathe, bury me underneath the graveyard of bitter grief.
She slid the sword from the scabbard that rested firmly on her hip; admiring the weapon's wondrous detail for a second or two. Azalea, as it was christened, was none less than a masterpiece of art and blade forgery from the deepest corners of Ca-Elum. A blade that sat in its wielder's hand more ready to kill than anything else; a holy relic in the midst of battle. It wasn't a mere showpiece of power and skill in the art of blades, but it was locked in the necessities of the present, never in reminiscences, and its purpose remained unchanged for as long as it held an edge fine enough for battle; fine enough to kill.

The redhead brought the blade up before her eyes; emerald pools of optics inspecting the sharp edge of the blade. In her hands, the sword had become more than an instrument of battle. It was an extension of her rage, her answer to an existence she was meant to take down. If it paid her well and arranged for a good night's sleep in silk-linen, the young Crawford had no qualms in taking down even the potentate of Fiore.

The hilt of the blade rolled in the grip of her hand, as she paced softly to the canine that stood alone in the village square, while a couple of its companions fought the blonde-haired man that Aedre had tagged along with to this god-forsaken village, 'We can get out soon.' Her thoughts murmured with a spark of optimism while the twin of the sword appeared in her other hand.

There were no more statements to be made, nothing more to be observed, so her body responded with the slithering motion of a bolt in the beasts' direction, as Aedre came on in a flurry of cuts and stabs that put her adversary immediately on the defensive. Interweaving with uncanny precision, each blade seemed to anticipate the other's moves and whirred about in perfect complement. But the wolf dodged the first few cuts and launched a fierce counter of its own. It was a claw swipe knifing straight at her heart; to which Aedre retaliated by leaping aside and slapping at the paw in sheer desperation, narrowly avoiding impalement at the hands of the canine. She had slammed the arm with such savage power that the wolf's bones tingled and it jerked ahead in a bid to bite off the ambidextrous woman's hand - only to fail terribly when she jumped back and plunged one of the blades into its spine. It was most certainly a foolproof attack, for the female mage had purposely hit the jack-pot of sweet spots.

The wolf charging at the man, furious and having lost control over the most common of senses. It didn't care for itself now, most of it's friends, family, comrades, were lying in the dirt and dust around Indar and Aedre. A total bloodshed had happened here, though, no death weirdly. Death and Savage Skull went hand to hand usually, but not here, not even when the Second in Command and the Pillar of Annihilation of Savage Skull fought together. A contract bound them not to kill these rabid beasts, something which Indar would have done if not for a deal.

But now, at this moment, Ilvren glistened in the moon light, it's blades dripping in the blood of were wolves, as it shot downwards, cutting into the wolf, who had now reached near Indar, but being totally blood lusted, didn't have a chance anymore. It's attacks had become reckless, uncontrollable and sloppy, which made the fight easy for the man. Much easier than before at least, the beasts used to have some type of tactic to help, but guess this one had broken under pressure or it felt fear. Whatever the cause was, it wasn't helping the puppy fight at all and made him give up his chance to beat the man.

And it's chances vanished, with a powerful kick into it's nose, causing the beast to whimper in pain, as Indar's blade was driven into it's back, forcing the wolf onto the muddy ground beneath. The animal hadn't got an ounce of fight in it anymore, as it was just breathing quietly, not a danger to anyone anymore.

The man turned his back to the animal, letting it rest now, maybe during the next full moon, it could try to kill a Savage again, but now, it had lost the fight. In a stupid way, but how much can you hope from a rapid animal, who works only on his instinct to fight. But now, Indar's eyes turned to Aedre, seeing her finish off another wolf. It seemed to be all of them in the near vicinity, which was a good change of pace.

''Sooo... have all the puppies ran back to their mother or what?'' Indar's voice echoed over the town square the fighting had happened on. It was an empty area now, a creepy one for most people, especially at a time like this, with the moon lighting up the area. And well, the massive werewolves running around. But well, that's what it was.

The beast staggered on its otherwise firm footing, as undulating swells of pain ran through its body when the woman pulled out the sword from the makeshift scabbard of the creature's body. It barred its strong jaw at her, while bending down slightly; allowing the magus to figure out an oncoming attack, 'A leap, perhaps?' She mused, as the blade rolled with swift expertise in her grip and was held above her head - its tip ready to plunge into the creature the second it moved even a muscle.

It came as a sleek hop, the wolf's ferocious maw wide to taste the woman's blood just like its friend did - no longer than a couple of seconds ago. There was nothing more than a feet that seperated them, so when the bound was high above her arm, the redhead had no choice but to dodge to a side with a roll of her body. The moment she turned back to face the beast, its footing had settled strongly on the ground and she just couldn't waste that opportunity - that moment of distraction when it gyrated and prepared for a second attack.

