Personality: A heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness make it hard for the average person to discern Shunsuke's thoughts. Some may find his demeanor rather, unsettling, and just plain creepy. That's probably why some people might not really trust him a whole lot. Mind you, Shunsuke is fully aware of the effect he has on people, and has on several occasions used said effect to quite frankly toy with a person's emotional state. In laymen's terms, he knows exactly what to say to make a happy person want to kill themself, and a sad person to feel really good about themselves. As the current head of the Kato clan, or what's left of it, Shunsuke is expected to be of the highest order, highest pretty much everything to be frank once more. But let me tell you right now that Shunsuke really doesn't give a damn about any of that stuff. He just likes to go off on his own, roaming everywhere and all that. Not because it makes him look cool or anything, all it is is a man liking to do the things he likes. Most of those things would creep the regular person out though. Unless of course, you're into that kind of stuff. But I'm not gonna get into that right now. Hmm, what else about Shunsuke can I type that isn't total crap? Excuse my language. Oh yeah. His favorite hobby is something he calls "people-watching", where he just stalks people for about an hour ow two each day or something like that.

In battle, Shunsuke is a highly perceptive combatant, although you wouldn't know it because he doesn't like to do battle very much. He just sees it as being a "kill or be killed" situation, something minute and trivial and that could be easily finished by his using his Magic, which he believes to be the best, of course. But who wouldn't take pride in their ability? Anyhow, Shunsuke's above personality almost doesn't change at all when he fights. He's still that creepy self of his. Except he's actually getting off his behind and doing something that could quite possibly kill him now. Having been asleep for several hundreds of years, more than I frankly want to get into right now, only seems to have honed Shunsuke's skill in melee combat, especially in hand to hand combat. That of which meaning that he knows how to exploit openings with his Magic and use them to his advantage. Way back when, people were actually afraid of fighting Shunsuke, because of his unbelievable skill in combat. He's like an anaconda, biting and retracting and biting and retracting and biting and retracting. You get the drift. Asides from talking about how great Shunsuke is, I can safely say that Shunsuke is a...weird fellow, both in battle and out. As I write this, I'm wondering what I could write about Shunsuke that makes perfect sense. It's hard to find ideas, to be honest asides from the terrifyingly creepy energy that Shunsuke exhumes on a daily basis. I'll tell you right now: Shunsuke isn't that much of a leader, never has, probably never will be.

Likes:

• If you don't already know, people-watching, or stalking is one of Shunsuke's favorite pasttimes.
  

• Another one of Shunsuke's favorite things to do is to screw with people's emotions.
  

• Shunsuke reveres his own magic to a greater extent than he does most people.
  

Dislikes:

• Labels: Shunsuke absolutely hates being called a "Dark Mage", "Light Mage", or whatever, anything besides his name.
  

• Those who steal from the poor: One time, someone stole Shunsuke's favorite toy. Okay, it was a wakizashi, but you get the drift. It was because of that that he hates those who steal, particularly from people who don't have enough themselves.
  

• Fighting with children: Shunsuke personally believes that children shouldn't fight and are reserved for their house to play soccer or something.
  

Motivations:

• The utmost thing Shunsuke desires is power, and he will step on anyone or anything in order to gain it.
  

• Have I told you about how the Magic Council so gracefully annihilated Shunsuke's clan, the Kato, and knocked him into a 400-year-long sleep, and how he wants to completely destroy the judicial system of Fiore?
  

• Shunsuke believes that it was corruption that fueled the massacre of the Kato clan. He desires to completely reform Fiore into a dictatorship, regardless of whether he is at the top or not.
  

Fears:

• Spiders, especially big ones are the primary cause of concern for Shunsuke.
  

• Defeat is a byword among the Kato clan elders. Shunsuke is no exception.
  

• After seeing his relatives being slaughtered, and being buried alive, death is not something that he would like to see once more.
