Personality: Raiden can be described by others simply as "old fashioned". His well mannered speech,chivalrousness(towards a lady he likes)and arrogantly charming demeanor can sometimes make Raiden out to be a snobbish aristocrat. Calm and cool in almost all situations thus Raiden is often times seen as a man who is unshaken by what the world throws at him, be it mentally or physically and thus can be looked to when its time to make the tough calls that require more logical approach. However this is just thee outside persona that Raiden puts on to shield his mental struggles from coming to light.

Once someone finally gets threw the first layer they begin to see why he is truly the way he is. A man to whom is damaged, a man who has used his dark childhood to mold himself into a man who could no longer be broken. A man who walks a path of solitude for its the only way he can come to terms with what happened to him, why he had to be the one to die so his family could keep they're wealth, why such a thing was even considered. Bottling all that anger, hate, despair and heartache  to only release it on his enemies.

Being a man whom was disowned by his family and left for dead Raiden struggles to trust. whether it be those who call him comrade or simply the person walking down the street he is always on his guard and ready to be a full on skeptic to those who try to attain his trust. More so growing up he often felt alone and out of place, even with his caretaker who provided and protected him until he came of age Raiden still felt that the man had an ulterior motive for his actions and thus never grew attached to him nor cared. But this is not to say that Raiden's trust is unattainable..just damn hard.

Even with his always lurking skepticism of people true intentions Raiden is still a person capable of caring. Truly in his heart of hearts he wants someone he can depend on, someone who is strong and can stand next to him in the heat of any battle. Someone who's fear does not cause them to shutter but fuels them to strike back. A person to tell stories of his many deeds and some of there own, basically..a person he can whole heartily trust without reservation, skepticism or linger doubt for they themselves have proven so.

Even with a damaged heart n broken trust Raiden has still managed to find some solace in himself. His pride as a warrior. Raiden refuses to be weak, to be powerless in the face of his enemies or whatever stands in the way. This can sometimes give him to the outlook of being regal,egotistical or full of pride. All in all Raiden is a man who will never back down, shows no fear even in the face of death(for he was already on the doorstep once) and will distrust almost everyone while still managing to open a door for a lady.
In battle

In battle- When it comes to fighting Raiden is a man of little words and even less mercy. He has no qualms of gender nor age once someone is perceived as the enemy and will do what is necessary to take them down. Most of the time his plan is to size up his opponents, throw them off they're game or in some rare cases simply beat them until they can no longer fight. The however will only happen if Raiden see so much potential in them that it would be considered a waste to kill them this early or if the person shows honor in and outside of battle to which Raiden feels like the world is in need of such people.

Raiden is always confident in his abilities in battle, often times fighting alone because of such. Other reason being is that Raiden being your typical loner he does not want to feel responsible for anyone else's well being but his own. This will lead him to shun most away even if he know they can be useful and often times has to be forced to play with others by either irrefutable truth or sheer dire circumstance.

With a team- To put it simply Raiden does not play well with others. Most of the time he still acts like he is fighting by himself. However when he put his own pride aside he can be quite a terror with a teammate, especially if its one he knows and trust. Raiden also is prone to take on the role of the attacker more then the support or defensive stance. There is one thing that Raiden does understand when fighting with a team but it is also something that he hates, looking out for one another. He may not act like it most of the time but Raiden would not simply let a teammate die in front of him. To him the moment he accepted being in a team was the moment that everyone is such team became his charge.

As a Leader-Raiden leads in a rather militaristic fashion, being that he wants all those under his command to follow his orders to the T. He is a bit more open minded when it comes to commanding for now his job is to make sure everyone comes home safely, whether he makes it or not. The type of people he would agree to command are those he trust without a doubt and has seen combat with them on more then one occasion. But more so Raiden is as hard on his subordinates as he is on himself, never allow them to skip on bettering themselves in the body, mind or soul.
Likes:

• Martial Arts- Raiden is not one to simply rely on his magical skill for sometimes all you need to do is give a swift kick to the head or a punch to the gut to get the job done.
  
• Knowledge- To a mage there should be nothing more important then this. Without such there is no room for growth in body or in mind.
  
• Beef Jerky- Mmm jerky, but seriously its his all time favorite snack that can be easily stored and if cured to perfection can satisfy his hunger for quite awhile.
  
• The Finer things in Life- Raiden was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth so when the chance to try foods or drinks of a higher pallet comes around he is more then willing to try them. He also has a thing for fine attire, saying "There are things in this world that one should never be cheap with"
  

Dislikes:

• The Lazy- There is only one thing worse then a lazy person and that is a lazy person who complains about having nothing. Nothing in this world in simply given for free and no on should think otherwise.
  
• Those who lack Honor- Whether its attack a person from behind or picking on the weak Raiden is not one to stand for it. This is not to say that he will leap to the rescue of any helps person, but if said person showed strength and determination to never give in then he would be more then obliged to help such a person.
  
• Beansprouts- If there is one thing to consider when serving Raiden food its this, please for the love of all things make sure there are no beansprout in or made with his food. If such a thing is found out no matter how long ago or how little the amount Raiden will track down said chef as if his life depended on it and beat him a close to death as possible.
  

Motivations:

• Renown- Just like most mages Raiden wants to be one of the best at what he does, having his name know across Fiore and beyond.
  
• Seeing the world- Fiore is a place with much to offer but there are still lands beyond, creatures beyond and glory to be had. From the great forest to the busy cities Raiden want to see the all...but he wont tell anyone that.
  
• To attain his "True power"-Raiden has a dream to attain the power of a dragonslayer, specifically the lightning dragonslayer. Whether it be by lacrima or the dragon itself Raiden will always covet such a power as his one true goal.
  

Fears:

• Being powerless- The one thing Raiden fears most is being powerless in the face of danger. To throw everything you have, to try you hardest and yet still being to weak to rise above to challenge.
  
• Ankylophobia- Fear of immobility of a joint.
  
• An Early Death- Raiden refuses to die before he leaves his mark on the world whether it be for good or for ill but most of all before he attain the power of the lightning dragonslayer.

Skin Tone: An almost pale complexion
Appearance: Raiden is quite a handsome specimen. His chiseled bone structure, alluring gaze and athletic body always seems to have him sought after by a fair share of women. His attire consists of classical style wearing a blue long coat with a dark blue ribbed vest underneath, matching leather pants with brown knee-high boats, a silken cravat and lastly finger-less leather gloves(light brown). When not in his adventure attire his close can very from a casual look to a more refined one.
