Axel Alexander
He doesn't remember much of his childhood. An open field? An open road? A forest? He's not sure which he spent most of his time. His mother is just an image in the mind of his 3 year old self. His father, a silhouetted enigma of a man. He always seemed to walk in front of him. Although they traveled together, all he remembers is the harsh life he had before. His father, always asking him to do things by himself. To fix things himself. To survive, by himself. He never left off though. His father stayed, just to make sure he was still there. Or so Axel thought at first. He seemed to be a huge burden to him. His father, the brave warrior. The fearless barbarian. A horrible parent. These terrible thoughts plagued him until he was 6. It was his birthday.
This was the day that changed his life. Axel awoke to a great heat. Fire was everywhere. All around the camp was a raging hell. His father screamed in a way that has nightmared the boy since.
"RUUUNN!!!"
His father has never been afraid. He's supposed to be fearless. That was when he saw the source of that fear. A great and terrifying demon, reached up through the ground before them. Magma spewing out of the hole like a sputtering pot of boiling water.
"Aargas Alexander! You have angered forces even you don't comprehend!" Fire burst upwards all around. "I, Mortar, shall remove you and this 'Filth' to repay your crimes!"
"NO! RUN AXEL! GO!" His father screamed, as if frantically trying to move him with voice alone. But Axel couldn't move. His legs were frozen stiff with fear.
The ground began to shake, and molten rock started to boil to the surface. His father, Arrgas, use magic to create a large tree branch to burst from the ground to attack the threat. The demon dodged, but the blow to the ground was enough to knock Axel a few hundred feet away from the battle. Axel could only watch the monster turn to face Aargas, his father, before blacking out.
He awoke to see a cracked statue about 20 feet away, staring at him. It started to turn away. Axel yelped "Father..."
The man of stone muttered to himself, "This kid, he gave it to him. Hurrr". The gruff noise he made was sort of serious, but almost of humor. "Your childish father is an Idiot. But I see he cared enough to sacrifice everything for you. I mean to entrust Gaiga Magna to yet another fool". He paused for a moment, then said "You father loved you kid, don't let that go to waste." He then vanished leaving a strange marking on the ground where he disappeared.
Very shortly after, he was found by a man who worked a logging/quarry business. The man found that the kid was strong and smart. For the next 10 years he worked and lived with him and his family. He never really got to see much magic by that point.
Within days of the Incident he noticed that he could feel and understand the earth itself. He couldn't explain it. But it was there. He never came out with it because the family was very anti-mage. He began to train himself on his own time. Since he had no friends his age, it was no alarm to anyone.
He did end up summoning a golem on accident when he tried to defend the Worker's Cabin from a small Cockatrice attack. The main family, especially the man who treated him like a father up until then, all were surprised, but OK with his being a Mage. But a few workers were not and asked that he leave(already freaked out by his unusual physical strength). Davis, the owner refused. But Axel decided to go anyway. He felt he had a different future, as well as a new freedom and goal. He was going to find the golem that saved him, find out about this magic he had. Plus, he would help others on his way, just like his father had done for him.
He found out the magic was a Lost magic from a member of fairy tail. And found out exactly what it was from a member who said they were from Sabretooth. He also had helped people here and there. But to today still knows nothing about the being who helped him years ago. He has collected many books and artifacts related to golems, and they are currently at his room at his adopted family's home until he can obtain a good residence and retrieve them.

Need to Knows
--(currently unknown to Axel)--
- Aargas was an S rank when leaving his old guild. Was considered SS rank Before Death
- Roc Magnus is actually a rejected Earth Demon, and not a Golem.(rejected for being too nice for demons or dark mages; and not liked by people, most mages, or holy beings for being a demon)
- (BTW The magic seems to have been transferred to him through some unknown magic without knowing how or when. It is thought his father did it while Axel slept., or it was done by Roc Magnus(the 'statue') with Aargas last wish)
--(known to Axel)--
- Anti-Mage feelings have since changed at the quarry/lumber site
- Aargas was a tree based earth mage