The ashen swords in her hand shone in the streaks of moonlight; pulsating with a pressing, claret ambiance, which were only shoved into the canister of soft earth and put out like a flame. There was a wave of rumble that spread from the young Crawford's position and it violently shook the attention of the creature she was up against; like verdant leaves in the midst of frazil zephyrs that billowed across the land. The beast froze into its place, its ears and hair perking up at the premonition. A gush of gale metastasized, only to be followed by whirls and ribbons of Space swiveling from the point of injection of the blades and spreading out furiously. It embraced the canine in its harrowing arms, silencing a howl of anguish and affliction in a moment's notice - only calming down when the creature was cold on the earth, as nothing but plumes of dust floated restlessly around it.

A red circle with a massive diameter had been traced on the floor, a sign of the spell still being active and within it, had entered a creature at the epitome of terrifying opulence. It has snuck in from the shadows; a bipedal behemoth of canines, 'The Omega that the sheet spoke of.' Aedre guessed, feeling the wolf's formidable aura seep into the very air and reach her with the message, 'Here is a wonderful opponent, Aedre.'

"Sooo... have all the puppies ran back to their mother or what?"

"More like, the mother just rushed to her puppies' aid."

The small shock waves made by the massive beast walking, caught Indar totally off guard, it was almost like nothing he had seen before. The size of it out rivaled the Garms of Savage Skull even, and those things were quite huge, for canines. But the Omega, was out classing Indar for sure, he would struggle with the beast if left alone, thankfully, the second in command of the guild the man was part of, was with him. A Second in Command, that Indar really liked. With her help, the Omega should go down with more ease, but most likely would still cause a lot of annoyance and problems for the two mages of Savage Skull. The only question in this fight, would be how fast the Omega goes down, not if it goes down.

But for now, as the beast seemed more reluctant to charge in like mad, Indar fell into thought, as his blood lust faded away. This job had gone easily enough for now, aside from the minor injuries both of the young mages had suffered at the claws and fangs of these wolves. Though these injuries weren't anything special, at least not for Savage Skull mages, seeing these wounds and bearing them, was something everyone joining the guild known for being Savage had to get used to. Indar had grown most comfortable with them, and from what he saw, Aedre wasn't phased by them either. So the injuries would prove to be of no hindrance against this mother of wolves, this big mammal of destruction, this wolf of annihilation, this large mutt, this massive beast, this queen of canines, this human gone full primal. That was enough ways to name the Omega in Indar's head for some reason, for a reason he couldn't quite understand.

His attention turned to the woman standing next to him. She seemed combat ready, much more than Indar as well, as the man more so seemed to be in his every day attire, starting to fight a wolf capable of biting off his head. And he was just in a jacket, t-shirt and jeans, not fitting attire at all, weird that he only noticed this now, but oh well. Wasn't going to change his wardrobe now. But well, this T-shirt, now half ripped, would be more of a hindrance in the fight, so before going all out, the man took off his jacket and T-shirt, exposing himself a little. Dropping the ripped shirt into the dirt, Indar pulled his jacket back on, looking a little bit different now. Hopefully, Aedre wouldn't mind this.

She tried her best not to blink, not falter at the actions of her subordinate and her face assumed a pained expression of nonchalance; one that twitched every other second or so. It was not as if Aedre hadn't witnessed half-naked men before, or completely naked, for that matter. But those were times when she was prepared, when the person on the other end was expected to do what they did, or just because they were that kind of a person. But the Pillar of Annihilation pulling off such an outlandish move unsettled the flame-haired female a notch above what she would anticipate of herself.

Only a waft of warm air escaped her lips, accompanied by a sign of non-commitance; a shrug, as she raised both her hands to the sky and summoned two circles of arcane on both ends. The dual discs would pulsate as Aedre closed her eyes assiduously and for some reason, reprimanded her consciousness for taking notice of the blonde's actions.

"Please engage this creature for a second." She articulated softly, eyes still closed, but the order obviously directed towards her aide - her half naked aide. No doubt, it was of utmost importance that she got better control of herself, or well, the more normal bit of herself. Years of being kingpinned only to the idea of capturing power and fame had an adverse effect on the young woman; to the point she had forgotten that she was only human, that she could actually feel about people, rather than just subjugate people. The thought of even mere attraction had flown out of the window years ago. Sure, there were a few flings here and there, a sprinkling of admiring looks from her side regarding someone's appeal, but those were all people that she wouldn't need to fuss over. Just trees you pass by on a road-side; nothing worth much of your time. However, this young man here, had just earned that sprinkling of admiration and he was someone she had to fuss over. He had been in Savage Skull for years now and he was a Pillar; someone who worked directly under her. They passed each other in the corridors of the guild almost every other day, it'd be sure as hell awkward if she had even a spark of daydreaming in her eyes.

'Ugh.' A let-down of a word echoed in her head, by when the arcane circles had multiplied themselves by ten-folds, arranged in a hollow hemisphere which had its gaping maw pointed at the Omega. Enlightening herself with vision again, Aedre brought her hands down again, moving to reclaim her twin swords from their chassiss of tussock once again; only to send them spiraling into nothingness, "Let's do this the ritzy-glitzy way." She muttered, while another spell boiled between her hands, as she chose to try her best and turn a blind eye to the dilemma that hammered her head.
