Stealing Fudge Recepies (What a drag)

Objectives:

Feitan sighed heavily as he walked into the bakery of this client. He had heard this man was after something that his competitor had, and this was the perfect opportunity for Feitan to not only steal something, but also make a little money for himself. Feitan walked up to the counter as the baker looked at him with a wary look "Can I help you?" The mage shook his head lightly "No, but I can help you with what you want most. Now how much we talking for a payment?"

The baker acted confused, but he said "Well if I can have it before he returns in about a week then 1,500 is not unreasonable. Deal?"

He shrugged as he turned around "I don't know what you're talking about, but you'll have it before closing time tonight." With that he left the bakery and headed to his target location with a smile on his face although it was covered by his mask.

It didn't take Feitan long to arrive at the Bakery. The owner had closed it down while he was away for whatever reason, and this was the perfect chance for the thief. He walked around to the alleyway that was on one side of the store. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a can and opened it up. Inside of it were these thin, smelly fish known to all as Sardines.

He picked one up and swallowed it down with one gulp sticking his tongue out as it went down "These things are the most revolting food I've ever tasted." he said rather annoyed before he spoke again "Time to go." Slowly his upper torso began to change and his cloak also changed. Soon it was black and red with a crimson red bobble to hold it together. He looked up at the roof and smirked "Easy." with that the cloak formed behind him as two wings and they began to lift him up into the air.

As he touched down on the roof it didn't take him long to discover the large vent that opened up in the store. He walked over to it and sighed as the cloak wrapped tightly around him. He climbed into the vent system and began to crawl through it groaning slightly to himself. Thankfully this thing was shut off so he wouldn't burn or freeze to death, but this was not his idea of fun. It took him only a few minutes to find an exit. He kicked it open with all his might and climbed down into the office he had managed to find himself in. This is where the recipe would definitely be hidden.

He walked around to scan the room frowning as there was no obvious location for a vault, or a safe to be hidden. He found a filing cabinet, but all it contained was just ordinary business paperwork. However when Feitan began to check the desk he noticed that one of the drawers was entirely empty. That didn't make any sense, the other drawers were filled with items, but this one had been purposely left empty.

He frowned as he began to press on the bottom of the drawer and actually felt it give way. He rolled his eyes as he realized that the bottom was only a fake. He pushed towards the back of the drawer to lift up the piece of wood. it came up rather easily and once it did it revealed the good sized book that it was hiding. The book had a clear label that read "Recipes" The thief picked it up and began to thumb through the rather large tome in his hands.

Of all the reciepes however there was only one that was labeled "Fudge Recipe" clearly this man was proud of this one. So Feitan simply, but carefully ripped it out of the book and folded it up to put it in his pocket. With the prize in his possession he looked out the window and smirked as he saw the alleyway was in shadow. He stepped into a corner and wrapped the cloak around himself. After a moment he felt the breeze outside and stepped out of the shadow walking back to the shop of his client. With a wicked smirk on his face.

It took him only a few more minutes of walking to arrive at the location of his client. Truthfully this job was far too easy for the payment however that wasn't a concern nor priority for the thief. He was here to get paid, and so long as he got the money that was agreed on he wouldn't have to hurt anyone. As he arrived however he looked at the man who was his client with a frown. He was conducting regular business so Feitan went and hid behind a standing shelf.

When the guest left he made his approach holding the folded up piece of parchment in his fingers with a smirk that went unseen "I have what you want, and you have something I want." he said as he placed the item on the counter. The chef took it and looked it over smiling nodding his head "So I do." he pulled up a brown paper bag and set it on the counter "Thank you come again." he said rather cheefully. Feitan pulled the bag down and opened it counting the money with a wide smile "I will indeed. Nice doing business with you." With all 1,500 jewels in his bag he turned and left without another word.
