Raid the Raiders (Crimzon, Irina, Okura Jin, Kakuma Blackflower) |JOB|

Kakuma watched as Irina struck the enemy, just grinning a bit. Before they could organize against Irina Kakuma changed back into her wolf from and jumped down. The two men cried out as a 7 foot tall white wolf jumped out in front of them. Kakuma didn't give them time to react she lunged forward and grabbed on by the leg and started running, pulling the man from his feet and dragging him down the street. She dragged the man in the direction of the bird, The man screamed and shouted as he bounced and scrapped against the ground. He bounced one more time solidly and stopped shouting or moving. It was at this point Kakuma let go of his leg but kept running, changing into her humanoid form as she did. She could see the bird now, it was only about 20 meters out, it let out a screech as Kakuma summoned her sword. The bird flapped it wings to try at take off into the air, but Kakuma changed from and grabbed its leg and pulled it down. The bird tried shaking Kakuma off, but she was not going to give up her meal, Kakuma started shaking her teeth causing the bird to screech louder. The birds wings could not support both Kakuma's wolf forms weight and the birds weight. Slowly she brought it down where she rolled over onto it and bit into it throat. It let out a panicked Shrek the turned into a gurgle. Kakuma proceeded to devour the large bird, as she ate she licked her lips and looked up, another bird was in the are a far bigger one then this one. Had she just eaten its child?

Amidst the confusion and arguments Aether had launched himself into the enemy could do nothing but reel back in a state of shock and confusion. During this time Aether had taken two of the pistols from their owners and quickly had let out a few shots into the surrounding confused bandits before the weapons became too hot to hold, quickly swapping them out into bludgeoning weapons to be wielded by the two tendrils that had assisted him and his companions up onto the wall, seeing as they were made of an organic material that showed no signs of conducting the heat that was now emanating off of the pistols he began to bludgeon and fend off two of the men in a quick and precise fashion. By the time he had taken down 3 men, one shot three times in the time it took him to steal and shoot off a few rounds before switching the pistols into a heated weapon, the other two bandits taken out by rapid blows in succession, a large 10 foot tiger had made its way into the battle and stomped two of the men who were about to attack Aether in his blind spot.

It took a moment to realise that the tiger was the small cub which belonged to Jin and in that time three of the men who were standing just outside the circle had managed to start running off, their weapons discarded onto the floor. Taking this opportunity whilst their backs were turned Aether took the pistols which he was just using to beat their friends into submission and using his tendrils launched them at the fleeing bandits, both pistols came into contact with their targets, with one just managing to escape. Aether couldn’t get the bandit now so he left the one who got away to his partner, whom to what he could tell could use a longer ranged magic than himself.

A succession of attacks and Jin, Kaya and Aether along with Jin’s summoned warriors overwhelmed the opposing bandits. The last remaining one now ran off from Aether and it appeared that Aether had left him for Jin. If Jin rushed it wouldn’t be that difficult to get close enough to use one of his attacks but before he could do so, once again Kaya leaped into action. Meanwhile, Jin punched kicked and stomped over his opposition. The sword wielding warrior next to him slashed through his foe and took down him, with another slash the opponent was unconscious and bloody. Kaya ran off after the running bandit and the archer on top of her launched a flurry of arrows until the bandit fell off the wall. ”Good job Kaya” complimented Jin, he then turned to Aether who had used Jin’s heated guns as a weapon. ”I probably should’ve warned you, but you leaped into action so fast I had no time. Thank goodness everything turned out fine in the end”, that implied this was the end then? Was it?

The battle had just begun and now Jin and Aether had secured the siege weapons on the wall. However, the guard bird had disappeared; had it already been taken down by Kakuma. Before Jin could find an answer to that, he noticed an even larger bird now circling around where the smaller bird should be. ”Wait a minute? That large bird from before, was that just a baby? So that means, this is the mother?” he looked at Aether and then turned to look at the siege weapons. Would they be able to use them to take down this new foe? Or would they have to deal with troubles of their own? ”You’ve got more than hands, let’s use them. I’ll help you, Kaya and the warriors will stand guard” said Jin as he rushed towards one of the large contraptions.

'Monster Dice' :

Irina stabbed the brutes other leg as he tried to squirm as his partner was dragged off into the distance to wherever Kakuma intended to disappear. The brute at her feet would be down for quite some time considering that both his leg had been sliced wide open by Irina's sword. Irina removed the weapon and started of on the path that Kakuma took off in only to hear load squawks as if some sort of bird was getting pulled out of the air, Kakuma must have went after the bird however it didn't sound quite right, it sounded too small for the one she had seen earlier. Irina looked up as a much larger bird started to scout the skies, now that would probably be a problem and Irina turned down an ally way to come face to face with several men, they were unfortunate to come up against their enemy but it wasn't exactly Irina's intention to fight them either. The five of them began their charge only to find Irina behind them after their first step with the sound of a clink as Irina snapped Murasame back into its sheath as all of them found at least one arm hacked clean off and several other slashes across their body. Irina was far to fast for them and given the enclosed space they weren't exactly in a place that they could handle with their group size. Irina proceeded down the allay way to enter a court yard where several captives were being held, it appears she had just taken out the guards of the prisoners and now she was the official guard. "Why do I always end up with baby sitting duty." Irina said as she facepalmed and began to cut them lose informing them where they should run to get away. As soon as the last was cut free she began to also leave her duty being to keep watch over the captives so they don't just get captured again, this however would leave the rest to her guild mates.

