    Stealing Something. Empty Stealing Something.

"You need to make sure nobody sees you," said the Executive Chef.
"And try not to make such an impression," the Sous-Chef added. "This is really serious. Unless you get this recipe for us, we're screwed."
"No worries. I'll get the goods," replied the Tartarus Mage. He walked out of the kitchen, and into the alleys, where he knew where the "goods" were being kept. He had to make sure nobody would see him doing what he was going to do, or he wouldn't get proper payment.

The Tartarus Mage kept dawdling by, ignoring everything in his direction. Only when he saw two Rune Knights was he a little afraid. Nikolai made sure to stay out of their vision field, for they would arrest him for sure should they find out what he was going to do. Nikolai then continued walking, accelerating in step speed over time until he was literally running. He managed to get to the house where the goods were being kept.

When the Tartarus Mage got to the house, he noticed the door was locked. He patted down the rug under his feet, where he found a spare key. Nikolai made sure to keep the opening as quiet as possible except when the door creaked upon opening. He left the door open as he walked in, seeing an intricate kitchen. He began checking everywhere for the object of vantage, sweeping through ovens, lights, and blenders to see if the chef would hide it there. But to no avail! Nikolai didn't see it. Now on to the living room, I guess. When Nikolai walked into the living room, he saw a flat-screen television which he checked for the recipe for fudge. He didn't find it, but did find an EnergyGuide pamphlet that was about the television itself. Nikolai then went to the coffee table, looking in every magazine that was in it, making sure to neatly place it in order afterwards.

Nikolai began checking the underside of the coffee table, where he began coughing due to the amount of dust. He still didn't see the damn recipe! Nikolai skimmed through the living room once more, before going upstairs, where he saw a bathroom and bedroom. Nikolai looked first through the bathroom, examining the vanity cabinet, where he saw cleaning supplies. Still no recipe! Nikolai was getting agitated. He looked through the shower, opening the head to see a little paper entitled "Best Fudge Recipe EVAR". About damn time too! Nikolai put everything back in place and looked out the window, where he saw two Rune Knights examining the open door. Goddamn it! Nikolai had left the door open when he entered, incurring the Rune Knights' suspicion. Nikolai had to get out of there before they came upstairs. He slipped into the bedroom where he saw a window leading into the alley.

Nikolai looked around to see if there was anyone who would see if he jumped out. The Tartarus Mage slowly opened the window, feeling the cross breeze push his mane of hair backwards. He put one foot outside, and the other followed so that he was sitting on the pane of the window. He slid forwards, so that his hands were latching on to the pane now, and dropped down, falling on to an old mattress, which, lucky for him, broke his fall. He walked to the edge of the wall, and looked to see three Rune Knights examining the door that he had just opened. Now was his time to make a hasty retreat. The Tartarus Mage took one leap of faith over to another building, just barely evading the Rune Knights' vision. He began walking casually, with the recipe in his jacket, as if though nothing had happened. Good thing he closed the window before he jumped down! Nikolai continued walking, with his teeth grinding at the possibility that the enforcer Rune Knights might find out what he had done. However, he could go into hiding like he usually does. Nikolai then walked to a shop, where he bought a cheeseburger for a surprisingly expensive amount of money. He then continued walking, where he saw fudge. It just happened to be the fudge whose recipe the Tartarus Mage just stole a couple minutes ago! He bought one block, and walked out eating it. "No wonder that chef wants to steal it so much," he thought as he consumed the chocolate goodness, making sure to lick his fingers afterwards(he had already finished the cheeseburger). Nikolai saw the employer's house a couple blocks down, and began running, where he tripped over a fire hydrant. He finally walked into the man's house, where he quickly gave the recipe to the executive chef and ran out.