'Monster Dice' :

Kakuma ran through the camp, trying to avoid getting seen. She pushed into a large tent with out stopping only to bump into someone. She took a step back and shook her head clear. She changed form without thinking, "hey what th..." She stopped short when she realized that there was a room of baddies staring at her. "uh... uh Hi, I'm the ent..." she stopped as they all started moving her way, many drawing weapons. "Damn it." She simply cursed and pulled her blade free of her sheath. "well then come on." Kakuma smiled and held out her free hand. She smiled and gathered light for a split second, She held it while the group cluttered around her. Just as one of their blades were about to hit, she slammed her fist down onto the ground. A plus of holy energy centered on Kakuma rolled out, each one of them were thrown back. Kakuma spun quickly and made a horizontal sweep with her claws, a blade of light sprung forth cutting into the enemy's that had remained back a bit. Just like that the fight was over, she had barely lifted a finger and had taken out every single enemy present.

Kakuma stepped over the body's of the bandits, she was intent on a bit of the food that was cooking on one of the stoves. Nizria made a comment as Kakuma grabbed a plate. *so... was this all just to get their food?* Kakuma stuffed her face with a potato from the stew that had been in pot.

"Yup." Kakuma said, spraying the counter with potato bits, "I'm going home... the others can handle the rest. Kakuma picked up the pot and left the city, intent to make it home.

'Monster Dice' :

Nodding to his partner he let all six of his tendrils flow freely from his back, quickly setting up the siege weapon and loading it with a round and turning it around and aiming it up at the large bird which circled around the area. With Jin’s help he managed to steady the machine and fire a large round up at the dire falcon, drawing its attention and the attention of its master whom was standing upon a balcony of a tower in the far corner of the fortress, watching the entire event taking place. Quickly setting up a few more rounds and unloading them in the general direction of the dire falcon resulting a few more near misses.

Aether cursed his aim and suddenly had an idea. Loading up another round he aimed in the middle of the flightpath of the bird then began to climb up onto the front of the weapon. “Keep it steady, I’m going to try and bring down the creature myself. I don’t have time to explain but when I give the signal fire the ballista. Once you’ve fired it’d be best to take the cub and get out of here whilst you can.” He told Jin, the power the large bolt needed to propel itself through the air would be enough to get Aether at least up to the bird, the rest he had to rely on his magic, tendrils and quick thinking. As the falcon began to hit the greatest it had flown he gave a quick swipe up and down to inform Jin that now was the time to fire. As the bolt left its holder Aether quickly ran up and on to the arrow, tendrils gripping to it tightly as to not throw him or the arrow off balance and quickly made his way up towards the large bird.

Letting the bolt go he expanded his tendrils to the maximum length in six directions, catching on to the body of the falcon, using the momentum gained from the arrow to fling himself and begin coiling around the bird and striking the joints of its wings, causing it to temporarily bring its wings close enough so Aether could wrap and restrict them to prevent the bird from flying. He then began to direct the falcon’s dive to where its master stood, coming in at a great speed before releasing his grip and jumping off the dire creature, two portals forming in the palms of his hands as he faced them forward and two cones of energy released, causing Jet to slow down enough to watch the aftermath of what he had just created. The leader of the raiders was surely tough enough to survive a large dire falcon landing on his head and the entire building around him, though he doubted that the man would remain conscious afterwards. Using his jump spell he landed safely amongst the rubble of the now crushed building and bird, the leader of the raiders lying face down in the rubble, unconscious.

Aether quickly wrapped the man in two of his tendrils to bind his movement and his mouth to prevent him from speaking if he were to regain consciousness, carrying him out of the fort and back towards the villiage to collect the reward.

Spells used:

The siege weapons were greater in number but thanks to Aether’s tendrils they managed to load them up and start the offense. It wasn’t fruitful much since neither could land a blow on the large but quite agile creature. Finally Aether came up with a plan but didn’t have time to explain to Jin, so Jin just had to do what he was told and trust his guild mate. Well, that was something far more easier to do for him. When Aether gave him the signal, he fired the ballista right at that moment and then gestured Kaya to get off the wall. Both he and Kaya jumped off the wall leaving everything to Aether’s capable tendrils and hands. After a few minutes of fighting in mid air, Aether manages to make the bird dive into a building probably aiming to take out someone.

By then, Jin was already on the ground and Kaya had now shrunk to her normal chibi self. The two warriors Jin had summoned had now disappeared since they had served their purpose. The battle was now over, both Jin and Kaya were tired. Kaya crawled onto his shoulder and fell asleep right when she got up there, Jin gently patted her head: ”You did good Kaya, rest now”. He looked around to find the other half of the team; the group had divided into two teams when they approached the hideout. The place had now become a battle field, there were bandits that Jin and Aether had thrown down the wall. There were those that had been defeated by Kakuma and Irina and then there was the rubble left from the siege attacks and the battles. He moved through from one camp to another to make sure that there was no bandit hiding around but he couldn’t find any survivors. He entered a camp to find quite a few bandits almost killed, something so brutal could only be done by his two guild mates. More like, it could only be done by one of them since these enemies did comprise of four seriously strong bandits. ”Kakuma?!” the name instantly came into his mind.

Having looked around for quite a while and not noticed either Kakuma or Irina, he decided to wait for the his group to regroup. He found himself a spot that would be visible to his guild mates once they were done with their battles. After that, he would make the journey back to their guild island along with his friends having defeated the notorious bandits.
